When Clint found out about his wife's day he wasn't sure how to feel. On one hand he was absolutely pissed that something had almost happened to his family. This caused him to be thankful for the unknown, who was apparently going by the name Hollis. At the same time he felt like he should use the number to ambush her and take her in. The problem with that, however, is that Clint had figured out what organization the target was apparently involved in before he mysteriously disappeared and handing them someone clearly skilled wasn't something he wanted to do. HYDRA somehow was still going and had it's claws higher up in SHIELD which was problematic, not just for the organization, but possibly for him and his family depending on who it was.

This Hollis person had not only shown that she wasn't HYDRA, but she clearly meant his family no harm. There was always a possibility that it was a set up and she was a plant, but right now, all Clint knew was that the only people that were definitely clean were Nat, Fury and Coulson. The more allies he had, and that his family had, the better. Just as he was debating going into headquarters and speaking with Fury, the choice was taken out of his hands by his ringing phone.

"This is Barton," he said as he answered the call.

"Clint, it's Coulson. We have a large explosion of energy from close to where you spotted that unknown, and nearby the cameras we've caught her on. We need you to go in for a recon mission and see what we're dealing with."

"On it, send the coordinates and I'll be there within the next thirty minutes at the most."

"Good, see you after."

Hanging up, Clint slipped on his mission clothes and grabbed his bow and quiver. Strapping on the rest of his weapons he checked his phone for the coordinates and took off.

About five minutes later he showed up on the roof of the building across from where the energy blast originated from. According to imaging, the building had been an old rundown foreclosure for years up until a week ago when it just disappeared off of all cameras and infrared, at least until about twenty minutes ago. Looking at it now, Clint didn't think it could ever be called rundown. It was one of those fancy painted and modern townhouses, and from the little he could see into the windows, whoever owned it was doing well for themselves.

Clint staked it out for about an hour before anything happened. He hadn't seen any movement from inside but something seemed to be keeping him from entering or getting too close. Then suddenly, the house shook and a light flashed down into it. Silence rang out for a moment and then a crash was heard, followed by some strange cursing. Seeing the unknown, Hollis, walk by the window, Clint took aim with a shock arrow and let it fly.

It was unexpected, that was for sure. Had Death mentioned that she'd eventually meet Hela when she had settled in? Yes. Did Hollis expect that to mean suddenly being beamed up in the middle of doing schoolwork to Merlin knows where? No, she absolutely did not. Unfortunately for Hollis, that was exactly what happened.

Steadying herself after her sudden experience was tricky. Hollis had never been great at magical travel of any kind, and while her apparition had improved from the war, she was still lousy at things like portkeys which this strongly reminded her of. Looking around, Hollis seemed to be in an office of sorts. It was decorated in blacks and purples for the most part with hints of green and gold pieces that screamed Slytherin. Some of them were actually snakes.

The ornate door she had noticed behind her abruptly flew open and she swung around to face it just as a woman, or girl really, walked through.

"No, Raven, that's not enough. This man was responsible for hundreds of deaths and he trafficked underage children to other monsters," she paused, clearly listening to a response from the phone she was holding to her ear. Throwing a folder onto the desk she hmmed her agreement to something the person, Raven apparently, said. "Yes, yes I think that's gruesome enough. Do you think maybe fifty years set for sure before we reassess? Perfect." Looking up at Hollis, who was standing there awkwardly she said, "Great. Thank Rae, I've got to go, the Mistress is here. Yeah. Buh bye." She hung up and placed her phone onto the desk in front of her.

Clapping her hands together she walked towards Hollis with a smile. "Alright then. It's a pleasure to meet you Mistress! I'm Hela, the Chosen for this Dimension. Please excuse that phone call with my second in command, we were ironing out a punishment for a particularly nasty man. Do you mind if I call you Hollis? I'm not as old as Miriam, so calling you Mistress doesn't come as naturally to me. If you'd rather I use the title, I can obviously do that, I might just slip up every once in a while." She finally stopped for a breath.

'Oh, sure, Hollis is fine, I'm not quite used to the whole MIstress thing either." Hesitantly she started, "Hela?"

"Yes?"

"Who is Miriam? I don't think I've quite met her yet."

Hela looked at her owlishly before bursting out in laughter. "Oh that's hilarious! Miriam was the Chosen from your original Dimension. There's a reason he likes to go by 'Death'. He's very touchy about his name, which is why it's so much fun to tease him about it."

"Oh. Okay then." She looked around the room and rocked on her feet. "So, is there a reason I'm here or?"

"Well we needed to check in with you, make sure you settled in right. And we needed to activate my mental link with you. Miri has his activated, as you know, but it's more likely that I get any new information first."

"I had nearly forgotten about that! Well, yes I've settled in fine. There have been two small incidents but nothing that important."

Hela smiled. "That's fantastic! So then this will be quick. We'll be checking in again in a while but since our channels will be open, next time won't be nearly as unexpected. We'll also be able to send nudges to make sure you're headed in the right direction, but I have a feeling you'll be just fine," she said with a wink.

"Um, great then! I'd ask what that cryptic message means, but you'd likely not tell me anyway, so let's get on with this, yes?"

Walking to her desk, Hela opened a small box that Hollis saw held a small glowing orb like Death had given her. "This shouldn't be nearly as bad as when you opened Miri's since we won't be activating your powers or anything, but you'll still have a killer headache when you get back."

Hollis smiled, "Nothing is ever easy when it comes to me, is it?"

"Unfortunately, not," Hela answered with a laugh. Placing the orb on Hollis' head she said, "Have fun, Lady Hollis. You should trust him."

"Trust who?" And then the blue light took over and she was being beamed again. "Oh joy," she thought, "more puzzles."
