At the end of the docks leading down to the water, a criminal was joining his buddy in a rowboat. "Knocking over that yacht was a piece of cake!", the black beanie criminal said to his buddy, who just wore a red baseball cap, the two shared a bit of laugh.

While the black beanie was turned the red caped man looked over as soon as he heard something. As soon as he got close enough a grey, webbed fish like hand grabbed him by the face and pulled him overboard, startling the other man. He looked over to see Lagoon poking his head out of the water, he gasped and rapidly climbed up the latter again.

The crook made it onto the wooden boards of the docks and started running, with Lagoon just casually swimming keeping up with his pace. Before leaping onto the board walk, dripping with water.

The oil however spilled out and made a convenient circle around him, however one of the live wires whipped out and but accidentally lights a fire, trapping Lagoon. "Gotta love a good ol' fashion fish fry!"

Lagoon simply facepalmed, of course if he didn't have his water tanks he'd be in some trouble but he has them. Quickly punching a hole through the boardwalk, he leapt down into the water. The crook grinned before walking off but soon after Lagoon comes up underneath the criminal and throws him into a concession stand.

A few couple of minutes, they had recovered the other criminal and shoved the two in the police car. "I don't care what people say. You circus freaks are okay by me.", a cop patted Lagoon.

"Uh yeah. Sure.", Lagoon said before back flipping back into the water.

The Rustbucket was driving off to its next location, however Gwen noticed something. "Zombozo's traveling circus of laugh? Cool!", she said excitedly.

Max chuckled a little bit. "I haven't been to the circus since I was your age, sounds like fun, wouldn't you think so?", he asked them.

"I love the circus!", Gwen said a childish smile on her face.

"That's because you belong in one.", Ben stated with a cheeky smile on his face, before being flicked on the forehead by a passing Alex.

"Of course I'm not the biggest fan of circus'. I don't see the harm in goin.", Alex shrugged as he walked to the passengers seat.

"Circus' are for kids.", Ben said crossing his arms, Gwen just looked at him bewildered. Once he realizes how dumb he sounded, he immediately sat up. "I mean it's- kinda late?"

"Oh that's a crock of shit.", Alex laughed at Ben's excuses. In fact he found them understandable but would rather mess with him. "It's a 3 to 1 dude, your arguments don't matter."

"Oh man.", Ben sighed, a small head of sweat rolled down his forehead.

The three of them arrive to the Circus, and it's very crowded to say the least. "Huh, looks like the whole town's here for this.", Max said putting his hands in his pockets. Ben appears to be distracted, he keeps avoiding looking at the large build board of who is known as 'Zombozo'.

"You guys think it's sold out?", Ben asked, successfully hiding his nervous tone.

"I honestly wouldn't be surprised.", Alex said taking in the sheer amount of people. Before a light turned on.

"Step right up and see the fingerless freak of nature, who's strength knows no bounds! Thumbskull!", the Barker said aloud, introducing who is known as Thumbskull.

Thumbskull is a hulking figure and his size often intimidates others, his muscles are larger than any human head and he was towering. He wore a black tank top, a purple belt, and black pants striped with purple. As his name implies, he has a giant toenail on his otherwise bald forehead. He had been carrying a metal pole the length rod, but as thick as a metal bat before bending it effortlessly over his neck.

From what Alex and Alice seen, Max could probably bend that bar with his index fingers.

Thumbskull tossed up the boomerang shaped pole into the air, and the barker continued. "And presenting Frightwig, when this beauty lets down her hair, no telling what could happen!"

A red tendril caught the bent pole, Frightwig has pale skin and black paint on her cheeks and the back of her head. She wears a black tight-fitting jumpsuit with yellow stripes on the arms. She had five orange-red tentacles on her head and also wore flat shoes. She has olive green eyes. Her tentacle like hair started to bend the bar into a pretzel and tossed it up.

"And next is the freak who's breath is as vile as his attitude! Acid Breath!", the barker introduced the final Circus Freak. Acid Breath has wrinkly, pale skin. He has red eyes with different-sized pupils, and little bits of straight black hair poking out of the top of his head. Most of his teeth are missing and his gums are green. His outfit is black with bright yellow stripes on his arms and he has a little bit of a hunch back. His jaw seemingly unhinged and he breathed out green gas, this gas didn't go far, in fact it just went to the bar and immediately started melting it.

"Gross.", Alex and Gwen said with equally disgusted looks on their faces.

Ben had wandered off from the scene to just chill somewhere, however he found a small tent. He walked over and peeked through the crack."HAHAHA-Howdy folks! Are ya ready to laugh?", said Zombozo in a very stereotypical clown like voice, he looks like a clown with red hair and pale skin, he wore a grey and white jumpsuit with three buttons, his jacket was dark blue and light blue, his sleeves were cyan with black stripes with two cyan circles on each stripe, a blue nose, a dark blue and black top hat with a big cyan ball, black shoes and black gloves. "Perfect! You're gonna knock em dead.", he said to himself in the mirror with a sudden... grim tone, before licking his lips with a long snake like tongue.

Ben immediately turned around and acted like he saw nothing... Nope, he's not gonna deal with that. Before bumping into Alex. "You okay man? You've been acting kinda weird since we got here."

"I'm fine.", Ben shrugged his concerns off, being met with a raised eyebrow from Alex.

C'mon guys, the shows about to start.", Max said gesturing to the larger tent.

~

The light above in the rafters activated and shown over the barker again. "Ladies and gentlemen! Children of all ages! The circus of laughter is proud the present, the Saltine of Smiles! The Prince of Laughter! The Grim Tickler himself! The star of our circus: ZOMBOZO THE CLOWN!",he said as he moved to the side.

As per usual clown routine, a small pink car drove in, the driver side door opened up and out stepped Zombozo. For some reason everybody laughed, Alex was just... unsettled. The pink car behind Zombozo came to life suddenly and drove off and turned around to face him. The clown looked surprised at first before smirking and tauntingly egging it on, the pink car revved its engine as soon as Zombozo pulled out a red cape, the car sped at him but like a bullfight, as soon as it came in contact with the red cape it exploded into confetti, everyone laughed except Alex.

"If you love clowns then this is the place to be! You're gonna die laughing.", Zombozo said as there was a strange machine behind him, the orbs on it started glowing a light blue. "That's a Zombozo guarantee!"

"Welp, Imma go get some popcorn.", Ben said abruptly to his family of three and walked off, confusing his grandfather and cousin, but they let this slide and let him go get it.

Alex sighed before getting up. "I'll be back in a bit, gotta make sure Ben doesn't blow shit up.", he said as he left.

"I was never really good at math as a kid, but I do believe I have your un-divided attention!", Zombozo said not noticing him leave or he just didn't care, the crowd continued to laugh. "So full of life!... For now.", the clown said the last part quietly to himself.

Ben ran out of the tent as soon as he got down, he ran down the empty pathway that was once filled with people. "There is nothing funny about clowns.", the 10 year old said to himself as Alex patted his back abruptly, causing Ben to jolt for a second. "Sheesh, you scared me."

"I do what I do best.", Alex said jokingly, before the two heard a crash nearby, he went and hid behind a car, and peeked his head over it.

What he saw was... well it didn't surprise Alex but surprised Ben. Thumbskull has smashed the glass to a jewelry store and started to scoop up the valuables. Acid Breath simply let out his hot ass breath and melted the glass of the car and ripped out its radio. Frightwig used her tendril like hair to rip out an ATM from the wall, money flying everywhere as she did this. "It's payday fellas!"

"Ben, go find some place to hide. I'll take care of this.", Ben nodded and ran off to find a secure place to hide. Alex slid deeper into the car he was hiding behind and activated the Omnitrix. "Hope you don't mind me joining.", he muttered to himself as he slammed down on the Omnitrix.

Acid Breath spun around, looking around the place. "You guys hear something?"

"Huh?" Frightwig questioned. "Hear what?"

"Must've been the wind," Spidermonkey joked, as he dangled from a loose piece of web above their heads.

"Yeah, could've...HEY, WAIT!" Acid Breath yelled, before looking up.

Frightwig sent her tendril hands at the spider monkey, who evaded them with ease. Acid Breath exhaled a mighty puff of acid smoke at Spidermonkey, who jumped away and webbed his and Frightwig's face. Of course, that barely did anything to Acid Breath; while Frightwig struggled to pry the webbing off of her face, Acid Breath melted away the web like it was nothing. Spider-Ape expression drooped.

"Oh, come on!" Spidermonkey complained, hanging off of a lamppost. Thumbskull grabbed the lamppost and shook Spidermonkey off, catching him in his big hands.

"Gotcha," Thumbskull smiled, squeezing Spidermonkey to the point where he felt like he would burst. Acid Breath ran off somewhere, but Alex was more focused on the pain at the moment.

"OW!" Spidermonkey screeched. "Ok then, buddy! Let's see how you like this!" And then, his the retractable spider legs on his back unfolded, digging the sharpened edges of themselves into Thumbskull's hand. Thumbskull screamed in pain as the damaged tissue swelled.

"THAT HURT!" Thumbskull began going on a rampage. He began smashing almost everything in sight, which worked to Alex's advantage. Alex shot a flurry of webs at Thumbskull, binding him in a mess. With acrobatic skill, Alex landed a perfect triple pike on Thumbskull's face. Thumbskull fell over with a dull thud.

"And that's how it's done," Spidermonkey said to himself. Someone applauded.

"Impressive show, kid!" Acid Breath commented sarcastically. "Ever think of joining the circus?"

"And interact with people like you? I don't think that's really good on my heroic image.", Spidermonkey countered with a snarky smile along with a monkey chirp.

Acid Breath shrugged. "Well boss, I tried."

And from out of the shadows, the ringmaster appeared. Zombozo looked unnervingly happy, something that nearly broke Alex out of his confidence. But then he remembered. "This man is a literal clown! What's this guy gonna do? Whoopie cushion my seat?"

"This better be good," Zombozo frowned, "I don't like being interrupted when I'm eating."

"Eating." Alex thought.

Zombozo carefully examined the alien. "Y'know, when I heard about these alien heroes in the news, I thought it was some kind of joke! Especially this one!" Zombozo guffawed. "What, are you some kind of...Spidermonkey?"

"I mean... yeah. Technically," Spidermonkey said, matter of factly in between his monkey chirps. "I figured it was obvious."

Zombozo broke down laughing his obnoxious trademark laugh! You're just a walking joke, aren't you, kid?"

"Hey, at least I have enough dignity not to wear some crazy clown makeup.", Alex shot back. "What's the worst you can do?"

"Oh, you want to seeeeee?" Zombozo suddenly became deathly serious. His body began to crack and contort, increasing in size. Spidermonkey backed away, suddenly feeling like he was in a particularly nasty horror movie. Ben on the other hand, who currently watched this, turned away to throw up.

Zombozo's fake clattery teeth became snarled and sharp. His skin decayed and grew what kind of looked like scales on every where sans his face. Even worse, his pale make up no longer looked horribly fake...it looked saggy, almost like a Micheal Myers mask. His eyes became large and maniacal, pupils growing and shrinking at random times. His sclera turned black, and staring into his eyes, Alex imagined this was what being dragged into hell felt like.

"Let's make this quick, kid!" Zombozo laughed maniacally as he sped at Alex, his stupid clown shoes honking as he ran. Spidermonkey could barely comprehend what was going on when Zombozo's massive fists honked menacingly as they collided with his frail form, sending him flying into the air, and onto a car roof. Alex groaned, as Zombozo clasped his hands together and slammed them down on the car, flattening it...but he could feel this hard pain, digging into his hands...stinging, no, stabbing!

Zombozo yelled as he pulled away, a notable series puncture wounds in his hand. Spidermonkey wasn't a flat purple pancake underneath Zombozo's fists, but instead the nigh-unbreakable Crazy Diamond. Sharp, crystalline quills poked out from his body, a few stained with greenish red blood. Alex grunted as he stood up, and brushed himself off.

"Fine, we'll have to do this the hard way. Diamond hard."" Alex shrugged, as he shot some crystals at Zombozo. Zombozo shielded himself with his large hands, diamonds digging into his skin. (Alex had to admit, it felt good to do that.) Zombozo began to slowly shrink and cower, cursing and barking for his Freaks to retreat.

"Yeah, no." Alex taunted, as he formed giant crystalline walls around them. "Try getting out of this, Krusty!"

"Oh, I love a good challenge!" Zombozo's creepy clown face lit up with excitement, as he pulled out a smoke bomb with a hyper realistic clown face painted on it. He hurled it at the ground, and a deep purple haze suddenly flooded the area. Alex coughed and struggled to navigate through the smog, while Zombozo and his gang disappeared into thin air. When the haze had settled, Alex was alone with in the walls.

"Gone," He frowned, as he lowered the walls. Alex felt his body shake as he reverted; what the hell was up with Zombozo? It took him a few minutes to even move a muscle. The entire battle was so fucking surreal, a type of weird Alex hadn't really encountered and which unnerved him like nothing else. That also begged the question; was there MORE stuff like that in the world?

Ben pulled him by his collar. "Dude, we gotta get grandpa and Gwen!", he exclaimed as Alex nodded.

As they walked back into the fairground, the lights to the circus died down, and fish could hear weak murmurs and footsteps leaving the place. What followed was a rather dreary image. From Alex's memory, people entered the place happy and jovial, ready for a good laugh / distraction from whatever life threw at them. They left the fairgrounds sullen and blank faced, shambling about like zombies in a low-budget horror flick. They had a strange feeling that refused to go away; that maybe something was stolen from these people, something intimate and intangible and vital to their lives.

What felt like a few minutes was an hour or two that passed by once Alex woke up again, he crawled out of the wreckage only to find... the circus was gone. He looked around and found Max sitting on a step, laughing slightly as his grandson ran up to him. "Grandpa!", Ben shook him, knocking him out of his trance.

"Oh, hey guys, heh, where'd you go?", Max asked him with a smile still on his face.

Alex didn't know if he was joking or not. "Where did we go? Where the fuck did the circus go?", this... seemed to make Max stop smiling.

"I'm not so sure...", Max said turning to see multiple people sitting on steps, holding their heads as if they were in pain and others just walking about before turning his attention back to his grandson. "I remember laughing... it was funny, too funny now that I t..think...", Max cut himself off by falling asleep, before Ben shook him back away. "Sorry... I just feel a little tired is all."

"Wait... theres Gwen?", Alex looked around for her, his fist clenched so hard you could probably see one of his veins.

After Max gained some of his bearings, they immediately started their pursuit. "I'm guessing Zombozo was keeping everyone distracted with the show while his Circus Freaks were raiding everyone blind, but why kidnap them in the first place?", Alex himself had figured it out, he knew this was correct as it was the only answer.

Ben looked at Alex. "Maybe for something big?"

"I don't know... but we'll catch that clown.", Max's old face looked... tired, not smiling anymore.

"Heh... who would be afraid of a stupid clown?", Alex said as Ben was scratching his neck nervously and constantly adjusting his glasses.

Max turned to him. "Ben, what's wrong?"

"Promise not to laugh?", Ben said as he received two nods to keep it between them. "I'm afraid of clowns... for some reason I always had been. They're just so... creepy and unsettling."

"Everyone's got their own fear Ben, I know when I was a boy... I used to be so terrified of heights.", Max said as he remembered the times before he was a Technician and smiled fondly at them. "My father... he told me to man up finally, so I did one day, I climbed the top of the water tower, sometimes you have to scare your fear away. And as a Technician... that's essential.", Max said as he started to feel his eye lids go heavy before falling asleep at the wheel.

Ben grabbed his seat as Alex took the wheel, the older boy used whatever knowledge of driving he had picked up from his dad to attempt to keep the RV straight, but it quickly careen into the forest. "Ben! We need an anchor.", Ben quickly nodded and reached down. "C'mon!"

"I'm trying here!", Ben yelled back as he slammed Max's foot on the brake, right as Alex turned the RV. The two exhaled. "Grandpa, are you okay?

"I feel... so sad.", Max said waking up at this. "So... very sad.", the old man looked at them.

"What happened in the Big Top after we left?", Alex said as he grew increasingly worried. Max thought back to when he left, he remembered laughing a lot but suddenly felt... something leaving.

"Alex... I think Zombozo robs people more of just their possessions... he steals their happiness until there's nothing left.", Max said as he fell back asleep.

"And he's got Gwen.", Ben realized as Alex had Tetrax's hoverboard in hand.

"C'mon, we gotta go!", Alex said as the two went off to the circus.

Alice woke up in an unfamiliar area, something similar to what you would call 'Leatherface's U-Haul', before being dropped out and landed into a sandy ring.

"Mornin' doll!", Zombozo said, emerging from the shadows. Alice immediately sat up and backed away, earning a frown from him. "Oh now that's not nice, you're gonna hurt this clowns lil ol heart. If it were still there.", he said as he smirked again.

"What the hell are you?", Alice said, she felt so weak and exhausted, the hell happened to her in the first place?

"Me? I'm Zombozo the Clown of course... but it was never like that always.", Zombozo said with a smirk, Gwen noticed just how... weird his face looked. Almost as if he was wearing a mask. "Herbert J. Zomboni, a soulless fellow that lived a life with nothing to feel, an empty pit of a man... that's when it happened! My birth! Some freak accident with some type of cannon or whateves gave me this new ability, the ability to feed off others!"

While he said that her eyes widened. "I discovered more about this later on, discovering I can take any emotion and empower myself with it. But, fear is the best. Those afraid taste so much better then laughter, which is why I didn't kill you before.", he said before cackling, his eyes glowed a bright yellow. "Tell me kid... what are you afraid of?", he said, taking off the face of his first victim and revealed his disfigured, horrifying face.

At another location with the circus tent pitched up, the Circus Freaks are packing up the money that they've stolen. "Fucking- Oh my god! Stop dropping it!", Frightwig yelled out to Thumbskull.

"Ah shut up you bitch! It's not like you've got any grip on those tiny hands either!", Thumbskull shot back at Frightwig who looked irritated.

"Would you dipshits shut up already and keep this going?", Acid Breath said with a calm tone as he was doing what he was assigned.

Ben and Alex were hiding behind a few crates, with Alex looking at Ben. "Go find another way in, I'll hold these guys off.", he said giving Ben a thumbs up. Ben laid down on his back as he slowly floated away on the hoverboard.

They turned once they heard a crate fall over, seeing Alex standing there with a smug expression.

"Huh, unsurprisingly Frightwig is the most attractive of them all.", Alex said as Frightwig smiled a little bit but shook it off.

"What're you doing here kid? Here's your ticket?", Frightwig said smirking a bit.

Alex laughed at this. "Ah what's the matter? Think you can't take on lil ol' me?", he said as he leapt up and dodged Acid Breath's acid spit. He smirked as he kicked him in the face, sending him stumbling back. "Too bad you're not fighting just little ol me.", he said as he walked behind one of the taller boxes, a green light erupted. Soon after, an oddly alien looking baseball machine broke out of a crate.

"I dunno what you are, but imma tear you apart!", Thumbskull rushed at him, only to get shot down by a barrage of baseballs and knocked unconscious.

Alex laughed at this. "Come one! Come all to see the worlds largest dehydrated turtle!", his voice sounded the same, however it had the effect of Alex talking through a synthesizer. He turned and shot Frightwig, who simply dodged gracefully.

"That all you got freak?", she said crossing her arms.

"Like you're one to talk.", The alien said within it. He peeked out and tired a few more at her, she deflected these and caused the machine to duck down and fire another one at her foot, but made her wrap herself in her own hair.

Acid Breath was next in line, getting on all fours and spitting out thick acid. The alien used his Baseball shooter to move away quickly and dodge the melting crates. "Didn't your mommy every tell you it's not polite to spit?"

"Who do you think taught me in the first place?", Acid Breath barked back and opened his mouth to spit out again only for a ball to be shot in his mouth, gagging him then being hit with a barrage and knocked him unconscious.

A black blob melted away from the baseball pitcher, quickly reforming into a humanoid shape, having a black exterior with green stripes that resemble circuitry all over him. The green circle on his head is his eye, which glows whenever he talks. His front torso was white and the original Omnitrix symbol was on his chest. The aliens name was Circuit Breaker. "Strike three!", Circuit Breaker yelled out with a smile before transforming his hand into a large gun and walking to the raggy tent that might've held Zombozo, but he thought correct since a cardboard cut out of his face was above the entrance.

"Okay, you're dealing with a clown with a big rubber nose and big shoes. Nothing Circuit Breaker can't easily handle.", he had full confidence in himself... before hearing the Omnitrix beep and revert him to normal in a red flash. "Ah shit.", he said as he shook off his unease and looked at a mirror... "Great, funhouses."

Alex wandered through the mirror maze; knowing it was easy since the mirror weren't exactly perfectly aligned before hearing: "Howdy kid! Something tells me you'd be a barrel full of laughs!", Zombozo's voice echoed out, Alex just ignored it and continued the path before hitting his nose on a dead in, he turned to go back but it was gone.

"Hi there mysterious.", Zombozo's face appeared in his reflections and grew into a giant face on each side of him. "How about a smile?", he said with a terrifying grin that sends a chill down Alex's spine. He covered his face with the hoodie and adjusted his glasses as he started running, a multitude of Zombozo's hands started to reach out to grab him. And Ben took a step in the dark. That step turned out to be the biggest mistake of his life. Alex suddenly found himself falling through what was hell itself; Zombozo's laughs and screams tormented his brain the entire way down. Alex screamed as he landed on the ground, his body weak. Something honked as it made his way over to him...and it was the biggest, ugliest pair of shoes he had ever seen.

"Zombozo," Alex hissed.

"Oh, so you're the alien freak show!" Zombozo laughed. "I gotta say, I'm entertained!"

Alex could see souls inside the orbs of Zombozo's coat, could see them moaning in agony while the clown himself smiled. The orbs all led upward to his hat, and in the center of that orb Alex could see a smiling Gwen, her face thinned out and skeletal, pale skin gray, and her brown eyes a dull black.

Alex's face turned from frightened to outright terror as he started backing up quickly. "What the hell do you want anyways?"

Zombozo smiled again and stepped to the side, he snapped his fingers and a light turned on, showing the strange machine from earlier, which also had souls and the connected tube coming to life and attaching itself to Zombozo's back. He flew into the air and let out a pleased sigh. "Only what every clown worth his floppy shoes want, to make people laugh. And drain their positivity energy, like a sponge in a pool party!", Zombozo said as he flashed his messed up teeth. "Is that so wrong?"

"Is that the Machine you used to suck the happiness out of others?", Alex asked not looking directly at him. "No wonder, you're a horrible clown. Can't even make me laugh."

"Say whatever ya want!", Zombozo said pointing to his machine. "I call it the Psyclown, clever aye? Soon I'll be taking my act to the big cities! Millions of people... millions laughing at my jokes, laughing at the front I put on, feeding me and making me stronger!", he said as he plopped down softly in front of the child.

"Where's the orange haired girl? Give her back to me and I'll let you off with a warning.", Alex said getting up.

"Zombozo playfully gasped and patted his head. "I thought you heard? She ran away with the circus!", Zombozo said as Alex could only stare in horror as the limelight stopped on some stragglers who stayed behind, showing off their skeletal form, Ben was next to her, gasping for air as he had been beaten senseless by the creature. But what really got him, was a child no older than three, weakly begging for his mom.. and Alice just... there, shivering and crying to herself after being shown her worse fears.

And like that, Alex's fear vanished. Alex's soft brown eyes briefly flashed a killing instinct as he got up with a sick grin on his face. "Oh, you're funny, hilarious even... but I'm getting the last laugh.", the teen said as he slammed on the Omnitrix.

In his place was a new alien, more specifically his favorite. A towering creature of ten feet, all black and possessing a slick and oily appearance, having monstrous features such as an elongated jaw appearing similar to a snake, and long claws. The Omnitrix on his chest with black tendrils holding it down. An alien named Parasite.

Zombozo laughed at this. "Nice try brat! But I sell the tricks, I don't buy em!"

"Whatever you say.", Parasite ripped away Zombozo from his machine, grabbing his ankle and slamming him around on the floor. Before throwing Zombozo into the air and using a tendril to slam him head first back into the ground. The clown pulled his bloodied head out, his mask starting to slip, but before he could even get up he felt a sharp pain in his legs, looking down to see... they were gone. He looked up to see Parasite devouring his legs like they were chicken tenders. "Well what do you know? Clowns do taste funny."

Zombozo looked up in horror as he attempted to crawl away. The large black hand grabbed him by his head before throwing him into his Psyclown, destroying it and releasing the souls and returning them to their bodies. "H-Hey. T-T-Take it easy. I-I'll stop, I swear. I'll never do this again! I promise."

"Asking for mercy? Something you've never offered to the ones you've killed without remorse? Quite hypocritical of you. No, I will not spare you, in fact.", Parasite grabbed Zombozo by his head and grinned, holding up. "I'm feeling hungry.", he started opening his inhumanly wide mouth, showing the blackest depths of his protoplasmic body, black tendrils started to emerge from his fleshy mouth and tried to grab at him.

Zombozo screamed in horror, exploding in fright. Blight coughed up the confetti that landed in his mouth. "Good riddance.", his greenish eye splotches narrowed.

The Rust Bucket drove off after retrieving Alice and continued their way to the next stop. "You feelin okay Grandpa?", Ben asked him.

"Never better.", Max said with a smile and winked at his grandson. "You holding up okay Ben?"

"Yeah... I'm fine. Still sore around the arm though.", Ben said giving Max a thumbs up. "I don't think I'm scared of clowns anymore... now that I think about it."

"So it took you getting beaten up by a clown to realize it? Shouldn't it reinforce it?", Gwen asked as Alex was sitting there, looking out the window.

"Yeah but hey, what's worse then losing your family?", Ben cocked an eyebrow.

Alex wasn't entirely sure what happened, but he knew he scared Zombozo so bad he needed to regain his bearings. Oh how he'll finish the job once he sees him again.

/End/
