A Sarkaz Male was walking towards a female Draco who was holding a cross spear in her hand and was dressed in form fitting pants, black military boots, a black coat with an orange armband with the Emblem of the Reunion group, a simple black shirt and a full-face Balaclava.
She was overlooking the city center where the infected had began to protest and riot against the rulers of Chernobog, and Chernobog's city guards were called in to contain the riot.
"Ma'am everything's ready." Said the man.
And hearing this the woman smiled behind her mask.
"Give the signal to begin." She said while the man simply nodded, and fired a flare into the sky in order to give the signal to begin the Uprising.
In Chernobog the morning had been generally quiet and it was only in 12:22 PM when the riots started.
The reason that there was a Riot was due to the fact that the Infected were mistreated, while yes in many countries like the Lungmen city-state, or Kazimierz as 2 examples the Infected were mistreated but that was mild compared to what the Oripathy infected had to endure in Ursus.
After all if you were an Infected in the aforementioned city state, they could at the very least have a chance of making of living, if they were to work for the Rat King of Lungmen Slums, that is, and in Kazimierz the Infected are treated marginally better, but in the back-scenes Infected Knights were thrown into blood sports by the corporations ruling over Kazimiers.
But in Ursus, the conditions for those infected with Oripathy were much worse.
They were stripped of their humanity, and of their right to exist, and then were later sent to work camps, which could also be argued that they also doubled as death camps, and the Infected worked there till they worked themselves to death, and if a child was born between the infected in those Work/Death Camps, well... Why not make use of spare bodies in case some infected died while on the work, after all the people had been conditioned in such a way that they either didn't care if a person infected with Oripathy got the infection, or there were those that said that they should be killed.
In Summary life for an Infected in Ursus was a constant struggle between life and death, if you were an infected you might be better off leaving the country.
For that reason the Reunion movement was formed, to fight for the rights of every infected on Terra.
At first Reunion was for the most part a peaceful, organizing protests rallies here and there, but the world was a cruel one and little if any progress was made. And what progress was made was shoved aside by the people on top of the governments of Terra.
That was until Morningstar joined the organization and took the reins, and steered the once peaceful organization to a militant group.
With her reasoning, being this.
"If we want to enact true everlasting change in this unforgiving world, you will have to crack a few eggs."
After she replaced the old leaders of the organization, with those loyal to her ideals, the organization began targeting military depots, raiding them for the equipment inside, and then attacking the work camps which, they were offered two offers to the infected join Reunion, where they were given a place to live, combat training, and most of all a Motive and a reason to fight against the oppressive system set in place.
With the choice being rather obvious, the organization increased it's numbers, and with increased numbers they expanded their operations, to selling of weapons and agitating the animosity between the infected and non-infected.
But enough with the history lesson.
In Chernobog the Riot was interrupted when all of sudden dark clouds appeared out of nowhere and thunder struck one of the buildings, bringing it down crashing to the ground.
A Catastrophe was upon Chernobog and Morningstar was the one responsible.
And soon enough Reunion forces followed suit gunning down anyone and the riot control police were not equipped to deal with heavily armed... soldiers, for the lack of better words.
"Well... It'd appear that everything's going as you planned boss." Said the Sarkaz as he looked at the havoc that's begun to occur.
"indeed, what's Patriot's status in dealing with the Garrison?" Morningstar asked.
"I'll ask him right, away ma'am." The Sarkaz said as he began to contact one of Reunion's leftenants.
Patriot
Ever since he was convinced by Morningstar to join Reunion, he had mixed feelings.
He could appreciate the Draco's efforts of keeping the Civilian casualties to a minimum, along with the fact that she's been fighting for the infected rights, even if it were violent.
"Greater good, she says. Yet I wonder how much will it cost to enact the change she seeks." The Wendigo thought to himself as he took down the last Chernobog garrison soldier.
"Sir! Revenant's on the line he want's to know the progress on garrison." Said one of the Shieldguards as he approached the team leader.
"Patriot, It's revenant how's the situation with the garrison forces?" Asked Revenant on the radio-com.
"Everything, is going according as planned. Ready the 2nd phase" Said Patriot.
"Good, talk later once the uprising is over. Revenant out" Said Revenant as closed the Radio link.
"Is all this death worth it Svaha? Are you preparing for a war, or is it simply revenge?" Patriot wondered to himself, seeing that Runion had turned into a heavily armed paramilitary group, whom had been agitating the relations between the infected and non-infected all across the continent.
But one thing was for certain they were to deep to turn back now.
Svaha/Morningstar
"So?" The Draco asked Revenant.
"The Garrison is out of commission, and things are green for phase 2." Said Revenant as he saw Morning star get up on her feet.
"And Civilian casualties?" She asked.
"Kept to a minimum as possible." Replied Revenant.
"Alright, now start the 2nd phase." Said Morningstar as she opened up her hand signaling for the radio to be handed to her, which revenant did.
"Crownslayer, this is Morningstar what's your status on the Council Guards?" Asked Morningstar
"Crownslayer here Ma'am, we are having a bit of a hiccup." Said Crownslayer as the sound of stabbing was heard.
"Oh?" Asked Morningstar with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah. They seem to be Rhodes Island operators form what their Rook coat of arms indicates." Said Crownslayer as she looked at one of he bodies and noticed the White Rook with the words "Rhodes Island" beneath it.
"Do you think they've been called here?" Asked Crownslayer.
"No, they probably are here for something else, though they might try to keep Civilian casualties to a minimum. Other than that ignore them move on to Phase 2." Said Morningstar.
"Understood." Said Crownslayer as she closed the radio-link.
"Now what boss?" Asked Revenant.
"Take over the city council, this is an Uprising after all." Said Morningstar as she placed her spear behind her back and rappel down the building, and made their move for the city Council.
Elsewhere in Chernobog
"What's the situation outside?" Asked Kal'tsit, as she used a Radio-comm, to talk with one of the Operators.
"Ma'am, Blitz here. Everything seems to have gone in Anarchy and there is an infected Uprising. And it appears that there is a Lightning Strike-catastrophe!" Said a Blitz as he opened the Radio Channel.
"Come again?" Kal'tsit asked.
"I'll say again: A lightning strike Catastrophe is occurring and there is an Infected Uprising is happening in Chernobog, and it appears that there are Reunion militarized forces involved in it." Blitz informed Kal'tsit.
"Are there any civilian casualties?" Asked Kal'tsit asked Blitz.
"No, ma'am so far they seem to avoid our operators, who are assisting in the city's evac efforts." Said Ash as she replied for Blitz.
"Alright, I want to be informed for anything that occurs." Kal'tsit informed the Members of Team Rainbow.
"Roger Ma'am." Was the Reply from the Team members.
"Amiya, What's the situation with the sarcophagus?" Kal'tsit asked the Executive Leader of Rhodes Island.
"Just a few seconds Ma'am." Amiya said.
"Alright, just hurry up, there is a Catastrophe happening and we also have no idea if Reunion will decide to target Civilians." Kal'tsit.
"Don't you think that's a bit far them, Ma'am?" Frost asked Kal'tsit, thinking that Reunion targeting civilians was a tad far fetched, yes they may have been targeting and raiding military depots, but they also have been liberating Infected from the Work Camps.
Something that reminded Frost and every member of Team Rainbow the Nazi "Work" Camps, or the Russian Gulags with the Names such as Auschwitz and Kolyma coming to the minds of the Team Rainbow.
"Still, sometimes is better to assume and prepare for the worst." Kal'tsit replied, as she turned her attention to the sarcophagus.
"The Sarcophagus is opening Kal'tsit." Said Amiya as the Sarcophagus opened whilst making a decompressing noise.
AN: Well this the 7th chapter of the Blitz Drachen. And yes I will be including Rainbow Team.
Spoiler Alert: Also the story's going to be an AU, for example Faust and Mephisto were picked up by Team Rainbow when they were first thrown into Terra, so you can expect them to be Rhodes Island Operators.
