Kristin: Yes, there is a side effect to the witch's spell on them and it will be revealed in the further chapters.
Klaus is still the beast and Elena wants the best of all worlds, she doesn't want to loose any of her love interests, eventually she will know who she loves most and then leave the others but not anytime soon.
... Chapter 5...
"The last time" he raises an eyebrow, "Oh come on Katerina" he wraps the sheet on his waist and walks to her, tugging her hair behind her ear he says, "You know this was our first time right" he smirks on seeing how pale her face is, "Or could it be Elena that you were on vervain, you slept with me willingly last time, just like you slept with me willingly this time and maybe that's the reason you are pale"
"So you knew" she asks in disbelief.
"I knew from the start sweetheart, I knew it from the minute I kissed you" she hates the smug he has on his face.
"What were you trying to prove by this?" he smirks and looks at her as though mocking her.
"Nothing love, I was just playing your game with you" she doesn't understand what he means.
"My game" she questions eye brows raised.
"Yes, your game sweetheart, the one in which you pretend that you slept with me because I gave you no choice while the truth was you were drawn to me, not before the unison but after that, you were so drawn to me that you couldn't resist me and when I kissed you in the car you just gave in to the lust you felt for me or I would say you still feel for me" he makes her tensed, angry, frustrated, she is a mix of emotions unable to decide what to say to this but then answers.
"Stop it, I don't feel anything for you, not even lust. I blamed it on you because I thought compelling a woman to sleep won't be such a big thing for you" She says raising her voice a little.
"You think so low of me while you are the one in love with two vampires while sleeping with me as a third, what shall I think of you and given the sounds I heard of Katerina and Stefan, I know you haven't broken up with him yet despite our unison which should have bound you to me and only me." He accuses her.
"My relationship with the Salvatores is none of your concern, you do not get to lecture me on that" she justifies herself.
"Well as a matter of fact I do love; your behavior raises a question, tell me how would your Salvatore boys react were they to find out you and I are together, or tell me how would Bonnie feel when she learns you are shacking up with me while you are the reason Damon turned her mom into a vampire."
"You tell me, what Caroline would think of you when she knows this." He stops for a moment then vamps to her.
He holds her head and fixes her gaze with his, "No" she says but he doesn't give her time to even blink, "You will forget our time together, you will forget sleeping with me both times, all you will remember is that you are married to me, and you cannot keep any relationships with your lovers now that you are mine."
The compulsion works, "Go home Elena, I'll be waiting for you to invite me into your house, into your lake house and to every other place you can hide from me."
She repeats his words and he seems pleased, after he is done with her, she comes to her senses and thinks why does she have the smell of sex lingering all over her, she looks at Klaus whose lower half is covered only with a sheet and he is staring her.
She turns to walk away from him but he grabs her wrist and pulls her to him and kisses her cupping her face, claiming her once again, because no matter how furious he was with her he wanted her yet again, he didn't want to let her go. Elena couldn't resist him, not even this time, she gives in to hi, to his kisses as easily as water flowing down a hill.
He breaks the kiss to look at her, with the same want in her eyes for him as he has for her, he picks her up bridal style and lays her on the bed, "Klaus" she whispers, "I have to go home"
"What's the hurry love, I said go home, I didn't say when, well that's the loophole you see" he lays above her and kisses her neck making her moan, "I'll take you home myself"
They do it again, the third time, just that this time Elena exhausts herself and before she shuts her eyes Klaus asks, "Why did you let me do this to you"
"Because it felt so right when you touched me, because everything felt so right, now that you have made me yours, every other's touch feels like dirt to me, dirt which should be removed, and when you touch me, it feels like rose petals falling from the sky and I so want to drown into it and I hate the fact the I love this, I love to be here with you than be near someone else"
With those words escaping her mouth she finally falls to sleep, curled on her left side, Klaus lays beside her facing her back, his arm wrapped over her stomach holding her close to him, her back pressed to his chest, only a sheet covering both of them. "Sweet dreams Elena." He says to her exhausted form, kisses her hair and falls to sleep too.
They don't realise how much time has passed and their exhausted sleep is broken by the noise of a door breaking open. They wake up and turn towards the door, Klaus sits up resting his back on the head rest, "Ah, so the cavalry has arrived to pick their girl." He says addressing Bonnie Stefan and Damon who are at the door of his bedroom.
Elena sits up next to Klaus pulling the sheet to the top of her breasts by one hand and looks at them, "you guys, here"
"Elena" Bonnie says, "Stefan found out it was Katherine when he saw her daylight bracelet, Katherine ran away immediately and when he couldn't find you any where he came to me, I cast a locator spell and we found you here."
Klaus puts a hand across her collarbone and pulls her towards him smirking at her friends, "well you can see she is perfectly fine"
He places a kiss on the side of her head and says, "and perfectly satisfied too, ain't I right Elena"
Elena is mute, she doesn't know what to say in this situation, and she is utterly shocked too.
