Felix didn't like how this girl, this Marinette, keeps declining his thanks.

After she gave him her lunch, he felt indebted, so he gave her his lunch money. Declined. He tried giving her a small gift. Declined. A medium gift? Declined. Jewelry, I mean, girls love jewelry! There was no way she could- Declined.

He wanted to scream in frustration, corner her and demand her to tell him what she wants. And that was the exact thing he did the next day, after two days of trying. What did she respond with? "I told you, I don't want you to repay me with anything. So, don't."

She was beyond frustrating.

But then he noticed how she was always alone. Never was around at lunch, but when she was, she would be sitting alone and no one offered to sit with her. She also almost never interacts with her peers unless she was required to, and no one seemed to bother with her.

So, when it was lunchtime, he tried to find her. He did behind the stairs. She was peacefully drawing in a pink sketchbook with a bag of croissants beside her. As quiet as possible, he sat down beside her.

Marinette felt his presence but didn't ask him to leave, since she wasn't bothering her. She let him stay for the rest of the lunch period, and never once did Felix bothered her.

It was a nice change.
