HI I AM DAUGHETR OF ARTEMIS
I knew Robin was gonna indulge himself into something like it.
If you don't know me I am Marion Luna Carson, Daughter of Artemis. I sense that Robin has talked a lot about me so I will probably not deal with introductions for now.
"ROBIN" Thalia shrieked.
"DAMMIT ROBIN DAMMIT!" She muttered to herself.
She was crying.
I had braced and prepared myself. Knowing Robin, that's the thing I loved and hated about him.
I remember the time when we were little our dog, Dawn ran away. Well it seemed like that, of course no kid would understand that Dawn was projection, he seemed real. It was now that I know it a gift from Hephaestus, my other Uncle. Why would Hephaestus care? God Aunt May was the Crush of the year, no kidding Hephaestus was mad, when Uncle Apollo came in there again, in order to meet us, but apparently was busy flirting with Aunt May and named it Dawn.
So as we thought Dawn ran off, with the reality being that batteries died, Robin spent the whole month looking for it. I was over my grief after a day or two, but Gosh Robin, he gets attached very quickly. Mother had told me, that there was some monster, and she herself would go there. I was reluctant at first. But she was able to convince me that, that was however the only possibility to get Annabeth back. Robin would act as a distraction while she went for hunting.
Don't get me wrong. I did argue why I should go, and I would NEVER let Hawky get in danger. NEVER! But Mom told me and her exact words, "Bravery comes at a cost, child. Sometimes it's Bravery to stand back. Robin needs to go as he is more suitable. His Emotions will never be put aside, as we both know. His weakness is actually a strength. His ability will allow his travel to be swifter. We don't have many days left. He can fly, he can swim he can run. Marion, the prophecy will come and it will be no easy task. You have the power of communication. Mark my word YOU WILL NEED IT"
"You do realize that you are his mother. You are putting your child in Danger"
"I know my child. And I have left the decision on him."
"If you knew him you know the answer then."
"Fine. Convince him to stay then"
"This means you don't know me….. AS WELL"
This was the first time in the world I had ever had a heated talk with my Mother. I walked away.
And then Robin did it.
Percy was left open eyed as he could not just believe what had happened.
"Thalia, Perc" I said.
Thalia looked at me with her teary eyes, and Percy looked at me for Answers.
My mother intervened.
"Percy I would like to have a little talk with you."
I gave Percy the note. He hugged me and went with my mother.
"Thalia, if he didn't go he wouldn't be able to live with himself."
"I know. He…..he"
I had seen Thalia Grace in tears for the first time.
"He'll be fine, Hawky Donkey I have faith in, no doubt about it."
"Hawky Donkey, how come I didn't know it?"
She smiled.
" AAAAAAAAAAA" I shrieked.
"Marion"
I had dreaded it from quite the beginning. It was the Empathy link, Robin was in danger.
