HERMIONE'S P.O.V

After all the bizarre incidents of the morning, the day seemed uneventful, which was odd. I still didn't trust the Royals. And the way Mrs. Black obeyed all of Nico's commands and kept calling him Lord, or the way Mr. Weasley obeyed Piper's unusual request with his eyes lolling, and the fact that they spoke in a weird language secretly, all of these were enough to get me suspicious and I think they might work for the dark lord.

Too absorbed in my thoughts, I didn't realize Annabeth was behind me until she tapped my shoulder.

"YIKES!" I said, turning around to face her. "Don't scare me like that."

"Sorry Hermione. Your eyes had a lost-in-thought expression; like you were trying to put things together but you're missing something." She said.

"How did you know that?" I said, amazed that she gathered all that information just by looking at my eyes.

"Your expression looks exactly like all my cabin mates look when they're lost in thought. If I didn't know better, I'd have thought you're my sister."

I stared at her startling grey eyes, trying to find any hint that signaled it was a joke. I found none. She looked completely serious about that.

"What do you mean about cabin mates?" I asked.

"In our school, there are cabins instead of houses, each one representing a Greek god or goddess. We are sorted into cabins depending on how much our personality resembles a certain god or goddess. I'm head counselor for Cabin 6, the cabin for Athena, the Goddess of wisdom and warfare. Head counselor is the equivalent for Head Girl. If you were in my school, you'd be in Cabin 6" She said.

Pride filled my chest with a warm sensation. I love being recognized for my wits.

"Oh, that explains it. Then Percy is the head counselor for cabin 3, right?" I said

"Yes, but that's because he's the only person in cabin 3, except for Tyson, who comes occasionally."

I kept asking questions about her school, while she asked about Hogwarts. That conversation slowly changed to a conversation about our lives. When I asked her about her family, she got a bitter look.

"My mom doesn't care much about me, and my dad married another woman, my stepmother, and had 2 kids with him. She hated me, and I ran away from home when I was 7. I met Thalia at that time. Then Percy started fixing my relationship with me and my dad when I was 14. Now I guess we're fine."

We kept talking and I started noticing similarities between her and me. She was literally like a cooler version of me. I started trusting her a lot more and saw the Royals in a whole other light. They no longer seemed like the battle-hardened, serious teenagers who looked more like adults. They now looked like bubbly, happy teenagers, but they still had broken eyes, like their eyes were saying, 'I've seen too much'.

-TIMESKIP!-

The next day our Hogwarts letters came. I wasn't very surprised to get Prefect, but was extremely surprised to know Ron was Prefect, too. In our letters, there was a piece of parchment that read:

Kids from the Olympia family are coming to Hogwarts!

~Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

I skimmed through the things required for fifth years, and one of them caught my eye.

"Professor McGonagall, why do we need a set of muggle clothing?" I asked.

"We need what?!" Harry and Ron asked simultaneously.

"Oh right, I forgot to tell you guys," Percy said. "I'm going to teach Basic Fighting, which will be a compulsory class for all students year 3 and up. You'll need muggle clothing for that class, just so you're comfortable and don't trip on your robes."

"I'm also going to take Survival Skills and Battle Strategies, which will be a compulsory class for all students." Annabeth said.

"Wait a minute. You both are going to teach classes? You're only 17!" Harry said.

"Yeah, but we've done much more than the average 17 year old." Percy said.

"I've done more than the average 17 year old too!" He roared.

"Calm down Harry, calm down. We didn't ask to teach. Dumbledore asked us to teach and we were like, okay, sure." Percy said.

"Wait, I have a question. Isn't Basic Fighting basically DADA?" I asked.

Percy gave me a wicked smile and said "In DADA you fight with a wand. In Basic Fighting you fight with your fists or with a weapon."

"What?!" we all said.

"You want us to fight without a wand?!Why is that necessary?" Harry asked.

"What if you lose or break your wand during a battle? You can catch your enemy off guard if you fight bare hand or with a weapon." Annabeth said.

"Where are we even going to get weapons?" Ron asked.

"We've got that covered." Clarisse said. All of them did some sort of small action and suddenly they were holding weapons.

"Those are dangerous!" Mrs. Weasley said.

"Don't worry Mrs. Weasley; we know how to use these." Katie said.

"Those are so cool!" Fred and George said.

Percy smiled at them, and everyone put their weapons aside.

"So, do you have any questions?" Reyna asked.

I had a lot of unanswered questions, but they were already spinning in my head like mini Ferris wheels, so I shook my head. The boys followed suit.

"So, when are we going to buy our school supplies?" Jason asked.

"Wait, I thought you're professors. Why do you need school supplies?" I asked.

"See, we'll be teaching you classes sometimes. But the rest of the time, we'll still be students." Annabeth said.

"We can go tomorrow if you're up to it." Mrs. Weasley said.

"Sure!" they all said.

We then began our daily cleaning routine.

-TIMESKIP BECAUSE I DON'T WANNA WRITE ABOUT CLEANING-

It was 11 in the night. I went to the Royals' room to ask Annabeth a few questions when I heard people talking through the slight gap in the door.

"How's everything at camp, Malcolm?" I heard Annabeth say.

"It's fine, though it's kind of weird not seeing Connor and Travis getting chased by someone at the end of the day." An unidentified voice said.

I put my eye to the gap in the door and saw everyone sitting on the floor, surrounding a weird, glowing screen that looked much like a hologram. It looked something like a video call on a muggle laptop, except there was no laptop. I could see a boy in the screen. He looked a lot like Annabeth, with messy blond hair and grey eyes. I guessed that the boy was Malcolm.

Connor and Travis grinned.

"How's everything over there?" Malcolm asked.

"It's great! The school we're going to sounds great. We're going to teach these wizards sword fighting." Annabeth said.

"Believe me, you and Percy sparring is the most mesmerizing thing they would've ever seen. Also Capture the Flag's Friday night, and we're partnering with Aphrodite cabin and Hephaestus cabin. " Malcolm replied.

"Ooh, you just gave me an idea, brother. How 'bout we make the wizards play Capture the Flag- Camp Version?" Annabeth said.

"They will never, ever play anything more competitive. I'm all for it." Malcolm said with a grin.

"Wait, Malcolm, who's the emergency head counselor for Cabin 10?" Piper asked, urgency in her voice.

"It's Mitchell, why?" he asked.

"Oh thank gods it's not Drew." She said, sighing in relief.

"Okay guys, I gotta go. Bye!" Malcolm said

"Bye Pace!" everyone said.

Percy stuck his hand into the screen and swiped up. The screen burst and dissolved.

"Okay guys, let's sleep. Good night." Thalia said.

"Good night!" everyone said in response.

The lights turned off.

It took me a moment to process what I had just seen. There wasn't anything wrong with what they talked about in the call. It didn't even seem suspicious. But how did they even make that call? It didn't look like they were projecting something with a muggle device, and I doubt there's a charm for making a call like that.

My heart beating fast and my mind throbbing from trying to comprehend what I just saw, I went to the girls' room, got into my bed, and let sleep take over.

A/N- ANOTHER CHAPTER! MY ORIGINAL PLAN WAS FOR HERMIONE TO MAKE A SOUND AND THEY FIND OUT SOMEONE WAS SPYING ON THEM, BUT I FIGURED PIPER WOULD PROBABLY JUST CHARMSPEAK HERMIONE, AND WHAT'S THE FUN IN THAT? ALSO, NO MORE UPDATES THIS WEEK. I KNOW I KEEP SAYING THIS, BUT I HAVE TOO MUCH HOMEWORK TO COMPLETE, SO I'M STOPPING FOR THIS WEEK. ANYWAYS, R&R!
