Vytas's dreams consisted of recollections of his home. He'd only been away from his world for barely a day but he feels like he's forgetting his Mom and Dads faces. He asked himself "Why?" "Why is this happening to me" He reaches out for his Mom and tries to grasp her- only for his hand to phase through her body and touch nothing. "No- Don't leave me", Vytas pleaded "Please! Take me with you!", He reminisced when he refused to help Latios the first time. He must've looked so cold and menacing, Vytas cursed himself. The images that were his Mother and Father slowly faded away into nothing- and he was left floating in a dark, black void. It was cold there, but he noticed a warmth coming from the right. He drifted toward it- the warmth steadily growing until it was stiflingly hot. With one last push- he dived into the heat.
Latios collected logs for the fire "That was- weird ..", He said aloud ' Why'd he faint like that? What was going on in his head? ' Latios was extremely concerned about Vytas's condition, so he never strayed too far from his makeshift camp, he can remember it clearly.
I stared into his grey eyes, They were unfocused and staring- It was like I wasn't even there. I don't know what happened but .. He fainted- and I caught him just before he stuck the ground. "Vytas? No no no.. Please- not another one", I shook my head to clear out images of deceased bodies in black, industrial bags being carried off to a mass grave. "I- I have to check him for any illnesses", Latios realised. He fed him every single medicinal berry he could find- working tirelessly for what felt like hours. Using whatever he could find, he made a bed and gathered sticks to start a campfire. Latios didn't know what happened- but he seemed to lose all of his moves. He still retained psychic, tackle and dragon claw. He honestly didn't care anymore- he lit a flint using his sharp, metal like claws and started the fire. Setting Vytas's bed and laying him down next to it, he hoped that would keep his body at core temperature. Now all he needed was hot water, Latios flew at extreme speeds toward the shore and scooped water using a bowl-like piece of wood. "How will I heat this",I said loudly. "I-Ill figure it out later".Latios was now sweating profusely- constantly thinking about Vytas. He couldn't get him out of his head- every two seconds there'd be an echo of Vytas's jokes or his laugh.
He crested a hill and a horrifying sight lay before him. Vytas's face was mere inches away from the fire! Latios dropped what he was carrying and came down from the sky like a Pidgeotto. His hands lay open ready to scoop Vytas out of dangers way until- Vytas suddenly sits up!
"Huh? Whats going on Latio- OOHH GOOOD!", Vytas turned his head and looks at Latios barrelling towards him, Vytas braces himself for impact- eyes clenched shut, grinding his teeth- waiting for the inevitable collision. It never comes, he relaxes and says in a sarcastic voice "Hey, is this Deja-Vu- OWWWW! WHAT THE HECK LATIOS??!", He screams when Latios hits him on the head of his own accord. "And that is what you deserve after you scare your friend to near death", Latios says, crossing his arms "What do you mean Latios? Wasn't it me who was laying down on the ground, unconscious?!", Vytas also proceeds to cross his arms "Talk about a rude awakening ..", He grumbles. "Do you know how worried I was? I was- I was going crazy!", Latios retorted while puffing his cheeks out. "You are on the ground, cold, unconscious , weak, hungry and possibly sick?", Latios reasoned. "Ugh, why do you care so much .. I just fainted thats all-", Vytas answered "WELL LISTEN HERE MISTER, NUMBER ONE: YOU LOOKED LIKE YOU- YOU WE'RE GONNA DIE OK? AND NUMBER TWO: I SERIOUSLY LOV-", Latios was cut off "Ok! Ok! I get it, Jeez! Whats reason number two- please, continue .. I need to know so I can fully apologise", He said in defeat while scratching the back of his head. "Well- uhm .. The second reason is a- a secret- ahaha- hah", Latios nervously stuttered "But you we're just gonna te-" "Ah-ah -ah, No I wasn't gonna tell you", Latios humored Vytas and when he said 'Ah' he kept shaking his claw left to right- meaning no. "Fine, I'll find out someday", Vytas smirked "Oh no you won't!", Latios said "Oh yes I will!" "Oh no you will not ever!" Their bickering lasted quite awhile..
"What a drag", Vytas said as he helped clean up the makeshift camp "No no! I don't want to hear anything about it-", Latios scolded "Ugh .. You're not my mom" "Oh yeah? Without me you'd be super hungry right now!", Latios reminded Vytas "Yeah yeah, whatever", Vytas pouted.
What a ride that day was, and it just turned daytime for the two, I wonder. What wacky things will happen next ..
