AN: not mine ofc. I hope you like it!
The group had watched the first three when they decided it was a good time to break and eat something. "I guess we can actually use her in the team. I mean she's smart and resourceful." Natasha said, looking around.
Thor shook his head. "I refuse to work with a trollkvinne. They are toxic."
Wanda looked at Thor, it became harder and harder not to use her powers and flip his chair. Before she could do something, Steve spoke up.
"Look Thor I know you don't like witches but she seems like a nice person. She's been here for over a week now and she hasn't done any one of us harm. What's the matter with you and witches anyway? I thought Norse mythology had witches too and one was even called protected by Thor."
Thor looked at Loki, who subtly nodded his head. "You are right Steve but what mythology doesn't mention is we had to fight the trollkvinne when they started to rebel against the Alvader. They wanted more power and more land. They didn't use their powers for good anymore. They became greedy."
Loki looked around. "The Valkyrie had a hard time to push them back and lost a lot of good warriors to protect Asgard. That's why we don't trust trollkvinne. That's why we don't want to be here when she is awake."
Wanda stood up and slammed her fists down on the table. "I'm done with this shit. I'm a witch and you decided to trust me. I don't get how you people have more difficulty with trusting her, someone who isn't even from this universe, that hasn't wronged us in the slightest but don't think twice forgiving this fucker." She pointed to Loki.
Loki and Thor wanted to intervene but Wanda pushed them back in their chairs. "No, you listen to me now. You people watch those films and I can say they are fairly accurate until now what I've seen in her mind. Minor details were changed like how some of the characters looked but the rest is accurate. You should be ashamed of yourselves. If it was one of us that had fallen into her universe she wouldn't have hesitated to help us on our feet and offer us her respect and friendship. It sickens me that you guys don't even want to try and get to know her. I think you all need to think long and hard about what you're doing right now." Wanda left the kitchen and made her way towards the living room again. Thor looked at Loki.
"Thor and Loki, she has a point. You trust Wanda, she's a witch. Why is that Granger girl so different?" Steve asked.
"Wanda is different." Thor said. "But I guess we can try." He looked like a petulant child.
Steve nodded his head. "I think Wanda's right. We'll watch the rest of the movies and we'll judge at the end." The group mumbled their agreement and made their way back to the living room to continue watching the movies.
Hermione was staring at the ceiling. Tony had asked her a few hours ago to see the films that supposedly were based on her seven years in Hogwarts and she didn't know what to think. She didn't want to explain what happened to her so it made it easier in that part but she didn't need or want their pity. She knew she was going to receive it.
She missed her own world even though she didn't have any one left, she'd never felt more alone the days she's been here. Wanda was the only one that actually wanted her here. Maybe she just needed to get out of here and get a job so she could get her own apartment. She would have to magic her degree again or maybe just give it a go here? Hermione sighed and turned on her side. She was where she had wished to be but now she didn't know that it was what she expected. They were a lot more hostile than she expected which wasn't that surprising if Hermione thought about it. If the strongest of the world were betrayed who had the world to care for them?
Hermione shook her head and made her way to the door but it was locked. "Friday, can you unlock the door?"
"I'm sorry Miss Granger, I can't. Orders from Mister Stark to not let you out." Hermione sighed. As she sat down on the bed again. If she couldn't go anywhere, she could meditate. Hermione had always been sceptical about using meditation to make your magic core grow and had neglected it but now she had too. Her wand didn't work anymore and she knew that if she didn't reconnect with her magic, she would lose it entirely. Hermione closed her eyes and laid back against the pillows. She reached deep inside and found a pulsing red energy force deep inside her. It felt so familiar and safe that she reached out. One by one memories of her magic and the way she felt using it flashed through her mind. The warmth of the first time she held her wand, the fear when she had to use her magic to fight for her life and lastly love every time she had tried to heal Harry. The despair she felt after the last memory where she was sitting next to a collapsed Harry after the final battle made her cry. Hermione slowly opened her eyes and wiped away her tears. She would do everything to make Harry proud of her, even though she couldn't go back to her universe, she would make a life here. A life Harry was proud of. She closed her eyes and reached for the pulsing energy once again.
They finally had reached the end of the movies. The room was silent as the end credits rolled over the screen. Wanda stood up and turned to them. "Now obviously the epilogue didn't happen. Her best friend and brother Harry was murdered and her own people tried to attack her. I think we can just show her basic human kindness and invite her to stay can't we?" Wanda smiled, before walking towards the hospital room.
