sabo glared up at the large bandit.

the bandit glared back.

he had been caught living in their territory. if it had been any of the ones he normally saw, he would've dealt with them and been on his way.

but it hadn't been any of the usual bandits. it was their leader, curly dadan. and she didn't look too pleased at the sight of him.

maybe she was frozen in place, sabo thought, she hadn't moved an inch since she had grabbed him by the scruff. she just kept glaring.

dadan wasn't sure what to do with the brat in her grasp. his face was roughed up but his clothes spoke of money. she hadn't seen a child in these woods since garp's gremlin of a grandson, but that was ages ago and this was now.

she'd need at least 3 drinks to process the situation. where was that old pirate when you needed him.

'benn, load the men! the winds have shifted!'

benn groaned, placing his jug of ale down in annoyance, ' three months of nothing and now you want to move out? give me a break!'

'yeah, couldn't you have waited one more week? i would have won the betting pool,' yassop called out from the sea of men.

'i could've won last week..,' lucky roo grumbled to himself.

'this is no time for your antics, we need to reach dawn island by next week! now up and steady you go, we leave in thirty!'

'antics. what a laugh, coming from that guy,' benn strained to his feet, ' you heard the captain, clear your junk and get the Red Force ready! apparently we have to sail across two oceans for his whims!'

groans could be heard from all the men. They should have known being the crew of a magi wouldn't be easy.
