Alabasta-Yuba

In the wake of leaving the Strawhat pirates, Portgas D. Ace ventured to the massive desert known as Alabasta. It must have been two days now since he destroyed the billions and went on his own way.

Ace finds himself just south of the main headquarters of the warlord, though his intended goal was to go back out to the sea in order to hunt Whitebeard. Seems like he really needed to invest in a compass rather than his own guts. Regardless, he was now in a city called Yuba.

Though rather than finding a peaceful place to rest, he instead found himself surrounded by six fairly strong looking individuals wearing some sort of royal guard attire.

"What do we have here? A rogue rebel?" A young, slender woman with curly dark blue haired stood above the remains of a building. Beside her, a tall long man with a shaved head had his arms crossed, letting the girl do the talking.

"This man...this is one of those pirates that killed Mr. 5!" A familiar blonde haired girl had pointed at him with trembling fingers. Ace recognized her from Whiskey Peaks, she was the woman he punched once into unconsciousness, she was Miss Valentine. Yet he was still confused at what was going on.

"I'm tired after beating all those rebels." A tall man with a green shirt covering his body up until his ankle, complained loudly, only for a much shorter, gopher looking lady to slap him on the back of the head.

"Mr. 4, this is an order from Mr. 0, stop complaining!"

"Look, if you guys are looking for a fight, come at me all at once." Ace prepared his fist, ready to strike anyone who tries to get near. But the first to move was the bald man, immediately going for a cutting attack straight through his abdomen. He would have attempted a block if it wasn't for a baseball flying straight to his face, courtesy of Mr 4.

Though the slash from Mr. 1 simply went through his abdomen, for Ace was made of fire.

"Mr. 0 said something like this might happen to certain ability users." From handling a two front attack, Ace had managed to forget about the little mole face lady, she had cuffed Ace's forearm with some strange handcuffs. Ace suddenly felt heavy, he no longer had the ability to manifest his flames. This could only mean one thing…

Ace had enough power to kick Miss Merry Christmas with his right foot, sending her tumbling backwards, but he didn't have enough to anticipate the cut from Mr. 1. A gash opened on his side from the bladed man, and Mr. 4 added two baseballs straight to the face of Ace.

Miss Doublefinger then became a rolling spike, with Mr. 4 striking her with his metal baseball bat, launching her straight to Ace. He was impaled in multiple places, but the spiked lady was not done there, enlarging her spikes as to open the wound of Ace further.

"I refuse to participate in such uneven circumstances." Mr. 2 remained in his spot, deciding to opt out of the beat down they were handing Ace. He also did not participate in destroying the rebels as he felt that people had the power of choice, luckily, Mr. 2 was not discovered by the other agents for pulling his punches.

"Suit yourself Mr.2" Miss Merry Christmas then took her revenge at Ace, kicking him square on the jaw while he was down.

'What the fuck are wrong with these ass hole...' Ace had to spit a large amount of blood that had filled his mouth. He tried to get up once more but Mr. 1 stepped on his back, impaling him with his bladed foot.

Not a single member of the group sustained any burn injuries from the man known as firefist. The Baroque works agents stood over the body of one, Portgas D Ace.

Mr. 1 then began to drag the ragged body of Ace along the course sand. In the aftermath of the Baroque works agent, bodies of the rebels laid all over the former oasis known as Yuba, the supposed safe haven for merchants and travelers.

Alabasta- Nanohana

In the port city of Nanohana, the strawhat pirates have finally arrived in the Kingdom known as Alabasta. At the figure head, the captain resided once more, taking a quick nap prior to landing in the land of one of the Warlords of the sea.

To their surprise, a group of about twenty hooded people had been patiently waiting for them. In the front of the group was none other than Nefetari Vivi, the Princess of Alabasta.

The group on the shore patiently waited for the Straw hats to dock, though not a single member of the normal population was terrified at the arrival of pirates, in fact they seemed to welcome it. Merchants began to try and sell things to the crew as they went through the port, but nobody gave them the time of the day. The merchants then moved on to a different place where more people began to arrive leaving Luffy and his crew to confront the Princess of Alabasta.

"What do we owe this pleasure Princess?" Luffy stopped before Vivi, to which her party of twenty Nefetari loyalists got on their knees, bowing to the straw hat captain.

"Please Luffy, you are my only hope." Vivi then got on her knees, putting both hands together. A position that a Princess should ever be on, Vivi was begging Luffy for his help. "Please free my country from Crocodile."

Though Yamato, somewhat of a Princess herself, felt that Vivi needed to look strong for her people to follow her lead. So before Luffy could answer, she assisted Vivi on her feet. Vivi had a look of confusion going from Yamato then to Luffy who had a smirk across his face.

"Don't worry about a thing Princess, one way or the other, I'm here to destroy Crocodile." Vivi then looked around to the Straw hat crew, finding all of them smiling as well. There was hope after all. "Just tell us where he is and we'll do the rest." Vivi then gave a brief instruction on how to get to the headquarters of the false hero of Alabasta.

"But wait! Mister Mugiwara, I understand that you are fairly powerful, but you must need some men to storm Rainbase! I have about one hundred of the royal guards ready to assist you in the name of Alabasta." Igaram brought up a good point, but for the Straw hats, it wasn't a problem.

Luffy looked at Igaram, smiled and headed to the direction where Rainbase was located.

Luffy led the way, followed closely by Katakuri, Yamato, Reiju, and Gem. Igaram was going to protest once more but Vivi held out her hands to stop him.

"We have to worry about the people, they will be able to defeat Crocodile, I trust that they will be okay."

Rainbase

"Something is different about my nation." Sir Crocodile, the man behind the entire Baroque Works organization stood on the top of a wide staircase. On the very bottom of the steps, the six agents that apprehended Fire Fist, along with the man himself, bloodied from being beaten up by the organization.

"Maybe its your stupid face Croco." Despite being weakened by the bloody beatdown he received, Ace remained witty. Due to his sharp tongue, he received a kick directly in his abdomen, his forearms digging deep into the seastone cuffs in frustration.

"Mind your manners Fire Fist, you are in the presence of Sir Crocodile, one of the seven warlords of the sea." Miss Doublefinger grabbed Ace by the face and slightly impaled him with her sharp fingernails.

"In my dessert, there are intruders, swiftly making their way here at Rainbase. Kill them." The members of the Baroque works took a knee, showing fealty to their boss.

"What about this garbage?" Mr.1 pulled Ace by his hair and raised him to face Crocodile.

"Bring him to his people, they will appreciate how we treated their friend." With the final orders presented to the Baroque works agents, they all made their way outside of the headquarters, to meet the intruders.

Crocodile had a pensive look about him, deep thoughts filled his mind. Just one more week and he will be able to obtain the kingdom of Alabasta for his own. The rebels would think they were attacked by the royal guards when it was actually his agents, and once they recover, the rebels will try to avenge their comrades. A civil war will ensue and who will come to the rescue? Sir Crocodile of course.

Outside of Rainbase

The six agents of Baroque works stood atop a large flight of stairs, one that separated Rainbase from the harsh desert that was beyond its walls. Below them, the five members of the Strawhat Pirates, all of which had eyes on one person, Ace.

He was indeed bloodied and beaten from receiving a beatdown from the Baroque Works agent.

Luffy, the captain of the crew, could care less. But Yamato was seething, her anger causing her to tremble in anticipation. She was waiting for the Captain's orders before moving.

"Where is Crocodile?" Luffy screamed, ensuring that the agents would be able to hear him.

"Mr.5 you traitorous rat. We will deal with you soon." Miss Merry Christmas was the first to speak from the agent, acknowledging Gem but not the Captain. Luffy smirked, and in a blink of an eye, he was already through the barricade that the agents formed atop the stairs.

"How the…." Mr. 1 who had been holding Ace found that their prisoner was gone, now in the hands of Yamato.

The agents tried to pursue Luffy, but Katakuri was there as well, now acting as a one man barrier as he pointed his trident to anyone who dared follow his captain.

Luffy casually continued on walking, headed towards the tall building in the heart of Rainbase.

Mr. 1 had never been scared in his entire existence, but this Katakuri figure made his legs tremble.

Reiju wasn't one to ask questions, jumping into the fight by sending a flying dropkick straight to the face of the bat wielding oaft of a man. Gem followed after, attacking Miss Merry Christmas, the annoying loud mouth goffer lady.

"How pitiful, Fire Fist becoming such a useless thing." Miss Doublefinger swayed wildly while she was walking towards Yamato, who held the limp body of Ace. But Yamato paid no attention to the spiked woman, instead caressing the face of her man. The agent did not take kindly to such disrespect, making her feet into spikes and preparing to stomp on the couple.

Although Yamato looked up, her eyes were fierce from her anger. Just by a look, Miss Doublefinger second guessed herself, stumbling slightly backwards. Yamato's aura was menacing, as if a massive tiger was going for a strike.

Baroque Works Agent Miss Double Finger v Straw Hat Pirate 'Demon Heir' Yamato

"Listen Ace, if I were to set you free, you have to join the Straw hats permanently okay?" Yamato awaited for Ace's answer, though all he could muster was a nod. Who can say no to a beautiful face like that? Yamato gently placed Ace on the sandy ground slowly getting up and facing her opponent. Miss Doublefinger immediately regretted her action, quick fishing through her pockets to reveal the keys to the hand cuffs.

"I yield, I yield, here are the keys..." She cowered before the might of the demon heir, tossing the keys towards her. But Yamato was way past forgiveness, picking up the keys while maintaining her slow pace towards Miss Doublefinger. "No, please..." She tried to cover her entire body in spikes, although that was nothing for Yamato, grabbing the spikes with her bare hands and pulling them back as to remove them from her body. Miss Doublefinger screamed in pain as her spikes were slowly being removed by Yamato, not a single thing she could do to counter the powerful enemy. Just as Yamato was about to completely remove the left arm from the shoulder, someone had whispered gently in her ear. Stop.

Yamato was quick to turn around, finding Ace on his feet. "You are not your father." Ace said weakly.

"You're right." And Yamato let Miss Doublefinger go, leaving her to suffer the injuries she sustained. "Here." Yamato removed the seastone cuffs from Ace, causing him to emit a pillar of fire, elated at being set free. It wasn't much of a fight, but the victory goes to Yamato.

"Thanks babe." Without really putting much thought into it, Ace planted a deep kiss into the lips of Yamato, as his happiness seeped through his action. As they separated, Yamato had a deep blush, though someone was there to break their little moment. It was Mr. 2, who remained inactive in the battle of the Baroque Works vs The Strawhats.

Baroque Works Agent Mr. 2 v Straw Hat Pirate 'Fire Fist' Portgas D. Ace

"You there, thanks for not joining your friends in beating me up." Ace was talking to Mr. 2, as Yamato remained close to his side.

"It doesn't seem like you are bound any longer then Fire fist?" Mr. 2 got into his stance, the swan like form was new to Ace, but he wasn't about to back down from a fight, especially after getting humiliated in such a manner.

"Remember your promise Ace." Yamato whispered, letting him fight his own fight.

"Yes, I will join the Straw hats permanently, no more leaving." This caused the smile to widen for Yamato, and so this left Ace and Mr. 2 for their battle.

Mr. 2 wasn't like the other members of the Baroque works, his attacks were precise, coordinated, and fluid. He was able to close the gap between them in an instant, striking at Ace with a powerful flurry of strikes.

Ace had to regain his form, as getting the shit beat out of you non stop could cause some unwanted after effects. Regardless, he had been bound for too long, and Ace regained his resolve. He unleashed another pillar of fire, sending Mr. 2 back. Then in the center of the fire, Ace jumped up, bringing the pillar with his every movement.

Mr. 2 did not falter, for he was a fighter. He did his best and even that was not enough. He took on the powerful flame attack from Ace, and fell against such a strong force.

Ace finished his attack by standing over the fallen Mr. 2, his hands in the air to celebrate his victory. And yet he remained tired, that can't be helped. So Ace fell forward, flat on his face, sleeping on the ground from exhaustion. Yamato immediately ran to his side, only to find him peacefully asleep. She laughed at his attics. "You idiot."

Baroque Works Agent Mr. 4 and Miss Valentine v Strawhat Pirate Reiju

The woman wearing a pink tight suit made quick work of the man known as Mr. 4. Her poisonous abilities would eat at the metallic bat of the man and eventually he would succumb to a pool of poison. Mr. 4 could not move, as despite being a low grade of poison, Reiju was able to subdue him easily.

The real fight came against a more direct fighter, for the former partner of Gem, Miss Valentine had come directly from the sky, crashing towards Reiju with such velocity, that she left a crater on the ground.

"I'm going to return the favor from Whiskey Peak!" Miss Valentine then swung her umbrella, imbuing a heaven force behind her strike to strike Reiju. Though the woman in pink was limber, jumping slightly and landing on top of the swinging umbrella. Miss Valentine looked up, trying to make another move and yet she found herself with her eyes behind the back of her head. For Reiju had stuck her under her chin, causing her to past out indefinitely.

Across the way, Gem had been struggling against Miss Merry Christmas as he had yet had enough training to be worthy of the crew he was with. Just as the mole lady was going for his heart, it was Yamato who would interfere, clocking the face of the mole lady with her kanabo.

Miss Merry Christmas fell on the floor unmoving, out for the count. Gem struggled to get up, bloodied and bruised from his battle with a superior officer.

"You're gonna need some work, rookie." Said Yamato, Ace was a bit confused as to why the exploding booger guy had joined, a story for later. Reiju joined them as well, all of which were just waiting for Katakuri to finish with his matchup. Though as it turns out, he had been done even before he started his own fight.

Katakuri sat along a chair, leaning back slightly as he awaited the crew to finish up. Above him was a bloodied Mr. 1, spread out across the wall of a sand building with all of his limbs stretched out, his face destroyed from the quick beatdown from Katakuri.

"Now we wait for Captain." Katakuri said, closing his eyes for a quick nap.

In a matter of an instant, the Straw hat pirates were able to demolish an organization that has flourished for many years. If it had been a week later, the state of Alabasta would be far different than what it is currently.

Crocodile will be at the helm of an Army, thousands of people at his command. The lives of the population would be under his control and Luffy would be in a bind. Yet lucky enough, the Straw Hats arrived before Crocodile could execute his coupe.

With the crew of the Straw hat Captain relaxing in the lower level of the Rain base, Luffy himself was making his slow stride up the stairs of the massive pyramid structure.

Rainbase, the center of greed, the land of selfishness, and it was where Crocodile resided.

Luffy curled up his fist, anticipation for a battle seeped through his skin. The battle against Crocodile was going to be an indicator of where he was in terms of the Grand Line. A Warlord vs Pirate. Will he come out on top? Who knows, at least he will die trying.

East Blue

"Goodbye Nojiko! Take care of Belmere's plants!" Before the break of Dawn, Nami had made up her mind. She had left all 100 million beri to her sister and pursued her dream of becoming a Marine.

Though Nojiko was still half asleep when chasing after her sister. She had forgotten to put on some clothes as she went outside her house. "You idiot! Stay safe!" She yelled at the top of her lungs, garnering attention from her neighbors. Most of which were able to obtain a grand show from the blue haired woman.

Nojiko couldn't comprehend why they were staring at her, until she looked down to see that she was only wearing her underwear along with a see through t-shirt. She immediately ran back inside, turning beet red from embarrassment.

Nami flew through her town, people barely waking up for another day in their daily lives. Not Nami, she was going to fulfill her dream and change the marines for the better. Being free from Arlong's terror has finally opened her eyes to all the possibilities. No longer did she have to be a thief to save her town, she can become something more.

16th Branch, Marine Base, East Blue.

Nami looked at the sign in front of a massive building, this was it, her chance to enlist. She took a deep breath before finally grasping at the door of the marine base.

Though inside the base, a loud rumbling began. Nami had to step to the side as she felt the door being violently forced open.

Out came the captain of the marine base, a weasley little man who was scared for his own safety.

"You took bribes from fucken pirates you little shit?! I oughta kill you myself." Once the dust cleared, Nami was able to spot a large old man, his muscles were bulging from his uniform. Nami was frantically confused at what was happening, regardless, she let her nature show, getting in between the massive marine person and the beaten up marine captain on the ground.

"What are you doing to this man?!" Nami exclaimed, defending the stranger without knowing the full story.

"Don't you have some tea parties to attend to, child?" The massive old man exclaimed, he could've easily cracked her in half if he wanted to, and yet he didn't have to as Nami found herself in a rear chokehold by who she thought she was defending.

"Fuck you Garp! You're gonna let me go or I will kill this stupid girl!" Captain Nezumi had a pistol over the head of Nami, holding her hostage as he did not want to spend his life in prison. Nezumi thought that he was home free, but Nami had other plans for she was not going to be a prisoner of any person any longer. She kicked back with her right leg, clocking Nezumi right in the testacle. The Marine Captain doubled over in pain but Nami did not let him recover as she grabbed his right arm and flung him over head, slamming him to the ground.

The marines in base had their mouths hang wide open, meanwhile the elderly marine laughed at the happenings.

Nami thought that was it, her chances at getting recruited for the marines was as good as gone. She had attacked a Marine Captain in uniform, but it was out of self defense. She knew how politics work and she knew she was done for.

"You girl, what are you here for?" The old man asked as he stopped chuckling, he then approached her, closer than before, and boy was he a huge old man.

"I came to join the marines..." She said though doubt filled her mind, seeing as she assaulted an officer. He must have seen something in her potential from the way she handled herself, because the next thing the old man said was shocking.

"You're in the wrong place kid, come with me." The old man picked up his discarded jacket, placing it on. Nami then became wide eyed, looking directly at the name on the coat of the old marine person. Two marine officers handcuffed Nezumi and carried him for Vice Admiral Garp.

"Vice Admiral Garp." Nami looked up trembling slightly at the sight of a high ranking officer in these parts of the sea. The highest rank Nami ever found was a Captain, and that was the passed out former captain on the ground. Nami instinctively followed the powerful aura of such a strong personality. "Where are we going sir?"

"If you are going to be a marine, you're not going to waste your potential in such a crapshoot place. I'm taking you under my wing."

Nami was beyond shocked, faith allowing her to fall into the guidances of a Vice Admiral of the marines. Nami dutifully followed Garp, ensuring that she kept pace and held onto her own items. Once they got into the port, the massive ship of the Vice Admiral was a true indicator of his rank.

The flight of steps onto the ship was exhausting, meaning Nami needed to work on her stamina. Once they got onto the deck, multiple crew members were working vigorously at the sight of the captain.

"Alright kid, get to work." Garp retrieved a mop and a bucket, causing Nami to drop her stuff. "These are Helmeppo and Koby, they will help you get acclimated." Garp then left Nami to the hands of a pink hair kid and another jellybean faced kid with a blonde mop hairstyle.

"I came to the marines to catch the bad guys! Not stinkin mop!" Nami tossed the mop on the ground in protest, causing a group of the marines to stare at her in disbelief.

"Welcome to Vice Admiral Garp's ship!" Koby picked up her mop and gave it right back to her. "If we work hard, we will rise from this post to eventually catch the bad guys." Koby then helped her get situated by picking up her stuff and leading her to the female side of the barracks. He was very motivated and eager to succeed, just like herself. This resonated well with her, so in turn, it looks like the start of a really good friendship.

With Garp…

Vice Admiral Garp had a very guess waiting for him in his office. This man had some information for him that he's been searching for.

Garp entered through his office, finding two men waiting for him. On his way to his desk, he found a fairly strong looking swordsman leaning against the wall. He was sleeping yet he was alert of his surroundings. The other person was sitting in front of his desk, his white smoke encircling him.

Garp finally settled on his desk, looking at the person in front of him.

"Pirate Hunter." Garp acknowledged the swordsman known as Zoro, who simply nodded his head slightly, while having his eyes close. "So White Hunter, what do you know about my Grandson?"

Somewhere in the New World

He gasped heavily as he was doubled over on the ground. Across from him, a bloodied comrade who was more than ready to die alongside him in battle.

"Gin..." He could barely stand on his own two feet. Looks like he bit more than he could chew at this time.

"Enough is enough Sanji, you will not reach Captain no matter how hard you try." The mocking came from a well dressed chef, with a light brown pompadour hairstyle. He rolled down his sleeve as he single handedly defeated Gin and Sanji without breaking a sweat.

"I will not serve under anyone..." Sanji said weakly, falling once more despite attempting to get up. Then Sanji felt heavier, as if the air had been sucked out of the air. A massive man with a white crescent shape mustache stood over him.

"Captain?" Thatch looked up at the emperor himself.

"You will not 'serve' me my boy. How about becoming part of my family?"

Family, such a funny term. The only family Sanji ever had was Zeff and the cooks at Baratie. Then he set sail to find All blue and found comfort in the company of Gin, who he considers to be his brother. But running into an emperor of the sea has shown him that he was not strong enough in the New World. He needed to get stronger. He was going to keep his guard up but he wasn't going to refuse the assistance of an emperor. Sanji looked over towards Gin who gave him a thumbs up as he knew he was waiting for his decision. Not a subordinate, but a son to an emperor.

"Fine." It wasn't so bad.

Just as he accepted the offer, Whitebeard swooped down and gave him a massive bear hug.

"Welcome to my family, my boy!"

And with the proclamation of the emperor, the entire Whitebeard pirates cheered along with Thatch. Gin sat up from getting beaten up pretty good and was immediately aided by a blonde haired man with pineapple hairstyle.

"You're part of the crew now, I'm Marco and I'll be your doctor." Marco then proceeded to tend to Gin's injury, a warm feeling coursed through him as blue flames emitted from Marco's hand. And just like that, Gin was healed.

A stocky individual pulled Sanji to his feet, he then patted him on the back. "Ain't no better crew than pop's crew!"

"Oh shut it Teach!" Exclaimed Thatch laughing along the rest of the crew. A party was thrown in the addition of the new crew members.

Sanji and Gin have joined the Whitebeard Pirates.

Drum Island

"You stupid old fool." An elderly lady (though she will cauterize you for calling her that) stood in front of a gravestone with the name Dr. Hirulek. "Your boy has been gone for many years now. If only you would have shared your feelings."

Dr. Kureha reminisces about the time with Dr Hirulek and a young little reindeer that had a blank view of the world.

Dr Hirulek elected to save the corrupt king of drum island rather than save himself, and the little innocent reindeer witnessed the entire event.

It was the day his life changed as he saw the true evil of the world. The King of Drum island found himself crushed by the hands of a monster, one that rampaged through the entire castle, destroying everything in his wake. None of 20 elite doctors survived, none of Wapol and his crew survived. All that remained was a monster who continued to destroy the castle until it was unrecognizable.

Eventually the monster reverted back to the small little reindeer, remaining angry despite killing so many before him.

"There is no hope for humanity." With that, the innocent little reindeer was no more, and he left drum island forever.

It was many years later that Kureha caught wind of an interesting reindeer that has somehow found his way under the umbrella of an emperor of the sea. How she learned of the former innocent reindeer was through the underground network of black market dealers. His moniker remained by his true name, Chopper, and his specialty was selling doping drugs that enhanced the fighter without any consequences to the consumer of the drugs.

She had to admit the drugs made by the former innocent little reindeer was great. She felt amazing for 4 hours, and when the effects wore off, she felt perfectly normal.

"Sorry Hirulek, I couldn't look after your boy."
