CHAPTER 4

"KATSUKI BAKUGO IS STILL A COMPLEX CHARACTER"

15 years old

The first day to Yuuei finally came.

And it was more chaotic than expected.

"Umbrella!"

Kaori hastily opened a nearby cabinet and began rummaging its contents, "I think I left it here yesterday, oh! Here it-"

Kaori turns to face her daughter with a bright smile, holding out an All Might umbrella to the girl in question.

The father-and-daughter duo sweatdropped at the bright light surrounding the Genji matriarch.

'She's... so bright!'

"Er", Akasuki opened her bag and brought out an umbrella, "I... already packed my Present Mic umbrella, mama", she scratches her cheek sheepishly using her other hand.

The duo sweatdropped further when the redhead mother fell onto the floor dramatically, a sad aura surrounding her as she began weeping.

Masaru bent down on his knees as he began consoling his wife, "Akachan is growing up, isn't she?", he let out a sniffled as he rubs his nose with his pointer finger.

"She's so independent now!"

Akasuki let out a sigh as her father joined her mother at her weeping session.

'Here we go again'

She let out a groan as she walked closer to the duo, grabbing her father's forearm, and began tugging the man towards the front door.

"I'm going to be late!", she complained while continuing- and failing- to drag her father towards the entrance, "Stop. Being. Lazy. And. LET'S GO!"

Akasuki let out a grunt as she was forcibly tuck in the arms of her dramatic father with her mother hugging her behind.

"Nejire-chan is already waiting for us!", she cried out while squirming within the hug, "We're gonna be late!"

"Then you'll take this?", Kaori asked, sniffling slightly, as she held out the All Might umbrella in her possession, her eyes gleaming in emotion.

"Will you"

Akasuki glanced at the umbrella briefly before looking back at her mother, who is now giving her the puppy-eyes no jutsu.

'No-! Fight it! I shall not waver-!'

Then a teardrop fell from the corner of her mother's eyes making her groan.

"UGH! FINE! Can we please go now?"

"Thank you for the lift, Sao-oji!"

Nejire beamed, leaning closer towards the driver's seat where Sadao is, giving him a thumbs-up, "You're the best! Really!"

Sadao chuckles, his cheeks warming at the gesture, "You're like a second daughter to us, Nejire-chan", he responded with a smile, "Just make sure to get Akachan out of trouble, okay?", he jokes.

Akasuki pouted beside the periwinkle-haired girl, "I don't get in trouble", she protested, "In fact, I'm a great student dad!", she exclaimed while pointing at herself.

She jabs a finger accusingly in his direction.

"You're the reason we're late! You're the troublesome one here, dad!"

And that's how their ride to Yuuei went.

A couple of minutes later, after kissing her father goodbye with Nejire waving behind her cheerfully, the two girls stood by the entrance of Yuuei.

Both of their eyes gleaming in joy as they stare at the huge campus.

"This is it", Akasuki breathe, tearing up slightly at the sight in front, "We're really here, Nerechan", she ended with a sniffle.

"I can't believe it"

"Well, you better do!", Nejire beamed while tackling her best friend for a hug, "We got this in the bag, Sukichan!", she cheered.

Without letting the redhead respond, the periwinkle-haired girl pulled away from the hug and began dragging the redhead towards the school, her grin never faltering.

"Now, let's go to our classroom already! Come on, I'm so excited!"

You read it right.

Both girls are part of Class 1-A hero class of Yuuei.

Nejire openly gawks at the huge door of Class 1-A with awe, "It's so huge", she brought her hands on her cheeks as she swoons.

"There's gotta be a giant there", she whispers, her eyes shining in curiosity, "I'M COMING IN!", she announced loudly before opening the doors.

Akasuki stepped inside the classroom after the periwinkle-haired girl, who immediately bolted towards the first person she saw.

The redhead girl watched the scene in amusement as she walks towards her designated seat, which was shown at the board at the front.

Fortunately, Nejire and her are seatmates.

Her steps falter as she spots a familiar indigo-haired male character sitting a few chairs away, who unconsciously gaining the attention of others with his gloomy aura.

Akasuki let out a frown as she sits down, her eyes traveling around the room looking for a certain blonde-hair male.

'I don't get it', the redhead thought as her frown deepened, glancing back at the indigo-haired boy.

'Why isn't Mirio here?'

It took a couple of minutes before their homeroom teacher arrived.

"WHAT'S UP, YOUNG LISTENERS?! I WELCOME YOU TO YUUEI!"

If you don't know who that is with that statement alone- you're a disgrace.

Akasuki covers her mouth with her hands as she stares awestruck at the sound hero in front, her eyes shining in joy as sparkles surrounds the redhead girl.

And the fangirling began.

'Oh my god, it's Present Mic in real person! I can't believe I'm seeing one of my favorite characters up close! I am so blessed to be-'

Nejire let out a giggle, facing her best friend and completely ignoring the pro-hero in front, while snapping a picture of the redhead.

'Sukichan is so cute~', she cooed inwardly, 'Gonna send this to Sao-oji right~ now!'

"Alright!", Present Mic exclaimed after ending his speech- which none of the girls listened at, "Now form two lines outside and let's head over to the grounds for orientation, you dig it?!"

As usual, no one verbally responded to the pro-hero. The rest of the class simply nodded before standing up and began exiting the classroom.

Present Mic, used to the cold shoulder, simply continues chattering and pointing out instructions while he walks out together with the other students.

Well, save for one student.

"Ne, why are you hiding like a hermit Murasakino-kun? [1]", Nejire tilted her head confused, "Ne ne, are you a real-life hermit? Is that it?"

Akasuki, who snapped out of her fangirling, sweatdropped at the sight.

Nejire can be seen crouched in front of a certain indigo-haired male student huddled in the farthest corner of the classroom.

Akasuki let out a sigh, standing up from her seat as soon as Nejire began poking the said boy, who is now trembling and eyeing Nejire fearfully.

'He looks like a scared puppy'

Akasuki playfully flicks Nejire's forehead, who let out a whine at the gesture, "Nerechan, we do not poke people we barely know", she scolded.

"You scared him! Now, go apologize before we line up outside"

Nejire deflated before uttering a half-hearted apology which earned her a flick on the forehead from the redhead.

Akasuki turns to face the indigo-haired boy, smiling apologetically as she said, "I'm sorry, she can be a bit... intense sometimes", she sweatdrops.

'More like most of the time'

She held out her hand, "I'm Genji Akasuki, you can call me Akachan instead", she introduced, "The girl before is Hado Nejire, again, sorry about her"

The boy didn't utter any response, instead, just stared at the hand offered to him making the redhead sweatdrop.

'Do I... put it down or not?'

Just as the redhead decided to let down her hand, the indigo-haired boy reached out and grasp her hand.

"Amajiki", he uttered under his breath, his cheeks warming faintly while averting his gaze, "My name... is Amajiki Tamaki", he ended.

An imaginary arrow pierced through the redhead girl's heart at the cuteness in front of her.

"Nice to meet you, Tamakun!", the redhead beamed, tightening her grip slightly as she leans forward with a grin plastered on her face, "Sorry, it's okay to call you right?"

"Let's be the bestest friends, okay?"

"Uh.. o-okay... Gen-"

"Please", she cuts him off, making her eyes wide as possible as she stares at the indigo-haired boy, who firmly looked away, "Call me Akachan. A. Ka. Chan., ne?"

"I insist"

It took a couple of minutes of the redhead staring at the boy before he deflated in defeat.

"Okay... A-Akachan"

The redhead merely beamed in response.

"IT'S PRESENT MIC!"

Akasuki let out an amused expression as the green-haired boy began his fanboying as he stares at the phone in his hands with an awestruck expression.

"Kacchan, look look! It's Present Mic!", the cinnamon boy exclaimed eagerly as he unintentionally shoves the phone on the porcupine's face.

"HE'SSOAWESOME!ILISTENEDTOHISRADIOSHOWSAND-!"

A vein appeared on the ash-blonde boy's forehead as the green-haired boy continues on his ramblings.

After the dreadful orientation, Present Mic said a few announcements and reminders before dismissing them for the day.

On their ride home, they were fetched by Nejire's father, the two girls spotted the two boys heading home together from their school, Aldera.

Obviously, the redhead girl immediately exited the car and announced she'll walk the rest of the way home with the boys.

After waving to Nejire's father and hugging her best friend goodbye, she immediately brought out her phone and shove it towards the green-haired boy before she started walking.

Needless to say, the cinnamon roll did not disappoint.

"Now now, Katsun", Akasuki chuckled as she pats the pomeranian boy's head, an attempt to simmer down his anger, "It's completely normal. Heck, I fangirl in front of Present Mic himself!"

Katsuki deadpanned at his big sister, who puffed out her chest in pride.

"It was a prestigious moment-"

"-SHUT IT, GINGER!", the ash-blonde snapped, "IT'S NOT SOMETHING TO BE PROUD ABOUT, NERD!"

Akasuki pouted at the snarky response.

"Well, how's your first day been?", she queried, changing the subject, making Katsuki snort bringing Izuku out of his trance.

Katsuki huffed, "It's the same boring shit day", he scoffed, "What kind of a fucking question is that, dumb idiot?"

Akasuki smacks the back of his head earning a glare from the boy.

"We only h-had orientation today", Izuku chimes in, averting the redhead's attention from his childhood friend bringing it towards him, "Did y-you have any orientation today, Akaneechan?", he asked eagerly.

"How was it? Was it boring or was it completely different? HowdifferentisYuueifromordinary-?!"

Akasuki placed her pointer finger on the boy's lips, successfully halting his ramblings, "We also had an orientation today", she answered with a cheeky smile.

"And no. It was completely boring like any other orientation we had, Izuku"

Both boys deflated, completely disappointed at her answer.

"Although-", both boys perk up, looking back at her expectantly, well on more obvious than the other. Akasuki let out a grin.

"-We have a mammal as our principal!"

Izuku's shoulder sags while Katsuki, with his eye twitching, scowls at her answer.

Akasuki pouted at their reaction, "Well, it's only the first day!", she defended, "That's the most abnormal thing that happened to me today! What else do you want me to say?!"

"Anything but shit!"

"Katsun! Honestly, your vocabulary is as vulgar as ever"

"Do I look like I give a damn, ginger?!"

The official first day in Yuuei was exactly how it went from the series.

It was boring in the morning.

"LOOK ALIVE, YOUNG LISTENERS!"

Their first subject was English.

Akasuki stared at the board with a bored expression while Nejire is openly snoring at her seat.

Almost everyone in the class is either drooling, staring at the board blankly, or either engrossed at the topic on hand- which the redhead is sure are aliens in disguise.

"HADO!"

Nejire let out a startled yelp, instinctively straightening her posture as she rubs her mouth furiously using her arm, "YES! HADO WAS AWAKE THE WHOLE TIME!", she yelled out.

The redhead girl couldn't help but facepalm at her periwinkle-haired best friend.

Like any other ordinary school, lunch is at the cafeteria. The only difference is the Cook Hero: Lunch Rush is the head chef.

"Oh, Amajiki-kun!", Nejire called out, waving her left hand energetically at the indigo-haired boy, who can be seen sitting at one of the tables in the cafe with a familiar blonde-haired boy.

Akasuki let out a sigh as the periwinkle-haired girl dash forwards towards the boy, leaving the redhead girl alone with both of their lunch on her possessions.

"Oh, who is this?", Nejire questioned, leaning closer to the blonde-haired boy, eyeing him curiously, "I didn't see you in class so- oh! Are you from Class 1-B?! How wondering how is-!"

Akasuki pushed the periwinkle-haired girl away from the boy, stopping her continuous questioning and making her fall on the floor with a thud.

The redhead girl smile apologetically at the two boys, "Sorry for bothering you again, Tamakun", she bows slightly at the two boys, "And to you too, Tamakun's friend"

The blonde-haired boy let out a laugh, "It's no big deal!", he replied with a bright smile, "You're Genji-san, aren't you?", he asked to which the redhead nodded.

"Please, call me Akachan", she added, "I insist"

The blonde boy held out his free hand, his smile never faltering, "I'm Togata Mirio from Class 1-B", he introduced brightly, "It's nice to meet you, Akachan! and you too, Nejire-chan!"

Akasuki let out a laugh as she reciprocates the gesture, placing the food trays on a nearby empty stand, "Genjie Akasuki from Class 1-A. Although I prefer being called Akachan", she repeated, a warm smile appearing on her face.

"Do you mind if we eat together?", she asked.

"Oh no!", Mirio's smile widened, "It will be a pleasure!"

And that's how the Akusquad is formed.

The exciting part starts in the afternoon.

Well, it would be exciting if their teacher in Foundational Hero Studies is All Might.

But he isn't part of Yuuei yet.

"Good afternoon"

A black-haired man with a similar shade of black clothes stood in front of their classroom with a stoic expression while carrying a yellow sleeping bag.

"I will be your teacher for Foundational Hero Studies", he introduced monotonously, "My name is Shota Aizawa, nice to meet you"

Almost everyone in Class 1-A stares at the man in disbelief aside from certain people who deadpanned, looks at him fearfully, and eyes gleaming at him in curiosity.

Wanna guess who those people are?

"Now", the man continued, ignoring the dumbstruck students, and pulled out a Yuuei gym uniform from his yellow sleeping bag.

"Change into this and go outside for our first activity"

Akasuki let out a groan as she slumps on her seat, dreading how obvious their first activity is.

"A quirk assessment test?!"

Mirio scrunches his nose at the thought of it, "I'd probably fail that!", he beamed while rubbing his head, "I'd probably slip through the whole thing, you know!"

His three friends merely blink blankly at his joke making the blonde laugh sheepishly.

"Oh wait!", the redhead brightened as she held up her pointer finger, "I got it! You'll slip through it because of your quirk!", she exclaimed making the blonde boy nod eagerly, feeling delighted of having someone getting his joke.

The four of the first years are walking in the direction of the train station, heading home after finishing their official first day in Yuuei.

Turns out, the four of them board the same train. Lucky them!

"Well anyways!", Nejire chimes in, changing the topic of conversation, "There was this girl in our class who could control these cute dolls!", she gushes, her eyes sparkling in wonder.

"Also, there's this other girl called Haya-chan! Her quirk is so amazing! I can't wait to be heroes together~"

Tamaki let out an exasperated look as Nejire continues telling the others how her day went.

"N-Nejire-san sure g-got a great day", he muttered under his breath, inching closer to Mirio, "All that I could remember is everyone staring at me", he ended solemnly.

His expression darkened at the thought making him tremble which Mirio simply smack his back with a grin and began cheering him up.

"I just... wanna go home-!"

Akasuki sweatdropped as her gaze darted from the indigo-haired boy's dark aura towards the periwinkle-haired girl's bright aura.

'This feels... similar somehow'

Ironically, it reminds her of her two little brothers.

The part where one goes 'DIE DIE DIE!' while the other one goes 'All Might is so amazing! Ijustwannabelikehimtothefactthatmyheroname-!'

The redhead girl snorted at the thought gaining the attention of her three friends.

Nejire pouted, "There's nothing funny about my story, Sukichan!", she whines as she walks closer to the redhead, reaching out to tug her sleeve.

"You're so mean!", she cried out dramatically earning a chuckle from the redhead.

Akasuki reached out and pat Nejire's head, giving the girl a closed-eye smile, "You're right, there isn't any funny about it, Nerechan", she answered.

"Don't believe her, Nejire-san", Tamaki uttered under his breath, glancing at the redhead warily, "There's definitely... something... funny about being stared at-!"

"Now now", Mirio cuts in, placing his hands on Tamaki's should with a smile, "I'm sure Akachan just thought of a great joke!", he claims cheerily.

Akasuki let out a sigh as the three went off, yet again, into their own world.

Needlessly, her mouth twitches before letting out a smile as she watched the scene with a warm feeling surging through her chest.

"Oh, how wonderful!"

Kaori Genji wraps her arms around her daughter in joy, a warm smile plastered on her face, "Now now, wipe that awful expression, Akachan", she chided.

"A president should be a role model! Oh, I'm so proud of you, sweetie!"

"Really", Akasuki uttered under her breath wryly, "I told you, mom, I got elected randomly. There's nothing to be proud of", she protested.

"It was a lucky chance!"

"And you're such a lucky girl!"

Akasuki let out a sigh at the argument.

Today's the day where each class in Yuuei elected a class president.

Of course, like in the series, everyone in class all held out their hands and began shouting, "Me! Me! Pick me!"

Well, almost all of them.

Some looked indifferent and simply sigh at the commotion or watched the scene in amusement.

There's one who shrinks on his seat and completely averting his gaze while silently chanting 'I wanna go home' over and over again.

It took one shout from their homeroom teacher to stopped the screaming session.

In the end, Present Mic decided to randomly pick a student's name out from the box in his possession, who appeared out of nowhere.

The students reluctantly agreed.

With her luck, Yamada pulls out Akasuki's name and loudly began cheering her on.

And that's how she became president.

"I remember the time I became class president", Sadao started, his eyes unfocused as he reminiscence, "It took a lot of blood, sweat, and tears but I managed to get the role"

Kaori clasped her hands together as she nodded, "Indeed", she let out a smile, "Our whole class went through a difficult battle just to find the right person"

The couple let out a sigh as they continue to reminiscence on the memory of their class election.

Akasuki scrunches her nose as she eyed her parents warily.

"Blood, sweat, and tears? Battles?", she repeated dumbfounded at what she heard.

"I... don't remember class elections being so... war-ish?"

"What the fuck were you doing in USJ?"

Akasuki deadpanned as she smacks the head of the ash-blonde, who cursed yet again under his breath.

"We didn't go to the Universal Studios, stupid", she said dryly earning a glare from the boy, "We went to Unforeseen Simulation Joint, which is USJ for short"

The day ended fast for the redhead girl as she spent her whole afternoon doing some rescue training in the USJ.

The USJ was breathtaking in real life, it's so realistic and so beautiful!

She wonders how much Yuuei spent on the maintenance of its training grounds.

"Unforeseen Simulation Joint", Izuku repeated as he writes it down in his notebook making the redhead chuckled in amusement.

"It's a place Yuuei built so we can learn how to rescue people in different situations", she explained which both boys listened earnestly.

"Being a hero isn't all about fighting villains", she lectured, "A hero has the duty to protect the weak, to save those people in need"

Akasuki grinned cheekily as she pokes Katsuki's cheek, "You hear that Katsun?", she teased making a vein appear on the blonde's forehead, "You should learn to save people instead of picking a fight with them, dummy~"

As expected, the blonde boy exploded.

"STOP POKING ME DAMNIT!", he screeched as loudly as he could making the redhead wince.

"I-I'm sure Kacchan already knows that Akaneechan", Izuku interjected nervously, the ever peacemaker, while waving his hand frantically as he placed himself in between the two.

The green-haired boy let out a nervous chuckle, "Uh- oh! What kind of rescue exercises did you do, Akaneechan?", he asked eagerly as he trembles in excitement.

"Who was your teacher? What rescue situations did you do? Did you try to-"

"Slow down there, superman", Akasuki joke as she placed a hand on his shoulder, successfully halting his ramblings.

Izuku turns away, averting his eyes, as he tries to hide his reddened cheeks.

"Let's see, where should I start first", Akasuki mused as she taps her chin in thought.

After a while she perks up, holding out her pointer finger, "Oh! Our first rescue today was in the Conflagration Zone- which is a whole dome of a city burning and-"

The redhead continues telling the two boys her and her class's experience with the USJ.

Fortunately, she managed to finish the storytelling before they part ways.

"Is it really that time already?"

Akasuki let out a hum, "Time for what?", she asked, albeit absentmindedly, as she continues eating her lunch.

Nevertheless, Mirio beamed, "For the sports festival, of course!".

Tamaki scrunches his nose in disgust as a few rice fell from Mirio's mouth, offering him a handkerchief.

The redhead chokes, startled at the news of the upcoming sports festival. Nejire worriedly offers a glass of water which the redhead eagerly accepted.

Currently, the four of them are eating lunch at Yuuei's cafeteria.

"It'll be okay, Akachan", Tamaki muttered under his breath, offering the redhead a handkerchief, his expression darkening, "We got to do our best so the crowd doesn't eat us-"

"Oh~ I wonder who's going to be the winner this year?", Nejire chimes in, completely ignoring the dark mutterings of the indigo-haired boy beside her.

"Class 1-A got so many pretty quirks this year~"

Akasuki shrugs as she responded, "Well there's definitely a lot of good ones in our batch", she gives Mirio a pointed look.

"Please, don't flash on everyone at the sports festival, Mikun"

Mirio simply let out a sheepish chuckle but didn't verbally respond making the redhead deadpanned.

'Right, what do I expect when his quirk allows him to slip through things even his clothes'

If you're wondering, even if it flashes in your mind for a second. Yes.

Mirio had accidentally flashed his *ahem* to his new female friends when they decided to train together one time.

It was decided that will be the last time they decided to train in an open space.

"Oh! What if you get to be the winner this year, Sukichan?", Nejire exclaimed as she leaned closer to the redhead, her eyes gleaming in excitement.

"I'll be cheering for you!"

Akasuki raised an eyebrow, "Shouldn't you try and be the winner instead of cheering for me?", she counters dryly, "What if you get a kick out of Class 1-A, Nerechan?"

"Eh? Kicked out?", Nejire question as she tilts her head in confusion, the two boys looking at the redhead curiously.

Akasuki deadpanned as she stares at her three friends.

"Seriously?", she asked them with an exasperated look, "Does no one read the Yuuei student manual?"

"We have a student manual?!", the periwinkle-haired girl gasped, covering her mouth with a hand as her eyes widen in shock, "No way! Do we really?!"

Nejire turns to face the two boys, who both shrug and shook their heads in unison.

Akasuki couldn't help but facepalm.

"We do have one", she answered slowly, as if she's talking to a toddler, as she stares directly into Nejire's eyes as she drops the bomb.

"And it says a student, who fails to be admitted in the hero course, have a chance be part of of the hero course which means-"

She smirked as she points at the periwinkle-haired girl and indigo-haired boy seating in front of her, "-there's someone getting kick out"

Both Nejire and Tamaki wilted at that information.

"NO!", Nejire cried out as she slumps on her seat and began wailing as she clings on the hand of the redhead, who trying- and failing- to get her best friend to let go.

"L-Let go of my hand, Ne-!"

"-Noooo! I don't wanna be kicked out! I worked so hard for this-!"

"This is it", Tamaki muttered under his breath, a dark aura surrounding him as he gloomily pokes his fork at the food, "This is how I'm gonna die"

"I... wanna go home!"

Mirio let out a laugh as he pats his best friend's back briefly, completely ignoring the pleas of the redhead beside him, "I'm sure you can do it, Tamaki!"

"Let's aim to the top!", he exclaimed with a bright grin, the indigo-haired boy averting his gaze from the food and to the blonde.

The blonde held out his fist, his grin never faltering.

"We'll be there for each other, remember? So you better do your best and I'll do mine!"

Tamaki unconsciously relaxes as his gaze softened at the brightness Mirio emits.

"O-Okay", the indigo-haired boy muttered under his breath, meekly returning the fist bump.

"I-I'll.. do my best"

"H-HEY! HELP ME ALREADY YOU TRAITORS!"

A shout from the redhead ruined the moment, gaining the attention of the two males.

The two sweatdropped at the scene of Nejire openly wailing, tucked in Akasuki's chest, who kept on pushing her off but no luck. Unnoticed by the two boys, the girls had fallen on the floor.

Not to mention the other students openly gawking, pointing, and murmuring at the two girls on the floor.

"Looks like you're getting a bit floored there, Akachan"

"JUST HELP ME ALREADY DAMNIT!"

"TOP 4?!"

Akasuki averted her gaze, sitting on the sofa in their living room, from the fuming porcupine standing in front of her.

The Yuuei Sports Festival ended with the redhead earning a bronze medal, ranking fourth.

Nejire and Tamaki ranked within the Top 10 while Mirio barely made it in the third round.

'He was such a badass character in the show though'

The redhead wonders how Sir Nighteye trains Mirio and made him a bigshot in what? A year or so?

She'll continue on that thought if she manages to survives the wrath of the angry ash-blonde explosion boy.

"WHO TOLD YOU TO STOP AT TOP 4, HUH?!", he shouted angrily, letting a few small explosions from his hands, "YOU SHOULDN'T STOP UNTIL YOUR NUMBER ONE!"

"I-I think you done well, Akaneechan", Izuku chimes in bravely, appearing behind the ash-blonde briefly before hiding once again when the ash-blonde turns around abruptly.

Akasuki pouted, "Well, it's not my fault my screens didn't explode on time!", she defended, crossing her arms with a huff.

"That fog girl was too fast!"

"Oh, you tried exploding your screens again, Akaneechan?", Izuku questioned, his eyes shining, as he appeared in front of her with a ballpen and notebook in his possession.

Katsuki can be seen glowering scarily behind the green-haired boy, who paid him no mind as he gave his full attention to his big sister.

Akasuki sweatdropped at the comical sight.

'I... It's both terrifying and cute at the same time!'

"Uh, yeah", Akasuki responded, after a few moments, with a nod, "You asked me one time if all my screens fade away, right?", she asked, facing the green-haired boy, who nodded frantically.

"Turns out they can explode and not just fade away", she explained, "I figure it out when I was out training with my friends at Yuuei, I accidentally explode one of them towards Tamakun"

The explosion scared the hell out of Tamaki, who let out a scream like a startled kitten, which Nejire used to tease the poor boy.

Yeah, their friendship progress is... quite something.

[Overload] is the official name the redhead gave to the move since she needs to forcefully overheat and explode them- sending a huge blast to the opponent.

*A rip-off, I apologize, but there isn't anything else better to call it.*

A huge downside of this move is it takes a long time to make the screens explode- since it is a newly found move after all.

Akasuki could only practice until it becomes second nature.

"I think it took about 3 to 5 minutes before I get it to explode?", the redhead pursed her lips in thought before shrugging.

"Well, there's always next time until I improved"

The redhead faced away from the two boys, completely ignoring the dark glare directed towards her from an angry porcupine.

Her attention was averted to the beaming green-haired, shining brightly as he looks at her starry-eyed.

'Is this... the sun?'

"I watched the live footage with mom and I saw how powerful the explosion is! Although it is kinda small much like Kacchan's small one-"

"-Watch it, nerd-"

Akasuki let out a snort at the ash-blonde's comment. Nevertheless, Izuku continues his rambling.

"-But I was thinking, could you control the output of the blast like Kacchan can? or could you control its direction, unlike Kacchan-!"

"-We'll find that with a few experiments", Akasuki cuts in with a closed-eye smile, sweating nervously at the scary expression on the ash-blonde's face.

"H-How about ice cream? Yeah, let's go get ice cream!"

No matter which universe she exists-

Katsuki Bakugo is still a complex character.

"What do you think is the best thing about being a hero?'

Akasuki pursed her lips in thought, contemplating her answer, "I think... it's when I get to save people", she answered.

"I don't know if it's becoming a weird kink of mine or what but I get this warm feeling, despite the exhaustion, whenever I save people in need. You geddit?"

[1] Murasakino. It is the Japanese term for purple.

BONUS SCENE:

"What kind of shitty costume is that?"

Akasuki gives the ash-blonde a 'What-do-you-think-it-is' look as the boy continues to stare at the redhead's drawing.

The two can be seen in the Genji household, sitting by the dining room where the redhead girl is currently drawing her costume and writing some additional details.

Her costume is based on the suit of Black Widow- a full-body black jumpsuit with red streaks on the sides, ankle-high black boots with a touch of red with straps and buckles, black gloves, wristbands, knee caps, and an unattachable hood- just because it looks so cool!

She made sure to include a utility belt- packed with support items she thought she would need, and a holster belt.

No matter what others say, she's gonna be a badass hero with a gun!

The drawing... is drawn as much as the redhead could, to her dismay.

She just prays the agency get it to be modest at least.

Well, she just decided to be more detailed on her description anyway.

Aside from the costume provided by the support company, which she's affirmative their company is on part of, she'll use her quirk for the rest of the details.

For example, a visor.

Re-shaping her screens into a visor is what she'll be able to do easily but to make it work like the one in mind?

It'll take months- maybe even years.

However, there's no type of visor, used for information gathering, will ever be better than her quirk. Thus, it will have to do.

It'll be complicated but she'll have to make it work somehow.

"Like you could do any better", Akasuki taunted making the ash-blonde scowl. He grabbed a paper and pencil from the table before he began drawing.

After a few minutes, he shoved the finished drawing on the redhead's face, who let out a grunt at the impact.

"Pft- HAHAHAHAH!"

Akasuki let out a loud laugh as she stares at the drawing in her possession, her eyes stung, and her stomach began to hurt.

The drawing looks like a chicken's drawing compared to the redhead's.

"Shut up!", Katsuki shouted angrily, his face erupted like a volcano, clenching his fists as he trembles at his seat.

Having enough of it, he snatched his drawing from the girl's possession, much to her protest, and began tearing it up.

"Aw~! Is the great Katsu-kun embarrased~!", the redhead teased as she playfully pokes his cheeks, making Katsuki snarl, looking like a rabid animal, and throw the closest thing he could grab.

An amused smile appeared on the redhead's face as she effortlessly dodges the pencil, much to the ash-blonde's frustration.

"Now, now, be nice Katsun", Akasuki cooed, earning a murderous glare from the ash-blonde.

'Look how cute he is when embarrassed- pft!'

Akasuki gave him a closed-eye smile as she spread out her arms, "Come here and give your big sister a hug, tsundere-kun~!"

A vein appeared on Katsuki's forehead

"GO DIE, YOU SHITTY GINGER!"
