Still Lucy's POV
I watched as all 3 of them jumped at the sound of my voice. It was quite the sight. Specially when they're all naked. Gajeel covered Levy's eyes, not like she hasn't seen Gray naked before. I think everyone in all of Earthland has seen the guy naked at some point in their lives.
"What the fuck?" Gray groaned as he held his head, I'm assuming because of a headache just like the one Laxus and I had when we woke up this morning. "What are you guys doing here?" Gray asked looking at us through his fingers.
"We're here to wake you up!" I chirped. I was way too amused to even care that Laxus decided to wrap an arm around my waist possessively. "Oh and guys?" The 3 looked at me. "You're all naked..." I waited and mentally counted down from 5. When I got to 1 they all freaked out grabbing the covers to cover themselves. I seriously had the hardest time keeping the amusement out of my voice and off my face.
Apparently Gray just realized he had 2 other people in bed with him cause he made a very 'manly' squeak as he looked back and forth between Meredy and Juvia. You could see in his eyes that he was freaking out.
I saw Juvia glare at Meredy clearly wondering why she was bed with her and her darling Gray. Meredy looked lost if I was being honest.
"Luce? What happened?" Meredy asked in a sleepy voice. Clearly she didn't want to be awake.
"You want the truth or do you want me tell you what you want to hear?" I asked. I wanted to growl at Laxus since he kept tightening his hand that rested on my hip.
"The truth..." Gray said bluntly.
'Yup definitely scared shitless...' I muse internally. I heard Laxus chuckle clearly he felt my amusement. "Well the truth is... I don't know..." I said shrugging my shoulders making them groan. I mean I couldn't help the fact that I honestly had no clue since I wasn't in the right state of mind last night to keep track of any of my friends and what they were doing and who they were with.
"Well... Consider yourselves lucky you're in a better situation then Cana, Bickslow and Bacchus..." I said making the 3 of them raise an eyebrow at me. I giggled, "They all woke up married to each other..." I had to bite my lip when I saw their faces go pale while looking at their own hands frantically trying to find a ring just in case. They sighed in relief when they didn't see any rings.
"Luce... What are you doing here anyway?" Meredy asked with a yawn.
"I'm everyone's morning wake up call for breakfast!" I chirped I was in too good of a mood right now although it was at my friend expense. But I could careless about that right now.
"Juvia is confused... Why is Meredy in bed with Juvia and Gray?" Juvia asked apparently still trying to process everything.
I shrugged, "I don't know... I woke up in bed with Laxus with a mating mark and have no idea how I ended up there..." I said like it was no big deal. And currently it wasn't in my mind I was too busy with these current events to even care that I was partially mated to Laxus.
"Wait..." Gray said. "You're mated to Laxus?" Gray asked his tone clearly not happy.
"No... Not mated just with a mating mark... It's a partial mating..." I explained. Gray raised an eyebrow at me silently saying 'You're Not Telling The Whole Story'. I sighed, "2 more bites and the mating will be complete, but right now there is only one..." I said crossing my arms giving him a look that said 'happy now?'.
He rolled his eyes. "Alright since I woke up with these 2 where is Natsu?" Gray asked still shifting his eyes back and forth between Juvia and Meredy.
I shrugged, "I guess we'll try and find him next..." I said with a sigh. If I was being honest he was the last one I would want to find. Don't get me wrong he is my best friend but he's always just so overwhelming and never leaves me alone.
"Lu... Do you really think that's good idea?" Lev asked. I raised a questioning eyebrow. She looked at Gajeel and then Laxus with just moving her eyes.
"Oh!" I said once I realized what she meant. "Eh, no big deal let's go find the rest... Oh And we'll see you 3 at breakfast!" I said with a wave as grabbed Laxus' arm and pulled him with me.
"Wait Luce!" I heard Meredy call. I hummed without looking back. "Um... Can we not mention this to Jellal... He'll kill me!" Meredy asked clearly on the verge of freaking out.
I giggled. "Oh I don't think he'll be in any position to kill anyone! Seriously if my suspicions are correct he has his own problems!" I yelled back before shutting the door. I couldn't hold it anymore I broke out into a fit of a giggles as I leaned against the wall. "Oh My Stars! Can today get any better?" I said through my laughter.
"Lu don't you feel bad at all for any of them?" Lev asked.
"Oh I do, but that's what makes it funny... I'm starting to love Karma right now..." I giggled.
"You are so not right in the head Bunny..." Gaj said with a shake of his head.
I shot him a glare, "Don't you start with me rust bucket! Now start with the sniffing! Find Natsu! Mush!" I said throwing my hand up in the air.
"We're not dogs!" Gaj growled.
"No... You're dragon hounds! Now Move it! I'm starving! The faster we find everyone the faster we eat and the happier I'll be!" I growled.
"Lu has a point... She's really grumpy when she's hungry..." I heard Lev say.
"Fine... Damn bossy Bunny..." Gaj grumbled. I rolled my eyes.
"This way..." Laxus said as he pointed down a different hallway. I shrugged as we followed him. "This one..." Laxus pointed to a door that made my jaw drop.
"Your kidding?" I asked in disbelief.
Laxus shook his head, "Nope... And smells like Little Strauss is in there too..." Laxus held wonder in his voice.
"I'm going to kill him!" I growled. Both slayers looked at me startled. I tried the handle and it was locked. I growled in a annoyance as I pulled out my hotel room key and unlocked the door. I looked back at the 3 with me. They were staring at me with wide eyes. "Yeah now see why I'm going to kill him!" I all but shouted. I pushed the door the open and practically stomped inside.
"Oh boy..." I heard Lev say.
"I know that aura... I think it's safer for us if we stay back here and out of her way..." I heard Gaj say. Laxus just grunted in agreement.
I stomped up the bed where Natsu and Lis were both sleeping, naked no less. I was going to yell but then I spotted a similar looking bite mark on Lis' neck.
My blood boiled even more 'HOW DARE HE IN MY DAMN BED TOO!' I screamed internally. "NATSU!" I shrieked. This caused both Natsu and Lis to both jump up with their eyes wide. Lis' eyes landed on me. She shrank back as she pulled the blanket up to cover herself when she noticed the other 2 slayers behind me.
"Luce? There you are! I was looking for you everywhere! So I figured to wait here for you!" Natsu said with that goofy grin of his.
"What were you thinking!" I growled my fists clenched at my sides.
"I already told you! I was waiting for you but you never showed up..." Natsu said completely ignoring the fact that Lis was beside him gaping at him or the fact that they both were naked.
"This is your room Lucy?" Lis nearly shouted.
I nodded, "Yes Lis it is..." I said. It seemed Natsu was just now noticing Lis.
"Lis what are you doing here?" Natsu asked. Even I wanted to hit him. Lis was speechless.
"Natsu you are an idiot!" I snapped. "Do you even realize what you did?" I asked.
"Huh? What do you mean what did I do? I didn't do anything? Did I?" Natsu asked scratching the back of his head.
I facepalmed, "Natsu! You marked Lis!" I snapped.
"No I didn't... I marked you..." Natsu said like he actually believe it.
"No you didn't Natsu..." I said but Natsu cut me off.
"Yes I did, see your mark is right there..." Natsu got up and got too close to me apparently. Laxus had pulled me back against his chest as he growled at Natsu. "Laxus let go of my Luce!" Natsu growled.
I sighed as I rubbed my temples. "Natsu... You didn't mark me, Laxus did, you marked Lis..." I said as I pointed to Lis' neck.
Natsu shook his head, "No, I know your smell it was you..." God how dense can he be.
"Natsu if that was the case why are you in my bed with Lis and you're both naked? And why did I wake up in Laxus' bed? AND why did you just say that you were looking everywhere for me? And you also just said that I never showed up! So how the hell did you mark me when I wasn't even here!?" I asked and he looked like he was deep in thought. I could still hear the slight growl coming from Laxus as he tightened his arms around me.
'Damn possessive dragon slayers...' I groaned internally. Dragon slayers can be really annoying.
"But it was you... I know your smell..." Natsu said still glaring at Laxus.
I sighed, "Natsu you are in MY bed! Of course it's going to smell like me! I bet it even smells like Cana since me and her shared the bed... Not to mention didn't I tell you not to sneak in here anymore? But of course you don't listen... Face the facts, You Natsu marked Lis..." I still can't believe he's arguing with me about this. Every slayer I know knows exactly who they're mated to. How can he be so dense!?
Natsu scratched his head in thought. Lis looked like she was going to cry. I knew exactly how she felt. The rejection hurts, physically hurts. I sighed as I tapped Laxus' arm twice. He let go of me hesitantly.
"I have a feeling I'm going to owe the hotel a new window..." I muttered under my breath.
"Blondie..." Laxus said in a warning tone.
"Natsu..." I growled. "Accept the facts, you marked Lis and if you deny and reject her now, she'll die..." I said sternly.
"No she won't..." Natsu said shaking his head. "She would only die if I was the one that marked her, but I didn't, I marked you..." Natsu said as he started to come towards me.
I sighed heavily, "I'm sorry for this Lis..." I said looking around Natsu.
"Why are you saying sorry to her? And for what?" Natsu asked clearly he's one of the denser Dragon Slayers.
"Lucy?" Lis asked softly.
I smiled at her then moved to look at Natsu and my face turned into scowl. Natsu looked at me as he cocked his head to the side in confusion.
I called on Taurus' power changing into his Star Dress. I heard Natsu gulp.
"Luce! Now wait a minute I didn't do anything wrong!" I ignored Natsu's pleas. I narrowed my eyes at him. In the corner of my eye I saw Lev help Lis out of the way. Natsu was slowly backing away from me with his hands up in the air showing surrender but I didn't let him get far. I charged at him calling on all of Taurus' strength as I punched him square in the chest sending him flying across the room and straight through the window shattering the glass. Natsu kept flying I lost track of him since I couldn't see him anymore.
I let the Star Dress fall as I returned to my normal clothes. I sighed, "Great... I didn't mean to take part of the wall too..." I said facepalming myself.
"What are we going to tell the others?" Lev asked rubbing Lis' back soothingly.
"Tell them the truth, he pissed me off so I punched him..." I shrugged my shoulders.
"So... Should we have waited till we could have gotten him into his clothes before you did that?" Lev asked holding up Natsu's pants.
I paled, "Shit! I didn't even think of that!" I whined. "Virgo!" I called as she appeared next to me. I put my hand up to stop her before she asked for punishment. "Go find Natsu and take these to him! Make sure he gets dressed and then leave him... He can walk his stupid dragon slaying ass back..." I said turning to go over to Lev and Lis.
"I'm so sorry Lucy! I didn't know this was your room... Why doesn't he remember? How could he not remember!" Lis cried as she hugged me.
"Oh I'm going beat it into him if I have to..." I growled looking at the hole in the wall.
"Lu... Maybe using Taurus was a bad idea? Leo's probably would have been smarter to use?" Lev pointed out.
I was beyond pissed, beyond annoyed, "Thank you captain obvious!" I growled.
"Who's left to find? We need to feed Bunny before she actually kills the next person that pisses her off..." Gaj said making me glare at him.
"The next person might be you if you're not careful..." I heard Laxus say to Gaj.
"I ain't afraid of Bun..." Gaj started to say but stopped when he caught my glare. "Never mind..." Gaj mumbled as he shrank back.
"That's what I thought..." I said through grit teeth. "Lev help Lis get changed so we can head to breakfast... Although I still have Erza and Jellal to track down..." I sighed.
"Freed's getting Mira, Elf and Ever and meeting us in the dining hall..." Laxus said.
I rolled my eyes, "Like I don't know that..." I muttered. We waited for Lev and Lis to finally be ready before we made our way out to find Erza and Jellal.
I couldn't help but grumble the entire way. Natsu made me mad. How could he be so damn dense. How could be say those things in front of Lis. "Oh, When I get my hands on that good for nothing fire breathing twat waffle I'm going to strangle his ass... When I'm done with him he wouldn't even be able to be put back together even with a damn instruction manual!" I kept grumbling.
"Lu..." I heard Lev say. I hummed. "Aren't you going a bit overboard with the threats?" Lev asked with a nervous laugh.
I stopped and looked back at her, "What are you talking about I didn't threaten anyone... Did I?" I said with a raised eyebrow.
Laxus chuckled, "Blondie.. you said and I quote 'When I get my hands on that good for nothing fire breathing twat waffle I'm going to strangle his ass... When I'm done with him he wouldn't even be able to be put back together even with a damn instruction manual!' just now..." Laxus said in amusement.
"I said that out loud?" I asked not thinking I actually did.
"Yes Blondie you did..." Laxus said with another chuckle.
"Stupid dragon slayers..." I grumbled earning myself a few chuckles the 2 slayers behind me.
"I'll catch up to you guys... My room is right over there I need to... Um... Grab something quick..." Lis said as she ran off towards her room. I sighed, I felt bad for Lis, she's going to go through what I did all because Natsu wants to be a complete and total jackass.
It was like we were walking forever when we came to the Erza's room. "This should be interesting... Jellal's definitely in there..." Laxus said as he covered his nose. "It has the overwhelming smell of sex... Like a lot..." Laxus cringed.
"What about the others room?" I asked considering we were just in 3 other rooms with people that obviously had sex.
"It wasn't as strong... This smells like they've going at it ever since we arrived here..." Laxus said eyeing the door.
"What are you not saying?" I asked crossing my arms under my chest.
"You might not want to disturb them right now..." Laxus said and my eyes went wide.
"YOU'VE GOT TO BE FUCKING KIDDING ME!" I shouted.
"Well that was effective..." Gaj said. I turned to him in enough time to see Ezra open the door wrapped in a towel. her hair soaking wet and a sparkly diamond ring on her left ring finger.
"Oh, Lucy! What are you doing here?" Erza asked non-nonchalantly.
I crossed my arms sending her glare startling her slightly. "Dining hall... Now!" I growled. I turned and grabbed Lev and Laxus' arms and pulled them with me. I noticed Lev grab Gaj's arm.
"Lu?" Lev asked.
"I need food... I have a headache! And right now I do not want to deal with Erza and Jellal's nonsense!" I growled.
"Told you Bunny gets grumpy when she's hungry..." Gaj snickered.
"You're the next one to go through the wall if you don't can it you over grown trash can..." I said through grit teeth.
"Gaj! Stop teasing her! Remember what happened last time!" Lev scolded Gaj. I kind of was hoping that he would just so I could kick something.
Dining Hall – Normal POV
Lucy dragged Laxus, Levy and Gajeel into the dining hall looking around for everyone they had to track down that morning. Lucy spotted Freed with Mira, Elfman and Evergreen. Lucy dragged the others up to the table with her. She let go of their arms and sat down crossing her arms. Levy and Gajeel sat on her left and Laxus sat on her right, draping his arm over the back of Lucy's chair.
"Oh my... Lucy what's wrong?" Mira asked taking in the blonde's mood. The way Lucy sat and the way her eyes were narrowed just looking at table and the way she ground her teeth together. Mira could tell something was wrong with her friend.
Levy shook her head rapidly silently telling Mira 'No! Don't ask!'. Evergreen took in the appearance of both blondes and notice how Laxus was with Lucy. She raised a questioning eyebrow to Freed. Freed widened his eyes and shook his head saying 'Don't'.
"Gihi! Bunny's just hungry!" Gajeel couldn't keep from laughing. It was way too funny in his eyes.
A tick mark appeared on Lucy's forehead. Her nerves were shot, her headache that she put to the back of her mind since that morning was coming back. Laxus was slightly amused but he could feel her annoyance rising to full on anger. He didn't want nothing else destroyed because someone decided to piss her off. Laxus pressed his hand between her shoulder blades and rubbed soothing circles on her back with his thumb.
This did not go unnoticed by those at the table. Laxus groaned internally at the sparkle in Mira's eye. Evergreen's eyebrows went up to her hairline. Elfman just looked shocked. Freed had no expression since he knew exactly what was going on.
Lucy leaned back into Laxus' touch. "I still hate you..." Lucy muttered under her breath. Laxus just chuckled as he pulled her chair closer to him with his foot.
"Little Strauss is here..." Laxus whispered in Lucy's ear.
Lucy craned her neck back to look behind her which made everything look like it was upside down. "Hey Lis... Feeling better?" Lucy asked.
Lisanna forced a small smile and nodded, "Yeah I'm fine..." Lisanna said as she threw in a small giggle.
Lucy narrowed her eyes at her. "Don't lie to me..." Lucy said through grit teeth. Lucy was pissed because of Natsu's blatant disregard for Lisanna's feelings.
"Lis what's Lucy talking about?" Mira asked. Lucy brought her head up as Lisanna took a seat next to Evergreen. Lucy kept her eyes narrowed on Lisanna silently saying, 'You either tell her or I will'.
Lisanna shuddered slightly. "Oh... Um... It's nothing really Mira..." Lisanna said as she flinched at the look Lucy gave her.
"Why don't I believe you?" Mira said crossing her arms and puffing out her cheek.
"Because you shouldn't..." Lucy said a little too harsh startling both Mira and Lisanna. Before anyone could say or do anything a flash of light appeared next to Lucy leaving behind Virgo.
"Princess, I did as you asked, I took sir Natsu his clothes as well as took him another 20 miles farther out from the resort for his punishment... Do you require anything else?" Virgo asked with a tilt of her head. Mira, Evergreen and Elfman all mimicked Virgo's movements.
"Did he say anything?" Lucy asked.
"He just asked why your treating your mate like this, but I then informed him that you haven't hurt or done anything wrong to Sir Laxus... And he said that he was talking about himself but I corrected him and told him that he was not mated to you princess that he was mated to lady Lisanna..." Virgo said in her monotone voice.
"Anything else?" Lucy said through grit teeth.
"He did wish to continue to argue about it which is when I sent him 20 more miles out through one of my tunnels..." Virgo explained.
Lucy rubbed her temples, she couldn't understand why Natsu kept insisting that he was the one that had bit her. She knew it was Laxus due to the electricity she felt flowing through her veins.
"Thank you Virgo... That will be all..." Lucy said. Virgo disappeared after she bowed. "I swear to Mavis I'm going to kill his ass next time..." Lucy growled out.
"Now that I would like to see... A Bunny kill a Dragon... Hell I'd even pay to see it..." Gajeel said teasingly but quickly snapped his mouth shut when Lucy's eyes narrowed on him. Gajeel gulped. "Now now Bunny I was joking..." Gajeel held his hands up in surrender.
"Gaj... Maybe you should wait till she gets some food into her... Otherwise you'll be her next target..." Levy whispered in Gajeel's ear.
Gajeel nodded frantically. "Yeah good idea..." Gajeel muttered.
"Wait... Did Virgo just say that Natsu Mated with Lisanna? My Little sister Lisanna?" Mira asked. I nodded. "Where is he?" Mira growled.
"Honestly I have no idea where he landed after I hit him... And then Virgo took him another 20 miles out so who the hell knows... Where the hell is everyone!?" Lucy growled. "I'm starving..." Lucy whined.
"Yeah... Lu may have also broke a window and part of the wall in doing so..." Levy said with a nervous laugh scratching the back of her head.
"Lucy!" Mira said in shock.
"What? Natsu was flat out rejecting and dismissing the fact that he did in fact marked Lis... I'm not going to stand for it! She'll go through what I..." Levy smacked her hand over Lucy's mouth effectively shutting her up. Lucy looked at Levy with a raised eyebrow before it dawned onto her why. Lucy could beat herself over the head. What was she thinking about almost letting it slip about Laxus and her. 'Bad enough Virgo did though I don't think anyone noticed they were too interested in Lis and Natsu... Thank Mavis for that...' Lucy internally scolded herself.
Mira cocked her head to the side in confusion. But thankfully the others began showing up. First was Bickslow, Cana and Bacchus next was Gray, Juvia and Meredy and finally Erza and Jellal decided to join them. Everyone took in Lucy's appearance and aura and then decided to sit as far from her as they could without making it look like that's what they were doing.
"Where's Natsu?" Erza asked. Levy quickly shook her head rapidly while doing a cutting motion with her hand by her neck silently saying 'No! Don't ask! Quiet!' causing Erza to cock her head to the side in confusion.
"What? I just asked where Natsu was..." Erza said still clueless.
"He'll be 10 feet underground when I'm done with him..." Lucy grumbled.
"Now what did he do?" Erza asked as she facepalmed. She should have guessed Lucy's mood would be due to something Natsu did.
"Oh nothing too much... Salamander just decided to sneak into Bunny's room sleep there and he also marked Lisanna and for some reason he thinks he actually marked Bunny when Bunny was actually Marked by the Light Socket over there..." Gajeel explained like it was no big deal.
"HE WHAT!?" Erza, Mira, and Elfman all shouted in unison. Lisanna, Levy and Lucy nodded.
"Where is he?" Mira growled as she began shifting into her demon soul form.
Lucy shrugged, "I don't know how far I punched him and then Virgo decided to take him about 20 more miles farther out for being a dense idiot..." Lucy growled.
Everyone blinked as they looked at Lucy. "Lucy... You punched Natsu? And sent him flying? But I thought you could only do that with a kick?" Mira asked as she looked deep in thought as she reverted by to her normal form.
"She used Taurus' Star Dress..." Levy said with a sigh. "Broke the window and some of the wall in doing so too..." Levy added.
All eyes snapped to look at Lucy who was unfazed. She just shrugged, "He deserved it..." Lucy said not caring at the moment.
Before any one could comment further the waitress came over to take the tables order. It happened to be the same waitress as the other day. Laxus groaned internally. He knew that everyone was going to give him shit if he acted like his normal self. And just like last time she came towards Laxus first. Lucy seeing the look in the woman's eyes went to get up to go sit somewhere else. But before she got to walk away she got pulled back and into Laxus' lap. His arms tightened around her waist not letting her get up.
Lucy huffed and just leaned back into him as she crossed her arms. Laxus chuckled as he buried his nose in her hair. The waitress stopped and looked at the scene wide eyed. The waitress grit her teeth thinking she would still win in the end so she put her best smile on and walked right up to Laxus. Laxus was resting his chin on Lucy's shoulder. He watched the waitress walk up to him and stop.
"Hey there handsome, glad to see that you decided to come back here, I bet it's because you missed me huh? Well anyway what can I get you today?" The waitress purred. Lucy rolled her eyes she wanted to get up but Laxus' arm just tightened around her waist even more when she tried.
"Just 1 of everything... What do you want babe?" Laxus asked as he looked Lucy straight in her eyes.
Lucy blinked at his behavior, 'He's not going to flirt like normal?' Lucy thought internally. "Oh.. Um... Mushroom, steak and cheese Omelet with home fries, a bowl of fruit on the side and orange juice..." Lucy said looking back at Laxus.
The waitress wrote it down as she huffed. She was annoyed that Laxus ignored her. She continued around the table to gather everyone's order and then went back to the kitchen.
Lucy raised an eyebrow, "Trying to prove a point?" Lucy said still not convinced that he changed.
"Nothing to prove except to her..." Laxus said resting his chin back on her shoulder as he slid his nose up and down her neck.
"Really?" Lucy looked at him in disbelief. Laxus nodded. Everyone gaped at them. Lucy shook her head. "Suck up..." Lucy muttered.
It was about half an hour when all the food came out but of course the waitress wasn't about to give up although Laxus continued to ignore her. Instead Laxus nuzzled Lucy's neck with a slight purr. Lucy shook her head with a small giggle because it tickled.
"I'll be right back, got to go use the ladies room..." Lucy said as she stood up. She walked away towards the bathrooms. The waitress thought this was the perfect time to strike. But what she overheard when as she was approaching the table made her blood boil even more.
"So, you're finally going to settle down? No more one nighters?" Gajeel asked once Lucy was out of ear range.
"Yeah... She's always meant a lot to me even though I was too stubborn to admit it... I have to face facts she's my mate there's no way around it... Plus I already marked her so there's no going back now... I'm not going to be like that idiot flame brain and deny the one I marked..." Laxus said looking in the direction of the bathrooms. He was already missing her. Though he would never admit it out loud.
"So it's true you did mark Luce?" Meredy asked as she put a grape in her mouth.
Laxus nodded, "Yeah... Not that I remember it thanks to Bacchus..." Laxus said as he glared at Bacchus who sat on the right side of Cana.
"What do you mean 'thanks to Bacchus'?" Gray asked still trying to figure out how the hell he ended up in bed with both Meredy and Juvia.
"The idiot decided to switch out the resorts alcohol with his own special brew..." Cana said through grit teeth. "That's why none of remember what happened last night..." Cana added while violently taking a bite of sausage.
"Oh dear... Again?" Mira asked looking at Bacchus in disbelief. Bacchus just shrugged he wasn't going to deny it. "Well that was why he's been ban from Fairy Tail in the first place he did that to us..." Mira said in a disapproving tone.
"Well... About that..." Bickslow decided he was going to speak up. Everyone looked at him waiting for him to continue. Bickslow took a deep breath. "Well... Me and Bacchus are both kind of Married to Cana..." Bickslow said looking at the table instead of the people at the table.
Everyone was speechless minus Mira who was squealing in delight. Mira was always hoping that Cana would end up with one of them but she was even more excited that she ended up with both of them.
"Wait a minute... How is that even possible?" Gray asked forgetting his situation for now.
"Apparently, me and Bickslow are married legally with an actual marriage certificate... And Bacchus is married to both me and Bickslow through a binding contract... Luce said it was similar to the contracts she makes with her spirits..." Cana said trying her best to explain what Lucy had told her earlier.
The waitress stood there listening. 'So... The blonde is a celestial mage...' The waitress thought internally. She backed away slightly so she wouldn't be seen as she watched the blonde exit the bathroom and was headed straight to her table. The waitress zeroed in on her, she was looking for her keys, all celestial mages carried them on them at all times. But she couldn't find hers anywhere. 'Where could they be?' The waitress asked internally.
Laxus smiled as Lucy approached the table and sat back down next to him much to his disappointment. Lucy actually looked at him when he whimpered. She had to bite back a giggle.
"So, this contract is just as legal as an actual marriage certificate?" Lisanna asked totally curious. She was trying to get her mind off the whole Natsu issue.
Lucy nodded, "Yup... Though the law says you can only be married to one person at a time, the contract acts as a legal document that binds the 3 together till death do they part... And in all honesty... From what Crux said even if Cana and Bickslow would get divorced the contract still binds the 3 together... There's no breaking the contract..." Lucy said stealing a piece of honeydew off Levy's plate nearly getting her hand smacked in the process.
"So what does that actually mean?" Mira asked with hearts in her eyes, she wanted more information on how her ship was sailing.
"It means..." Lucy finished chewing and swallowed what was in her mouth. "Welcome to Fairy Tail Bacchus!" Lucy chirped clearly in a better mood now that her headache was subsiding due to getting food in her system.
Everyone's jaws dropped, all for different reasons. Bacchus hung his head and nodded he didn't like the idea of having to leave his guild.
"Wait till I tell Master! He's going to so happy that we're getting another member!" Mira chirped happily. Lucy internally rolled her eyes.
A flash of light appeared next to Lucy leaving Loke behind. "Princess..." Loke said with a bow. "I have brought the book you had asked Crux for... By the way who is this book for?" Loke asked in true curiosity.
Lucy smirked. "Cana, Bickslow and Bacchus..." Lucy said in a too much of a cheery tone.
Loke raised an eyebrow, he went to open his mouth to say something but closed it and shook his head, "Never mind... I'm not going to ask..." Loke said with a sigh. Loke bit back a chuckle when he heard the faint growl from Laxus. "Oh... I see the over sized bug zapper is still in the possessive stage..." Loke stated with a smirk.
Lucy sighed and nodded, "Yup... Now do you see why I hate dragon slayers..." Lucy said as she shook her head. "Laxus stop growling at Loke..." Lucy whined.
Laxus just huffed and grumbled. Loke let a small chuckle slip. "So speaking of dragon slayers where is..." Loke began to say but snapped his mouth close at is key-holder's aura.
"You even finish that question you're going to need Virgo to help you out of the ground..." Lucy growled.
Loke gulped and looked at the rest of the group. "Now what did that idiot do?" Loke sighed. It always seemed that Natsu had a knack for pissing his key-holder off. Most of the time it was entertaining to watch the mighty dragon slayer get his ass handed to him by the small blonde celestial mage. But he still didn't like how Natsu always disregarded everything that Lucy would say to him.
"Virgo didn't tell you?" Lucy asked with a raised eyebrow.
"No... Now spill, what did ash for brains do now?" Loke asked as he rubbed his temples.
"Where do I even..." Lucy started to say until the dining area door flew open revealing a very angry looking fire dragon slayer. "Great... Just what I fucking need..." Lucy groaned.
"LUCE! Why'd you do that? Mates aren't supposed to do things like that to each other..." Natsu exclaimed with a whine. He didn't understand why Lucy did what she did.
Lucy clenched her fist as she attempted to count down from 10 in her head to try and calm down. But sadly is wasn't working. Laxus could feel her inner turmoil and it wasn't getting any better while Natsu was here running his mouth.
"How could you even do that to me? You're my mate..." Natsu said totally clueless of how angry Lucy was getting. Natsu for the first time was noticing Lucy on Laxus' lap. Natsu growled, "Laxus get off of my Luce..." Natsu said through grit teeth.
Laxus ignored him he was more concerned with calming Lucy down before she decided to murder the dense dragon slayer. Laxus did the only thing he could think of, he decided to nuzzle her neck with a slight purr.
Natsu taking notice to this was getting even angrier. "I said get off her! She's my mate not yours!" Natsu said as he went to throw a punch at Laxus but stopped when Loke grabbed a hold of his fist when he moved in front of Lucy and Laxus. "Loke what the hell!? Why are you protecting him? If anything you should be fighting him with me!" Natsu said a bit too loud.
Loke looked over his shoulder when he felt Lucy calming down. Laxus was calming her down. Which was further proof that Natsu wasn't mated with her or even partially mated to her.
Loke sighed, "Natsu how much of an idiot are you?" Loke asked in all seriousness.
"What?! I'm not!" Natsu yelled defensively.
"You must be, specially if you can't clearly see or feel Lucy's emotions... When even partially mated you should be able to feel your mates emotions..." Loke said as Natsu nodded to confirm it. "Lucy is partially mated to Laxus which is why he can calm her down... As you can see... So, if you're supposedly partially mated to Lucy what do you feel that she's feeling?" Loke asked knowing he couldn't feel Lucy's emotions.
"She feels sad though I don't know why... She doesn't look sad... She feels like her heart is breaking... But she doesn't look like that either..." Natsu said scratching the back of his head in confusion.
Loke looked around the table and noticed Lisanna looking like Natsu described. "Natsu... I believe you are partially mated to Lisanna..." Loke said without looking at him. Natsu went to argue but Loke stopped him with his hand. "Look at Lisanna... Does she look like what you're feeling?" Loke asked.
Natsu looked at Lisanna and saw the sadness and heart break in her eyes. "But how? I smelled Luce last night not Lisanna..." Natsu wondered out loud.
"That's because you were once again trespassing in my room! I found you and Lis both there sleeping NAKED in the bed I slept in! Of course it's going to smell like me!" Lucy said through grit teeth.
Natsu wanted to say something but was cut off.
"Natsu why can't you just face the facts that you're partially mated to little Strauss?" Laxus asked. "Lucy is with me... Considering we both woke up in bed with each other and she had the bite mark on her neck and we were both naked proves that..." Laxus added.
"I just don't get it... Luce was my mate..." Natsu asked confused.
"Salamander..." Gajeel started, "A dragon slayer can have more then one mate... It just depends on who gets bitten first... In this case you had 2 mates, Lisanna, and Bunny... Light socket's only choice was Bunny... It just so happened he got to her first..." Gajeel shrugged his shoulders saying that he wasn't going to argue anymore.
Natsu scratched at his head, it was confusing him to no end. Igneel never said anything about having 2 possible mates. He didn't understand any of it. He looked up at Lisanna and seen the pain written on her face. Natsu sighed as he walked over and sat down next to Lisanna and looked at her with pleading eyes.
"I'm sorry Lis..." Natsu said as he hung his head.
So yeah...
Apparently I have a thing for Cliff hangers...
