NINJAGO HIGHSCHOOL: CHAPTER FIVE: THE CLUB

Author's note: I'm so sorry for the hiatus, I just haven't felt like writing is all. Thank you for your patience, and again, I am very sorry. I also have noticed some spelling and writing issues in past chapters, and may fix those in the near future.

Lloyd felt a blast of noise right away. The door and walls must of been sound proof, since he didn't hear anything prior to opening it. He quickly walked in and closed the door before the ruckus could spread, and looked around. Some punk looking kids playing on Xboxes, playing Overwatch, Fortnite, whatever games were cool nowadays. "Well well well if it isn't the Lloydster." Ultra-violet said, leaning on a wall. The room went quiet, and everyone looked over at him. "Excuse me?" Lloyd asked, a bit uncomfortable right now with all the stares. Ultra-violet ignored what he said. "So, you want to join the gamer club huh?" She got off the wall and crossed her arms. "Not just anyone can join the gamer club bud. You need SKILL and STYLE." Lloyd looked at his clothes. "What does style have to do with gaming?" UV scoffed, some of the punks in the background chuckled. "Lloydster, wearing a SWEATER to a GAMING club? That's cringe pal." "Says the woman wearing face paint outside of a circus." Some of the crowd went "oooh". UV got a little pissy and walked away. "WELL, as far as I care, you're not allowed in the gamer club!" "Fine, I don't care." Lloyd turned around, but a voice stopped him.

"Wait Lloyd." Harumi took her headset off and quickly walked over. She was too busy beating a guy in Mortal Kombat 11 to notice the situation. She got between Lloyd and UV. "Ultra-violet, take my place in MK, ok? I'll deal with this." UV groaned and walked over to the TV. The crowd stopped watching, and went back to their duties. "I'm sorry Lloyd, she's...eccentric. I hope I can change your mind about the club." Lloyd looked back to UV, who was hooping and hollering obscenities at the tv while beating a club member in the game. "I...guess I can give it another shot." Lloyd relaxed a little. "Okay great, let's show you around. Lloyd was shown around the room, which had quite a few monitors and TVs. "Where did you get all of this...and where do you put this stuff when you're not clubbing?" Harumi stopped and looked at a monitor. "Oh, my family is rich, plus some of the club members lent them over for roles." Lloyd looked confused. "Roles?" Harumi chuckled. "Yep, Killow and UV lent an Xbox each, so I granted them leader roles." Lloyd nodded. "Okayyy...so where do you put all this when you're done?" "Storage closet over there. It's big, and this classroom hasn't been used a lot. That's how we got to use it as a club room." Lloyd thought a bit and realized something. "WAIT, clubs need a teacher to watch them. Where's YOUR teacher?" Harumi smiled. "Oh we had that one planned out real well. We managed to get Mr. KRUX. He HATES technology, so he just so happens to leave for coffee until our club is done for the door." Harumi shrugged her shoulders, smirking. "Makes the club...free to do what they want." On cue, UV said "GET FUCKED" to the guy she beat in Mortal Kombat, pretty loudly. "I can see that." Lloyd said.

"Honestly, I don't know if I can join, seems super loud...and I don't have a lot of gaming experience." Killow overheard this and walked over, almost making the floor shatter with his weight. "Why are you trying to join us then if you have no experience? You're not even a gamer!" Before Lloyd could respond, Harumi stopped him. "Now now Killow, remember, we can't just reject people like that, it'd be rude. MAYBE he's a master of CoD, and he just never had a way to show it." Lloyd had no idea what CoD meant. "We'll talk about it later." Killow grunted and walked away. "Seems I'm not wanted here." Lloyd said, a little dejected. "No no, it's just that these guys are big gamers, and are bad at accepting new members." Harumi sighed. "You think?" Lloyd murmured. "Look" Harumi said. "Lemme give you a permission slip to join the gamer club. If your dad can sign it, you can join us. I'll talk to the other heads of the club about letting you in too. Mr. E!" Harumi beckoned to Mr E, who was sitting in a corner, with a tablet. He looked up and went to Harumi. "I need a slip." Mr. E got a huge sheet of paper from his bag, tore one of them off, and handed it to Lloyd. "Thank you." He said to Mr. E. Mr. E didn't say anything, and walked back to his corner. "He's quiet." Harumi said. She patted Lloyd's shoulder. "Well, I'll see you around?" "Hm, sure. I'll see what my mom or dad can do." Lloyd went to the door while Harumi waved goodbye.

To Lloyd's surprise, he saw Kai outside. "Kai?" He said confused. "Oh hey Lloyd, how'd the club thing go?" Kai asked. "Uh, okay, but what are you doing here? I thought you'd be on the bus and home by now." Kai shrugged. "Oh I couldn't let you walk home by yourself man. I don't want some dickhead to harass you because Mr. Garmadon gave him a suspension." Lloyd laughed a little. He's only been bothered a little for his status, but Kai had some good reasoning with him. "I appreciate it man. I guess I can go into the club details while we walk." Lloyd walked quickly to Kai's side. "Sounds good." Kai adjusted his backpack and started walking. Lloyd explained what happened at the club for some of the walk. "WOW, that Ultra-violet girl sure is crazy." Kai said somewhat stunned. "I know right? Total nut-job!" Both of them laughed. "Harumi sooo likes you dude. You have no experience with gaming and she STILL wants you to join? She wants 'the Lloydster' " Kai teased. Lloyd punched his shoulder. "Shut uppp." He groaned. Kai didn't laugh. "Hey man, I'm serious. Maybe I'm wrong about this, but you have to take it to consideration." Lloyd thought a bit, and sighed. "Maybe you're right, sorry." "Oh don't worry about it man." Kai reassured. They arrived outside of Lloyd's house. "I'll see you at school tomorrow." "Yeup" Lloyd said, and walked over to the door. Kai nodded and walked off to his place.
