Hey guys, Flipkicks here, and today I bring to you a new chapter for "The Vigilante" thank you for checking out the story and what you all thought of the previous chapter.
Seems that a lot of you guys want to see Miruko being paired with Ichigo in this story. This chapter will introduce another new character and will be the one to hunt Ichigo down beside the police, and the Villians. She will be the one to see whenever or not she deems him a valuable ally or a villain. In this story, while Vigilantes keep an eye out for Heroes if they stray off the correct path, I'm putting special police that keeps an eye out for the vigilantes in case they do anything bad.
This chapter will also introduce Ichigo's main fixer and the task force that is hunting him.

The Hunt Begins
One Week Later
It has been one week since Ichigo fought against the masked vigilante Stendhal and he had to lay low since it's been all over the news about him making his 'debut' as a Vigilante, even though he was merely trying to do the right thing. The police haven't found any leads to him nor could they figure out the type of sword that he cut off Stendhal's nose.
He would also take on the job as a cleaner for Marie's home since he didn't have much of a choice with him having one good arm at the moment. It was his way of paying his 'debt' to Marie for allowing him to stay at her home until he finds a way to live on his own. Of course, things haven't been going his way since the police are trying to figure out his identity. He learned that most Heroes all have licenses and he honestly didn't think that they would need a license to be Pro Heroes. He thought that it was for the 'greater good' like most heroes that he would watch as a kid but turns out you need to go to special schools here and have a license.
If they don't have a license, the police have the right to arrest him or something, which he found very stupid in his opinion.
Right now, Ichigo trying to see if he can move his right arm to little success. He got the idea that his fight against Stendhal must have hit a nerve in his arm.
'Way too sloppy...' He criticizes himself for losing movement in his arm, 'Guess a year of not fighting against Hollows must affect me...' Ever since the Blood War against the Quincy's on his world, Ichigo somewhat 'retired' from active duty and was set to graduate from his high school and was about to head into college but guess not. For the most part, there are Soul Reapers in Karakura Town that have taken over his duty since he has given so much in his early years in high school.
As he continues cleaning parts of the home he is under, he can hear one of Marie's adopted sisters on the piano playing a tune (K Project: Assembly Piano) while Marie is talking on the phone with someone. Seems like Marie is happy that one of her friends is calling her about something.
'Still, at least I can move my fingers...' He moves his fingers, still feeling something. 'Don't know what ligament he got managed to get me and stopping me from moving my arm. Maybe a nerve?'
"Ichigo!" He hears Marie from downstairs and her footsteps coming up. "I got some good news!" He can hear her voice being more chipper. "One of my friends says that she can give you a new arm so to speak!"
"Really?" He didn't think that someone would be able to give him a cybernetic arm.
"Yeah, there are support heroes that focus on making gadgets for the heroes that prefer the action." Marie begins to explain some heroes in training don't have the Quirk for combat and they would focus on helping the other heroes. "She's known for making some good cybernetic parts in UA."
"UA?"
"UA High is the top school for heroes in Japan. If you are familiar with comics from America, think of Avengers Academy or Xavier Institute for the gifted in Marvel comics." While not familiar with these schools in American Comics but he has heard of them in his world, so at least there are some similarities.
"Hm..." Ichigo wonders if her friend might get in trouble for aiding him since isn't he basically got warped into this world. "She won't get caught?"
"As long as she changes a few designs on the arm, I'm sure that she won't get caught."
"What's her name?" He asks her, adjusting the sling.
"Kururu Sumeragi.
Police Station
"Seems that this one is very cautious..." The general says to herself, still having no luck on finding this new masked Vigilante. "No word on him for a week since his debut..." She has been going through the reported files of his debut last week and no one has been able to find any new details. The news media has been on their backs about this new mysterious Vigilante but they could only state that they have no new information about him.
"General Blade." She looks up from her paperwork to see the officer in charge of this station, "I have some news."
"Yes sir."
"Due to lack of information about our new guest, you'll be in charge of this operation: Case Zero." He hands her numerous profiles that are more suited for this case, "Each officer will be reporting to you about their findings and what Heroes will be helping you as well. There will be several units but they will again be reporting to you. There will be a Hunting Unit, a reconnaissance unit, and the Control Base."
The first is profile is Mirai Sasaki, Hero Name: Sir NightEye, while his Quirk is limited, his ability of Foresight should be able to help them track his movements for the day. He will be the brains of the operation while Miss Blade will be the one leading the force to capture.
The second profile is Seri Awashima, Quirk: Blade Beams, she can focus her energy on a sword, that is specifically made for her, and use her energy into a large beam-like attack or other moves such as an Energy Net for example. She will be leading the hunting unit. Recommended by Sapporo Police.
The third person is Saruhiko Fushimi, the stealth master and a lover of throwing knives. He'll be the one observing specific locations. Leading Reconnaissance Unit. Recommended by Kyoto Police and worked with Awashima in the past.
The fourth person is her own daughter, Cassandra 'Cassie' Cage, Quirk: Green Glow. Her Quirk allows her to use to either create an afterimage of herself in her attacks or increase her strength, when in danger, the color would turn red, increasing her strength and endurance to a superhuman level. She can also use her Quirk in her weaponry, mainly her pistols on her hips. She is part of the Hunting Unit.
"In case he managed to defeat them, Endeavor or All Might are open to help."
"Very well sir, I'll start this right away." The leading officer takes his leave and Miss Blade begins her work, "And so the hunt begins."
Streets of Tokyo
1 Hour and 30 Minutes Later
Ichigo and Marie left their home to head out and meet Kururu. Marie told him that they will be meeting her around UA High and she'll start taking measurements on his arm so she can get to work.
"By the way Marie,"
"What's up?"
"You and your siblings all have the 'Persona' ability right?" She nods her head, "Mind sharing what it means?"
"Basically it's a mental power so to speak and I can 'summon' beings from different mythologies like Eastern European or American or Chinese culture and so on." She brings out her book, "My Compandiem stores my Personas so that I don't suffer a headache. My main Persona is Kaguya-Hime, based on the local legend."
"Ah, and your siblings have their own main Personas as well."
"My Oldest sister Margaret's main Persona is Yoshitsune, Ardha, Helel, and Cu Chulainn. Elizabeth's mains are Thanatos, Surt, Thor, and Metatron. Theo's mains are the Archangels Uriel, Gabriel, Michael, and Raphael. Lavenza's mains are Lucifer, Seth, Bugs, Susano-o, and Hades."
"Geez..." He didn't know that they can carry these imaginative known figures in their heads or those books.
"We do have to hold a bit back since we don't want to cause property damages or hurt anyone unless provoked." Ichigo took a note in his head not to mess with them.
"How long you have known Kururu?" Ichigo asks her, deciding to change the subject.
"She's my best friend." She replied instantly, "I've known her since we were six years old and she's a real techy person." She then shows him a picture of the two together, Kururu is a young teenage girl of average height with long light-colored purple/pink hair that goes down to her back and has some sides of her hair sticking up, which she can't keep smooth. Her friends call it cute. She usually wears her Tool Toul To outfit or her school uniform and has a hairpin at the top of her head in the shape of an X.
"Whenever it comes to technology, I trust her judgment and how to fix it."
"And she'll make a cybernetic arm for me?" He didn't know if she would help him since he's basically wanted at the moment.
"She was hesitant but after hearing your point of view, she's willing to help but she will have to change some things from the final product."
"That's fair, let's make sure that we don't stand out." She nods her head and the two continue walking through the streets of Tokyo.
Seems that things have been quiet since his debut and people have been wondering who is it under the mask. There is still some construction work being redone from what both Stendhal and Ichigo have done. They see some kids wearing their favorite heroes outfits or accessories and having a great time playing Hero while their parents continue watching their kids and hopefully not hurting themselves.
For some reason, Ichigo begins to wonder about what happened to his friends during the Blood War. Could his friends and family be transported here or somewhere else? He wonders about Orihime since he recently started to become close to her.
'I'll find a way back home. No one will get in my home to find a way.'
I have your back King.
'I know, thanks...Zangetsu.'
A couple of minutes later, Ichigo and Marie walked by UA high and they see her friend sitting on a bench, working on a pair of roller stakes.
"Kururu!"
She turns her attention to where her name was called and sees her best friend and Ichigo approaching her.
"Marie-chan!" She's happy to see her best friend and the two approaches the support hero in training. "And you must be?"
"Ichigo Kurosaki, the apparently new Vigilante."
And that ends the chapter guys, Ichigo meets his fixer while the police are assembling their task force.
Since this is the setting in the MHA series, should some Bleach characters be part of the story?
Those asking about why I haven't been updating as much, the simple thing is that work has been busy especially for the hospital I am in and there are some 2nd strain variations of the COVID-19 and no I am healthy and have gotten both my shots. Things have been crazy for the past couple of months so please be patient with me writing new chapters out for this and my other stories.
