Still Waiting For You
His eyes could keep her alive for another century, but then his words broke her heart. She tried walking ahead but a part of her stood there waiting, waiting that someday things would get better.
A part of her heart is always stupid, always beautiful. People are gone, but their aura remains. There is nothing for him to return to, but she still believes in those empty promises, she still craves for the moments they had, she just don't want to leave those memories on the shelf to gather dust. They spent 3 years together. Holding each others hand while crossing the street, wiping each others tears when any difficult situation came up, kissing under the moonlight on terrace. It all just a memory now. It's quite painful to carry the burden of loosing someone special and then try to smile in front of everyone like nothing happened in her life. No matter how much we try, how much we want...some stories just don't have a happy ending !!
