'Ten dead, in an instant.' I thought as I looked over the crime scene.

"How did this happen?" Yoruichi questioned as she walked up to me, with me keeping my eyes on the police as they moved the bodies. "You say the girl caused all of this?" She questioned, with me nodding.

"She isn't a contractor, she's a mutant." I informed, with her nodding her head.

"The girl just killed a large group of people, two miles from your positions." Argo said, with me placing a finger up to my ear.

"Understood." I said, not liking this one bit.

"The police are evacuating the people, they don't know what to do." Zero Two said, with me walking away with Yoruichi not far behind me.

"I do." I said, not liking what I was going to do.

Later

"Six more bodies." I said as I walked into an ally and saw six bodies lined up. "Its almost as if her powers are killing people in a set radios." I said, looking behind me, seeing an entire group burned to a crisp.

"You're right, the police cant approach the girl, two have tried and were burned alive." Zero Two said, with me talking off in the direction that the screaming was coming from. "The Hellfire club is here, and one of them just killed the police." She informed as I picked up the pace.

"What's going on over there?" I questioned as I took flight after entering my decay form.

"One of them can control wind and is using a large gust of wind to protect himself from the girl, they are taking her with them." She said, with me cursing as this was bad.

"Chasing her now is a waist, they are going after Takashi's research, and plan on using the girl as bait!" I said, making a U-Turn and heading towards his location.

Later

"I'll give it up." I heard as I opened the door, watching as Takashi hung up the phone and let out a sigh.

"Your daughter is a mutant." I said, making him jump at the tone of my voice. Walking over to his desk, I grabbed the folder that was on it. He reached for it, but jerked his hand back as I extended my claws, nearly cutting it off. Looking threw the folder, I frowned, then glared at the man for what I just read. "You used your daughter to create Contractors?" I questioned, tossing the folder at him. "What did you do to her, tell me!" I said, extending my other claws and getting ready to cut him down if he didn't answer.

"I'm guessing you've heard the stories about me and my past." He said, with me just staring him down. "I knew you were there, just as you know that I was there." He said, with me remembering Heavens gate. "When I came back, I brought something with me. Something organic that could be used to put the X gene to rest, like a cure, but I created something else." He said, with me nodding as I knew of this. "You know how mutants are seen around the world, just imagine what one with no emotions would be like, one who had to take orders no matter what it was." He said as he stood up. "I shut it down after I learned what I created, and I've tried my best to keep my girl human for as long as possible. This caused her to become a mutant contractor, one whos powers cant be controlled." He said, making me frown at this.

"So you threw your life away and came here." I said, with him nodding. "You gave up on her.' I said, with him pinning me against the bookshelf.

"I tried to suppress her x gene and look what it did! There was no way I was going to let them test on her, she's my girl!" He said, pushing me back as he backed up. "I saw what she was becoming... but I didn't have it in me to do what was needed." He said, with me knowing what he was talking about.

"If you're looking for forgiveness, you wont get it from me." I said, turning towards the door and making my leave as I knew where the girl was.

Later, warehouse district

"Target eliminated." I said as I cut the head off of a member of the Hellfire Club, with me kicking their head as I walked towards the power box. Opening the power box, I pulled down all of the switches, cutting out the power completely. Making my way towards the entrance, I stopped once I felt two on the other side of the door. "Fools." I said, draining their life from the other side, killing them.

Kicking the door open, I watched as it was cut down, with me stepping out soon after. "Is that it?" He questioned me, with me getting a good look at him. "He was a tall African American with an afro and bushy side burns, wearing a dress suit.

"You control the air, hardening it to create a barrier around you or making weapons." I said as I observed his Mutant ability.

"Impressive, you have a keen eye." He said with a smirk, where he sent a whip at me, with it disbursing before it could hit me. "You have a similar ability, absorbing everything around you to power yourself up." He said, with me holding a hand out to him.

"No, not me." I said, sending Decay out and watching as it consumed him before returning to me, leaving nothing but bone behind.

"That's as far as you go." I heard, with me looking over at a man as he held a gun towards the girls head, with her being fast asleep. "If you care about her, you would leave right now." He said, with me staring at him.

"That's enough!" I heard, with me looking over at Takashi as he entered the room and walked up to the man.

"Good, you chose to come back to work with us!" He said, smirking at the older man.

"No, just to give you my research." He said, stopping a few feet from him. "Just give me my daughter." He said, with the man nodding.

"Fine." He said, backing away while keeping his aim on the girl.

"Here." Takashi said as he tossed down a dead plant, confusing the man.

"What is that?" He asked as Takashi walked up to his daughter and picked her up.

"That's what my research lead me to, and what it became." Takashi said, where his daughter started walking up. I watched as he caught on fire, shocking me. Holding my hand out, I was about to take the fire away, but he turned to me, and his expression said no. I watched as he burned alive, all without saying a word, and soon after, the man was set on fire as well, with his screams echoing through out the building.

Once the water sprinklers came on, I walked up to the girl a she held her father, humming a song to herself. 'Her contractor power was fire creation, but her mutant power was ice creation.' I thought as I stopped a few feet from her. 'Its safer to kill her here and now.' I thought as I extended my claws.

"Leave her." Argo said, with me looking at her as she was at the door. "We have someone who can help her, keep her asleep." She said, with me looking back at the girl.

"Death would be best." I said as I put my claws away. "Trust me, not even I can help her." I said as I turned around and started walking away.
