It was another lazy day for the superhero love duo consisting of Barry Allen and Oliver Queen. Barry had already patrolled the town for any evil doings but was pleasantly surprised when he had found no situation that would have needed his assistance or intervention. So he decided to spend the day with his boyfriend instead. Of course, he was still in high alert in case an emergency call comes in, but he enjoyed the free time he had now to simply cuddle with his wonderful lover.
They were lazily lounging on the couch, with Oliver sitting in an upright position, massaging Barry's feet which were a little sore from all the running he had to do in the last couple of days. Meanwhile Barry was lying flat on his back with his naked feet in Oliver's lap appreciating the gentle touches of his boyfriend immensely.
Suddenly Oliver stopped his caressing and focused solely on one specific point on his left foot. Barry knew immediately which spot it was and why. He waited for the inevitable question.
"Barry, I know I'm asking this question a lot and if it starts to annoy you just say so and I will stop – but where did you get this scar from?"
The scar in question was relatively small, only about half a centimeter (about 0.2 inches) in diameter and it was almost a perfect circle. Upon closer inspection Oliver noticed that an identical scar could be found on the underside of the same foot.
"Well, there was this one guy – a mutant – who also had superspeed as his power – although he was nowhere near my top speed – and like any villain he decided to run instead of surrendering himself and I followed him through half the town before I managed to catch him. During the chase the villain of the day decided to run through a construction site and, with my luck, I succeeded in stepping onto the one nail in the whole area that was somehow standing upright. It went straight through my foot, but I didn't even notice it until after the chase was over. It was then that the adrenaline wore off and I felt the pain of the nail impaling my foot. Needless to say, the walk back to Star Labs was a funny affair. But Cisco and Caitlin patched me up and now only this scar remains."
"Only you Barry, only you" Oliver said with a mischievous smirk on his face. Barry groaned. He knew what that meant. He would never hear the end of this. They all already teased him enough because of his infamous 'Allen Luck'. Now he's just given his boyfriend even more munition. It would be a long week.
