After Ikuno and Futoshi are injured, the rest of the gang has to work to survive through the danger of the Klaxosaurs as they come closer to destroying Plantation 13. Will everyone get out in time? Or will the Klaxosaurs take over the Earth?

5. The Next Battle

"ZERO TWO! HIRO!" Goro screamed.

Zero Two and Hiro were stuck underneath the klaxosaur. They almost got into the same mess Futoshi and Ikuno got themselves into. Miku was steering Argentea towards the klaxosaur. Goro dashed towards her and Zorome. The klaxosaur flipped Argentea into the air. Luckily, Zorome managed to land the FranXX on its feet. Goro and Ichigo held the klaxosaur up so that Strelitzia could climb out. Goro zoomed out as Genista began to shoot the klaxosaur, while Strelitzia and Ichigo stabbing it with their pointy sword thingys. (I dunno what it's called) Strelitzia stabbed from the top, while since Delphinum stabbed it from the side. The klaxosaur fell to the ground and died. Kokoro sighed in relief. "That was close." Mitsuru nodded. "Yeah, we were almost dead meat like..." Mitsuru paused. "Mitsuru?" Kokoro sounded worried. He thought of what Ai had seen, and the talk that he and Kokoro had had with her. Zorome waved in their direction. "Kokoro, Mitsuru! Time to go!" She looked back at her husband. "Mitsuru? Their going back to the plantation." Kokoro said this again, even more worried this time. "Oh, nothing, let's go." Mitsuru snapped back to real life. Kokoro looked at him, confused at worried at the time, but shrugged it off and drove back toward the plantation.
