Harold said after taking out a tiny little black dragon with a number four under its neck from a bag that was given by the man with the bowler hat. it's been a few days since he arrived in Hogwarts, and truthfully speaking, it's a bit boring here. Sure the view and the atmosphere of the place are extraordinary but it's still a boring place to be. Well, the good thing is because the place is so boring, he is finally able to work on some of his projects that he has been dodging.
The most important project being the winter soldier program, he isn't one bit surprised that the soviet has a covert super-soldier program, but what did surprise him is that the soviet use to work it together with the defunct nazi affiliation group, HYDRA. From what he gathered from the soviet data, it seems like what the American and the Britannia did after world war two, the soviet also recruited a lot of former nazi scientists. Combine that with how the Soviets able to rescue the supposedly kill Sergeant James Barnes, make them able to recreate the super-soldier serum, not perfect of course. Since their serum would turn the person injected by it to go insane, something that they would witness happens to their five test subject. Of course, because of them being so valuable they wouldn't kill the five test subject and instead put them into a cryosleep, on a remote military base.
That where he comes in, after the reunification of the Russian empire and the soviet union, their entire data system is integrated with the Russian empire, and since he is the one who integrated the data. He was the one who found out about the project and told his fiancée who would then send a spec op team to the place where the soldier was put in, to confirm it.
After the spec op confirms it, then it was his turn to work, he would be asked by his fiancée to restart the winter soldier program and start creating super-soldiers for the Russian empire. A task that is quite hard after all he didn't have the super-soldier formula that Abraham Erskine created, only a bastardized version of it. But thankfully he didn't need to recreate the exact formula Erskine created and only need to polish the formula that the Soviets and Hydra created. in other words, just making sure that the super soldier that he produces wouldn't become insane and uncontrollable.
He already sends the polished Soviet/Hydra super-soldier serum, to the Russian military forces, and they have injected the serum to ten people, who thankfully haven't shown any sign of insanity. While the five super soldiers that the Soviet/hydra created, have also thankfully can be made sane, thanks to a little use of mind magic. Making the Russian empire have fifteen super-soldiers, and with the training that they received, make them able to destroy an entire nation in hours, making them more dangerous.
''yes, and you must collect the golden dragon egg that the dragon protected''. The bowler hat man said
''that's all''. Harold ask
''no, the number on the dragon neck would determined in which order you fought it ''. The bowler hat man said
''ok, since I'm last, wake me up went it's my turn''. Harold said before going to the bed in the corner of the tent and then dropping on it. He would sleep for almost half an hour before someone would wake him up and told him that it was his turn to fight the dragon. Before he even leaves the tent, he can hear the cheer of the crowd, and the cheer would only be intensified went he got out of the tent.
The dragon it selves is quite small not as big as he expected it would be but then again after seeing the massive size of jormungandr, almost all dragons that he sees after that, seem small and insignificant. So went the dragon would unleash its fire toward him, he wasn't one bit intimidated. Raising a massive earth wall to hold the dragon flame and casting a cooling charm on his body, to resist the heat from the dragon flame heat. While transforming two rock that is in the side of the dragon to a spear and then launching it to the dragon eyes, killing it instantly. Making the crowd stop their cheering and shocking both the judge and the crowd, since they probably didn't expect him to kill the dragon. After all, they probably think that he isn't that powerful to kill a dragon, since killing a dragon is seem something almost that is impossible. After all, dragon is one of the most dangerous magical creatures that existed with their ability to fly, fire breathing, and skin that is almost resistant to magic.
Of course, even though he kills the dragon, he still has to collect the golden dragon egg to win, so he would summon the egg while lighting a cigarette. After that, he would go back toward the tent and be checked by the Hogwarts nurse before being asked to go outside again to get his score. The five-judge would of course be the one who gives him the score. The first would be dumbledore who would give him a seven, something that is unexpected since he did kill a dragon something that none of the competitors can do, or maybe that the problem. The second one who would score him would be the giant woman who gives him a nine. Then it was the turn of the eighty bad guys who would score him the lowest with a four, making him raised an eyebrow, since the guy didn't like to be someone that cares much about killing, or maybe he is secretly is an animal lover. The next judge would be the bowler hat guy who would give him a ten. And the last would be the mustache guy who would give him an eight. In total, he was able to get a thirty-eight score which isn't that bad, but a bit weird since unlike the other competitor he was able to kill a dragon, so shouldn't that give him a higher score.
After that, he would be told by one of the Hogwarts professors to go back to the champion tent, since there would be a debriefing about the second task of the tournament. Went he arrived in the tent all of the judges and the champion is already in there.
''with all of you already here, I would like first to say well done to all of you to survive the first challenge, now you have until half-past nine on the morning of the twenty-fourth of February to find out about it and prepare for it, the golden egg that you hold would help you in this regard, now do any of you have any question.'' The bowler hat man said
''yes, do we need to be in Hogwarts until the twenty-fourth of February, or could we leave''. Harold ask
''well you could technically leave but you still need to go to the Triwizard ball since it is mandatory,'' Dumbeldore said after seeing that the bowler hat guy be confused by his question
''when is it, going to be held.''
''it would be on the twenty-fifth of December.''
''ok, so I just need to go back before the twenty-fifth of December, right.''
''well yes.''
''Well then ladies and gentlemen, it's been fun participating in this tournament, and I would see you in the twenty-fifth of December,'' Harold said to the other participant of the tournament and then walk toward the exit, intending to get to his helicopter and leaving Hogwarts. But it seems fate seems to have another plan since went he get out of the tent he would be greeted by his girlfriend Daphne and his biological family. it still weird for him to interact with his biological family even though he has been spending most of his time in Hogwarts with them. He wasn't really sure why, maybe it's because he didn't get to spend his early years with them, making them seem to be more of a distant relative than his family. But thankfully even though he only just see them as a distant family, as of right now, he believed that to be a good progress, after all, it would better for him to see them as a distant family, then a stranger.
''hey Daph, family,'' Harold said greeting his biological family and girlfriend who would quickly wrap him in a tight hug
''Congrats on killing the dragon, Harold,'' Daphne whisper in his ear before giving him a peck on the lip
''hmmm, that's a bit short,'' Harold said before he would capture her lip again in a quite passionate kiss, the kiss it selves would only last a couple of seconds because his biological parent would interrupt it with a loud cough.
''sorry about that,'' Harold said after releasing Daphne who is still quite dazed because of the kiss
''congratulation, Harold''. Rose said before she would hug him, of course unlike the previous hug that someone gives him, he wouldn't kiss her. The next one who would congrats him would be his biological parent and then it would be the turn of his younger biological sibling.
''Harold, you're so cool, killing that dragon and not even breaking a sweat while doing it.'' the twin said
''Thanks.''
''could you teach us how to cast a spell-like you and how to kill a dragon''. The twin said in unison
''sure, it's isn't that hard to be able to cast spells like what I do, and about killing a dragon well the only thing you need is you're brain, play smart''. Harold said toward the twin who would look excited to be able to do what he is capable of doing before they would contemplate his next word.
''Harold, would you like to go to Hogsmeade, since we would like to celebrate your victory, but if you don't want to, it's alright after all you must be tired after killing a dragon and you are definitely more than welcome to join us, ms Greengrass,'' Lily said
''do you want to go,'' Harold whisper into Daphne's ear
''hmmm, I do need to buy some stuff, so why not,'' Daphne said
''ok, let's go,'' Harold said toward his biological parent who would look happy that he would agree to go to Hogsmead with them. The walk to Hogsmead wouldn't be as long as he imagines it would be, or maybe it's because during the journey he would spend talking with either his girlfriend or with his younger siblings and sister, so he didn't notice the time that it took to reach Hogsmead village. After arriving there they would go toward one of the pubs that were there with the name of The Three Broomsticks. The pub it selves is already quite crowded, something that was quite expected with there being from the look of it some of the spectators from the tournament, a couple local and of course some of his guard, who would quickly salute him, went they noticed him.
Most of his guard he brought with him to Hogwarts has just been lounging around their make-shift base or wondering Hogwarts and its surrounding. Making him think twice about why he even brought them here before he remembers he only brought them here, just so that he could re-create a scene from a movie. So it's kinda his fault since they didn't really have any clear objective. Thankfully even though they just mostly lounging around they still continue their training, so they still ready if anything should happen.
But even should they didn't even train, he still would wager they would beat anybody. Since after all not only there training is a combination of the curriculum from the Spetsnaz and the SAS, his personal army is also only composed of demigod, magical beings, mutant and Asgardians. Not to mention he also equip with them with some of his more advanced military hardware. Making them in theory the most dangerous and capable army on earth.
They would thankfully able to get a table in the place and would order some food and drink which would surprisingly arrive quite fast.
''so Harold, do you even know that you are going to face a dragon in the first task,'' Rose ask him
''not really, why.'' Harold answer
''well, I heard a rumor that the other champion already knows they are facing a dragon,'' Rose said
''oh really,'' Harold said with a fake surprised expression on his face
''yes but it's only a rumor,'' Rose said while nodding her head
''sure is it,'' Harold said while looking toward his biological parent who would look away, making him smile. His biological parent would try before the first task to give him some idea of what he would face on the task. Of course with it being him, he didn't really care much about what he would face, so he remained oblivious to their clue.
''Why are you leaving Hogwarts, Harold,'' Lily asks trying to change the subject
''I'm bored,'' Harold said shocking the people at the table with his reply
''that's it.'' Rose ask
''yeah,'' Harold said
''I really thought, you would have another reason to leave other than being bored,'' Rose said
''well I don't have any other reason, this place is awesome but it's also a bit boring,'' Harold said with a shrug of his shoulder
''wow, this is the first time I hear someone say staying in Hogwarts is boring,'' Rose said with disbelief in her voice
''well if you have gone to the places, that I have, you probably know that this place is boring,'' Harold said simply
''maybe, you could bring us to some of those places,'' Rose suggested
''yeah sure.'' Harold said before adding ''when do you want to go.''
''wait, you serious,'' Rose asked with shock on her face
''yes, just tell me when you want to go and I send one of my planes to pick you up,'' Harold said
''well, that is unexpected,'' Rose said with surprise in her voice making him raised an eyebrow in question
''why,'' Harold ask not really getting what the big problem is
''I kinda expected that you wouldn't just agree, that fast,'' Rose said
''And why shouldn't agree,'' Harold said with a look of bewilderment on his face
''well because, I don't know, I kinda don't think that you would agree so fast,'' Rose said
''Why, it doesn't really matter, I mean what there's supposed to think about,'' Harold said simply
''I don't know, what about money,'' Rose said
''what about it,'' Harold ask
''isn't traveling expensive,'' Rose said
''not really, well it depends actually on the person, they could travel cheap or expensive, and why would I care about money, I have more money than I could spend for a hundred lifetime,'' Harold said with a smile since he didn't really get why his twin would be like this
''well, ok ok,'' Rose said
''look Rose don't think too much about it, if I could do something, of course, I would try to do it, after all, we are family,'' Harold said
''yeah,'' Rose said with a smile
''Why are you being so weird Rose.''
''Nothing,'' Rose said while taking a sip of her butterbeer
''well, ok.''
''so do you have any idea where you are going, Harold?'' Lily ask
''maybe, either New York or Moscow, I haven't decided yet,'' Harold said with a thoughtful look on his face. Since if he goes to New York he would meet his adoptive big sister who is also technically one of his girlfriends, or he could go to Moscow to start working on some of his project that is in Russia and meet with his other girlfriend
''I hear winter in Moscow is really beautiful,'' Lily said
''it is.''
''hey, Daphne I have a question for you, but it's quite personal so if you don't want to answer it's alright.'' Rose suddenly ask after a couple of second of silence
''Just ask away Rose, if it's to personal then I could just not answer it.'' Daphne said while taking a sip of her firewhiskey
''ok, so I wanted to ask how you are alright with Harold having a relationship with other girls,'' Rose ask Daphne who would remain calm from the outside but on the inside, he could see the conflict to either answer or ignored the question. But it seems the side of her that wanted to get this over it with won and she would answer the question.
''Truthfully speaking, I hated it, no more correctly I despised it, do you know how painful it is to know that the person you love, have another person in his heart, multiple people that is,'' Daphne said before stopping to gather her breath since she has become quite emotional. Something that is definitely understandable, after all this is one of the most sensitive subjects for her. ''but I love him and even though it doesn't really make sense why I agree on sharing him another woman, I make my choices, it either share him or lost him, and I choose to share him.''
''I'm really sorry about the question, Daphne,'' Rose said with an apological look and sound in her voice
''Don't be, you're not the first and definitely not going to be the last to ask that question, so no matter how painful it is for me to answer it, I have to start to get used to it.'' daphne said
''I have a question.'' Dorea ask while raising her hand making him chuckle
''and what is that question,'' Harold said
''So how are you going to marry, since isn't polygamy illegal,'' Dorea said
''well in some parts of the world it is illegal while in other parts it is legal and thankfully in the wizarding world it is legal,'' Harold said simply
''wait really,'' Charles said with
''yeah,'' Harold said
''I didn't know about that,'' Charles said
''well, it's not something that is really advertise much,'' Harold said
''talking about wedding, how are you going to wed actually, I mean for you're muggle girlfriend since isn't a monarch wedding must be using the muggle custom,'' Dorea ask
''well, yes, that is correct,'' Harold said
''then how are you going to wed,'' Dorea ask
''well under muggle custom or more specific under orthodox custom,'' Harold said with a shrug of his shoulder
''I mean for the other girls,'' Dorea said
''oh, we just use wizarding custom or we don't marry it isn't that hard,'' Harold said
''how many girls are you in a relationship with,'' Charles ask
''eight,'' Harold said
''wow, do you plan on adding anymore,'' Charles said
''not really,'' Harold said, the rest of their time in the three broomsticks would continue with small talk, before they finally left went it's almost six pm.
