I, know, it's been five days since I last updated this, apologize for the wait. I was updating more stories, because I'm trying to get into the mood of writing more multi-chaps.
And I also want to thank the people who reviewed for your opinions. It's very appreciated :D
Story time! I hope you enjoy.
The next day, Rogue woke up to find Frosch gone.
He panicked. "Frosch? Where'd you go?"
There was a note on a nearby table.
It was written in a foreign language. Rogue couldn't read it, but could recognize a few numbers near the end of the note.
They read:
1467
"1465...What does that mean?" Rogue pondered. "What is this note anyway? I must translate this!"
Rogue raided the Magic Library's books. He'd take a look at a few of the pages, then toss it aside if he didn't need it. "This looks unnecessary... Not this one either... I don't need this one... Useless... This one has nothing to do with foreign languages... Same with this one..."
"Oh hey, Rogue, I didn't expect to see you here. Are you looking for a book?"
"Hm?" The dragon slayer looked up.
It was Levy, the bluenette from Fairy Tail who used Solid Script Magic.
"Oh. Hello," greeted Rogue. "And yes,"
"Need help?" Levy offered.
"Thank you, I would like that very much,"
Levy smiled. "Sure, no problem,"
"When I woke up, Frosch was gone and I found this note on a nearby table. I'm fairly sure that Frosch didn't write this because she doesn't know any weird, unrecognizable languages. I'm trying to find a book to help me translate this note," Rogue provided the note to Levy. "And the only thing I recognize is a few numbers at the bottom. It says 1467, but that's all I can read,"
"I don't blame you, I don't recognize this language either," Levy observed, squinting at the mysterious note.
"I don't know what those numbers are. But I thought, perhaps Frosch was taken hostage and the kidnapper wants 1467 Jewels..."
"Hold on... I do know what this is,"
"You do?!"
"...It's Frosch's messy handwriting..."
"..."
"It says, 'Fro went to her favorite frog pond with all her friends to make more friends'," Levy translated. "'The pond's address 1467',"
"Eh? What type of pond has an address? I have to teach Frosch to write neater next time. Thanks again, for your help. I must get going,"
Rogue arrived at Frosch's usual frog pond. "Found you, Frosch!"
"Rogue!" Frosch waved one of her paws. "Fro made more frog friends!"
"Yes, I know, I got your note,"
"Fro named them too!"
"Oh dear..."
"This one is Sting!"
Rogue smirked. "Oh, I can't wait to tell Sting about this. I'm going to make fun of him about this for a while,"
"Fro thinks so too,"
Frosch's handwriting counts as a foreign language. XD
Next chapter comes out tomorrow.
