Part 4
Earth 1858
Location:Retro City
"Help! A young man shouts as a parademon grabs him by the shirt flying him to the sky, the boy screamed in terror as he gets higher and higher from the ground.
Then out of nowhere, An X shaped throwing star strikes the parademon in the head causing it to drop the young man who screams as he falls until he stops, the young man looks up to see.
"Red X!" The man screams in joy as Red X brings him back to the ground. "Thank you so much for saving me, I can't believe you're her-"
The man's eyes widen as Red X's gloved hands cover his mouth. "Can you please get out of here." Red X grunts. "There's a fight going on, and you're going get in the way if you don't. The man nods quickly running away.
Red X quickly looks around making sure no one is around before taking off his mask revealing Thomas Wayne Jr. famously known as the second son of Gotham who is currently taking a deep breath trying to bring back air into his lungs.
"It's hard to breathe wearing a full face mask, maybe Bruce was right, and I should have a cowl or something." Thomas says breathlessly as he regains his breath.
Today is a horrible day for Earth, The Justice League has left the planet to stop Darkseid from invading the planet or as Superman put it "Bringing the fight to him." Leaving the world to the new heroes known as The Relatives, and he knows that it's a bad name but it basically what they are.
There was him as the Batman of the group.
His best friend Kane Kent who also known as Nuclear Man who was apparently made by a nuclear missile with Supes DNA sent by Lex Luthor into the sun, he's kind of an idiot, but it's not his fault since he was born as an adult in a matter of seconds.
Then there's Leonadis and Anitope also known as Thunderman and Wondergirl the children of Wonder Woman.
Martin Jones also known the Blue Lantern he's Martian Manhunter's human adopted son who takes the whole "Hope" thing a little too much for Thomas's taste.
And last but not the least Aquaman's cousin Arya also known as Aquagirl, who is way too serious about things.
Thomas shakes his head focusing back on the problem, while The League went away to Darkseid, an old enemy of earth came back, Steppenwolf who somehow got the green light to destroy the earth in the name of Darksied which is a problem Thomas can't have right now.
Thomas put his mask back on using his grappling hook launching him to the sky. "I just hope I'm not too late."
Thomas press his comm wanting to know how his team was doing. "Arya, how are you guys doing with Steppenwolf?"
Thomas stops on top of a roof as he gets nothing but static. "What's going on?." Thomas asked on loud.
"Blue Lantern report!."
Thunderman, Wondergirl! Do you hear me?!"
"Kane! Come on man answer me!!!." Thomas shouts not noticing the sky turning red and the wave coming towards him. "Someone says something please!"
Thomas falls to his knees as he realizes his friends were most likely gone, there is no way they would lose their comms, not in a fight like this.
Thomas looks to see the red wave coming towards him. "Bruce is going to kill me for this."
