A spin off of the 'Jaune Arc Multiverse.' Team RWBY and NPR, as well with some others, are brought to the temple of the scribes. They are brought there in order to witness the full potential of Jaune Arc. At the same time, learning about a calamity coming to their world and how Jaune Arc fits in all this.

Universe 88

~Temple training grounds~

Jaune swung his blade into the head of a training drone in front of him. Slicing the head in two, vertical. He was currently doing some solo training as his trainers were currently back in their home universe for reasons. He let out a laugh as he put his weapons away, multiple universes. If you asked him that there were alternate universes a day ago, he'll probably shrug it off. Now, however, the whole thing was real and he had no idea how to handle it. More so since he is apparently a part of some great prophecy that has a high chance of him dying in it.

He let out a sigh as he walked to a bench, sat on it and laid his weapons on the floor. He knew that he had a chance of getting killed when he first arrived at Beacon. He wasn't stupid about becoming a huntsmen, he knows the risks. Yet that didn't stop him from trying to become one anyway, even if he died trying. Hell he would be happy if he died knowing that he saved at least one person. That was his duty after all.

But this, this actually got him to worry. This calamity that was arriving to Remnant could literally end his world. He didn't know if he had what it takes to save it, because the prophecy states that he'll die no matter what. Which is what actually scares him, if he is successful then he will die knowing that he saved the world. If he fails then he dies knowing that everyone he ever loved died because he wasn't strong enough.

He rubbed his right hand across his golden locks. He didn't know what to do. He turned his head towards the mirror wall behind him. Jaune stood up and walked to the wall. He stared at his reflection for a good few seconds before taking off his armor, jacket, and shirt. His clothes fell to the floor, he now stared at his naked torso but more specifically the giant scar that adorns the middle of his chest. He glides his fingers over it as to him it was of a reminder when he almost… died. He never told anyone about it, not even his family knew. He sighed as he picked up his shirt and put it back on. He shrugged his thoughts to the side and left the room. He had to meet with Arcanus in a few minutes, apparently there is someone he had to meet.

~Theater room~

Everyone sat down as the projector began to turn on and play. Before it the universe started, the screen displayed the same dragon logo it did before.

"Huh? Guess we're watching this universe again." Yang said with a shrug.

"I guess we are Firecracker." Qrow said as he leaned back and took a swig from his flask.

The Arc parents suddenly felt dread build up as they didn't want to see their son kill other people again. Especially for Adrian's sake, they relaxed a bit as they remembered that Arcanus made it so that their grandson could only see cartoons. Speaking of whom he fell asleep in Terra's arms and his mothers caressed him gently as a blanket suddenly appeared and wrapped around the infant.

"Thank you." Saphron whispered.

After everyone got comfortable in their seats, they all turned to the screen as it turned on.

Jaune walked the woods of Emerald forest, wandering for no reason. Perhaps to get lost, to look for Grimm? He doesn't know, not anymore that least. All he knew was that his life was ruined, all because he faked a stupid piece of paper.

He turned around to see Beacon Academy in the distance. He couldn't go back. He could never go back. He wasn't welcomed there anymore, those he thought were his friends abandoned him. His family disowned him and took away Crocea Mors from him.

~

This information caused many of the blonde's friends and family to look down in shame. Especially Jonathan, Glynda, and Weiss for two different yet similar reasons. Jonathan hung his head low as he hated himself for turning on his son so easily and regretted doing it. 'Aw fuck!' He thought to himself as he felt a sudden headache. He rubbed his forehead in an attempt to ease the pain. This was the fifth headache he has had this week, at least before he was sent here. He made a mental note to take some aspirin when he has the chance. His wife took notice of this and looked at him with great concern as she also knew of his recent headaches. Angela begged him to see a doctor but her husband always tried to shrug it off by saying it's fine.

Weiss meanwhile did the same but because she felt remorse of her original plan to have him kicked out. She thought she was in the right to do so but after watching the universe where she and Arc revealed their pasts to each other made her think. She realized that Jaune was a good person, always willing to do the right thing; like standing up for Velvet when Cardin was bullying her.

Weiss wanted to make amends as she wanted to start over with her Arc, but as friends. She may see Arc in a better way but she didn't see him that way. Though she could guess that Jaune was trying to hit on her as a way to move on from Aurora.

Glynda however was torn on how to feel about this; part of her was glad that Jaune Arc was expelled for faking his way into Beacon but she remembered what Ozpin told her. That she didn't see the potential he had that Ozpin saw. It made her think if she was really a good teacher as she was always harsh to Jaune. Criticizing him as harshly as she could. Yeah she didn't know how to feel about this.

Honestly he believed it was for the best as he never belonged there in the first place. Still, he had no idea why he was out here.

Jaune continued to walk many more miles into the forest before he managed to reach the temple that the first years reached to collect their relics. He smiled as he walked from pedestal to pedestal, placing his hand on the middle one, the biggest one, as he remembered the day teams JNPR and RWBY first met and fought together.

His smile soon turned into a frown as his mind went to the moment they betrayed him.

This made his friends to look on in sadness as this version of them abandoned Jaune for a very stupid reason. They feared as they wondered how many worlds there were where they betrayed Jaune. (Too damn many in my opinion but they always have a nice twist to it.) They all turned to Weiss as she was the one who wanted to kick Jaune out.

The Schnee heiress felt the stares but said nothing. She deserves those stares of disapproval and blame because most likely her counterpart revealed the transcripts to Goodwitch. She hung her head low at this and felt guilty.

She suddenly felt her sister pull her into a hug. "Don't let it get to you. Remember that isn't our world." Winter whispered in her ear.

Her words filled Weiss with small reassurance, which caused her to smile and hug her sister back.

He grew so mad that he broke the big pedestal with an aura infused punch. The piece scattered across the floor as the blonde sighed. He let his temper get the better of him, he knelt to clean up the pieces but noticed something that caught his attention. A small metal box embedded inside the pedestal, this made the blonde look at it in confusion.

Jaune grabbed the handle and pulled as hard as he could, but it wouldn't budge. He let out a sigh before trying again, this time infusing his aura into his arms. With one tug the metal box broke out of the pedestal, causing Jaune to fall on his ass.

The blonde looked at the box in his lap and noticed that it wasn't locked. He was so confused about what was inside but figured it was something that could get him a couple Lien.

Jaune slowly opened the box and saw a silver amulet with purple and yellow gems decorating it in a circle. The middle of the amulet had a big cyan stone in the middle.

This got Ozpin to raise an eyebrow at this. 'Hmm. That would explain why that pedestal was bigger than the others. I need to examine it if it is the same as in that world.' He thought to himself as he drank his coffee. It was drinked empty once more but it magically refilled again. He smiled as he took another sip.

~

He stood up with the box in his hands and placed it on another pedestal. Jaune reached for the amulet but hesitated for a small bit. Part of him wanted to give it to Ozpin or Oobleck, see if they could find out what it is but he decided against it. They gave up on him. Why should he crawl back to them?

~

This caused Ozpin to slump as he felt like he failed his friend and his job to watch over his descendants. He discreetly glanced towards the Arc family who hung their heads in shame. Especially Jonathan.

Ozpin sighed as he turned back to the screen. 'Perhaps I can ensure that this generation of Arcs do not die.' He thought to himself.

He carelessly picked it up and examined it. He was in awe of how beautiful it was and thought he could get a lot of money for it. He sighed mentally as he knew this wasn't his usual mindset, but when his family disowned him he had no money to his name. He definitely knew that no place would hire him due to lack of skills and the fact he was the faker who lied his way into Beacon.

He was brought out of his thoughts as his aura suddenly flared up, causing the amulet stone to glow bright. The blonde freaked out as he got ready to throw the amulet but it was too late. In a flash of light he vanished.

Everyone was caught off guard by what just happened. Well they shouldn't really be surprised as they saw Jaune teleported in with that amulet before. Though now they saw where he got that Amulet. Right in Beacon Academy's backyard.

~Earthrealm~

In the middle of a snowy mountain a flash of light appeared. When the light died down, Jaune was in its place, still in a throwing position. He stumbled forward a bit but didn't throw the amulet. He stood straight and looked around his surroundings.

He didn't recognize where he was and honestly, he was freaking out. He looked back down at the amulet and tried to infuse his aura into it but it didn't seem to work.

"Come on you stupid thing! Send me home!" Jaune yelled as he shook the amulet. Most likely as a way to get to work. "Great, not only do I get kicked out of Beacon but I get teleported to Oum knows nowhere thank to this stupid thing." Jaune growled in frustration before he started to shiver. He looked around to see if there wasn't anything he could find shelter in. Soon enough he saw a temple on the peak of the mountain.

After a few minutes, Jaune marched his way to the temple where he saw many people of various designs and descent. All of them were looking at something, he didn't know what. He carefully moved through the crowd and made it to the front where he saw a man in blue ninja garments. The ninja looked at the crowd and spoke.

"All of you have been brought here at the request of Raiden, so you can all become a part of the new Lin Kuei. However, not all of you are worthy of joining. As such I have agreed with Raiden to oversee this tournament to see whether or not you are worthy. The winner of this tournament will become my personal student." The man started making many people murmur about becoming this personal student.

"So this is when Arc became a student." Weiss said out loud.

"Yeah but Jaune doesn't seem keen on joining them." Blake said as she turned to Weiss. She was a bit surprised that Weiss wasn't talking poorly of Jaune. Perhaps the last viewing caused her to think twice about her decision to rat out Jaune.

Jaune however had no intention of joining this Lin Kuei and made his way to the middle of the arena.

"Listen buddy. I don't know who you are but I need to know where the hell I am." Demanded Jaune.

"I am Kuai Liang. You are currently in Earthrealm. You are here to be Lin Kuei, now I suggest you return to your position." Kuai Liang said.

"What the hell is Earthrealm? Are you telling me that you brought me here?!" Jaune asked as he walked towards Kuai Liang. Who looks at Jaune in confusion and… interest.

'Hmm. It appears that Kuai Liang see the same potential in Mr. Arc as I do.' Ozpin thought to himself as he took a sip from his coffee cup.

~

"I can see you speak the truth of what you say. However, I am not the one who holds the answers you seek." Kuai said.

"Then who has these answers?" Demanded Jaune.

"I will tell if and only if you participate in this tournament. If you win then I will take you to Raiden." Kuai said.

"What makes you think I would listen to you?" Jaune asked, immediately after saying this an ice dagger pressed against his neck.

Qrow laughed to himself at this. He remembers all the times he had to put any of his students in their place especially the ones that think they're tough shit.

~

"Because I am not one to be trifled with, boy." Kuai said in a cold tone. "Since you are the first to step up then you will be the first to kick off this tournament." Kuai said as he pointed to a random fighter to come forward. A tall brutish man came into the arena and got into a fighting position.

Jaune let out at the man before turning to Kuai. The blonde let out a frustrated huff as he got into a fighting position. Usually he was terrible in unarmed combat and would be nervous as hell right about now. But he was so full of anger from the betrayal of his friends and family that he didn't even bother to care. "Fine I'll play your stupid game." Jaune told Kuai.

"Fight." Kuai announced.

The tall man lunged forward at Jaune with a right hook. Jaune simply backed away but a left hook made contact with his face. Causing him to stumble for a bit. Jaune quickly whips his head to his opponent and lets out a growl of anger. Jaune punched his opponent with an aura infused fist. Something he was doing unintentionally. As soon as he made contact, Jaune's opponent immediately fell to the floor in defeat.

"Well that was easy." Qrow said as he took a sip from his flask.

"Kind of feels a little bit like cheating." Tai said with a shrug.

"True but really in our line of work you need to use everything you have to get the upper hand." Qrow said.

"Yeah." Tai said as he looked down with a frown. He hated to admit it but the life of a huntsmen wasn't just killing Grimm. There were times where he and his team had to take the life of another person. Hell because of this Tai really didn't want his daughters to be huntresses. But they were persistent and he reluctantly allowed them to go to signal academy. He just hopes that they're mentally prepared enough for when the time comes to take a life.

Everyone present was completely stunned as an 18 year-old kid knocked out a fully grown man. One of them on the other hand was impressed as she saw someone who can give her a challenge.

Jaune turned to Kuai Liang.

"There. Now can you tell me where I am now?!" Yelled Jaune.

"In due time. But first we will continue this tournament." Kiai Liang said as he gestured to Jaune to head back to the crowd. Jaune let out a groan as he reluctantly did so. He hated that he had to wait but he had no choice seeing that he was stuck here.

Several hours have passed as the tournament progressed. Fighter after fighter have been eliminated as time passed on. Jaune himself participated in a few fights until it got to the last round, it was rough but he managed to hold his own. Not bad for the weakest student of Beacon, though he might have cheated as he doubted any of these people had aura.

"Wait, we skipped all of the fights?! What a load of crap!" Complained Yang as she was bummed that she didn't see how Vomit Boy held his own.

"Yeah! I want to see our fearless leader break their legs!" Exclaimed Nora in annoyance. Ren simply patted her on the back and didn't say anything.

~

"Jaune Arc, Frost. Step forward." Kuai announced. Jaune and the blue haired chick from before, Frost, stepped forward towards him.

~

"Wait, Frost? The blue hair girl from before? Wasn't she like a robot or something?" Ruby asked as she recalled Frost being a robot with the detachable head and what not.

"This is just before she became cybernetically enhanced." Weiss suggested, though she really didn't know why this Frost person became basically a cyborg.

~

"Both of you have proven yourselves to be adept at fighting. However, you are still flawed at your techniques. You Jaune Arc are talented but your skill is lacking, sloppy."

~

"He's getting better." Pyrrha said in defense of her leader. The rest of her team and friends nodded in agreement with her. Jaune may have been the weakest one of them but that doesn't mean he doesn't have skill.

~

"You Frost, fight with procession but are too blinded by arrogance to restrain yourself."

~

"Like someone else we know?" Joked Weiss as she glanced at Yang. Something that the brawler noticed.

"Hey I'm not that bad!" Complained Yang with her arms crossed.

"The time at the cafeteria." Ruby pointed out.

"Or the shower incident." Weiss said.

"The one time when you went to the hairdresser and burnt it down." Blake finished.

Their points caused Yang to 'hmph' at then and turned away. Grumbling about how unfair it was.

"Since you both show potential this battle will determine whether or not you are worthy to be my personal student." He explained.

Jaune and Frost nodded but the blonde really didn't want to be here but at this point fuck it. "Positions." Kuai said.

The two young adults turned to face each other and got into fighting position.

"Ready to lose blondie?" Frost mocked.

"Just shut up and fight." He snapped back.

"Oh feisty." She said.

"Fight!" Kuai announced.

Frost lunged at him with a punch. Jaune quickly sidestepped out of the way and elbowed Frost in the face. Jaune went for a second blow but Frost caught his fist and threw him to the ground. Jaune let out a pained groan before rolling out the way as Frost slammed her fist where Jaune's head was. Ice shards forming where she struck.

Jaune stood up and kicked her in the chest, sending her staggering back. Jaune then punched her in the face with a right hook. Frost retaliated by striking Jaune in the side of his chest.

Jaune lost balance allowing Frost to do a spin kick. Striking his face causing him to fall down. Jaune groaned as he tried to get back up but didn't, he was mentally tired of this shit.

"Is that all you got? Here I thought you were tough shit but you're nothing more than a pansy." Mocked Frost. After saying that she got socked in the face.

"You!" Jaune yelled as he hit her with a left hook. "Shut!" A punch to the stomach. "The!" A right elbow plow to the cheek. "Fuck!" A hit with a right hook. "UP!" Jaune yelled as he hit Frost with an uppercut.

Frost fell to the floor, wiping blood from her mouth. She retaliated by sweeping his legs from underneath.

Jaune fell onto his back hard as Frost lunged at him with an ice blade. Jaune grabbed her arms just seconds away from her stabbing his eye out. Jaune struggled to keep the blade from stabbing him.

The blonde then infused his aura into his legs and kicked Frost far from him. He also somehow managed to grab her ice knife in his hands. However, instead of using it he threw it to the side.

Jaune ran to Frost and punched her as soon as she got up. Jaune grabbed her by her shirt and started to pummel her face in.

Frost quickly retaliated by upper cutting him. Jaune staggered backwards for a bit before shrugging it off. The two traded blows each of them hitting the other. Jaune however knew it would be a matter of time till he can't keep up anymore.

'I really wish that I had proper training.' He thought to himself.

Two threw one final blow to the other, Jaune enhanced his fist with aura and Frost encased her hand in ice. They both punched each other in the face very hard and fell to the floor. Ending their match in a tie.

Everyone was stunned about the fight that transpired before them. They had never seen Jaune so angry, he was always calm and observant in his fights. Yes, he always came up short but he still held a leveled head. They all wondered what their Jaune looks like when he fights only fueled by his anger.

~

Kuai Liang looked on in interest, these two have managed to prove that they were skilled. As well as showing him their untapped potential. He walked towards the two fighters.

"Well done. Though your match has ended in a tie, you both have proven to be worthy to be my personal students." Kuai revealed. This got mixed reactions from the two.

Frost was slightly upset but decided to let it go. Especially since this meant she both gets to be the right or left hand woman to Kuai and can use it as an excuse to getting to know this blonde cutie a bit more.

The ones with crushes on Jaune glared at Frost with daggers. If they could melt any bitches dare touch their Blonde knight. They would do it without a second thought.

~

Jaune however was not happy, all he wanted to do was to find a way home. "Listen here, you told me that you would give me answers if I played your game, I did. So start talking!" He yelled. Kuai looked at Jaune and let out a sigh.

"You are in Earthrealm and given how you spoke earlier, you are not from this realm." Kuai explained.

"What? The hell are you talking about?." Jaune asked in confusion.

"Tell me, how is it that you managed to channel energy into your strikes?" He asked.

"Um, it's my aura. The manifestation of one's soul, those that use it are the huntsmen and huntresses. Everyone knows that." Jaune said, thinking that Kuai Liang was hit hard in the head.

"On any other time he would be right." Ozpin said.

~

"Hmm. Tell me, how did you get here?" Kuai asked.

"I think this weird necklace was what brought me here." Jaune said as he brought the amulet out and showed it to Sub-zero. (Just go with it.) Sub-Zero took it from the blonde and examined it.

"I have seen an amulet of similar design. Tomorrow I will take you to Raiden's sky temple." Sub-zero said as he gave back the amulet. Jaune sighed as he couldn't believe what was happening to him.

"I'm sorry. Is the tournament over?" Spoke a voice from behind him. The trio looked to see a bald man with a dragon tattoo on his face, a very large brutish man with four arm stumps, several masked men in red and black, and a beaten and broken blonde man in chains. Jaune didn't know who they were but Sub zero did.

"Goro, Daegon. What are you doing here?" The cryomancer asked, his gaze briefly looking at Kenshi.

"For the dragon egg you have sealed within your temple." Goro growled.

"Dragon Egg?" Jaune asked as he turned to Frost. Who shrugged in confusion.

"You plan to restore Onaga." Sub-zero said as he figured out their plan.

~

"Wait isn't Onaga the name mentioned earlier?" Asked Blake.

"It is." Weiss said.

"What do they mean restore?" Ren asked in confusion. He and everyone else was also confused by that sentence.

"It is most likely that they plan to resurrect him." Ozpin theorized.

~

"You know your history well, cryomancer." Daegon said.

"Raiden informed me of the egg and how the first generation of Lin Kuei vowed to keep it safe. Especially from the likes of you." He said through gritted teeth.

"Now, now grandmaster let us not get hasty. Just take us to the egg and we let him live." Daegon snapped his fingers and one of his men pressed a knife against Kenshi's neck.

Sub-zero froze still as he was given a difficult decision. However, he noticed Kenshi being oddly calm. This signaled to him that he was planning something, he just needed to give the blind swordsman a chance to break free.

"You won't spare him." Jaune spoke up gaining the attention of everyone. Even the one who held the knife.

"Once we lead you to the egg, you'll go back on your word and kill us." Jaune said.

"Hmm. You're one smart kid. I'll give you the chance to join us right here and now." Daegon offered. However, before Jaune could refuse him, Sub-zero came forward.

"He is not Red Dragon. He is Lin Kuei." The cryomancer said, with defiance.

"Didn't Arc say he didn't want to join them?" Asked Weiss.

"Yes, but this is probably before he decided to join." Blake said.

"Very observant Miss Belladonna." Ozpin praised as he took a sip from his mug.

~

Thus also gave Kenshi the moment to break free. He headbutted the grunt behind him and kicked him down. The blind swordsman then rolled away as Sub-zero quickly fired ice balls that froze a couple of the grunts.

He was then shoulder slammed by an armless Goro, causing him to fall to the floor. The former Shokan prince lifted his leg to squash Sub-zero but Jaune quickly shoved him to the side. Imbuing himself with aura.

Jaune then turned to Sub-zero and gave him a hand, which he took.

"When this is done you and I are going to have a talk." Jaune said in a bitter tone.

"Indeed but for now." Sub-zero said as he indicated to the red dragons coming for them. They then got into fighting positions and began to beat the grunts one by one. Jaune blocked many of the blows as he could thanks to his aura. Though some of them managed to get some hits in. Luckily for Jaune they didn't seem to have aura, so he infused his body with it and did some serious damage to them. After knocking out another grunt Jaune saw Frost trying her best to dodge the sword swings of Daegon. The blonde quickly ran to her.

Meanwhile Sub-zero managed to free Kenshi of his chains and give him back Sento.

"We can not let them get to the egg. Goro believes he could use Onaga's power to restore his arms but it will only revive the dragon emperor." Kenshi explained.

"Then we will." Sub-zero said as he scanned the area to find Goro. He spotted the Shokan going into the temple. The two followed in pursuit in order to stop him.

While that was happening Daegon managed to knock Frost down to the floor. The son of Argus lifted his blade in order to land the killing blow but was tackled by Jaune. Which caused him to drop his weapon.

The two of them fell to the floor but they quickly got up and faced each other.

"You're determined, I'll give you that but it's time to end this little game." Daegon said as he got into a fighting stance.

The demigod swung his fists at the blonde but Jaune quickly stepped back to avoid the blows. Daegon threw a left hook at the blonde but Jaune grabbed his arm and kicked him in the stomach.

"I am going to kill that bastard!" Angela yelled as she saw this bastard hurt her baby. The rest of her family thought the same thing as well.

~

Daegon staggered a bit before lunging at the blonde. He elbowed Jaune in the face and uppercutted him in the stomach. The blonde held his stomach in pain. Daegon was about to knee him in the face but Jaune caught it and tackled the demigod and threw him to the ground. Daegon then flipped back up and got into a fighting position again. Jaune did the same.

However, Daegon surprised him and shot a fireball at him.

"Okay that's not fair!" Nora yelled.

~

Jaune dodged out of the way. Daegon shot another fireball at the blonde and Jaune dodged it once more. Another fireball, another dodge. Another fireball, another dodge. Another fireball, another dodge. While doing so Jaune got closer to Daegon.

Once he was close, Jaune punched Daegon in the face. This caused the demigod to stumble a bit backwards.

Jaune then channeled his aura into his fists and began to rapidly strike Daegon. The blows hit his stomach, chest, and face. Soon after this, Daegon fell to the floor, defeated and bloody.

"If I didn't hate Ren then I would've thanked him for teaching me how to channel my aura." Jaune muttered to himself before going to Frost.

This little mental comment from Jaune made Ren deflate a little bit. He still couldn't believe that this universe's Ren had betrayed him. It was a blow to him as he personally felt like he lost a brother.

He then felt a surprisingly gentle hug from Nora. He laughed, knowing that Nora probably knew what he was thinking about.

'I really don't deserve you, Nora.' Ren thought to himself.

"You okay?" Jaune asked as he helped her up.

"Dandy." Frost said bitterly as she rudely retracted her arm from his grip.

"We need to go after them." Jaune said.

"Why? I joined up to participate in this tournament not to play 'superhero'." Frost said with a scoff but Jaune got into her face.

"We showed up here to not only participate in this tournament. But to protect whatever is inside that temple." Jaune said.

"'We?'" Frost asked with a smirk.

"Just shut up and let's go." Jaune said as he and Frost ran into the temple.

~Inside the Lin Kuei temple~

Sub-zero and Kenshi are currently inside the chamber room where the egg is. The two of them battled an armless Goro who, despite his handicap, managed to hold his own. Goro then knocked them to the ground with a powerful stomp to the ground. The shockwave caused the two to fall to the floor.

After they were defeated, Goro made his way to a giant egg that was in the middle of the room. Once he was close Goro let out a yell as he headbutted the egg. Shaking it for a little bit, but it didn't crack. Goro then headbutted it again.

At this time Jaune and Frost entered the room and saw what was happening. The two quickly ran to Sub-zero and Kenshi, helping them up.

"We must stop him before he cracks the egg." Sub-zero said through pained groans.

"I'm on it." Frost said as she suddenly ran to Goro with an ice dagger.

"Wait, Frost, wait!" Jaune yelled.

Goro turned around to see Frost charging at him with a dagger. The Shokan scoffed as he simply kneed her in the gut.

Frost coughed as she held her stomach in pain. Goro lifted his foot to squish her but Jaune grabbed her out of the way as Goro brought his foot down.

Goro growled as he saw Jaune place Frost to the side and walked up to him. The blonde getting himself in a fighting position.

"You would be wise to flee weakling." Goro snarled.

"Sorry but I'm just too stubborn for my own good." Jaune said as he threw a punch at Goro. The Shokan simply allowed Jaune to do so. Once the punch had connected, the blonde quickly retracted his hand. He felt hot searing pain course through his wrist and flicked it to try and numb it.

"Damn this guy is tough." Tai said in shock.

"I bet I could beat him no problem." Boasted Yang with a cocky smirk.

"I doubt it Firecracker." Qrow said.

"What? You think that I can't handle myself?" Yang asked with a raised eyebrow.

"The ice dude and the blind guy couldn't even beat him. Plus the fact that this Goro could do it with no arms means he's not someone to mess with." Qrow explained.

"So you're saying that I for Shokan't beat him." Yang said with a smug grin. Her pun caused everyone, minus her dad who laughed, to groan.

"Oum damn it Yang." Qrow cursed.

'Fuck that hurt! That was like trying to one a Goliath.' He thought to himself.

Goro then shouldered Jaune away, causing him to land near frost.

After they were down, Goro turned his attention back to the egg. The Shokan then pulled his head back as far as possible and headbutted the shell. The force he put into his blow and finally managed to crack open the egg. Revealing to all that a white glow began to shine through the egg. Goro was in awe as he was close to achieving his goal.

Not a second later a beam of light struck Goro in the chest. He let out a pained yell as he felt the power of Onaga coursing through him. His skin soon began to darkish into a darkish gray hue, his teeth became much sharper, eyes turning yellow and pupils becoming slits, wings and a tail growing from his back, and lastly; his arms growing back in a much more reptilian fashion.

Goro smiled as he now regrew his arms and now has the means to kill that stupid Osh-tekk. However, he felt something wrong and fell to his knees.

"What is happening to me! This wasn't supposed to happen!" Goro yelled out as he held his head in pain.

~

"Hmm. Take note students, no power is worth it because in the end it may be your undoing." Ozpin said sagely. The students of Beacon nodded as they agreed with him. As did some adults.

~

After the light died down Goro was now fully transformed and stood up and turned to the four behind him.

"At last I am free!" Exclaimed Goro, but his voice was much more different.

"That's not good right?" Jaune asked as he turned to Sub-zero.

"No it's not." Sub-zero replied.

"Great." First muttered.

"Bow to me, Onaga, the true emperor of Outworld or die a horrible death!" Boomed Onaga.

~

"Like hell our fearless leader is going to bow down before you!" Nora yelled.

"Yeah! Kick his butt Jaune!" Ruby joined in.

"Sit down you two!" Glynda reprimanded as she used her semblance to bring them back down.

~

"We do not bow to you." Kenshi said as he drew Sento.

"Then death it is." Onaga said as he flew at the group, who jumped out of the way. Onaga punched the floor, causing it to break and dent in on itself. He then turned to Sub-zero, Kenshi, Frost, and Jaune.

The four of them rushed Onaga with the intent to defeat him before he could escape the temple. Sub-zero manifested ice axes and swung it at the Dragon emperor. Onaga simply stepped out of the way, having Sub-zero over step in front of him. The cryomancer quickly turned and swung the axes again. This time Onaga caught his arms and punched him in the face. Sending Sub-zero to the ground.

Kenshi used Sento to send out a telekinetic wave at him. This did cause Onaga to stumble back a bit but he simply grabbed a piece of concrete and threw it at the blind swordsman. Kenshi fell to the floor once the debris struck him.

Frost then lunged at him with an ice katana this time and swung it at him. Onaga grabbed the ice blade and shattered it. He then kicked Frost down.

Everyone grew worried for everyone's safety as it was finally revealed who this Onaga was. And what he is capable of. They also have the feeling that this is only the beginning.

~

He then walked over her and lifted his arms up, preparing to crush him.

However, Jaune, imbuing his whole body in aura, tackled Onaga. The two of them fell to the floor with Jaune on top of him, striking him with aura infused blows.

Onaga was in genuine surprise as he actually felt pain from this pathetic Earthrealmer. However, he recognized that glow and put two and two together.

Jaune was about to hit him with another aura punch but Onaga grabbed his arm and threw him backwards.

"Interesting, I thought the aura users destroyed any means of realm travel. Clearly I was wrong." Onaga said with a dry chuckle.

~

"Paradiso?" Ren asked in confusion.

"Why call Remnant that?" Pyrrha asked.

"Most likely this is what Remnant was called before it was called Remnant." Winter said.

"What makes you say that?" Yang asked.

"Well the theory is that Remnant was once something else a long time ago by ancient civilizations. Paradisum I believe it was called." Winter explained.

"She is correct, for if you think about it Remnant is simply another word for remains. Makes you wonder." Ozpin revealed to all, making everyone one of them think deeply on why Remnant was called as such. Unbeknownst to them is that Ozpin himself knew the true name of Remnant.

"You know about Remnant?" Jaune asked in visible confusion.

"By 'Remnant' you mean Paradiso then yes. You Aura users always stood in my way of achieving Immortality. Now once I regain my throne I will reduce your realm to ashes!" Onaga yelled as he ran towards the blonde.

Jaune quickly rolled out of the way and struck Onaga with an aura infused elbow to the ribs. Cracking only one of his ribs. Onaga then smacked Jaune away with a back hand.

Jaune fell to the floor with a loud thump, the floor below him cracked a little. He groaned as rolled to his side.

Onaga smirked as this Aura user was pathetic than all the rest. He flexed his claws to take his life.

"Please. Someone save him." Jonathan prayed to himself as he hoped that whatever god was out there saved his son.

~

However, before he could, a blast of lightning struck him on the chest, sending him staggering back.

~

"Thank oum." The elder Arc breathed out.

~

"You will not take their souls Onaga!" Raiden called out as he floated down to the floor. Electricity flowing through his body and coming out of his eyes.

"Raiden!" Onaga growled out as he stood straight. "I see that the elder gods have sent their dog to deal with something they themselves are scared of doing."

"I am the protector of Earthrealm and you do not belong here. Be gone!" Raiden yelled as he blasted Onaga with bolts of lightning.

The dragon emperor simply tanked the bolts and slowly walked towards him.

Raiden increased the power but it did nothing. Sub-zero soon got up and fired an ice beam.

The two blasts from Sub-Zero and Raiden combined and actually managed to hurt Onaga for a little bit. Though he still managed to march forward.

~

"Such power." Glynda said in terror. She had no idea what anyone would do if someone like Onaga came to Remnant. Yes there was Salem but the Dragon King is making her look like a puppy.

~

Jaune got up and moved towards the two, he looked on with great horror. This, this was something he has never seen before. The being in front of him was a true monster, even more so than the Grimm. Part of him told him to run, run as far away as physically possible. However Jaune simply gritted his teeth in anger. No. he was a huntsman damn it! It was his duty to protect the innocent from monsters like this.

Jaune got an idea in his head. See a while ago before the betrayal he discovered, while experimenting to enhance his weapon, that he could amplify the effects of dust when he put a little bit of aura in it. With a little bit of research he discovered that it was his semblance that did that. He was going to tell everyone that he unlocked his semblance of aura amplification, but the betrayal happened. So yeah.

Everyone went wide eyed at that reveal. Jaune's semblance is Aura amplification? That should be impossible, the last time a semblance like that was recorded back to almost 80 years. Mere days before the great war actually broke out. Many of the audience members had different thoughts on the matter.

Tai, Qrow, and Winter were impressed. Not many had a semblance of that manner, still having a semblance like that is an achievement.

Ruby and Nora thought it was cool and began to wonder if they could ask Jaune to amplify their semblances. Weiss and Ren felt a sudden chill go up their spines. Though they too wondered what Jaune's semblance could do to theirs.

Pyrrha meanwhile was proud that Jaune finally unlocked his semblance. Well it was a different Jaune but same difference. She only hoped that her Jaune could reach that level one day.

Yang thought it would be cool if she could get Jaune to amplify her semblance so she can hit harder.

The Arc family were incredibly proud of Jaune. Saphron especially since she was the one that had told Jaune to be a huntsman. She hugged her wife and gave her and Adrian a kiss. Terra smiled and hugged Saphron back. Adrian meanwhile was still sleeping and simply squirmed a bit with a smile. Though they were happy, Jonathan let out a sigh. He still was mad with himself for not believing in his son. He needed to make amends before it was too late.

Ozpin and Glynda meanwhile looked at each other.

"Do you believe that his Semblance can help restore Amber?" She whispered.

"It is possible. However, with limited knowledge on Aura amplification semblances, who knows what would happen if he used it on a maiden. Their powers are based on magic, not aura." Ozpin whispered back. The two then turned back to the screen.

Anyways he ran behind Raiden and Sub-zero and placed his hands on their shoulders. The two men briefly looked at him with confusion.

"Just trust me on this." He muttered as he infused his aura into him. It was a huge gamble as these guys already proved that what powers these guys had, wasn't aura based. But damn it he had to try.

Raiden and Sub-zero suddenly felt a rush of energy coursing through their bodies. Their ice and lightning beams became much, much more powerful.

Everyone in the audience simply looked in awe. They had just witnessed what Jaune's semblance could do. And that was with people that apparently had powers that didn't need aura.

'Now my choice is clear. When I see Mr. Arc I will ask him to see if he could use his semblance on Amber. After he's unlocked of course. Though the question is what should I tell him in order for him to agree?' Ozpin thought to himself.

~

"Gah!" Onaga yelled as he felt pain, a genuine pain course through him. He fell to the floor on his knees but he quickly let out a surge of magic. Knocking everyone back down.

Onaga stood up but briefly fell back down and held his side in pain. He let out a growl as he knew he was defeated. So he opened a portal to Outworld and left through him. After Onaga went through the portal and it closed behind him.

The group slowly got back up and saw that Onaga had escaped.

"Where did he go?" Jaune asked in disbelief.

"He has returned to Outworld in order to regain his throne. He must be stopped before he could conquer the realms." Raiden said.

"Then we follow after him." Sub-zero said.

"Indeed but we need the help of the Special Forces in order to stop him." Raiden said.

"I will contact Sonya Blade and inform her of the situation." Kenshi said.

"Inform her that we will come to her base and emerge in Outworld." Raiden said Sub-zero and Kenshi bowed before Kenshi went to contact Sonya and Sub-zero went to check on Frost. Jaune was going to do the same but was stopped by Raiden.

"So it is true. An aura user is here in Earthrealm." Raiden spoke.

"Yeah… I guess you could say that." Jaune said in a hesitant tone.

"You feel that you're out of place. Like you are not home." Raiden said.

"I mean apparently I am in another dimension where freaking monsters exist." Jaune said.

"I understand your confusion Young man. But know this, if you help us defeat Onaga and will ensure that you are returned to your realm." Raiden said as he placed a hand on Jaune's shoulder. Jaune said nothing and nodded.

~

Everyone hoped that Jaune came home but they knew it was for naught. Especially when the first time they watched this, this Jaune wanted nothing to do with them.

~

"I do hope that you reconsider Jaune Arc." Sub-zero spoke as he and Frost approached the blonde. "You still have potential to be a great warrior for the Lin Kuei."

"I am grateful that you think highly of me but this isn't my home. I don't belong here." Jaune said.

"I understand but if you ever change your mind, you are always welcomed." Sub-zero said as he handed Jaune a small box with the Lin Kuei symbol on it. He was confused until he saw Frost having one of her own and opening it. Inside was her own uniform.

Jaune looked on the box he was given and began to think. Letting Sub-zero's words sink in. Did he really want to go home? There was really nothing back home for him anymore, everyone he thought was his friend betrayed him. His family disowned him. And for what? For a stupid piece of paper that revealed to be fake by a fucking racist prick.

~

Everyone at Beacon instantly frowned as they knew who Jaune was talking about. His team in particular all simultaneously cracked their knuckles. All ready to beat the shit out of that asshole next time they see him.

Amelia made a mental note to hunt down this bastard and teach him some manners. Jonathan had the same mentality and had a feeling which family this prick belonged to.

Jaune closed his eyes and let out a sigh. Before looking towards Sub-zero. Who was getting ready to leave.

"Hey." Jaune said, causing Sub-zero to turn around. "You still want me to be a student?" He asked. This causes Sub-zero to smile.

~Special Forces base, Earthrealm~

At a SF base in the desert had many soldiers walking by. Going to complete their tasks and assignments.

In the hangar of the base, a small makeshift gym was set up with a makeshift boxing ring. In that boxing ring, two women were sparring in training gear for boxing. One was of Caucasian descent with blonde hair tied in a ponytail and green/brown eyes, idk. The woman across from her was of African-American (don't @ me) descent with brown eyes and hair. Both of them had grey tank tops, blue camo pants, and combat boots. These were Cassie Cage and Jacqui Briggs. After a while the two stopped sparring and let out exhausted sighs. Cassie and Jacqui leaned against the ropes and began to drink their waters. They also took off their training gear.

"So how was the date with Dylan?" Jacqui asked.

"Egh! Terrible, the creep just wanted me to get in bed with him." Cassie muttered as she took a sip from her water.

~

"Well they can't all be winners." Yang said as all the women in the audience agreed with her. Even the ones with crushes, even though they didn't like Cassie for obvious reasons.

~

"Ouch. Well don't worry you might meet the perfect guy soon enough." Jacqui reassured.

"Maybe but I should just put this dating thing on hold for a while." Cassie said. Jacqui was about to convince her friend otherwise but suddenly a lightning bolt appeared in the middle of the hangar. The two women and any other soldier in the area immediately got up and moved towards the lightning including general Sonya Blade and her ex-husband Johnny Cage.

"Stand down!" She ordered.

"What's going on ma'am?" Cassie asked as she and Jacqui approached her. "Kenshi just contacted me. He informed me of an ancient threat that escaped his prison. He's coming here with Raiden and some Lin Kuei to assist us." Sonya explained.

The lightning then disperse revealing Raiden, Kenshi, Sub-zero, Frost now in her classic uniform, and Jaune. Jaune wore a blue ninja garbe that went over his hoodie, now sleeveless with arm guards and fingerless gloves. A sash around his waist with a tail hanging from his left side. He wore his jeans with armored boots, shin guards, and knee caps. On his face was a blue headband with his symmetrical mask with black vents on the sides, hanging from his hips.

~

Ruby, Pyrrha, and Blake felt their faces heat as they all admired the way their man looked. Blake, in fact, had a nose bleed as her mind drifted to a dirty little fantasy she had. She and Jaune roleplay as the main couple of Ninjas of Love. Particularly the garden scene.

The parents of Ruby and Blake noticed this and had different reactions. Kali squealed in excitement because this to her meant there was a high chance of her getting Grandbabies. The dads however, grumbled and planned to have a talk with the boy. However, they stopped this mentality as they noticed Jonathan giving the two of them a death stare. "Fucking try it. I dare you." He mouthed.

His appearance particularly caught the attention of Cassie. The girl was immediately enthralled by his looks as she saw pink hearts float around him. The look on her face was noticed by Jacqui, who smirked. 'Guess you found the right guy after all.' She thought.

~

The girls with crushes fumed at this. Again this obviously did not sit well with them.

~

The group of five then approached Sonya.

"Raiden." Sonya greeted.

"Sonya Blade. I am expecting that you are ready to move in on Onaga's position." Raiden asked.

"We are." Sonya asked as she and everyone else quickly went to the command center in order to plan their next move. Meanwhile, Jaune turned to Cassie as he felt her staring at him. This caused the girl to look away from him quickly. Making her friend laugh.

Jaune simply shrugged it aside as he continued to go forward. Though Frost looked at Cassie with great jealousy.

~Outworld~

Onaga kicked down the door to his old castle. The Dragon emperor entered his old home and examined the legions of dead warriors standing still.

"To be home once more. I had not been here since that treacherous Shao poisoned me. A shame I was not the one to end his life in turn. Nevertheless I will regain my throne from this Kotal Kahn." Onaga monologue as he made it in front of his throne. The dragon emperor then turned around, facing his dead army. His eyes and hands began to glow green as he began to chant. As he did, the corpses began to reanimate, letting out snarls and growls. Their eyes glowed green.

~

"That's not good." Tai said.

~

Once they were revived, the army turned to Onaga and bowed in front of him.

"My loyal army, you emperor has returned!" Onaga yelled as the undead army soon let out cheers.

~

"Definitely not good." Qrow said.

~

~SF Base~

The Earthrealm defenders were currently standing around a holo table with a holographic map of Outworld. More specifically the location of Onaga's castle, which was not far off from Outworld's capital.

"According to what you told me, this is where Onaga will be at." Sonya said as she pointed to Onaga's castle.

"Indeed and if Onaga has reached his castle then he may have already restored his undead army." Raiden said.

"So are we dealing with Revenants?" Johnny asked.

"No. Unlike the Revenants, Onaga's army are simply reanimated corpses." Raiden explained.

"So his army is just bones at this point?" Jaune asked with a raised eyebrow, with his mask now on.

"It is not that easy to explain. Onaga is much more powerful than Quan chi in sorcery, especially in Necromancy. His army is as dangerous as a Tarkatan Horde." Raiden said.

~

No one had no idea what a Tarakatan horde was but they were surprised by the Necromancy thing.

"So he could raise the dead? Are you familiar with that Oz?" Qrow asked Ozpin.

"I seldom do. However, that form of magic was banned for a reason." Ozpin said.

"How come?" Qrow asked.

"Not only you have to tap on the dark arts in order to use Necromancy but it is also incredibly dangerous. It could take a toll on a user even if they are masters at it." Ozpin explained.

"Ow." Qrow simple said.

~

"Even more so if Onaga can resurrect any of his fallen soldiers during battle." Kenshi added.

"Great." Sonya muttered.

"If that's true then we need to take out Onaga. Without him then the army will fall." Jaune said, surprising everyone.

"It is a smart observation, Jaune Arc. However, Onaga is incredibly powerful, getting near him would prove a challenge." Raiden said.

"Not unless you manage to get him distracted for me to land a fatal blow, or at least one that could weaken him. We all saw how he reacted to the effects of my Aura." Jaune explained which caught the attention of Cassie, Johnny, and Sonya.

"Aura?" Cassie asked.

"Jaune Arc is a inhabitant of the realm of Paradiso. He and others from the realm are blessed by their protector gods Abamut, the god of Light and Rakut, the god of Darkness. Their Aura is similar to your green halo Cassandra and Johnny Cage." Raiden explained.

~

Everyone in the audience was also surprised by this. They all wondered if there were other people with powers similar to Aura. However Ozpin silently drank his coffee as he knew about a group of people similar to the cage family.

~

This caused Jaune to look at Johnny and Cassie with surprise, the latter simply rubbed the back of her head. All while blushing and smiling at him, something Sonya and Johnny noticed.

'I really don't like the way they are looking at each other.' Sonya thought.

~

The fathers of Ruby and Blake agreed with Sonya. They really didn't like the idea of their baby girls dating. Though they kept this to themselves since they didn't want to incur Jonathan and Angela's wrath.

~

'Well, at least he isn't one of those Hollywood dirtbags.' Johnny thought.

~

Angela instantly agreed with Johnny. So far she liked Cassie, she seemed like a good woman for her son. Her mind immediately turns to the image of Jaune and Cassie together, pregnant. She really hoped that her Jaune would give her Grandbabies soon.

~

"So is that how I can hurt him? Because my Aura was a gift from the gods?" He asked.

"Yes, Aura users were considered to be one of the most powerful mortal races within the realms. Even the dragons feared them." Raiden added.

"So all we got to do is get the kid close to Onaga and he just kills him?" Johnny asked.

"Indeed, but we would need the aid of Kotal Kahn in order to gain an advantage over the Dragon King." Raiden said.

"Alright we'll have two teams. Raiden and I will go to Kotal Kahn in order to get aid from him. Sergeant Cage will take another team to Onaga's castle and try to slow him down." Sonya planned out.

"Alright then let's go save the world." Johnny said.

~Much later~

In a forest near the castle of Onaga, a team consisting of Jaune Arc, Frost, Sub-zero, Cassie Cage, Jacqui Briggs, and a couple of soldiers made their way through. They all made their way through the forest, meanwhile Jacqui simply looked at Cassie with a knowing smile.

"What?" Cassie asked when she noticed.

"Aren't you going to talk to him?" Jacqui asked.

"Who?" Cassie asked in clear denial.

"Jaune. I know you've been staring at him all day." Jacqui said.

"Shut up." Cassie said which caused Jacqui to laugh.

~

The girls with crushes on Jaune began to glare harshly at the screen. Mostly directed to Cassie. They did not like her one bit.

~

"Seriously though just talk to him. What's the worst that could happen?" Jacqui asked.

"Well…" Cassie said as she pointed to Frost, who was walking VERY close to him.

"Let me take care of it." Jacqui said as she walked near Frost. She tapped on her shoulder and lied about how she needed to talk to her. The two then walked away to talk.

Cassie let out a nervous sigh as she walked closer to him. Once she did, she simply stared ahead and said nothing. Jaune noticed her and said nothing as well.

~

The girls glared harder at the screen. Their parents and teachers looked at them in a bit of worry.

'Their infatuation with Mr. Arc is seriously troubling. This amount of obsessive behavior isn't healthy.' Glynda thought to herself.

~

"Hi." Cassie said.

"Hey." Jaune replied.

"So Paradiso? Never heard of that realm, what's it like?" Cassie asked.

"Well we actually call it Remnant." Jaune answered.

"Remnant? That's weird, do you know why it's called that?" She asked again.

"Not a clue, we just do. To answer your other question; I guess you can say it's similar to Earthrealm or this place. We have four kingdoms." Jaune said.

"Kingdoms?" Cassie asked in genuine curiosity.

"Yeah: Atlas, Mistral, Vacuo, and finally Vale. It's where I'm from." Jaune said.

"Cool. So what's your home like? Is it fun? Peaceful? Hellish? Advanced? Nice?" She asked once more.

"Depends on who you ask." Jaune simply replied and said nothing more.

"Oh." Cassie said. The two of them continued to walk in silence for a few seconds later. Jaune then broke the silence this time.

"What's your home like?" Jaune asked.

"Oh… sunny beaches, clear blue oceans, clubs, froyo, and martinis." Cassie said with a shrug.

"Sounds nice." Jaune said.

~

"Sounds like my kind of place." Yang said with a smirk.

"Try not to burn down the clubs this time Yang." Ruby said.

"Oh come on! It was one time!" Yang exclaimed but immediately froze as her father was staring at her.

"Is that why I got a bill for damages? For Oum's sake Yang, what were you doing there in the first place!" Tai demanded.

"I…. Um was just trying to have fun." Yang quickly lied. All this did was have Tai glare at her in disappointment.

"When we get home you're in so much trouble." Tai said.

"Oh boy." Yang muttered.

~

"Yeah. You should come visit sometime, you after this is over. If you want to, that is." Cassie suggested.

~

Again the glares intensified at Cassie.

~

Jaune was about to respond but Sub-zero spoke up.

"We are here." Sub-zero said as everyone stood overlooking a hill. Below them was the castle, massive in its size yet it still held strong despite the long passage of time.

"Let us continue forward." Sub-zero said as everyone made their way to the castle.

~Inside Onaga's castle~

The group entered the courtyard entrance and slowly and cautiously moved in. Special Forces aimed their weapons at any and all empty allies and doorways. The Lin Kuei members stood on guard as they listened closely for any movement.

They approached the entrance to the throne room and entered only a few inches in. To their shock it was completely empty.

"Didn't Raiden tell us there were a bunch dead guys here?" Frost asked.

"It would seem that Onaga has already restored his army." Sub-zero said.

"Great." Cassie muttered as she took out her communicator. "Sergeant Cage to general Blade. Onaga has already reached his army and left. We're heading to your location in order to regroup." Cassie said.

"Negative. You have to locate them and mark their position. We need to know how many we're up against." Sonya replied.

"Copy that." Cassie said before turning to everyone else. "Alright everyone let's move out. We need to find these bastards before they can make their move." Cassie ordered, her comm was still on. The soldiers agreed and proceeded to make their exit. However, Jaune felt something off.

~

All of Jaune's friends instantly knew the look on his face. The blonde always knew something was, even before Blake and she was a Faunus. Like his senses were heightened more so than a Faunus. Though that was only when they went on practice missions. They didn't know how Jaune did it, and everytime they asked him, Jaune would simply shrug it off.

~

"This isn't right. Something is definitely off, no way Onaga would leave like that. Especially when we're in his own home." Jaune said.

"Maybe he got bored and left?" Suggested Frost.

"No, Jaune is correct. Something is amiss." Sub-zero said.

Suddenly a loud screech is heard as dozens of Onaga's undead soldiers ambush them. Several soldiers were quickly killed by swords and spears.

"Shit! Ambush! Everyone huddle up and fire in all directions!" Cassie ordered, as she and all SF soldiers began to fire their guns. Mowing down several of the undead. While that was happening Cassie accidentally dropped her comm.

"Cassie? What's go-" The communicator was destroyed mid-sentence as an undead warrior stepped on it.

Meanwhile Jaune, Frost, and Sub-zero were currently fighting in hand to hand combat. Sub-zero and Frost easily dispatch some of them with their ice weapons.

Jaune however, was having a bit of a hard time as he was weapon less. Though he did manage to steal a sword from one of the undead. Jaune slashed at his foes, dismembering and decapitating them. He let out a yell as he decapitated one more soldier.

"Yeah get them Jaune-Jaune! Break their legs!" Nora cheered as she got up from her chair.

"Nora, sit down please." Ren said as he let out a groan.

~

After the soldiers were killed a loud thud was heard in front of them as Onaga landed to the ground. Everyone quickly had their guard up, ready for a fight.

"I am surprised. Not many can stand up and defeat a small fraction of my army." Onaga said with a smile. "You will serve me well once you are dead." He said before he flew towards them. This caused everyone to jump out of the way, however some soldiers weren't lucky as they were crushed to death by Onaga. Cassie and Jacqui fired their rifles at Onaga, but the bullets simply bounced off.

~

"Oh come on! Bullets don't work on this guy!" Yang yelled.

"That is so unfair." Joined in Ruby.

Everyone in the audience agreed with the two sisters.

~

The dragon king walked towards them, killing several more soldiers on the way over. Several by clawing out their guts and the rest by crushing them to death.

Onaga was moving closer to the two girls with the intent to kill. However, Jaune sent a flying aura infused kick to the chest.

"Argh!" Onaga yelled as he fell to the floor. The dragon king soon got back up and saw Jaune, his body now glowing white, standing in front of him. In a relaxed fighting stance.

"Let's end this, you overgrown lizard." Jaune said.

"You insolent little worm!" Onaga roared as he swung his claws at Jaune. The blonde simply stepped back. Onaga swung another missed punch allowing Jaune to uppercut him with an aura fist. Jaune then struck him with a plow to the stomach. Another punch to the chest. A kick to the stomach. A left hook to the face. A right hook. Jaune was about to punch him once more but Onaga used one of his hands to grab his fist and threw him across the hall.

"Argh!" Jaune yelled out.

"Jaune!" Frost yelled before she ran to him. However, Onaga quickly smacked her to the side as he was headed to Jaune.

Jaune saw the Dragon King lunge at him and rolled out of the way. Onaga embedded his two right fists in the pillar in front of him.

He then ripped his arm out of the pillar and turned to Jaune. However, bullets soon made impact with his body as he flinched. The turned to Cassie and Jacqui firing at him,

He growled angrily as ran to the two at high speeds. Once he was close Onaga lunged forward and struck the ground. The shock wave caused them to be knocked to the side.

Sub-zero quickly threw ice shards at Onaga, while sliding close to him.

Onaga batted the shards away as he grabbed Sub-zero by the throat and slammed him to the ground.

Onaga knelt over the cryomancer and flexed his claws. Ready to kill him.

~

"Take that you overgrown lizard!" Nora yelled as she cheered on her leader. Her friends did too as they waved Arc flags they got from somewhere.

~

However, before he could Onaga felt a blade stab into his back.

"Argh!" He roared as he stumbled forward, trying to hold his wound. He turned to see Jaune with his hand glowing white as he held a blade in his hand. The blade was also glowing white, covered in blood. His blood.

Onaga growled in anger, flexing his wings and flew out of the temple. Leaving a massive hole in the wall behind. Jaune saw this and sighed, the bastard had gotten away.

Jaune then walked towards Cassie and helped her up. Once he did she accidentally stumbled into his arms. The two felt their faces heat up for a bit.

"Um… you okay?" Jaune asked.

"Yeah." Cassie said.

The two stared at each other for a couple of minutes before Frost broke it off.

"Could this wait?" She asked annoyed. Her eyes turned and glaring at Cassie, who glared back at her.

"Right." Jaune said as he looked between the two. 'What is with them?' He thought to himself.

Everyone familiar with Jaune simply laughed. They guessed his denseness was consistent in all universes.

The crushes meanwhile were happy that Frost broke up their little eye to eye moment. Though now they have to worry about Frost now.

~

~Outworld Capital~

"Cassie? Cassie?! Damn!" Sonya cursed.

"Is everything okay?" Johnny asked in worry. As did Raiden and Kenshi.

"Her commlink is offline." Sonya said. Johnny's face became grim as he had no idea what to say in order to comfort her.

"Have faith Sonya Blade. I am certain that they are alright." Raiden said he then turned to see three people approaching them.

"So it is true. The Dragon king is free." Kotal said as he, D'Vorah, and Reptile approached the group.

"Yes, like I had said before, Onaga has been resurrected. I hope that you will aid us in defeating him." Raiden pleaded.

"After another form of mistrust? Had you told us of the dragon egg then I would have sent my warriors to secure it." Kotal said with venom in his voice.

~

"I get the feeling that this happened before." Qrow said.

"Perhaps but right they need to focused on stopping Onaga." Glynda said.

"Easier said than done." Qrow remarked.

~

"Hey it was perfectly fine where it was. We had no idea that Goro would go all Curt Conners and unleash him in order to grow his arms back." Johnny argued.

~

No one understood what thatmeant and moved on.

~

"That does not excuse you to withhold this information." Reptile hissed.

Raiden was about to open his mouth and speak when the sounds of battle caught their attention. All seven of them quickly looked out of the balcony and saw the undead army attack and butcher the army of Kotal.

"By the elder gods." Kotal muttered.

Suddenly a loud explosion was heard as Onaga had crashed through the roof and stood across from him.

"I am here for my throne." Onaga said as his eyes glowed brightly.

"Well shit." Qrow cursed.

~

~Outworld Market~

Jaune, Frost, Cassie, Jacqui, and Sub-zero arrived at the market place thanks to the portal device from Cassie. Once they exited the portal they saw it in pure chaos as Undead warriors ransacked the city.

"We need to get to Onaga and stop him." Cassie said.

"What about the people?" Jaune asked.

~

"That's our Jaune alright. Always putting the people before himself." Blake said with a smile. His friends agreed with Blake as indeed Jaune has a true heart of gold.

~

"Me and Frost will try to hold them back as best we could." Sub-zero said as he gestured to Frost to follow him.

"Good luck." Jaune called out. After the two had left to fight, Jaune, Cassie, and Jacqui ran into an alley that led to the palace.

~Kotal's palace~

Kotal Kahn fell to the floor in pain as Onaga threw him and the others around like rag dolls. With everyone laying on the floor in defeat.

~

"Damn it. Can anything beat this guy?" Qrow asked in disbelief.

~

Onaga walked towards him but Raiden teleported in front of him.

"Ha!" Raiden yelled as he shot a streak of lightning at Onaga's chest. The dragon king stumbled back a bit before walking through the lightning.

Onaga soon got close to the thunder god and grabbed him with his lower arms. He then began to beat Raiden with his upper arms.

"Argh! Argh! Argh!" Raiden yelled as blows upon blows landed on him. Onaga smiled as he ceased beating Raiden. He then grabbed the thunder god's limbs and began to pull.

Everyone in the audience winced at the sight of this. Getting your limbs ripped off before you die is no way to go.

Yang for some reason rubbed her right arm. She couldn't shake the feeling that something bad was going to happen to her. She quickly brushed those thoughts to the side as she thought nothing of it.

~

"Aaaaahhh!" Raiden yelled. Onaga smiled sadistically as suddenly he felt a blade slice open his back. This caused him to drop the god and stumble forward. Onaga turned around to see Jaune, Cassie, and Jacqui behind him. Jaune still has the blade he took earlier.

"You will pay for this!" Onaga roared.

"Ready?" Jaune asked.

"Oh yeah." Jacqui said.

"Born ready." Cassie said.

The three of them ran towards the Dragon king and he ran to them. Once they were close enough, the trio began to strike Onaga with blows to the chest and face. All of them struck while Jaune was really the only one doing damage. Onaga tried to hit them back but they were too fast for him and always dodged his attacks.

Eventually he had enough and Grabbed Jacqui's fist and flung her into Cassie.

~

"Damn. This guy just won't quit." Yang said.

~

Sending the two flying to the floor while Jaune dodged the attack. The blonde quickly got into a sword stance.

"Today is the day you die Aura user! No one will help you now." Onaga snarled.

~Insert Mortal Kombat theme here~

Onaga swung his right fists to the blonde but Jaune simply stepped out of the way. Onaga went for another swing and missed. Jaune quickly infused the blade with his aura and sliced one of Onaga's arms. He quickly jumped and sliced down on the Dragon King's face.

Onaga roared out in pain and anger as he held his bleeding face. He growled in anger as he rushed him. Striking him with the elbow, causing Jaune to stagger. Onaga proceeds to strike him blow to blow on the stomach.

"Carugh!" Jaune coughed out as some blood spat out of mouth. He fell to his hands and knees, coughing up more blood.

~

Angela felt tears slide down her face as grew worried for her son. Jonathan brought her in a hug and rubbed her back gently. Though it did little to comfort her.

~

Onaga raised his arms to crush him and quickly brought them down.

Luckily Jaune rolled out in time and quickly got up. Jaune swung his sword with more aura infused into it and with much more force. Chopping off one of Onaga's hands.

~

Everyone was caught off guard by it. The students especially since most of them aren't used to this violence.

Saphron and Terra were really glad Adrian couldn't actually see what was happening. That and plus he was currently asleep.

~

"Argh!" Onaga yelled as he held his bloody stump where his hand was, kneeling. This gave Jaune an opening as the blonde quickly ran to him and chopped off one of his horns. Jaune then sliced across his face once more as well as Onaga's shoulder.

"Argh!" Onaga yelled in pain. He swung at Jaune once more but Jaune countered by cutting off another hand.

Onaga roared in pain, damn these Aura users! They were the only race in the realms that stood a chance against him. Jaune was about to lob off his head but Onaga quickly grabbed the blade and used his strength to snap the blade in two.

~

"Shit." Qrow cursed as he remembered the many times his weapon broke. Oum he hates his semblance so much.

~

"Shit." Jaune cursed as he looked at the broken blade. Onaga then struck him with back hand causing Jaune to stumble back. He quickly recovered as he dodged one of Onaga's punches. Jaune then punched Onaga with an aura fist. Onaga cried out and swung a fist towards him. Jaune dodged it and punched him again, this time in the face. Onaga tried to counter one more time but Jaune kicked him in the face. As soon as his foot made contact, Jaune's aura entered into Onaga's body, coursing through it. Onaga fell to the floor yelling in agony.

"What did you do to me?!" He asked as he struggled to get back up.

"Honestly I have no idea but I'm glad it's working." Jaune said as grabbed his broken blade and stabbed Onaga in the heart, imbuing him with even more aura. Onaga stumbled back as he held his head in pain. Jaune's aura started to envelope Onaga's entire being.

"Aaaaaahhhhh!" Onaga yelled as he was engulfed in a white light. Jaune covered his eyes from the blinding light. Once the light had died down Onaga was now defeated and was back to being Goro, this time dead for good.

~

"He did it." Spoke out Jonathan.

"He really did." Angela said as she leaned into her husband.

~

Meanwhile on the outside Sub-zero and Frost were fighting the undead army. Both of them were ragged and tired, on the brink of fatigue. When suddenly the undead warriors' eyes went dim and dropped dead for the last time. Once the army had fallen dead, everyone cheered in victory.

"He did it." Sub-zero said as he knew Jaune had stopped Onaga.

~

"He really did." Angela said with great pride.

~

Back inside the palace, Jaune stood over the dead Goro. He glanced at his bloody hands, this was the first time he took a life. Jaune knew he had to do it eventually but he hoped that it never had to happen, but it did regardless.

~

"Kid took it better than most of us." Qrow said.

"Yeah, I still feel regret about that mission." Tai whispered.

"Yeah. It was bad business all around." Qrow said in sorrow.

"Well I don't. The bastard had it coming." Jonathan growled out.

"Jon I know you had it out for him-" Tai spoke but was cut off by Jonathan.

"That fucker murdered my brother for defending a group of Faunus. He deserves no sympathy from me. For all I care he can burn in hell." Jonathan said.

~

He relaxed himself as he ran to Cassie, while everyone was getting back up.

"You okay?" Jaune asked.

"Yeah." Cassie said as she saw no sign of Onaga and only saw Goro. "Did we win?" She asked.

"Yes. Yes we did." Jaune said as he briefly glanced at Goro.

~Much time later~

Jaune stood in front of the Lin Kuei temple as he stood in front of Raiden and Sub-zero. Johnny, Sonya, Kenshi, Forst, Cassie, and Jacqui sat down and watched the ceremony.

"Jaune Arc. You have proven yourself a worthy warrior and a great protector. We are honored to have you as both an ally and a friend. We are forever grateful." Raiden said as he gave Jaune a medal.

"Even more so, you have proven to be worthy of the Lin Kuei clan." Sub-zero said as he bowed. Jaune returned the gesture and the room the medal. As he did, everyone clapped their hands in celebration.

~Later (for the last time.)~

Hours passed as Jaune stood outside, leaning against the rail. He glanced at the amulet that brought him here. He wondered why it brought him here, was it to protect this realm? He didn't know.

"You still feel conflicted." Sub-zero said as he walked towards him.

"Yeah. It's just I still hadn't processed what happened. After the ceremony, Raiden told me that this Amulet was made by the Brother gods. The creators of Remnant. He also told me about how they abandoned us and severed all ties to the other realms. To think that the Grimm became much worse because of some old witch who wanted to watch the world burn." Jaune muttered.

~

Everyone not familiar with the secret war (No not that one) simply looked on in confusion. They heard it mentioned before but they didn't know what to make of it.

Ozpin and his inner circle however, froze at this. This Jaune is now aware of Salem and appears to not take it well.

'I am already second guessing my decision.' Ozpin thought.

~

Sub-zero nodded as he leaned on the rail and stood close to him. He listened to what his student had to say. "When I was a kid, all I wanted to do was fight for my people against the Grimm and defend the defenseless from other threats like bandits and terrorists. However, my family refused to allow me to achieve this goal. They didn't want me to get killed but it didn't matter since they disowned me anyways." He spat out.

~

The Arc parents flinched as they once again were reminded of their greatest mistake.

~

"Why?" Sub-zero asked, feeling bad for the young man.

"Despite my family's interference, I still manage to get into a huntsmen academy. A place that trains people like me but I had to fake my way in. It was stupid but I desperately wanted to achieve my dream of being a huntsman. Not for glory but to be a hero. I always thought of the huntsmen as noble and just." Jaune let out a dry chuckle.

~

All of the huntsmen and the students tenesed up at this. The headmasters knew about that stereotype, they really wanted to do away with it. However, they went against it since they knew many people would just leave if they knew the truth right away. They needed their students to figure it out for themselves. It was cruel but necessarily.

The students were currently in thought. They all knew that this profession was dangerous but worth it. However, they did slowly realize it wasn't what they hoped for. Especially when the likes of Cardin and his cronies were allowed in.

~

"However, I learned the hard way that they only care about their reputation and the status being a huntsmen gives them. A racist prick by the name of Cardin Winchester found out about how I got into Beacon and blackmailed me into being his lackey. I hated it but I couldn't do anything, then one day I saved his life from a Grimm. I expected for him to be thankful but instead he claimed the kill for himself and revealed my fake transcripts to everyone. The worst part about it was that the people I thought were my friends abandoned me. My family disowned me because I brought shame to the Arc name. Fucking hypocrites." Jaune spat out.

~

Jonathan and Angela looked down in shame as they had failed as parents in this universe. They only hope to avoid this fate with their Jaune. Especially Jonathan, he really wanted to make amends as soon as possible.

Saphron hung her head low in shame. She worried greatly about her relationship with her Jaune, she hoped it wouldn't turn as bad. She felt Terra embrace her tightly.

"It's okay. Remember this isn't our universe." She whispered.

"Thanks." Saphron whispered back. However, that little sorrow fest they instantly perked up at the name of the bastard to blackmail Jaune. Cardin Winchester. Fucking Winchester.

"Of fucking course that bastard's son did that. Typical of those fucking Winchesters." Jonathan growled out, showing off his canines. Yes canines. I'll let you think about it.

~

"These 'friends and family' are not worthy of you." Sub-zero said in a comforting tone. Jaune looked at him.

"Long ago me and my brother Bi-Han had been taken from our home as children. Forced to become members of the Lin Kuei. We swore to each other to watch one other but over time we had drifted so far that he had become an entirely different person. I tried to be like him, an honorable warrior, but by then I had fallen down a dark path." Sub-zero spoke as his mind drifted to when he had to fight Bi-Han when he was reborn as Noob Saibot. Even the time when he was a Revenant.

~

Everyone felt sympathetic to Kuai Liang. Especially Qrow as he himself had to deal with the actions of his sister. Including the entirety of her clan.

'Guess we're on the same boat huh.' He mentally cheered to himself and Sub-zero as he took a sip from his flask.

~

"I'm sorry." Jaune apologized.

"You have nothing to apologize for. What is past is past, there is no changing it." Sub-zero said. "However, what I am saying is that you and you alone have the choice to make your destiny. What you choose now is up to you."

Jaune drank in his words and looked at the amulet in his hands. Once again he made the same choice he did earlier. The blonde gave the amulet to the Grandmaster. Sub-zero nodded at his decision and took the amulet.

"What's past is past, there is no changing it." Jaune repeated. This caused Sub-zero to smile as Jaune officially decided to join the clan.

"Come, let us rest. Your training will begin tomorrow." Sub-zero said.

"Yes Grandmaster." Jaune replied as the two of them went inside. What happens next is yet to be written. The screen soon turned black.

After the screen had turned off, everyone stretched their arms as they now know a little bit more information of the Jaune Arc of this universe.

Though his friends were currently thinking about the choice this Jaune made. Throughout the first part of this entire viewing was that Jaune wanted to get back home but chose to stay there. They could understand him wanting to stay and help others, but it didn't sit right with them. As it indicated how much their counterparts hurt this Jaune.

What also didn't help was that the girls with crushes on the blonde frowned at how Jaune and Cassie reacted to each other. They knew that this universe's Jaune was dating this who-they mean Cassie and that's fine. What made them worried is that their Jaune might have his heart stolen by another woman. As Arcanus really didn't explain what role they play in this calamity that Jaune is a part of. Yes this an alternate universe and doesn't really match theirs but they couldn't shake the feeling.

All three of them then felt a shiver go up their spines. Their minds telling them subconsciously that it has already happened.

~Time Displacement Dojo~

Jaune let out a yell as he swung his sword at his opponent. Said opponent, a blue ninja with a mask and a hood, caught the blade in between his hands and threw it to the side. The ninja then punched Jaune in the stomach, hard. This caused Jaune to hold his stomach as he threw up in front of his opponent.

"Oh shit, sorry. I forget that you're not used to this type of training." The ninja said as he took off his hood and mask, revealing another, slightly older, Jaune Arc. The only difference between those two was that the ninja Jaune had short spiky hair. The other Jaune, from universe 88, stood by the 'original' Jaune as he patted his back.

"Ugh! No it's not your fault. I'm just not giving my all." Jaune said as he wiped his mouth.

"Still, you have time to sharpen your skills, especially in this place. Hell you managed to land two hits on me. Not many beginners can boost that." The Jaune U-88 said as he tried to cheer up his counterpart.

"That's the thing. I can't let mistakes like that happen. Especially since I'm a part of this great Prophecy." Jaune said as a small penguin came into the room with cleaning supplies. He then took a seat on a nearby bench, Jaune U-88 followed suit.

"I know you're scared about what may or may not happen but you can't let that consume you." Jaune U-88 said.

"How do you do it? How do you keep calm under pressure, especially when the world is at stake? I know I'm nervous as hell about it." Jaune asked his counterpart, causing him.to sigh.

"Originally I just let my anger guide me, I really didn't care about my wellbeing. Especially when my friends and family abandoned me for faking my transcripts." Jaune U-88 began to explain.

"Ugh! Don't remind me." Jaune said as he still couldn't believe that there were so many universes where his friends and family betrayed him. He could only wish it didn't happen to him, but knowing his luck the chance was very high.

"Yeah. I was just so consumed by it that I lost who I really was for a short while. That was until I met my master and my girlfriend, that was when I realized that they are the reason I fight. They are the reasons why I fight for a world that isn't even my home, because I couldn't think what would happen if I lost them." U-88 finished.

Jaune looked at him with respect before speaking up again.

"You must care for them very much." Jaune said.

"I do. Kuai Liang taught me to channel my emotions and not let it misguide me. He was like a father to me. And Cassie… Cassie taught me to live my life and open my heart to others." U-88 said. "What I'm saying is to remind yourself why you fight and who you fight for."

Jaune let his words sink in as his mind flashed to his sisters, his mother, his friends, his father (reluctantly), and her. He smiled as the short time he knew her made him genuinely happy. He was enthralled with her, with how kind she was and how beautiful she is; with her raven locks running down her shoulders and face like marble.

"Want to tell me her name?" Jaune U-88 asked with his own smile.

"I don't know what you mean." Jaune said in clear denial.

"I know that look. So what's her name?" The ninja Jaune asked.

"Nem. Her name is Nem." Jaune said with a smile.

The video had the writer for the MKX comics explain what he and the comic team planned to do if the comics were going to continue instead of being cancelled.
