Shaun was so happy, that Lea sort of remembered Maddie, so he decided to bring Maddie to the hospital to see Lea. But Glassman and Claire didn't think it was a good idea, but he didn't care and went with his decision.

As he pushed her stroller and entered into the hospital, people walked by and thought she was so cute. One person said, "oh my gosh, she looks like her mommy"

Shaun just nodded as he headed to the elevators and the headed to Lea's room.

When he arrived at her room, she was watching tv, and turned to look at him, "Dr. Murphy, hello"

"Hello, Lea. How are you today?" he said as he unbuckled Maddie from her stroller

"I'm good…oh my goodness, is that the little baby, I saw from your phone?"

Shaun held Maddie in his arms, "yes this is my daughter, Maddie. Would you like to hold her?"

"Please, come here sweetheart" Lea said as she reached her arms out and held onto her, "my goodness, you are a beautiful girl. You have your daddy's eyes, but you must look a lot like your mommy. Speaking of your mommy, where is she?" she asked as she looked at Shaun

"She is…out of town on business"

"Well, seeing no ring on your finger, I assume you guys are just boyfriend and girlfriend."

Shaun clenched his hands, "yes, but I had a plan of proposing to her."

"Well, I hope she says yes"

Shaun nodded and just looked at his girls, and praying that Lea, would remember Maddie, but nothing was happening. He waited longer, but Claire came in, "I'm sorry to disturb you guys, but its question time, again"

"No worries, we were just about to leave." Shaun said as he grabbed Maddie, "but I hope you won't mind if I brought Maddie to see you again?"

Lea smiled, "I would love that. She is very lucky to have a daddy like you"

Shaun smiled and put Maddie in her stroller and headed home.

The next day, Shaun brought Maddie again to see Lea, and same thing she didn't remember her, but felt a connection to her.

Lea began tearing up, "why do I feel a connection toward you?" she said as she cuddled Maddie

"What kind of connection, do you think you have? How do you feel when you hold her?" he asked

"I feel like I am related to her…is your girlfriend a relative of mine?"

Shaun nodded, "you can say that"

"Is your girlfriend, a sister, or cousin of mine?"

He didn't know what to say, when the diaper bag fell off the chair, and out popped out the teddy bear Glassman and Debbie got for Maddie.

Shaun began picking up the items that fell out of the bag, when Lea shouted, "that's Dr. Ted!"

He looked up at her in shock, "yes, how did you know that?"

Lea reached for the teddy bear, "this is Dr. Ted, Maddie's favourite toy. Maddie is my baby girl. I remember, someone gave this to Maddie, my little girl before she was born."

Shaun nodded, "yes"

"So, you are my boyfriend or…oh please don't tell me we had an affair, because, I still don't remember you?"
