ACE ATTORNEY: THE FAZBEAR TURNABOUTS

The Disappearing Turnabout: Mid-Investigation Part 2

Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria: Dining Area

November 12th, 2019

2:18 PM

After investigating for the lengthy time they had, Detective Gumshoe called Franziska and Edgeworth to the main lobby stating they caught someone sneaking around the pizzeria. The prosecutors ran up the right hallway stopping to see two police officers cuffing a woman with puffy orange hair with a big beige headband around it keeping it clean. She also wore a green jacket, black pants, and beige boots with a camera hanging around her neck clearly visible.

"We got you, snooper!" Gumshoe stated as he took her from the officers.

"Oh, come on! Ah got scoops that need to be explored and this place is a goldmine of them," The photographer woman retorted as she was held up against the wall.

(It doesn't make it right to disturb a crime scene investigation. I'm getting the feeling I know this woman from somewhere.) Edgeworth thought.

"HEY! Mr. Edgeworth! Ya got to help me out here!" The photographer woman pleaded as she turned her head recognizing the prosecutor.

"Wait a minute...it's that insufferable journalist Lotta Hart," Franziska stated.

"Hmmmm...I haven't seen her since we were on that movie set," Edgeworth added.

"Insufferable? Ah would show you insufferable if this big lug detective didn't grab me so rough," Lotta stated trying to free herself.

"She was caught outside the restaurant trying to sneak peeks in and we had to run in order to get her," Gumshoe explained.

"Let her go. She better have a good explanation for this," Franziska ordered as she tightened her grip on her whip.

Gumshoe relented his strong hold as Lotta breathed a sigh of relief rubbing her wrists before looking at both siblings.

"Sorry fer the ruckus, but Freddy Fazbear's is too good to pass up on if ah want to turn in a headline by the end of the week," Lotta explained as she scratched the back of her head.

"You could do it not sticking your nose in private affairs. What do you mean by headline?" Edgeworth asked.

"Ah got put on an assignment about the murder that happened here. Figured ah should come once everything is in order," Lotta replied.

"It's not the media's business to impede on a ongoing investigation. I should have you arrested for trespassing," Franziska stated.

"Ah liked to remind you that I was outside the premise at least," Lotta retorted as she crossed her arms and frowned.

"Well, I'm afraid we cannot divulge any information to you at this time," Edgeworth stated.

"Ah have to object to that claim seeing as ah'm a material witness to this crime," Lotta announced as she crossed her arms and smiled.

"A witness?" Edgeworth asked.

"Why didn't you simply tell this to the police?" Franziska asked with a furrowed brow.

"My work is too important tah just give up and ah wanted to make sure that it is kept sacred between y'all. My employer told me to keep my sources and investigative reports confidential unless ah was disclosing to clients or law enforcement," Lotta replied.

"Mind telling us how you became a witness to this murder then? What did you see?" Edgeworth asked as he pointed at Lotta.

"Ah came around the pizzeria for a little leg work around...ah want to say 11:45 PM and ah usually hide near some trash cans making sure ah am not spotted by any city folk. Ah waited for about five minutes until ah dug around the place and looked in the windows until ah took a few pictures. The bright light from my camera actually allowed me to see two figures in the main dining area which confused me since this place is closed around that time," Lotta replied.

"Two figures in the restaurant?!" Franziska exclaimed as she twisted her whip in her hands.

"That's correct. They seem tah be having some kind of yelling match and started fightin'," Lotta added.

"Did you happen to notice the body frame of the individuals?" Edgeworth asked.

"One seemed to be on the skinner side and ah reckon one must've been taller than the other. It was for a few brief seconds as ah was takin' photos," Lotta replied.

"Are you completely sure you saw them clearly?" Franziska asked as she tightened her grip around her whip.

"Like ah said, my vision was relying on the bright light of my camera to see everything going on, but ma photos may have caught something better," Lotta replied as she handed over three photos.

Edgeworth took the photos in his hands reading one by one as the first photo showed the shadow silhouettes of two figures looking at each other and the other two showed both figures pushing on each other in a fight. In the third photo, the figure on the right is backed up against a table with the party hats being visible.

(A struggle was initiated here in the dining area, but I cannot make out who these people are. These will have to be tucked away.) Edgeworth thought.

"With your permission, we will have to take these photos into evidence, but they will be given back after the case is closed," Edgeworth requested.

"Ah guess they are vital, but don't go taking ma credit!" Lotta screamed as she jabbed a finger at Edgeworth.

Lotta's Photographs added to the Court Record

Late Night Scuffle added to Logic

"Thank you for your cooperation, Ms. Hart. I think we can look past your trespassing crime on this one," Edgeworth decided.

"Aww shucks, thanks, Mr. Edgeworth," Lotta praised as she nodded and scratched the back of her head.

"You would let a common criminal go like that," Franziska muttered.

"She gave us more information that will be necessary to decipher the further we head towards the truth of the matter. Now, we just need Detective Gumshoe to check those empty suits," Edgeworth replied as he tucked the photos in his suit jacket.

Distractions (plus) Late Night Scuffle (equals) COMBINE!

"Piggybacking on my earlier theory of there being a distraction that stalled the victim's death, we have two unknown suspects that are relevant to this crime. Possibly even serving as our distraction for the night guard in preventing him from being killed early," Edgeworth concluded with a big smirk on his face.

"That's just great. More questions than answers. I'm starting to think this case is one big fraud if we have to continue with more guessing games," Franziska added as she crossed her arms and grabbed her sleeves firmly.

"That's a tough reality for sure, but we are getting more pieces to this puzzle," Edgeworth stated as he crossed his arms.

(Whoever these two suspects are, I just hope at least one of them has a lead we can catch on with.) Edgeworth thought.

Identity of Suspects added to Logic

"MR. EDGEWORTH! MS. VON KARMA! WE GOT SOMETHING HERE IN THE BACKROOM!" Gumshoe yelled from the back room on the show stage.

Both prosecutors ceased their conversation and began running as fast as they could getting up on the stage passing the animatronics as Edgeworth slightly stopped seeing a brief vision of a purple bunny face in front of him that took him by surprise. He swatted at it before falling on his back side and shook his head.

*CRACK!*

"OUCHHHHHHH!" Edgeworth recoiled as he covered himself from the whip lashing.

"No more foolish fooling around, brother. We have business to attend to," Franziska stated.

Edgeworth grumbled under his breath as he got up walking with his hostess towards the back room with all the spare parts.

Freddy Fazebear's Pizzeria: Back Room Storage

November 12th, 2019

3:05 PM

Detective Gumshoe was standing on the main brown table in the small back room as most of the heads were spare Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie Bunny, or Chica Chicken heads for the animatronics. There was also a full metal endoskeleton in the corner that was pushed off the table and a large Freddy Fazbear suit with the major eyes popping out. Metal stuck out of certain parts and blood could be seen pouring out from the open hatches.

"Oh my god!" Edgeworth exclaimed as he held a hand to his mouth.

"I think we just found the body we were looking for," Gumshoe announced as some of the officers were trying to hold their stomachs.

(The next thing I knew was the coroner coming in to do an on-site reading of the body and Franziska ordered everyone off the premise so her investigation could continue. I didn't argue as I already had all the information I needed to know the fundamentals of the case. However, Mr. Twinkle, Ms. Oldbag, and Ms. Hart were all taken into questioning upon the discovery of the body as one of them could have known the back room was a potential crime scene. Three crime scenes of the security office, the dining area, and the back room. This case just keeps getting weirder and more complex. Not to mention, I hallucinated about a purple bunny that slowed me down….like it was some indicator of sorts. Whatever the case, I had no choice, but to retreat back home for the day and hopefully tomorrow came with betters results.)

High Prosecutor's Office-Room 1202

November 13th, 2019

8:45 AM

Edgeworth would find himself buried back in the Missing Children Incident case file as he made himself some tea and sat down to read out the facts one more time on his couch. Sinking back into the cushions, his mind had so many questions on that brief vision he saw of that purple rabbit and why when he passed those animatronics, it activated. Turning each page to find an answer, all he could tell was that five victims were brutally murdered by an assailant wearing a yellow costume of a golden bear which he used manipulating children back with him.

"There has to be some connection I am not aware of. It says here that just like with Mr. Smith's body, these five children were missing and no official autopsies could be performed. The majority of the trial rested on theories and who used the suit to kill them," Edgeworth stated.

His mentor, Manfred Von Karma, was the prosecutor of the case in his much younger years considering the murders happened in 1985 back when the restaurant chain was a huge success with children back in those times. The children murdered were named Gabriel Kyles, Susie Waters, Fritz Peterson, Jeremy Fratz, and Jacob Knowles. The crime scene was the Parts and Services back room of the first known restaurant in the Fazbear chain and the police caught a man in a golden bear suit on camera leaving Parts and Services which led to an arrest. The defendant was named Arnold Schtizmeister, a 63-year old repairman usually responsible for fixing the animatronics when they start spazzing out.

(That would explain why there isn't someone in a similar position at the restaurant today if the guilty party was someone with easy access to the mechanics.) Edgeworth thought.

Edgeworth turned the pages more trying to find some type of connection to the recent case at hand. They did find a gruesome sight in that spare Freddy Fazbear suit crushing the insides of the victim within the confines of solid metal parts. He wonders if there is something more to it that he is not understanding. However, his vision went blurry looking at the pages until a brown fox with an eyepatch over his right eye showed up with the words "IT'S ME" flashing in bold white lettering flashing over the face. Edgeworth screamed dropping the files allowing many of the papers to scatter across the floor and he swatted his tea without looking breaking the cup as the liquid stained the floor. The prosecutor prodigy went down on his hands and knees shaking his head breathing heavily after experiencing another hallucination. First, a purple bunny and now a red fox that looked like a pirate.

Edgeworth heard a knock at his door as he noticed the pounding fist noise and the doorknob turning to let the bumbling detective inside.

"Mr. Edgeworth! Are you alright?" Gumeshoe asked as he ran to help his best friend up to his feet.

"Ugh...my head is pounding," Edgeworth replied as he shook his head.

"I think there might be some aspirin in your drawer. I'll go fetch a drink of water from the cooler," Gumshoe stated.

Edgeworth would soon stumble over to his desk reaching around the front pulling out different drawers as he took out a white bottle of headache pills pouring two out on the wooden surface. Gumeshoe returned with some water as Edgeworth soon consumed the medicine and drank some water wiping his forehead of sweat.

"What happened, sir?" Gumshoe asked as he helped Edgeworth sit down at his desk.

"I was just reading the file on the Missing Children Incident that my mentor took on long ago and I suddenly started having flash visions of...that Foxy character," Edgeworth replied.

"Foxy? You mean one of the main animatronics?" Gumshoe asked.

"That's quite right. It just happened for a few seconds, but it felt so real and it was all in my face," Edgeworth replied.

"That's weird. Those furry characters are supposed to be joyous spirits, not serve the purpose of giving out nightmare fuel," Gumshoe stated.

"I also had one of that purple rabbit. Just before we found the body in that mechanical suit," Edgeworth added.

"Are you sure you ain't losing it, sir? Maybe you should get off this case," Gumshoe suggested.

"If I do, Franziska will mess it up for herself. She's got her father's tendency to get a guilty verdict by any means necessary and I can't let this case fall on that decision," Edgeworth stated.

"Not to mention, a really cracking personality," Gumshoe added as he slumped his shoulders and frowned.

"We just have to guide her correctly and make sure to get the real culprit throughout all this. What's the status on the body?" Edgeworth asked as he retained his calm composure.

"Oh! So, lucky for us, the body managed to stay in extremely solid shape despite a lot of blood loss and organs splattered everywhere. It's definitely the mechanical suit that did him in," Gumshoe replied.

"So, the suit is our murder weapon in this case, correct?" Edgeworth asked as he pointed at the detective.

"It sure is. I managed to snag a copy of the victim's freshly made autopsy report for you," Gumshoe replied as he handed over a manilla folder.

Edgeworth took the folder setting it on the table ripping off the top of the document and getting a white piece of paper out in order to read the details of the findings.

Name: Fritz Smith

Age: 37

Cause of Death: Punctures to multiple body parts, pieces of neck retrieved show shades of purple indicating a bruise around the victim's neck, and several blood samples collected reveal a possibility of blood loss prior to murder.

Time of Death: Possible time frame of 2:30 AM-3:45 AM

Height: 5'7

Weight: 131 lbs.

Eye Color: Hazel

Race: Caucasian

Body Structure: Unknown due to skin puncture, likely skinny

Hair Color: Brown

"Blood loss prior to the murder? Hmmm, it's possible he could have been struck before being taken to the suit to be stuffed in," Edgeworth stated.

"What makes ya think that, sir?" Gumshoe asked as his eyes darted all around the room.

"Pieces of his neck retrieved from the suit had a shade of a purple bruise on them. This means that he could have been fighting the real killer...possibly during the struggle that Ms. Hart witnessed," Edgeworth replied as he tapped his forehead.

Smith's Autopsy Report added to the Court Record

Spare Freddy Suit added to the Court Record

"Oh, I almost forgot to mention that we caught Ms. Hart in a lie last night during interrogation," Gumshoe stated.

(Hmm, this is news to me. Ms. Hart is never one to lie intentionally as far as I've met her.) Edgeworth thought.

"What did she lie about?" Edgeworth asked as he pointed at the detective.

"About not being inside the restaurant. She claims she was outside the eatery and taking pictures through the glass windows, but something we found in our last minutes of investigation proves otherwise," Gumshoe asked as he pulled out a plastic bag with a pair of broken eyeglasses in it.

Edgeworth inspected the piece of evidence as one of the lenses were cracked and the glasses had a blue trim to them with the handles bent a little bit.

"A pair of broken glasses? What does this have to do with her?" Edgeworth asked.

"We ran a quick fingerprint analysis on them confirming that she has touched them before and her fingerprints were found on the back entrance of the restaurant as well," Gumshoe explained with a grin.

"WHATTTTTTT?!" Edgeworth recoiled with a shocked expression.

Broken Eyeglasses added to the Court Record

"We did have to put all the math together and judging by the way the eyeglasses are broken, she may have been a part of the night struggle. She's currently in a holding cell at the detention center and we confiscated her camera for further inspection," Gumshoe stated.

"That's very concerning. We weren't set on a specific individual for our culprit, but Lotta being there puts her right in the driver's seat," Edgeworth stated.

(Not to mention, it proves Franziska's theory of the back entrance being unlocked during the time before Mr. Smith's shift. Lotta could have hid in the security office waiting to strike, but the night guard was preoccupied with something in the dining area. She's also not an employee of the restaurant and I know Franziska will want to argue that against any defense claims.) Edgeworth thought as he crossed his arms.

"I think we should at least inspect it for ourselves. Let's head down to the police station and retrieve it from the evidence room," Edgeworth suggested.

"Unfortunately, sir, Ms. Von Karma will be supervising any inspection over evidence and I'm sure she wouldn't want us intruding on anything," Gumshoe stated as he slumped his shoulders and frowned.

(Not what I was expecting to hear, but I can't fault him for thinking that way. Franziska would never let me near the evidence so I don't ruin the building of her "perfect case.") Edgeworth thought to himself.

"Well, I would then like to visit Ms. Hart in the detention center. I'd like to get her account one more time since it isn't so simple this time," Edgeworth requested.

"I can do that for you, sir. Let's get down there. I'll drive," Gumshoe offered.

Edgeworth got up from his desk and he started walking with Gumshoe as the homicide detective started rummaging around in his pockets for his car keys as Edgeworth locked his office on the way out.

Detention Center-Visitor's Room

November 13th, 2019

10:03 AM

The familiar atmosphere of the county jail brought a wave of emotions over the people that reside here in captivity for their crimes. Edgeworth and Gumshoe entered the visiting center as they saw the guard standing duty in the containment area and the glass window that separated both visitor and inmate from each other. Edgeworth saw Lotta sitting in her chair looking absolutely miserable and she had bags under her eyes indicating she hadn't slept a wink last night. However. there was a large man sitting in the visitor's section with a brown suit jacket on wearing a white dress shirt underneath and a straightened yellow tie. He had short gray hair and a grey moustache with small glasses covering his eyes.

"Whoa, what's going on here?" Gumshoe asked as he walked over to Lotta and her visitor.

"Oh, are you here to see Ms. Hart, because I can always come back to her later," The fat man replied as Edgeworth widened his eyes looking at him.

"Wait... you're Marvin Grossberg of Grossberg Law Offices. What are you doing here?" Edgeworth asked.

"Simply put, ma boy, that I'm seeking to represent Ms. Hart in court since she is under suspicion of murder. I heard her trial was tomorrow and I decided that my service is needed," Grossberg replied.

"So, you'll be facing Ms. Von Karma? Ms. Hart will be going in front of a grand jury later for indictment charges so we can run the legal process for tomorrow," Gumshoe explained.

"Ah didn't do anything, though! You can't just throw me in here without any evidence!" Lotta exclaimed as she stood up banging on the glass.

"Calm yourself, Ms. Hart. I will see to it that you are declared innocent by tomorrow's end," Grossberg promised.

Lotta sighed as she sat down looking with her head down as Grossberg got up and looked over at the detective.

"Since I will be representing Ms. Hart, I am going to need full access to the crime scene for my own case. May I get a written affidavit from you to show lead investigators?" Grossberg requested.

"Sure thing, pal! I'm sure they won't have a problem with you provided you don't disrupt their investigation," Gumshoe stated as he took out a template and started writing down on it with a pen from his jacket.

"I would like to speak with your new client about her involvement if that is alright," Edgeworth requested.

"You aren't the prosecutor for the trial so I don't see why she can't speak with you," Grossberg replied as he made his way out saying his final goodbyes.

Lotta looked up seeing Edgeworth take his place as she sighed heavily and Gumshoe decided to stand in a corner with his hands stuffed in his pockets.

"What are ya doing here?" Lotta asked.

"You lied to investigators which is why you are in this predicament and suspicious of murder. Although it has yet to be proven you have done anything, I would just like to hear your full account," Edgeworth replied.

"That's self-incrimination and ah don't have to provide any more information to you. Yer just trying to get me jailed," Lotta stated in defiance.

"I just wish to know the truth. Maybe it can help set you free before tomorrow," Edgeworth reminded.

"Ah don't know…that whippy lady sure has her eyes on the prize for tomorrow," Lotta stated.

"You can trust me. I won't tell Franziska anything that might be sabotaging your chances of innocence," Edgeworth promised.

"Ah can't….ah just can't…ah told you both my work is to remain confidential and ah can't break a binding deal like that. That lawyer knows, because he's my only shot out of this and Maya recommended him to me should ah need any help," Lotta explained.

(This is going nowhere really fast. I can't inspect evidence and Lotta won't tell me what she lied about or why she was inside the building. I know she has a commitment to her workplace and

I guess I can't flush anything out.) Edgeworth thought.

"What ah can tell you is that ah didn't kill the victim. Ah barely even know the guy to start with and they won't be able to prove anything," Lotta stated.

(That's true. Lotta, from what she says, has no connection with the victim Fritz Smith. However, Franziska won't let that stop her from incriminating her further. There are ways around this obstacle for her.) Edgeworth thought.

"I suppose if that's it then we are done here. Good luck tomorrow," Edgeworth stated as he got up from his seat as Lotta got up so the guard could return her to her cell.

"I better get moving back to the crime scene and see what the others have found. You can come with if you have anything else you want to see. Just know it's going to be Ms. Von Karma's firepower," Gumshoe explained as he walked up to his partner.

(I could use the time to talk with Mr. Twinkle like I wanted to yesterday before the body was discovered. A second look at the security office couldn't hurt either.) Edgeworth thought.

"I'll join you, detective. I still have unfinished business with a few loose ends," Edgeworth stated.

Both men started leaving the detention center as they headed out into the parking lot as Edgeworth opened the passenger side door looking back hoping Lotta would be alright being in there for another night.

Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria: Outside

November 13th, 2019

11:14 AM

Detective Gumshoe pulled up to the restaurant as he parked his car in a spot and turned off the engine as both men got out of the car returning from yesterday. They saw even more officers around the joint as Franziska wanted every inch of the building covered and Edgeworth knew she wouldn't be expecting anything less. They walked up to the place when they noticed a long blue car pull up parking as a pudgy blonde women with short hair wearing a plain blue shirt, a cotton yellow jacket, blue jeans, and sandals with a camera around her neck got out rubbing her hands together hollering when she saw the restaurant.

"Time to kickstart my career where Lotta failed," The blonde woman muttered to herself as she raises her camera, but Gumshoe put a big hand on her lens when she took the photo.

"Ma'am, I'm afraid there's no one allowed at this establishment. A crime has taken place and only investigators can be here," Gumshoe stated as he tried establishing authority.

"Hey dude! You totally killed the shot!" The blonde woman exclaimed as she flipped through her photo history and deleted the present photo she just took.

"This isn't a place for paparazzi, miss. The detective is making that very clear," Edgeworth reinforced.

"You got the wrong gal if you think I have time to watch celebrities lounge by their pool hoping they'll do something interesting. I'm writing an investigative piece on this dump and it's going to be the best thing to jumpstart my journalist career," The blonde woman stated.

"Just who are you anyway?" Edgeworth asked.

"The name is Jan Baker, upcoming investigative journalist. I go where the mysteries start and the culprits need to be caught. When I'm on the case, justice gets baked!" Jan exclaimed as he held a fist up looking at the sky dramatically.

(Now I know how Wright feels when he meet dramatic characters on cases.) Edgeworth thought.

"So you are a journalist just like Ms. Hart?" Edgeworth asked.

"That's correct. We're co-workers for The Big Scoop and let's just say we aren't the best of friends," Jan replied.

"What makes you say that?" Edgeworth asked.

"Investigative journalism is a very competitive field and only the strong can survive in times where it really counts. Lotta and I understood that quite clearly so we have a bit of a heated rivalry going on at the moment. It starts with packages, team assignments, undercover work, the usual treatments," Jan replied.

(Hmmmm, awfully convenient that now Lotta is out of the picture, she just now decides to show up at the eatery. However, conspiracy theories aside, I can tell another reason her and Lotta didn't get along.) Edgeworth thought.

"Too bad she went and killed an innocent man all for a scoop," Jan stated.

"Now that has yet to be proven," Edgeworth retorted as he pointed at Lotta.

"Here I was under the impression that you are a prosecutor, not a defense attorney. Aren't you suppose to think she did it?" Jan asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes, I am, but I'm also obliged to find the truth of the entire case and not take shortcuts. I'll still try to prove a defendant's guilt, but any doubt in the facts must be investigated so nothing comes loose should that conclusion be reached," Edgeworth replied.

"Worst. Prosecutor. Ever. You seriously fall into that crap of "finding the truth" and "preserving justice?" It's seriously cliché and doesn't work half the time," Jan stated as she used her fingers to substitute for air quotes.

"Why is it a cliché?" Edgeworth asked with a glare towards Jan.

"Literally, defense and prosecutor are suppose to fight over who is guilty and who is not which just seems like a huge waste of time. Being a journalist who can expose some real crimes, now that's where it's at," Jan replied.

(Let's add a big ego and disrespect towards the court system on top of this giant cake, shall we?) Edgeworth thought.

"While I respect your….rather dense opinions, it's more than just trying to find real criminals. It's about bringing truth to a case that will hopefully bring closure for the victim and their loved ones," Edgeworth stated.

"That's all well and good that you do that, but I got my goals to look after so people's emotions got to be second priority. I'm so getting the lead writer position after my through search of this place," Jan explained as she started taking multiple pictures.

"Miss, I'm afraid that you'll have to wait. This is currently a crime scene for an investigation and you would do well to come back another time," Gumshoe enforced with a stern look.

"Ugh! Such a buzzkill! Fine, I'll come back, but this case is mine! I'll reveal the truth before you can even reach a verdict," Jan declared as she backed off and went right back to her car.

(Everywhere I turn, there's always someone on this restaurant's case about it's past and it always refers me back to the Missing Children Incident. It's seemingly the one thing that is holding a storm cloud over this place and bringing a wave of doubt from the public. Perhaps this second day of investigations is better suited to think back on what my mentor went through so I can see why that was such a rushed case to begin. What exactly happened to the children once they were killed and what led this to be the case my mentor would never ever talk about?) Edgeworth thought.

Court Record:

Prosecutor's Badge: The proof of my profession and it is a symbol of justice that remains with me despite my previous ambitions. I usually keep it in my pocket for safe keeping.

Spare Keys: A ring of keys the manager gave me should I need to access any other room in the pizzeria usually reserved for employees.

Phone Messages: A phone in the office holds a few messages from the victim supposedly. There must be more in them and it concerns the animatronics. One of them recorded the exact moment the victim was murdered and says a lot of interesting tidbits about the animatronics.

Animatronic Data: One of the phone messages said that the animatronics have a free-roaming mode meaning they could move of their own accord. Very interesting. They have a tendency to fall apart due to being so old and this could have prevented the victim from being murdered straight away.

Security Cameras: The very devices that looks over the pizzeria at night, but they usually delete records of anything they catch on camera.

Photo of Security Office: A photo taken of the crime scene for closer inspection on a few areas if needed. It's very dirty and disorganized.

Luminol Bottle: A bottle that contains a substance known as Luminol which is supposed to help find traces of blood if it dries up enough or is hard to make out in certain areas.

Photos of Bloodstains: Bloodstains were found in front of the swivel chair, on the swivel chair, and out in the right hallway leading me to believe the victim was killed in the office and then was dragged down the hall to be locked away.

Lotta's Photographs: Photos that Lotta Hart took outside the restaurant that shows two unidentified people having an argument and initiating a struggle.

Smith's Autopsy Report: Name: Fritz Smith

Spare Freddy Suit: Essentially, the murder weapon in this case as the victim was stuffed into this mechanical suit and all the metal parts punctured his skin.

Broken Eyeglasses: A pair of eyeglasses with one of the lenses broken and ripped apart along with the handles being bent. They belong to Lotta Hart and have her fingerprints on them.

Logic:

Where is the exact cause of Fritz Smith's death?

What is the exact time of death?

What were in those deleted recordings?

Who were the two suspects arguing and fighting that Lotta saw?

Profiles:

Miles Edgeworth (27): That's me. A genius prosecutor that used to be a very ruthless prosecutor and followed the guidelines of a very strict man. Let's just say I use my new powers for the side of cold justice and to help the innocent.

Dick Gumshoe (32): The detective in charge of the initial investigation and my right hand man. He's really bubbly and clumsy usually failing at his job, but I wouldn't ask for a more loyal partner.

Franziska Von Karma (19): The prosecutor assigned to the case and the daughter of Manfred Von Karma, my former mentor that recently died a few years ago. Nothing like her father in terms of her skills, but she carries a whip to lash out at those that she finds foolish and doesn't tolerate mistakes.

Fritz Smith (?): The victim and a night guard at Freddy Fazebear's Pizzeria. Usually takes a midnight-6AM shift and locks up the pizzeria until the manager and the day guard arrives. However, his body is missing from the crime scene.

Wendy Oldbag (72): A day guard at the pizzeria and a notable admirer of mine. She's very cranky and does not like kids or her job for that matter.

Peter Twinkle (43): The business manager at the pizzeria and is usually in close contact with night guards during their shifts. He reported the crime when he called the police and ordered the day guard to check the cameras.

Lotta Hart (25): An investigative journalist put on the case to get a big scoop centered on the surroundings of this particular murder. Recently charged as the defendant in this case.

Marvin Grossberg (68): A veteran defense attorney that will be representing Lotta in court and a former mentor to Mia Fey and Diego Armando. Also has bad habits dramatically clearing his throat and complaining about hemorrhoids.

Jan Baker (26): A competing investigative journalist that has a rivalry with Lotta and only wants to solve this case in order to jumpstart her career.
