Chapter 5

*tags to 3x8 *

It was 2am in the morning. I was in bed and Ziva was in bed with me. I lay there trying to figure out how it happened. All I knew was that it happened really fast and I really liked this woman. After a few hours of thinking and trying to recall what happened after we came home, I still couldn't remember anything and Ziva started snoring like there was no tomorrow. 'Oh great. A woman who snores like a drunken sailor who overdosed on sleeping pills.' I thought frustratedly.

"Ziva… Shhhhhh." I whispered. Hoping to quiet her down but not wake her. She stopped snoring and I was glad... She stopped snoring for two seconds and started another round of snoring all over again. The only difference was that it was louder than before.

"Oh come on you're killing me here!!!" I said trying to overrule the deafening sound coming from my new girlfriend. My voice was not nearly as loud as her snores.

Shushing didn't work so I tried to use the snores as my lullaby and a memory recaller.

Then it came back to him.

*Flashback*

We had a long walk around. I showed her the Washington monument, the Tidal Basin and the national gallery. She only got to see the outside because there wasn't enough time to see it all. I promised to give her the complete tour of D.C inside out when the time was right.

I offered to let her stay at my house where I would sleep on the couch and she the bed. She insisted that she had a small apartment to stay in and would save me the trouble but I assured her that there was enough room to house two in my apartment. She agreed to stay with me but only barely. We walked all the way back to my apartment. By the time we reached my doorstep, my feet were exhausted. I could only assume that Ziva's were too. I showed her around.

"This is the kitchen, my fridge is empty but my mini bar is stocked… This is the bedroom… The bathroom… the living room…."

I was giving her an entire tour of my sanctuary but she didn't seem to be listening to me. Moreso staring at me blankly. Despite the fact that she wasn't listening, I continued 'showing her around'

"I have over two hundred channels. HBO, ESPN, The History Channel. The entire Jason Bourne collection if you're interested…" I pulled out the box of Jason Bourne DVDs but I stopped when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I stood straight to find Ziva standing there. Still in her beautiful silk dress. She led me to the bedroom. At that moment, I knew what was about to happen.

"There's only one thing I'm interested in right now." She said seductively.

I stared into her coffee brown eyes with pleasure. We leaned in closer and closer and eventually, our lips smashed together and then all hell broke loose. She groaned and I moaned with pleasure. She undid her dress and it fell down past her shoulders and onto the floor. Still breathing each other's breath. We were both desperate to keep one another from breaking apart. I hauled one of her legs up around my waist and she lifted her other and locked her feet together around my hips. I carried her to the bed. We still hadn't broken apart yet. She kissed hard. Harder than I thought she could. I have never enjoyed kissing someone so much. We finally broke apart because Ziva needed to say something.

"Too much clothing." She breathed on my neck.

She helped me strip down to my boxer shorts but no further. We kissed for minutes on end. Only taking breaks when breathing was necessary. We kissed until we both had no energy left. We broke apart when we were both unconscious.

*End of flashback*

By the time the memory ended, I was already fast asleep. I could no longer hear Ziva's loud and deafening snores but I was woken by the ringing of my cell phone. I needed sleep. So I was hoping to cancel out the constant vibrating that coursed through my wooden nightstand with my pillow and clamped it over my ears. When the vibrating didn't stop I answered it.

"What?!" I yelled a little too loudly. Ziva stirred slightly and I clenched my teeth hoping she wouldn't wake.

"I apologize for calling so early Tony but I need a SITREP."
