Sesshomaru feeling disgusted immediately after dealing with Kagura, calls in Jaken to disinfect his office and he requested to remove all furniture and re-decorate. He did not want anything that could have been touched by Kagura.
Kagura was not a really bad person; she just had some ways about herself that Sesshomaru grew tired of. He once thought maybe she could be the one that stands beside him, but that quickly faded with her shenanigans.
Kagura will not be entering this Sesshomaru's office again, he thought to himself. Sesshomaru arrives at his mansion and begins to whine down when he feels his pone buzz, Father, he says to himself, he accepts the video call.
"Good Evening my son, I wanted to see how the first day was?" Sesshomaru replies, "You need not worry, This Sesshomaru knows how to carry himself concerning business and politics. I can withstand the humans up until this race is over".
"Sounds great son, not only did I want to know about your day but there is a press conference coming up in a couple days and I would like for you to be in attendance. Not only would you get the day off from your interns it will be give me the most pleasure and a good impression on the people if you were in attendance with me. You could summarize about how the program is coming along".
Sesshomaru replies, "Whatever is needed for the company Father I will do it, just send over what I need to know to Jaken".
"Enjoy the rest of your night son". The video calls ends and Sesshomaru smirks to himself when the idea of Rin joining him and giving a speech as well on her opinion of the internship program.
I continue to entertain myself with Ms. Rin, I do not know why I cling to her, I barely know her, but something draws me to her, it is like I set aside her weakness as human, she is like a breath of fresh air, hmph! No one could ever know my true deepest thoughts, I would look like a hypocrite!, Seeshomaru thinks to himself.
Rin gets to her car, and calls Kagome and told her how her day went.
"I see Lord Seeshomaru on tv all the time, but nothing compares to him in person. He never really shows all his features but girl…. I almost felt like a puppy drooling!"
"Oh my God Rin, stop while you are ahead, that is your boss and on top of that he is a demon, he is quite different from Inuyasha. I said that because that is what needed to be said for work but as a girlfriend, I can't deny and say he isn't gorgeous, just don't get too invested, might get your feelings hurt", Kagome say.
"Oh, don't get me wrong I am not invested like that, he is a cutie but this will be professional. Well Lady I am going to call it a day, I am almost home, and I will be retiring, I will talk to you tomorrow!"
Rin enters her home and falls back on her couch, what a good day! We will see what tomorrow will bring, she says to herself and then falls asleep on her couch.
The next day Rin gets up promptly but with a creak in her neck from sleeping on the couch and a couple minor aches.
She pops an advil, it was only the first day and I was that tired to fall asleep on the couch! She said to herself.
Rin thought a nice belted sleeveless dress that stopped at her knees, 2-inch black heels, would be perfect for the day, with a tennis bracelet and light makeup as always, she decided to keep her long raven hair out today.
Heading to work, she gets a ring from Sesshomaru, "Hello", Rin says.
"Good Morning Ms. Hagawari, I hope you are faring well this morning?"
"Yes, Lord Sesshomaru, and yourself?" Rin replies. "I am doing quite well actually, thank you for asking.
"I know you are probably on your way in, but could you come straight to my office upon arrival".
"Oh yes I most certainly can, I will be there shortly as I am on my way now", Rins says.
"Farewell", Sesshomaru concluded.
"He really speaks ancient, kind of rubbing off on me", Rin giggles.
Rin enters the building, greets everyone and heads up to Sesshomaru's office. She gets to his door and she does not have to knock because Sesshomaru tells her to enter. Rin looks around the room, "re-decorated?"
Sesshomaru looks up to her looking annoyed, "It was a last-minute decision, have a seat please Rin".
Rin thinks to herself; I cannot get enough of that, I damn near melt every time he says my name, alright focus now Rin!
Rin smiles and Sesshomaru starts, "I have a proposition for you, but I don't want to put too much on you if you can not handle it".
"Lord Sesshomaru, I can handle anything that crosses my way, I believe I already informed you and meant what I said when I will ace anything handed to me. If it was meant to come my way, then I was meant to accomplish it".
Rin sat back in the chair and crossed her legs. Sesshomaru eyes her crossing her legs and his inner demon speaks, I would love to run my tongue across those thick thighs.
Sesshomaru clears his throat trying to dismiss his inner demon thoughts and stands up and turns around to face the large window with Tokyo in the background. "I must say Rin you are a confident one, before hearing what I have to say, you already are crossing your name on the dotted line.
He smiles and turns around, "You have impressed this Sesshomaru with your confidence", he begans to walk around the desk. "Since you believe you are so top of your game would you want to be apart of a press conference for the company regarding the internship here, it will be in a couple days from now, but I want you to compile a speech representing the program it does not have to be long but short and sweet. As you are aware my father is running for Governor and it will help the company, especially coming from someone like you that radiates so much energy". Sesshomaru is now leaning back on the front his desk in front of Rin.
Rin eyes got so big and replies, "Milord you have nothing to worry about I can get it done", Rin stands and looks up to Sesshomaru and says, "I will do what it takes for the company".
Sesshomaru looks down to Rin and stares and his inner demon speaks again, is she flirting with us, she wants us to take her, she must! She looks at us with those chocolate brown eyes so seductively, and then smiles and shows off her smooth silky legs, she toys with us!
Sesshomaru speaks to his demon, calm yourself, she just knows what she wants, I don't even think she realize she may be flirting, we understand her drive but she is not my type, so she can continue to do what she thinks she is trying to do to me, but it will never work!
Sesshomaru rolls his eyes and moves around Rin, "Keep your notifications on for I will be contacting you when the exact date of the conference is".
"Yes, milord Rin responds. "Let us get down to today's schedule, you will be working on different operating systems, as you begin to gain the skill around that, I will be looking for you to execute your own. As technology continues to grow, we look for brilliant and sharp individuals to keep our facility advanced and above all others".
Sesshomaru looks at Rin with concern because she is slightly bent, holding herself up on his desk, "Is there something the matter?"
Rin smiled and said, "Excuse my sarcasm but that was like the equivalent to asking me for marriage, this is one of the happiest days of my life".
Sesshomaru could not help but chuckle, "You are a very silly woman, you seem to keep me entertained, which intrigues me".
"Well, I am glad that I intrigue you, that means I have your attention. Lord Sesshomaru whenever you are ready, lead the way".
Sesshomaru stared at this woman and thought, who do she think she is?
As Rin was wrapping up her session, she receives an email from Sesshomaru letting her know the press conference will be on Friday at 10am.
She thinks to herself, it is only my second day, Tuesday, already advancing to another level and now Friday I will be representing the internship program at a press conference for the Governor, I think this calls for a drink later.
Friday comes and Rin has formed her speech as short and sweet as possible for the conference, she meets Sesshomaru in the Lobby and he is looking sharp as ever, and Rin made sure she pulled out all the stops on her looks to make her boss look good.
Sesshomaru looks to Rin and cannot believe how more beautiful she can get. He has never eyed a human like this before, but his guard was coming down and he may not be able control what he will do or what he will say.
Sesshomaru did not have any idea what Rin may say but he was confident she would blow them away as she is a cocky little one. Sesshomaru introduces Rin and she begins her speech:
"My name is Rin Hagawari and I am one of the fellow candidates for InUTaishO Tech's intern program. Coming into the facility I did not know what to expect as any student would when looking for their first job after college. This internship is the catalyst for us to eventually begin in the real world and I am proud that we have been recognized for our work ethic. The Inutaisho's push us to keep going and not to give up. They believe everyone is a student because well we all had to start somewhere, we all learn at our own pace and are treated equally. As I only been here for a week, it feels like home and where I am meant to be. Lord Sesshomaru has already entrusted me into making my own operating system that will eventually be apart of the brand in all things Technology coming near you". Rink winks and points her finger to the crowd.
Sesshomaru froze, what did that girl just say!
Rin is given a round applause, smiles and steps off stage and Sesshomaru gives her a glare that nearly turns Rin into ice.
"Follow me now!" Sesshomaru growled.
He finds a private place and snaps, "Ms. Hagawari, Do you think me a fool? That cockiness of yours can get you seriously harmed girl! I did not guarantee you the operating system you create will be successful, I just told you what we were looking for! You dare to try to embarrass this Sesshomaru"!
His golden orbs fade from honey to a tint Rin has never seen and she begins to worry, but something inside of her feels she can calm him down. She stands in front of him and puts her hand on his shoulder, softly she says, "Lord Sesshomaru I am not set to embarrass you, you entrust me, and you have confidence in me and with that I will never make you look like a fool. You are golden in my eyes and with that I have the motivation and drive to conquer whatever that comes my way. I will do the work and make you proud you chose me".
Sesshomaru began to tense down, and he is staring into Rin's eyes and goes to grab her hand off his shoulder but Rin takes his hand instead, "Now then Let's go get something to eat since we have the rest of the day off, I am starving", Rin says.
Sesshomaru replies with, "Hmph"! Rin leads the way still holding his hand and Sesshomaru thinks to himself, how is she able to get me like this, I do not understand, I never thought I would submit to anyone besides Father, this human woman is doing something to me! Rin looks to him and smiles and Sesshomaru's inner demon smiles and growls in delight.
