DISCLAIMER: I do not own anything from Stargate! I own Ahmes, but I do not own her as a species from the Stargate franchise…if that makes sense.
Ahmes is 12 years old, almost 13. Any grammatical errors during her speaking parts are intentional because she is still learning English and had previously had her a bit Mary Sue, perfect at everything.
Dear Guest: I am writing more for the SG1 series, but this is separate because of how long it is (movie-length episode).
Hope you enjoy~!

CHILDREN OF THE GODS
"Ra is going to kill us for this," Daniel whispered harshly to Ahmes. 'This is a very bad idea and I have no idea how you talked me into this.'
The girl rolled her eyes while zipping up her utility vest and watched as the two SG teams finished preparing. Ra had left an hour ago after a brief talk with Hammond. She and Daniel had an idea of what they spoke about but hadn't asked when Ahmes had an idea.
"He may punish many time over," she quietly replied, implying He would use sarcophagus as punishment. "And you not object before."
"Because I didn't know what your plan was until now," Daniel countered. "We'll have solders to guard us while on this planet. They won't leave us alone enough to put in the symbols."
"I make sure people distract," Ahmes revealed her plot. "They plan alliance without us." Daniel sighed, feeling the girl was being far to cavalier about the situation.
"Besides, how do I succeed if I not know of other worlds. I only see Abydos and Tau'ri." Ahmes tried to make a point.
She knew it would be many years from now when she would take the role of Supreme System Lord, however with the Stargate Ahmes felt that she was being left behind somehow.
"You don't have to learn all at once," Daniel tried to reassure the girl. The young man found out this the hard way. "And you don't need to prove anything to anyone. Trust me on that."
"Lord Father is gone. I want to help and this my only chance," Ahmes said, her voice clearly showed her desperation. "And I want to prove to myself." Daniel said nothing further.
"Are you sure about that?" Daniel asked. Ahmes' eyes snapped at him sharply. "Just curious." Ahmes rubbed her tongue along the inside of her teeth to keep her temper in check.
"That nothing to do with this," Ahmes told Daniel. "I am daughter of Ra, and that all. We go now."
Throwing on the backpack, Ahmes stormed out of the room with Daniel stumbling behind her. Now that the base was completely operational and had almost all staff present, the sight of the civilian and child had a few of the airmen raising their eyebrows. Reaching the embarkation room had no obstacles, however Ra was already waiting for the duo. Ahmes and Daniel bowed to the Supreme System Lord.
"This world you have been to before," Ra told the girl. She apparently looked confused because Ra explained. "The first world you set foot on, the Jaffa who heal you many years ago. They wait for you."
Ahmes nodded, remembering the people fondly despite being so scared after first waking that she had soiled herself. Daniel had met them once as well. They both gave their respects to the Supreme System Lord as the gate was dialled before leaving and stepping through.
'Educational my ass,' Daniel whispered to Ahmes.
She tried not to smirk as the two stepped over the event horizon with an SG team behind them. A group of Jaffa met the group on the other side with respectful introductions. Ahmes stepped forwards to speak with them, only Daniel understanding that she was asking for their help in rescuing her people from the Serpent God.
'Dan'el,' Ahmes waved over.
'Wait here a second,' Daniel instructed. The uniformed men rolled their eyes but did as he asked. Only once Daniel was beside the girl did they understand what was happening.
'Jaffa kree!' Ahmes commanded. The Jaffa aimed their weapons at the men, outnumbering them three to one.
'Sorry guys,' Daniel apologised. 'You would do the same to us.'
One of the Jaffa brought them back to the dialling device, pressing the symbols to create a wormhole to the world Ahmes had asked to be sent to.
'We can't protect you if we stay here,' one of the Tau'ri said. Ahmes thought for a moment. She asked one of the Jaffa for his weapon, receiving it gratefully.
'You need us. We not need you,' Ahmes told him, head held high. 'We are children of Gods.'
She and Daniel ran into the stargate, disappearing into the event horizon together before the wormhole destabilised.
'Who gets to tell Ra?' another Tau'ri asked. The Jaffa took several steps back.
Daniel and Ahmes took a few shaky breaths as the chill of the morning struck their bodies. They shivered but quickly took their packs off to get on with their plan. Even though it would be a while before a team was sent through from Stargate Operations the two still had to be quick getting dressed in their garments.
'It's too cold for this,' Daniel whispered with pain. He wore the traditional clothes of an ancient Egyptian royal just like Ahmes which were quite thin and breezy.
'We have no choice,' Ahmes said. 'They never find our people their way.' She handed over the Ma'Tok to Daniel. It was promptly put to the ground while Ahmes prepared their makeup they should wear.
'Ra can only see it as theft of his property,' Daniel muttered, smearing on the vibrate colours across Ahmes' face. 'Which can be a good thing, I suppose.'
'Take His things, feel the wrath,' Ahmes chuckled in agreement. She used a brush around Daniel's eyes to mark it with the dark powder.
Once Daniel made sure they were both accurate, their uniforms and utensils were quickly stuffed into the bags before being hidden behind the stargate. The imprints in the ground depicted the more commonly used areas the world's inhabitants used. The back of the stargate was void of grass but had seen no foot traffic for a very long time unlike the front of the wormhole device.
Taking up the Ma'Tak, making sure it worked properly, Daniel followed Ahmes down the well-used path, wondering, for a moment, how she managed to fit her head dress inside the bag without anyone noticing. They walked along the path with Ahmes admiring the plant life while Daniel didn't really care other than it meant they could breathe.
'What is that?' Daniel asked. Ahmes saw it too.
Through the trees was a small city with stone houses, not like Abydos or Earth but similar to them. If they focused, Daniel and Ahmes could make out the native people living there moving about in the early morning. They looked at each other and nodded, ready to put the main event of their plan into motion.
It might be worth saying that if everything goes well, the plan is credited to both of them. However, should it go wrong then Ahmes was entirely at fault. As it usually goes with some of her friends on Earth and the Abydon kids when she was growing up there.
Making it to the outskirts of the town, Daniel was ahead of Ahmes and met with what could be described as priests. The group halted in front of the two, whispering amongst themselves. Daniel spoke first before the priests said something in their native language. While he prattled on, attempting to speak to them, Ahmes' heart raced as she recognised the speech from her earliest childhood.
This was a really bad idea, she thought to herself.
'Is everything alright?' Daniel asked. He had turned to speak and saw her much too pale for his liking. The priests noticed her as well, bowing to the young heir of the Supreme System Lord.
'I know what they are saying,' Ahmes whispered. She shook as his hands gently held her arms.
'Do you want to go back?' Daniel suggested.
'It be worse if we do,' Ahmes swallowed. 'We find our people.' Daniel nodded at her, lowering his hands for the girl to step forwards.
Ahmes held her head high as she spoke to the priests. Demanding they take her and Daniel to their destination. The men obeyed quickly which was lucky for the duo as they had no idea what was happening to be attended to so efficiently.
Daniel was in awe of the temple they were brought to. It was an archaeological marvel in design that was one of the oldest on Earth. Ahmes had to pull him away from a pillar to catch up to their guides. Their hushed conversation was not missed by the Jaffa guards as they entered the chamber together. Ahmes' anxiety was overtaken by her newfound confidence which rapidly turned into strong arrogance.
Then they started to get into trouble.
Thank you so much for reading this and having patience with me over the last few years. I am continuing into the SG1 series and would love to know your thoughts on it, even suggestions on your favourite episodes for what you want to see or think should happen alongside my own plans.
This has become my CampNaNo project so hopefully there will be an update every few days unlike the last long while…
