Hi back again with another chapter, I've been so lazy and occupied that I honestly didn't feel like writing so it might reflect on this chapter. Again don't expect constant attention to this story as it is only for stress relief, enough talk let's get to it.

School had ended already and many of the students were starting to head home. It was no different for the two siblings, both were already starting to exit the premises and started walking home.

Both seemed to enjoy the quiet walk and didn't really have much of a problem since the weather while cloudy It didn't give off any rainy vibes or such. Once both made it home they were surprised to be greeted by their mother, it was odd since they were sure she wouldn't be back until much later.

"Hey mom what are you doing here?" Elaine asked.

"What I can't come back to my own house?" Illyana said with a playful frown.

"No mom, it's just we didn't expect you te be hear so early, since we thought your shift didn't end until ten" Elias answered.

"I'm just teasing you both kids. I actually was given permission to leave early since work was pretty calm and they had another person that could cover for me" she said with a tired smile. "Oh now that I think about it do you two mind going out to town and buying some things for dinner?" Illyana started rummaging around her purse looking for her debit card. "I'm craving some homemade hamburgers and I'm pretty tired so I would really love help right now " she said with an embarrassed blush.

"Of course we'll help out mom, we know how tough it must be with the new position you have" Elias comforted his mother."just tell us what you need" he slightly smiled.

"Thank you both, I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. I need some beef and you both know the basic vegetables, oh Eli can you be a dear and go to a book store and see if you can get me the latest book from my favorite series please?" Illyana asked.

She gave Elaine sixty dollars for the groceries and a bit extra just in case they both wanted something, for Elias she gave him her debit card since he was less probable to lose it.

"Don't worry mom we'll be back soon" Elaine said and started skipping dramatically out the house.

"Oh dear, please make sure your sister doesn't buy a lot of her reese's cups, we both know how much she loves them and the aftermath of when she eats a lot of them" Elias nodded and received a kiss on the head from Illyana and then left to catch up with his sister.

"Remember Elaine we only need the bare essentials, meat and vegetables for moms awe and some burgers. I'm going to hit the book store and see if I can find mom's drug literature, I swear I don't know the appeal of angsty romance novels" Elias rolled his eyes at his mom's taste for books.

"I know Eli you don't have to keep reminding me for the tenth time, and if you ever read thos books then you would know how beautiful and romantic they are" Elaine crossed her arms and pouted. "Either way we have enough money for the things we need and some to spare for us...I mean unless you don't want anything do you?" She cutely looked down while poking both index fingers.

This was her tactic, look cute and hope her brother was still wrapped around her finger...and he still was.

"No Elaine I don't want anything, just don-" he was interrupted when his sister left quickly running while happily giggling "go crazy with your reese's cups..." Elias sighed and shook his head. One of these days her teeth are gonna fall out from those things he thought.

Well at least things were calm right now. No Jessica annoying him with her shrieking voice, no mike acting like a lost dog, no cullens to get on his nerves, everything was just calm and peaceful and truth be told he was happy when it was like this. He would see people wearing sweaters and would mentally smile since he barely felt the cold at all, others would watch in awe at how a teen could have no cover from the cold and not be shivering combine that with his unusual appearance and all eyes were on him.

Reaching the book store he noticed something very unusual, outside at the corner of the door was a teenage guy standing almost impossibly still, he had dark brown hair was pale than any normal person and was someone who women would consider extremely attractive, all that wasn't weird what was unusual is the fact that this guy had blood red eyes and was wearing some type of deep dark red cloak with a hood and some weird fancy looking clothing.

Elias couldn't help but feel weirded out by the whole getup and his mind instantly turned to the only thing he could rationally explain what he was seeing...a cosplayer, who knew people in forks liked dressing up. He decided not to dwell on the stranger outside of the bookstore and just started walking towards the stores door, he stopped to turn the door handle and felt eyes on him, he slowly lifted his gaze to the right and saw that the teen was staring intently at him. Normally this would be weird but he thought maybe he wanted something.

"Good afternoon are you outside because the store isn't open yet?" He asked the teen.

"Hmm, no it's open go on inside" the teen smiled eerily.

"Ok thanks I guess" Elias entered the store and saw it was filled with many shelves and columns all lined up with many books, it was a cozy bookstore.

"Welcome to all literature, if there's anything we can help you with please let us know" the lady at the cash register said while never looking up from her magazine.

"Thank you I'm just going to browse around for the latest book in the peach passion series" Elias said with a blush on his face, never would he thought he was going to look for a cheesey romance book in his life.

"Oh it just came in yesterday, check the romance or drama section I don't remember where my other coworkers organized them sorry" she apologized while turning her magazines page.

"It's fine and thank you" he walked off to the romance section first and noticed that the fantasy section was next to it. He thought about it a lot and knew Elaine would take her time so he decided to look for the Harry Potter books and see if he could find the fourth one, he hadn't been able to buy it before they all left to forks. "Might as well have some fun myself" he said to himself.

He walked to the corner of the science fiction section and saw a very peculiar sight, there was a girl who was relatively short on an Alice Cullen level but the difference was that this short girl had blonde golden hair and was equally pale just like the guy outside the store, she was also wearing the same type of clothing that he was but in dress form along with the same cloak around her shoulders. The sight was a bit comedic to be honest since she was on her toes trying to reach for a book on the very top of the shelf and it seemed that her arms and fingers just weren't long enough so he decided he'd to his good deed for the day. Walking up behind her he reached out and took the book she was reaching for.

"Here I saw you reaching for this and thought you could use a little help" he extended his hand with the book towards her and she turned around to face him, it was surprising how she was really as short as Alice but what surprised him the most was the fact that she also had blood red eyes and an evangelical looking face, she was very beautiful but now that he thought about it she looked like guy from outside or maybe the guys looked like the girl he was staring at, all he could think was damn cosplay twins.

"Thank you very much" the short girl responded, she looked just about the same age as him but well so did the other guy outside. She smiled at him and he immediately felt a shiver go down his spine, her eyes were looking intently at him and her smile all of a sudden seemed very creepy unnervingly so. "How kind of you to help a maiden like me" she smiled even more creepily while keeping her penetrating gaze on him.

"Don't worry about it, just thought you needed some help" he said with a low tone, a moment of silence reigned both of them he just couldn't help think what was it with this girl she just wouldn't take her eyes of him to even blink in fact he didn't think she was blinking at all. " hey you like Harry Potter too?" He just realized the book he handed to her was the very same book he was looking for, maybe she would be alright in his eyes after all if you liked Harry Potter than you had good taste in his book that and he just wanted the weird quiet to end.

Her eyes slightly widened and looked down at the book she had clutched in her hands and her smile went from creepy to a bit less creepy. "Yes I do I actually think this is one of my favorite pieces of human literature " she answered in a smooth silky voice. Wow she was really going in for that whole cosplay attitude too. "It's honestly a very interesting and entertaining series I just picked up" she kept talking with her creepy smile. All of a sudden her eyes shot up to look at him quicker then he thought possible for a person. "Tell me who are you?" She asked. "I've never seen you around here before " she smiled even wider at him. It was pretty smile...and creepy at the same time in his opinion.

"Well my family and I we just moved here from Phoenix just a day ago" he answered while never breaking eye contact, he felt it would be a mistake if he did he just didn't understand why. "My name is Elias Vaan, what's your name?" He asked

"I'm Jane, just jane" she said with an ominous tone.

"Well ummm... did you know they made a movie about these books? " he awkwardly said, damn his non existent social skills.

"Oh people made a movie!" All of a sudden her whole attitude and facial expression shifted into one of amazement and curiosity.

"Oh uh yeah I have all of them and watched them already I was just interested in reading the books to see the differences in them" he finished with a small grin.

"Really now?" She went back fo smiling creepily. "And if I said I'm interested I'm watching those movies?" She closed the almost non existent distance between them even more.

Now Elias wasn't a complete moron to when it comes to women. "I'd tell you to go buy them" he quickly shot her down with a straight cold look on his face. Just because they had something in common didn't mean he was the type to invite a stranger to his home just to watch a movie no matter how beautiful said stranger was.

"Oh really?" She got even closer now, to the point where her chest was touching his. " come now maybe I can help you change your mind, I've been told o can be very convincing " in that moment her tone shifted to a very menacing one now all sirens in his head were blurting out loud for some reason, her eyes turned much more sharper and gained a predatory look in them. No this tiny women wouldn't get the better of him, if she thought she could seduce or intimidate him all for a couple of movies she was lazy to go and buy then it would be on his terms.

With renewed confidence his eyes turned from cold to a steely gaze and poker her forehead, her eyes widened from that and her hands lifted to touch the spot where he poked. He took a couple of steps back and looked her dead in the eyes.

"If you really want to watch them that bad then here is my address, my condition to you is that your buying all the snacks" he said with a very serious tone. If things were going to be done then it would be his way...plus he wouldn't say it out loud but he was internally flustered from her attempt at seduction and a bit frightened for some reason, it didn't help that she was really beautiful probably not on the same level as Rosalie Hale but still. "I'm free on saturday at any time but I'm warning you those movies a really long especially since I have the uncut versions" he said in an attempt to make her back out to say he was smiling smugly would be an understatement.

"Ok I wouldn't worry about time since I have it in spades" she quickly answered. His face lost his smug look and turned into one of disbelief, this pretty creepy girl actually accepted.

"What!" He exclaimed. "You want to go to some strangers home, pay for food just so you can watch some movies?" He was in total disbelief this girl couldn't be that careless could she?.

"Of course, I really want to see those movies now" she answered without hesitation.

"But aren't you worried about going to some strangers house?" He look at her oddly " you don't even know my intentions" he said trying not to sound like he wanted to hurt her.

She smiled wider again with a hungry look in her eyes, was it just him or did hery red eye contacts just get a shade darker?.

"I don't think I should worry about being in trouble with a stranger I can very well take care of my self and besides you look trustworthy enough" she fixed her gaze directly to his eyes."I think me and you can get along just fine" her tone was eerily calm now with a hint of a purr.

"Y-yes well you have my adress then" he looked at his phone and realized he had spent a bit of time in the bookstore, enough to the point that Elaine would probably be waiting for him to return to together. "I have to go now um jane" he said her name a bit uncomfortably. " I guess I'll maybe see you in two days, by the way I like your cosplay outfit, I'm guessing the guy outside is your brother right?

"Cosplay...of course I just love dressing up, and yes he is my twin brother" she giggled, even her giggle sounded like little bells and a bit creepy too. "I will see you two days from now, farewell Elias Vaan" she smiled widely at him and just stared. He nodded and went to find the book for his mother.

After paying for it he noticed that the girl at the cash register stared at his face intensely, he rolled his eyes discreetly and figured she was wondering what was up with him.

He exited the store and realized Jane's supposed brother was staring at him the moment he exited the store, creepy but he guessed he must have seen him talking to his sister, he opened his mouth and said " you caught my sister's eye huh?" He smiled condescendingly "I truly pity and wouldn't want to be in your position" he chuckled rather darkly.

All Elias did was look at him and slowly start walking away. Luckily for him the supermarket wasn't that far and upon arriving he noticed Elaine was standing there waiting for him with her hands full of shopping bags, he went over to help her and took some of them.

"We're taking a cab back bro because there is no way I'm hauling half of this back to our house on our feet" she said with a tired huffy. "Did you get mom's book?" She asked.

"Yeah I actually did" he said in a very subdued voice. Elaine noticed but didn't comment on it since she thought maybe he was tired.

Once the signaled a can towards the they got in and started giving directions to their home, hopefully their craving would be satisfied since Illyana made the best burgers in they're opinion.

Back at the bookstore the girl known as Jane didn't notice her brother advancing towards her. She was lost in her own world of thoughts right now.

A human, a simple weak fragile and pathetic human had talked back to her and even rejected her advances, to stop it off he even challenged her silently. Most human men would be captivated by her beauty and be led to a painful and slow demise. But this human, this boy with unusual features she noticed and oh she noticed how could she not notice his snow white hair and deep ice blue colored eyes, but those features were what made him stand out to her. He looked incredibly beautiful and he wasn't even one of her kind now she could just imagine how much more beautiful he would look if he was turned, the mere thought that someone had dared to give her conditions for something was exciting in itself, she looked at the adress he gave her and realized how close is it was to "them". The way is eyes had look cold and the lost there confidence when she made her advances only for them to regain there steel was impressive in her opinion, at first she thought she would get an easy meal with him bit something about him captivated her, maybe it was his appearance or the fact that he had a backbone, perhaps it was how she noticed his body temperature was even lower than a normal human when they brushed against each other. Either way Saturday would be fun for her at least.

She smiled at the thought of dominating him and turning his confidence into a sniveling heap of a human, first she would indulge him in his so called snacks just to fatten him up for when she had her way with him, then she would torture his family in front of him while he begged only to watch how she slowly ended them one by one, he would be last the greatest meal of her life, she might even let him indulge in her only to thank him for introducing his all you can eat buffet family to her and for the movies which she would gladly reposition.

"So I take it you won't share the free food you just found?" Her brother asked.

"Sorry Alec but finders keepers" she giggled menacingly. "But we can share a meal right now, after all no ones around to notice some poor random woman who works at a bookstore to suddenly dissapear" she smiled cruelly. Both turned their gaze to the lady a the register and walked towards her.

"May I help you two with something" she kindly asked.

"Yes you see my brother and myself here are very hungry, do you think you can point us to the closest restaurant?" She asked innocently.

The lady turned around and started giving directions. "Of course just go straight down this stree-" she was cut off as she felt a hand cover her mouth and with a quiet scream of pain she felt as the two twins bit her neck on both sides and started draining her of her blood, all she could ever do was lightly squirm before becoming absolutely still and flopping down to the ground.

"Well that was fun" Alec said.

"I would have preferred to play a little but that human worked up my appetite" she smiled while licking her lips that had some blood remaining on them.

"I truly pity that boy" Alec chuckled.

"I'll make sure he enjoys his time alive, after all I must be grateful to him for what he's offering me" she smirked.

Both decided to dump the body in the garbage container outside and left back to their home. All the way Jane just had an excited and vicious smile.

Back home Elias and Elaine helped their mother ser up the table for the food, they would have helped make the burgers but Elias was complete shit at cooking and Elaine was very good but Illyana preferred to cook by herself. Once they al sat down and started eating their mother asked them how their day went.

"Mom you won't believe it but Eli made friends today!" Elaine exclaimed and Illyana gasped.

"That's great honey I'm proud of you" she said sweetly.

"Wha- they aren't my friends they're annoyances and a big headache if I've ever had one, first I was enjoying myself and all of a sudden a tiny gnome appeared and started bugging my only for a giant walking talking amplifier to appear" he didn't notice he started ranting. "Then this girl who thinks she's a little princess just because she's pretty starts acting all pissy with me" he finished taking a harsh bite into his burger.

"Oh Elias give them a chance, they probably just want to be friends with you for real" his mother said with a gentle look. " what about you Elaine how was your day?"

"Oh mine was ok, this boy Edward cullen was a bit of a jerk in the beginning but then he apologized, I mean my day wasn't that eventful" she smiled and noticed the frown on her brother's face when she mentioned Edward.

"Did he give you trouble" he asked in his protective brother mode. "Because of he did tell me and I'll make sure he doesn't bother you, If I'm the white like the moon then i have to protect my sister the sun" he said with a proud smile only to receive a deadpan look from his sister.

"No bro everything is cool" she rolled her eyes at his overprotective nature, still she wouldn't change it for anything.

"Well I am pleased to tell you all that I met one of the most skilled doctors at forks" Illyana announced. "His name is Carlisle Cullen" Elaine looked surprised and Elias almost choked on his food.

He was on bad terms with the kids belonging to a guy who was possibly his mother's boss.

"Umm mom is he related to Edward cullen and the rest of his siblings?" he asked with caution.

"Why yes he is their adoptive father, it's because of him that I got recommended for head nurse hear" she smiled proudly.

Shit he was technically her boss.

"Oh Eli did you bet my book " she asked hopefully.

"Yeah mom I left your smut novel on the couch" he smiled and his mom pouted while grumbling about it not being smut put an innocent romance novel, yeah right and he was a park ranger at forks

"Did you find anything you liked at the bookstore son?" She asked.

"Well not really I was looking for the goblet of fire but then I met this gir-" shit on a golden covered toilet, how could he forget to tell his mom how was he even going to tell her?.

Both Elaine and her mother were surprised that Elias choked on his words, he never does that he always goes straight to the point. For him to cut off like that is a thing that never really happens so now their curiosity was peeked. Elaine and her mother heard him almost complete the word girl they were sure and they would not let this go no matter what, so now it was mother-daughter tag team gossip time. With a mischievous smile both started to ask questions.

"Oh brother dear did I just hear you say you met a girl?" Elaine smirked.

"My oh my, has my son suddenly found a girl he likes?" Illyana asked in a sing song voice.

Elias started tu blush faintly, he could not believe what was happening right now.

"No mom it's not that, it's just a met this girl all of a sudden and we talked for a bit and it ended in me..." he hesitated to speak since this was the first time he admitted to interacting and even inviting another person to his house and a very beautiful girl no less. " I invited her to watch the Harry Potter movie's here mom" he finished with a blush. "I wanted to ask you if it was ok?" He asked with a more noticeable blush.

To say they were stunned was an understatement, both had mouths agape and couldn't formulate a word or even a thought, to Illyana it was beautiful to watch her son start to branch out and now he was inviting a girl. "Of course she can come son, I'm guessing it's on Saturday since it's the only time other than Sunday that you have free and I know you like to do nothing on sundays so it must be on Saturday, hopefully I can meet her since I have a free day too" she easily deduced and accepted his request. She was very happy for her son she just hoped this girl was the one for him.

Elaines thoughts were much different yes she was happy for him but she couldn't help feel a little jealous, Elias and she did almost everything together, they protected each other, the watched anime and movies together, they had almost the same likes and dislikes in music, she would even agree when people said that they were like the moon and the sun total opposites but very united in their special way. She was happy in the end but no hussy would ever replace her for pizza Sunday that was for sure.

"I'm happy bro, I told you you would make new friends and now look at you inviting girls over what's next a harem of girls?" She laughed and felt odd as if she jinxed something...Meh probably it's just her imagination.

"No sis I won't date anyone since no one has managed to get my attention, I just don't see myself being boyfriend material. Anyways it's getting late and we both have school tomorrow and mom has work" he stood up and started washing his plate once he was finished he brushed his teeth and started heading to bed upstairs he was followed by his mom and sister.

"Goodnight son, just try to remember to give everything a chance you never know how life can surprise you dear" she kissed his forehead and entered her room.

"Goodnight bro make sure to brush your teeth when your crush comes over" she laughed and quickly went to her room before Elias could chase her and tickle her to death, that was his punishment for her.

Once he was in bed he thought about Jane, could he really have something else other than friendship could he even have friends, would he be a good friend?. She was beautiful no doubt but something about her just put him off, he wouldn't admit it but her eyes might have had contact lenses but even then her entire body language irradiated danger and seduction, but most of all her smiles alternated between creepy and curious a terrible combination but he supposed that was how she was he just hope she didn't end up being too judgement-

Wait! He just realized that she never commented on his appearance she must have noticed how could she not, but all the time they interacted she just looked him and the eye and smiled at him, maybe...maybe they could be friends, maybe there were people who weren't superficial and maybe he could be friends with Alice and Emmett, she seemed nice he guessed. Gods he was being taken out of his shell with each day that passed and he didn't know if he was happy or terrified. Only time will tell if this is all for the best.

That's it guys sorry if I took to long to those who read this story if anyone even reads it, but anyways I'm sure you've all noticed I changed Jane's and Alec's ages because I read that they were both turned at a young age and that would just be weird, no lolis for Elias sorry. Anyway I've read this awesome harry Potter fanfiction named reborn but justbored21 and it was amazing, he would make little comedic omakes at the end so I'm going to try my hand at a bit of comedy here so please if you like them let me know with your comments.

Omake 1

"And if I said I wanted to watch said movies what would you say?"Jane pushed herself close to him to the point where space was non existent.

"I'd say step a little and respect social distancing, also why aren't you wearing a mask like everyone, can't you see covid is still around? He pulled out a spare plain mask and put it on her forcefully.

"Wha- no one wears masks besides me and my brother don't need them" she turned and looked out the window only to see Alec buying a facemask with cartoony vampire fangs on them from a vendor.

"You were saying?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Alec wait buy me one too!"

Omake 2

Leah Clearwater couldn't believe what was happening, how In the hell did she end up being dragged by some white haired boy with a collar and leash.

"I want to keep her" Elias said with no tone for argument.

"Son no...just no, have you seen it's size" his mother said.

"Please she's not that big?" He asked.

"She is towering over you what do you mean not that big?!" she countered.

"Please?" he said as if it fixes everything

His mother just walked away

"That means yes, I guess I'll name you...princess"

Leah shuddered at that name. "Please someone save me" she thought.
