Ch. 5: Kurasumēto kara no kaunseringu

Sunday.

The scene shifts at Heights Alliance where Class 1-A is assembled as it was breakfast time, and nearly everyone is there, as food is ready and breakfast meal is served, which Mineta looked ready to dine in, with Kaminari also getting ready to eat, but Iida scolded the two for being too impatient, saying that the class should eat together and not leave anyone behind.

Mineta and Kaminari just sagged as Iida continue to berate the two and reminded them that as first years representing UA Academy, they must set a good example and not give off a bad impression.

"You two should serve as model students of UA Academy!"

"Yes…"

"Yes…"

"Learn the concept of comradeship! Never go first without waiting for your classmates!"

"Yes…"

"Yes…"

"You got that?"

"Yes…"

"Yes…"

Soon the rest arrived and assembled at the dining table and everyone looked ready to eat their breakfast when Uraraka noticed that two are missing here, which the others took notice, and realized who the two that Uraraka meant.

Asui then wondered what happened as the two classmates, Midoriya and Yaoyorozu, are usually the first to arrive every time the class have breakfast, and there Todoroki sensed the reason for this and made it known to everyone, which they realize why, especially after learning what happened during the undercover raid, which the syndicate used support items to make Midoriya and Yaoyorozu do porn actions and have their actions recorded.

Jiro and Ashido expressed worry that Yaoyorozu is probably traumatized by what happened, while Asui and Uraraka feel the same way about Midoriya, guessing that he is blaming himself for causing himself to indirectly violate Yaoyorozu even though it was due to the syndicate's actions.

"Looks like Midoriya-chan is taking it pretty hard…"

"Deku…"

"He probably blames himself for what happened…"

"We already told him he is not responsible…"

"You know Midoriya, Ochako-chan…"

"Then we got to convince him."

"I agree."

"Then…"

Iida and Todoroki stood up and volunteered to try talking to Midoriya and convince him to stop blaming himself, which Uraraka agreed and urged the two to try their best to persuade him to forget about the incident and move on forward.

Todoroki nodded and assured to Uraraka that he and Iida will do all they could do snap Midoriya out of his suspected melancholy, with Iida stating that it will be his turn to help Midoriya after he helped him snap out of his own melancholy following his encounter with Stain, and Uraraka said she will put her trust in him and Todoroki.

"Iida-kun…please…"

"Don't worry. We will talk to Midoriya."

"Try not to overdo it."

"Noted."

"Just be gentle."

"We will."

"Then we leave things to you, Iida-kun."

"Right."

As the two boys went to Midoriya's room to try talking to him, Jiro and Ashido decided to go talk to Yaoyorozu, with Uraraka coming along to see if she could help in cheering the vice president of Class 1-A down and regain her confidence, which Jiro and Ashido agreed, seeing that Uraraka might be able to help convince Yaoyorozu to get over the trauma they believe she is experiencing.

"Yes, please come along."

"You might help us."

"I will."

"Okay. We're off."

"We got to help Yao-Momo."

"Me too."

"Then off we go."

"Right."

"Right."

As the five students went upstairs, the rest wondered if Iida, Todoroki, Jiro, Uraraka and Ashido would be able to convince Yaoyorozu and Midoriya, seeing that it won't be easy as Midoriya felt that he violated Yaoyorozu and is probably ashamed of himself, hence it now lies on how the others will convince the two that neither of them is responsible for what they went through.

"I feel bad for Midoriya and Yaoyorozu..."

"Me too…"

"Could Iida and the others be able to pull it off…?"

"I hope so."

"Best we can do is place our trust in them…"

"Right."

"Let's wait here then."

"Okay."

At Midoriya's room, after not getting a response following some knocking on the door, Iida and Todoroki entered and saw Midoriya sitting on his bed, looking depressed as he is still blaming himself for what happened during the raid, and Todoroki mentally sighed seeing that his classmate is taking it hard and now is in a slump.

Iida can also relate as he too underwent similar situation when he was distraught upon learning of what happened to his elder brother Tensei, leading him to a vengeful obsession which in turn uses his first internship as a reason to hunt down Stain.

It was through Midoriya that he snapped out of his foolishness and brought him back to his senses. Now Iida felt that this is now the right time to repay Midoriya and is determined to help him get over his depression, as well as to get him back to his usual self.

"Midoriya…we come to check on you…"

"Are you okay?"

"…"

"You should stop blaming yourself."

"Iida is right. It's not your fault."

"…"

"Please, Midoriya! You got to snap out of it!"

"Everyone is worried about you."

"…"

While Midoriya is silent and unresponsive, Todoroki gently urged him to stop blaming himself, stating that the syndicate is to be blamed thus he has no responsibility in what happened to Yaoyorozu, and said that no one got hurt and that the kidnap victims were saved, which Todoroki said is what matters and what really counts.

Iida agreed and said that while what Midoriya and Yaoyorozu experienced was quite bad, it was all part of the risks taken when training to become a pro hero, and said that he is sure that Yaoyorozu doesn't blame Midoriya for what they went through.

Todoroki agreed and tells Midoriya that Yaoyorozu is taking the bigger brunt and said that he might be the only one to help Yaoyorozu, and urged Midoriya to stop taking the blame on himself as he reminded him that he, like everyone else, is aiming to become the top hero.

"Remember…it was you who brought Iida back to his senses…"

"…"

"And it was you who snapped me out of my personal melancholy."

"I…"

"Now it is you who is experiencing what Iida and I previously went through."

"Todoroki…"

"You are aiming to be a top hero like us. Overcome what you went through. We are here to help. We can do this together. We can do this."

"Todoroki…"

The words slowly brought Midoriya back to his senses and started to weep, feeling ashamed of being selfish, yet Todoroki and Iida assured to him that what he did isn't bad and tells him that what mattered is that Midoriya and Yaoyorozu did not suffer any injuries and that none of the victims are seriously hurt, adding that the syndicate is put behind bars and will remain there for a long time.

"Midoriya…"

"There, there…"

"…"

"Pull yourself together, Midoriya…"

"Todoroki-kun is right. Shed your tears. You did not lose anything."

"…"

"Come now."

"Our classmates are waiting…"

"…"

Seeing that Midoriya has recovered, Todoroki tells him that they should go see Yaoyorozu, believing that Midoriya might help convince her to get out of her emotional slump, and Midoriya realized that he wasn't the only one feeling depressed, and resolve to help Yaoyorozu recover and get her back to her usual self, which he stood up and gets ready to leave his room.

Iida sighed in relief as Todoroki nodded and the two boys followed as Midoriya left the room, and there the two boys decided to follow him and see if he could help the class vice president bring her smile back to her being.

"Looks like Midoriya is back to normal."

"Yes, it appears that he has."

"Glad things worked out well."

"Indeed. I was worried."

"So did I. "

"Now all that is left is Yaoyorozu."

"We better see if we can help."

"Right."

At Yaoyorozu's room, Jiro and Ashido were trying to cheer Yaoyorozu up as they assure to her that what she went through won't have any lasting effect, and said that at least it wasn't one of the syndicate members who violated her, hence she should stop feeling depressed and should move forward as they must face any challenges.

Uraraka agreed and tells Yaoyorozu that even Midoriya is feeling bad because he felt that he couldn't protect Yaoyorozu because of the syndicate's actions, and tells her that the rest of Class 1-A is worried for her and Midoriya.

It took almost a minute before Yaoyorozu slowly recovered and used her willpower to get over her depression, and there she thanked her classmates for helping in cheering her up, which Jiro, Ashido and Uraraka said it is nothing.

"Sure."

"No problem."

"Glad we can help."

"We're in this together."

"We are Class 1-A. We're heroes."

"We need you, Yao-Momo."

"Yeah, you're the vice rep."

"So let's go…"

By then Midoriya came in and stared at Yaoyorozu's direction, though he is still feeling shy, he mustered the courage and asked her if she is okay, offering to help her, which Yaoyorozu blushed at hearing this seeing that Midoriya went out of his way just to help her, and she thanked him while saying that she is okay now and that there is nothing for him to worry about.

"R-really…?"

"Yes."

"…"

"I'm okay now. Sorry if you got worried…"

"It…it's okay."

"Are you okay as well?"

"Yeah…I'm okay now."

"…"

Midoriya just nodded though he felt that Yaoyorozu wasn't fully recovered yet he just agreed with her as the other girls cheered on as they believed that both Midoriya and Yaoyorozu are okay now and they urged the two to join the rest of Class 1-A in having breakfast, and pulls the two teens out of the room saying that they are all behind schedule.
