Battle against Naraku's Servants
They ran outside to see the town citizens been blasted away and saw two figures. One was an evil but attractive looking woman holding a fan, wearing a dancer's kimono and another is a empty looking girl wearing a white kimono and holding a mirror.
Kagome pointed out. "Kagura and Kanna. Naraku's incarnations. What could do they be doing here?"
Naruto shrugged. "Only one way to find out."
He walked to the pair and asked. "May I ask what is it you're doing here?"
Kanna flatly replied. "We are here on orders from Lord Naraku to capture Kagome. She has something worthy of our interest."
Naruto shook his head and said. "I'm afraid I'll have to ask you to leave. She's under my protection."
Kagura shot back snootily. "Your protection isn't going to mean anything when we're done with you."
Naruto's voice became cold as he pulled his Basculus out of his cassock. "This warning will not be repeated."
Kagura fired back. "Agreed. We won't bother telling you to back off anyway." She and Kanna readied their weapons and spells.
Kagura casted her wind attack at Naruto only for him to catch it, set it on fire and deflect it. Kanna used her mirror to cast a fire attack at Naruto. He blocked it using a water wall.
Kagura used her wind attack again only for him to deflect it back to her, causing her to stagger. This allowed Naruto to charge at her using his Basculus as a melee weapon. He bashed her head with the tip of his staff but Kagura kicked him away. Kanna summoned a small demon to distract Naruto only for Naruto to club it in the face with his Basculus and set it on fire, killing it.
Kagura blasted Naruto with a wind blast, causing him to stagger back but he blocked the next one and countered it with fire. He did a beautiful spin and summoned a bigger fire at Kagura, she was unable to counter it and was burned badly.
Kanna summoned some souls to cover for Kagura but Kikyo aided her god by cleansing them. Naruto finished the job by knocking Kanna in the head with his Basculus.
Naruto walked to Kagura who was lying on the ground and kneeled to her. "What are you doing here?"
Still shaking from the burns, Kagura spat out. "We were sent by Naraku to capture that girl Kagome in order to control her and seize the crystals she has on her possession."
Naruto stood up and ordered. "Well it's done. Tell your master that your mission has failed."
Kanna tiredly teleported to her while she asked. "Who should I say you are?"
Naruto shrugged. "You don't. He'll know."
Kanna and Kagura disappeared soon after.
Miroku stormed to Naruto and quietly demanded. "You had them at your mercy and you choose to let them go?! We could've dealt Naraku a mortal blow."
Naruto answered. "It's not their time yet." Miroku fumed at this cryptic answer but stayed silent.
Naruto went back to the group and said. "Kikyo and I would like to leave now. We thank you for your time."
Kagome called out to them. "It's nice being with you guys! See you around!"
Everybody waved out to the two as Kikyo and Naruto left.
