"Wow, Crystal." Mac said inside the throne room at the Winter Palace. "I can't believe the first time I came here, we never played one on one."
"Or better yet...one on one on one!" said Bloo, as he swung a hockey stick, which the Snow King took and gave to Mac, while saying. "I love your energy, sport. But let's let Mac have his turn, shall we?"
"He's right, Bloo." agreed Mac. "Maybe you can get next game."
"Uh, sure, Mac." said Bloo. "Whatever you say."
Once he sat down with the Foster's Gang, the Snow Queen blew her whistle, signaling the start of the hockey game.
As Mac and Crystal skated through the room, trying to claim the puck, Raven said. "Wow, I never knew Mac was this good."
"Well, when I first met him," explained the Snow King. "I saw the face of a potentially skilled hockey player."
As he spoke, the royal staff erupted with cheers.
Crystal had just swung the puck into Mac's net.
"Skilled, huh?" Raven said, raising an eyebrow.
"Well, even if he is," said the Snow King. "No one can outmatch my little snowflake."
When it came time for the next round once the Snow Queen blew her whistle again, Mac skated past Crystal, stealing the puck, which he swung into her net.
As the staff cheered louder, Bloo snatched away Mac's hockey stick, saying. "Yes! My turn."
"But, Bloo, we can't stop now. It's all tied up." said Mac, who pointed at the scoreboard, which added another point for...Crystal, who had just swung the puck into his net, saying. "It was all tied up."
The Snow King chuckled heartily as he and the Foster's Gang walked up to Mac, saying. "You played well, my boy. But, of course, we all know who'll win this game."
"We also know she can't magic her way out of everything." added the Snow Queen.
"Why not?" said the Snow King, who blew a magic kiss to his wife. "It works for me!"
"Still, that was a good game." said Mac, who held out his hockey stick, which Crystal gently pushed back, saying. "You can actually keep this one...as a momento."
"Really?" asked Mac.
Realizing what was happening, Bloo snapped. "No way! All day long, I've been Mr. Smiling Nice Guy doing everything that you want to do, but no more! We're doing what I want to do and you guys can get lost!"
"Now I know why you've been twitching." said Blondie. "You were jealous because..."
"I AM NOT JEALOUS!" shouted Bloo.
"Face it, Bloo. You are." said Raven. "Just because we wanted to spend our last few moments with Mac, that doesn't give you the right to be a...a royal jerk!"
Stunned with what he heard, Bloo sputtered out angry gibberish and stormed off.
Brooke: Well, that's one way to end an argument.
Male Narrator: Especially when this story is meant for young readers.
"Does he always act like this?" asked the Snow Queen.
"Only if things don't go his..."
"Six o'clock and all's not well." the walking clock announced, interrupting Mac.
"Is it that time already?" asked Ashlynn.
"I'm really sorry, guys." said Mac. "But I gotta get home."
"Well, however after today turned out..." said Apple.
"It was just right." added Blondie, who, along with the Foster's Gang, gathered around Mac, hugging him until Raven cleared her throat, saying. "I'll, uh...walk him back."
While she took Mac with her, Apple asked. "Do you think we should tell Bloo Mac said goodbye?"
"Nah." said Briar. "It'll probably make him more jealous."
