Day 3: Collapse / Keeps Getting Back Up
Shinji was so tired.
Didn't people understand that? Couldn't they give him a break?
He was sick of fighting. The Angels wanted to kill him? Big deal. Maybe he wanted to let them.
But he didn't. Every time Unit-01 fell to its knees, he got back up. Every time he walked away from NERV, he came back with his tail between his legs.
Why did they keep making him do this?
Why did he keep doing this?
Was this bravery, or was he just too scared to finally rest?
