Peter and Jennifer were sparring and in gym clothes and Peter knew it was a bad idea when just before they started out that Jennifer gave him a seductive smirk. Peter allowed himself to be distracted by flirty comments which led him open to her strikes and Peter felt his own strategy of using quips to distract his opponents used against him. Jennifer got him into a head scissors move and was looking pretty confident as Peter was red in the face especially since it felt good.
"Come on Peter dear, you were impressive but a victory for me was pretty much inevitable. Just surrender now and there is no shame, I am content to just have you here and are pretty much fine with you deciding that you want to stay like this until you pass out. Just admit that your girlfriend is the big spoon in the relationship; maybe Spider-Man can be known as She-Hulk's sidekick." Jennifer taunted him and Peter decided that he didn't want to give up since Jennifer would never let him forget it if he lost. Thinking back to their night together he remembered something and put his hand spot near her thighs which were ticklish and caught her by surprise with his merciless ticklish.
Peter managed to get out and Jennifer was now on the ground saying that she is giving up in between her laughs. Peter was satisfied and let her go but was now faced with Jennifer getting up and glaring at him while towering over him. "Sorry Jennifer about that... Would it help if I said your thighs were amazing... Would it help if I offered to take you out to dinner and pay the bill?" Peter asked and Jennifer's face softened into a smile as Peter allowed himself to be dragged to the changing room.
"I know the best place to go to, please try and be ready in ten minutes." Jennifer told him kissing him on the cheek as she entered her own changing room and Peter was shaking his head as he went through the door of his own.
"I just got my first paycheck from Stark and it will be going to keeping my girlfriend from pummelling me... I thought that being an Avenger was supposed to improve my luck... Still being on a dinner date with most of the most perfect women I could ever imagine will be worth being broke for a little while longer..." Peter thought in his head as he went to get changed.
Ryker's Island, the East River of New York; a state prison where many of New York's criminals were being held. In his cell was a muscular blonde haired man glaring at the walls; Eddie Brock a former reporter who got disgraced after he began making reports and interviews of a source of him called Emil Gregg had been the serial killer known as the Sin-Eater. However on the same day that his story revealing him had broke; Spider-Man caught and defeated the real Sin-Eater police captain Stan Carter with Gregg as it turned out being a copycat and a serial confessor.
Fired and disgraced, he blamed Spider-Man for his troubles and came into contact with an alien Symbiote that amplified negative feelings and it was angry at Spider-Man for ditching the Symbiote. Together they had bonded and became the being known as Venom; determined to destroy Spider-Man with their greater strength, abilities and knowledge of his secret identity. He was defeated and separate from the Symbiote and sent to Ryker's.
A guard opened his cell and told him that he had a visitor wanting to see him as he was marched in manacles through the corridor. He was placed in a room and seated at a desk to be faced to his surprise Secretary Thaddeus Ross. "Mr Brock, I have read your report and your particular talents and I want to offer you to work off the time in your sentence and to serve your country. After you have served your debt to society, you will be issued with a full pardon." Ross told him but Brock looked disinterested.
"Why should I? My reputation and life was already in tatters before Venom thanks to Spider-Man! Even if I did serve time as your soldier or war correspondent or whatever you want me to be, what is really in it for me?" Brock asked as Ross shook his head.
"I can sympathise with your anger at the so called self-styled heroes and there is something else with you, a reunion with your old friend." Ross told him taking out a laptop and showing footage of a pod containing the Symbiote being guarded by military officials to Brock's shock. "An order from the World Security Council got custody of your friend transferred to me. We have had little luck in trying to bond it to a good soldier as it doesn't seem to like our choices. What do you say Mr Brock: you can bond with your old friend, work off your debt to society and in return Venom works for the United States government." Ross told him offering a hand to shake and grinned when Brock took it.
"Excellent, now let me talk to you about the Thunderbolts Initiative..."
Peter was out walking the streets in his casual clothes arm in arm with a smiling Jennifer in her purple shirt and blue booty shorts feeling nervous with the attention of awe towards Jennifer and the jealous stares he was getting from men and women. There were people coming over towards Jennifer for an autograph as well as wanting a selfie.
They came into the restaurant which looked quite fancy and sat down with them ordering their foods, Peter got his wallet out but Jennifer laughed telling him to put it back. "I was just joking around Peter, you don't have to pay for anything. I was never upset for what you pulled but I was quite impressed with what you pulled. Should make our private time together more fun..." Jennifer told him and Peter shook his head.
"So you think this will last between us or am I just your latest boy toy?" Peter asked and suddenly Jennifer looked upset at him making him gulp.
"Never suggest you are just a boy toy to me at all Peter. You're smart, you're cute and your sweet and that was enough even before discovering you are the one persevering looking out for the citizens of New York despite all the criticisms you get for your joking nature or your vigilantism. You're honestly one of the best guys I have ever been with. Especially compared to my first date and Stark..." Jennifer said seriously and Peter was looking at her in surprise. "You are what I pictured my first date this guy George from High School back when I was still shy loser Jennifer Walters... He turned out to be an entitled jerk who hated being a loser and anyone who he thought looked down on him. He was pretty much what is now considered a 'nice guy' but you are the perfect cute nerd and the fact that your quite built underneath that clothes with your powers is just a bonus." Jennifer told him and Peter gave a big smile to her.
They leaned in to kiss after finishing their meal but then there was a news alert on Peter's phone and he saw that a book store in Manhattan was being attacked by armed people in bulletproof vests and rabid dog masks; they were identified as being members of the conservative extremist terrorist group the Watchdogs who targeted people and businesses that they deemed sinful such as abortion clinics and adult entertainment studios. Seems that they were doing this in response to the books being sold there by LGBT authors. Peter and Jennifer sighed as Jennifer paid the bill and Jennifer went to the area while Peter went to find somewhere to change.
On top of a car was a woman acting as leader of this Group of Watchdogs while the others held hostages by gunpoint while putting books from the store out in a pile. "It's bad enough that we had to endure decades of Evolution being taught at our schools but now we have to deal with agendas promoting sinful and unholy lifestyles. The Watchdogs will fight for decent and traditional American values!" She shouted only for Sam as the Falcon and Tony in full Iron Man armor came in to start picking up hostages and taking them to saftey.
Peter came in as Spider-Man and fought off some armed Watchdogs while picking up the bookstore owner taking her to saftey. He then pointed to the right of them where the chaos at the store was still happening and told her "don't worry, I will take care of these Watchdogs who you can see are on the far right..." The woman looked at Peter incredulously and he sighed saying "I know, even by my already low standards that was terrible..."
Jennifer came in and started smashing up Watchdogs and threw a broken car right at the one where the Watchdogs leader was and she had to dodge to not be hit by it. "The green skinned hussy who sleeps around and parades around in that little clothing, you have no decency and neither do you Superhuman freaks that encourages violence and are seducing the innocent with your ways..."
Peter came in to start taking out Watchdogs saying "are you really not seeing the irony as your complain to us about us encouraging violence while you take hostages while setting up a domestic terrorist attack at a bookstore?"
Steve was there helping take down the remaining Watchdogs as Peter caught the leader in a web as she tried to escape, "You should be helping us as you are supposed to be Captain America, we represent the traditional American values of your time!" The woman ranted as Steve glared at her.
"So you represent segregation and woman being expected to be staying in the kitchen? A time where after the war people turned on eachother accusing them of being Communist sympathisers?" Steve asked with a strong glare at her while shaking his head. "I represent what this country should be and not your idea of traditional American values. Just to let you know... I am proud to say that one of my best friends is an openly gay man, I own copies of some of the books that you were trying to burn and I engaged in pre marital before I was frozen." Steve told her and she looked furious as she was being unmasked and arrested.
"I am off to have pre marital myself with my Black Jewish boyfriend who works in an abortion clinic and... I can't remember the rest of the line as it has been a while since I have seen the Kingsman movie but still..." Peter said out loud as the other Avengers laughed but Tony shook his head.
Peter and Jennifer were in Jennifer's room back at the Facility seeing the news reports of the attack and how it was foiled by the Avengers. The leader of the attack was identified as Karen Wertham whose ex-husband had a restraining order preventing her from being near him or her kids, has supported a rally to try and set up conversion camps and has already quite a police record of assault charges against her.
"Well she will be demanding to see the manager from her cell I bet..." Peter joked as he looked at how big and enforced Jennifer's bed is.
"You want to try it out tonight? We can take this as slow as you want but I am open to just letting this be our bed in the Facility. It won't break like the one from your old apartment." Jennifer told him lying down on the bed as Peter nervously lied down next to her and letting her take him in her embrace. "I am going to find his own ticklish spot and I won't let him get me off guard again." Jennifer thought in her head.
This chapter was just an excuse for me to indulge in some fun with Peter and Jennifer 's relationship while making fun of extremist conservatives and parental watchdog groups. The leader of the Watchdogs group here I named Karen, why did I do that? Her surname came from Fredric Wertham the author of Seduction of the Innocent.
Eddie Brock as Venom did work for the US Government for a time in exchange for being out of prison and I am not joking but the miniseries that started it was called... Venom: License to Kill.
