drmcgraw186 asks a neat question. "Does Luck remember her familiar?" No, because Lucky was thrown into Nuclear America because of the summoning ritual. As a result, she never met Saito. Louise also doesn't remember Saito because she never summoned him.

In a large cavern on the floating country of Albion. Four men in dark cloaks are chanting. Brandishing their catalysts and muttering forbidden incantations. Wind, Water, Fire, and Earth flew from their wands into the center. One hundred people lay tied up. The spells vaporized the people.

The energies from one of each element, and the souls sacrificed created nothingness. The lost element of Void, and a red wormhole ripped through time and space. The very laws of nature being broken to recreate a Void spell. The men all nearly fell from exhaustion.

The wormhole exploded, and caused the cultists to fly into the cave walls. Two of them dead before impact, their bodies ripped apart. The other two were severely injured. The Wind Mage's bottom half was gone. His blood and entrails spilling from him. A large chunk of the Earth Mage's chest and head were torn off.

All these injuries on the dead and dying mages have one thing in common. It looks like some monster bit into them, and ripped them apart. Red dust, whether it was evaporated blood or leftover energy was anyone's guess.

The Wind Mage gagged as he saw the product of the false summoning. A tall man with a black trenchcoat and small white furs at the collar. Unbuttoned to show he has a blackish yellow turtleneck. As if it was drugged through mud and dirt. A belt buckle was over the man's throat and turtleneck. Connected to that was a black hood over his well groomed ginger hair. On top of the hood is a black, wide brimmed hat.

His black boots were stained with the blood of the innocent and the perpetrators of this summoning. His empty, light blue eyes swept the room. A stoic and cold expression that betrayed no thought or emotion. On his left hand is a mechanical gauntlet with an amber screen, a Pipboy.

He casually walked through the carnage like it didn't even catch his attention. Because it wasn't worth his time. Blood dripped from his sleeves, and he has many bruises along his pale skin. He clearly got out of the fight for his life. Yet a needle came from the Pipboy. He injected it into himself, and his wounds healed.

"Please, help us," The earth mage begged. The Man in Black merely held a bottle with a flaming cloth, burning away like a fuse. He casually tossed it behind him, as the molotov cocktail was ignited by the blood and particles in the air. Causing people to scream as they painfully burned to death.

He slightly turned to see people in wooden cages, men, women, and children of all ages. The fire began reaching the cages as they begged for the Man in Black to help them. He gave a ghost of a smile. A condescending smirk, he is the owner of their lives right now. He stayed and didn't move at all.

He watched all of them die painfully in the fire, except for a harshly burned woman. She was surrounded by the ashes of her friends, family, and kidnappers. The Man in Black approached her slowly. A demon that has all the time in the world to play with it's prey.

He turned some knobs on the Pipboy. His pants and shoes were gone. The woman blanched, as she her clogged and torn throat croaked. He had his way with the woman for some time. Until she was violated in every way he could think of at the time.

His pants were back on, and a dark, worn at his hip. The woman was strung up on a stalagmite. Naked, with semen all over her burned skin. Tied up with the remaning cloth from the ashes of the people. The Man in Black decided to do a little target practice. Six shots erupted from Old Scratch. Hitting the kidney, legs, and arms with perfect accuracy. He reloaded and spun the revolver. Placing it back in the holster.

So he left the cave as the woman died from her wounds, slowly. 'I didn't even need VATS,' He mused in his head. The sun was rising over the floating landmass. Still, after his fun, his pleasure was replaced by a bittercold in his chest. A searing hatred as he recalled his duel with Lucky.

'Perhaps, this place will allow me to find something worthwhile,' He thought as he walked down the mountain. The wind causing his coat to violently billow. He held his hat with one hand as he continued his slow and methodical trek down.

Marko, the Man in Black has come to Lucky's homeworld. Even if he doesn't know it yet. Godspeed when he finds out she is alive, and has formed friends and family here. Because they need all the lucl they can to survive Marko's inevitable wrath.

Back at Tristain Magic Academy, Lucky stared out the window as the sun began to rise. She looked at a softly snoring Louise. "I'll keep you safe, I promise," Lucky swore, to never let the Frosthill Massacre repeat itself. Even though the man who perpetrated that massacre was now in the same world as she.

Lucky put on her Marked Patrol Armor and Marked Beast Helmet. She shook Louise awake, and got her dressed. Louise stared at Lucky with suspicious looks. "What is it Louise?" Lucky asked her past self.

"Why do you look like if my mother and a Germanian had a child?" Louise asked. "No, I am not a bastard child if that's what you're implying. I can't cast magic, no matter how hard I try," Lucky replied.

"That doesn't answer my question," Louise pressed getting off the bed. Putting her hands on her hips as she looked into eyeholes of the helmet. "My home had a, harsh plauge that poisoned the land, air, and people. As such most of us were disfigured or had an appearance change of some sort," Lucky replied with a shrug as she searched through one of her bags.

"Then why haven't any of us heard of it. If our land and air was poisoned. How would this go unnoticed?" Louise pressed, her voice raising. Getting frustrated at the vague answers that don't even give her answers.

"Let it go Louise, it's something that i'm uncomfortable with," Lucky requested as this cold feeling gripped at Louise. As if a demon is standing in her room. Poised to strike her down in the most painful way possible.

In fear for her life, Louise dropped the questions for now. She will find out, that's something she will make sure of. Louise and Lucky left the dorm room. Lucky having a machete gladius at her hip.

Despite how well she's prepared, Lucky's luck may run out as she is unaware of Marko's entrance in Halkeginia. Everyone she loosely knows is in grave danger because one monster has found the home of his greatest opponents.

So, I introduced a lot of concepts in this chapter.

First off, Marko, for those of you unaware. He is the main antagonist from Someguy's New Vegas Bounties Trilogy mods. Honestly, he's one of my favorite aspects about the mod. He fits in so well that I always play those mods every new save file.

Despite how awesome New Vegas Bounties is, it's been only used in two other fanfictions on this site. I'm giving us New Vegas Bounties fans some representation.

Why did Marko have to rape the woman? Because he can, he's already raped in his backstory. So I decided to use that to show how uncaring he is about people's lives.

For his summoning, It's something I thought of. Giving some insight into possible dark magic that isn't touched upon in the canonical storyline of Zero no Tsukaima.

I call it the 'Void Recreation' ritual. It requires four mages who each specialize in one of the four elements, sans Void. Then they need to all chant at the same time, and at the same level. Pouring equal amounts of Willpower.

Then, the sacrifices, when the magics collide onto the gathered sacrifical lambs. Their souls are harvested by the Willpower and a void spell is casted.

Here are the caviats, the sacrifices must be living humans or elves. The amount of bodies start in the hundreds, and going up to the thousands. This is why Halkeginia can't use this method all the time. Because it's not only heretical to their religion, but the casualties to cast a simple Void spell is too high.

I do plan on exploring more Dark Magic in the future of this book. People are free to borrow them for their stories. Since I wish to add to the lore.

Lucky hasn't lied to Louise, she tells the truth. However, she excludes details and context. Such as her inability to cast magic, and the fact she isn't a bastard child.
