Chapter 5: Rise of the Devil Pt. 3

Tsukauchi's POV (5 months later)

"Don't lose him, don't lose him!" *SKRRRRT* Just as I bought damn lunch, a bunch of a-holes just had to rob my favorite coffee shop.

'If Aizawa hears about this I'm gonna have to move these guys to a different police station just to prevent them getting killed by him.' The chase has been going for nearly 30 minutes and I'm very hungry. I swerved to avoid the pedestrians and the other cars but just as their car took a turn to the right, a huge explosion on the road happened, causing them to flip their car upside down. I slammed on the breaks, nearly hitting my head on the steering wheel before looking at what happened. The rest of my backup stopped as well behind me before they got out of their car. I took out my pistol before getting out as well. We can see the robbers crawling out of their car, all of them bleeding, battered and bruised.

"Wha-what the hell hap-" The man then looked to the road they turned to and started screaming and crawling back. I looked to the right as well and saw someone wearing a red skull mask and a dark red gothic leather jacket of sorts. I looked down on his hand and saw a sword as he calmly walks towards them. I recognize that mask, he's the vigilante known as The Red Devil that's been hunting down mainly gangs, molesters, abusers, corrupt small time corporations/businesses and rapists.

"RED NO!" However, he didn't swing down, instead he swung right behind him and beheaded one of them. All of us stared in shock at what just happened. The rest of the robbers are also staring as well before the masked man sheathed his sword and just walked into an alley behind the one who was crawling. I snapped out of it before taking this opportunity to rush the still shocked robbers and cuffed them. I looked at the dead one before sighing and just went to my car. As I got in, I felt my phone vibrate. I opened it up and saw it was a text. It contained the complete personal info of the person Red just killed. He started sending out infos of the people he killed 3 months ago, information containing video or picture evidence of their crimes, blood type, age, height, weight, hell he even got their former addresses, family members and quirk. This man he just killed is the 43rd person this year. I replied with 'Thanks' and just turned my phone off before pocketing it. I slid a hand down my face before starting my car and driving back to the police station.

'God what a day.'

Shiro's POV

I slid my small laptop into the big pocket within my jacket and shadow walked to the nearest water tower to get a high vantage point. I looked around with High Sense on to see if I can spot or hear nearby trouble. Amidst all this, I smelled something peculiar.

'*sniff* Cologne, Hawks.' I turned around and looked up and saw he was flying towards me. I just turned around and faced him fully as he flies down to me.

'And to think you're sly huh.' As he headed towards me, I blocked a kick that was aimed at my head with ease.

"You do know I smelt you from a mile away Rumi." As I said that, she landed in front but below the water tower and said,

"Oh so you think I smell bad?!"

"No you're using the same shampoo as I am, lavender just smells lovely don't you think? Plus, that shampoo is cheap but smells great." I took Hawk's feather bladed swipe at my chest full on with the feathers doing little to no effect at all.

"Oy, aim for the neck will you, this jacket isn't cheap." I lightly scolded Hawks after his attempt. I looked down and saw that Mirko was gone, even though I knew she jumped up while I was turning my head towards Hawks.

"LUNAR ECLIPSE!" I let her heel hit me on the head and I fell down the water tower, but I just rolled as I landed to reduce the impact and just started to walk away.

"What?! How the hell can you still walk?!" Mirko asked in disbelief.

"I'm a hard head, anyways, you guys wanna go to McDonald's? I can hear Hawks' stomach grumbling from here and I'm a bit hungry for some ice cream right now." I replied as I continued to walk away. I jumped up to the next roof top and just took off my mask before wearing a balaclava at super speed. I continued to walk before I heard Hawks yell at me to wait. Of course, I kept walking before I heard a loud crash right beside me and grabbed me by the shoulder.

"You think you're getting away that easy?" Mirko asked with a smirk.

"Sure I am, look, we're here." I nodded downwards at the front entrance of McDonald's. I suppose she's a bit surprised before I just jumped down to McDonald's entrance with Hawks behind me.

"Man you really couldn't wait huh?" Hawks asked teasingly. I just shrugged before getting in line.

"Find us a table would ya?" I asked him.

"Sure thing, oh and I want 6 nuggets." He then wandered off to find a table I'm guessing. I patiently waited in line till it was my turn. I ordered a McFlurry, a carrot bag and 6 nuggets. The cashier rushed off a bit too fast and I just rolled my eyes. Soon later, I got our order and went to the table where Hawks was just as Mirko entered.

"Got you a carrot bag." I plopped it down on her side of the table before taking the small plastic spoon, lifting the bottom half of my balaclava up to the edge of my nose and just start eating. Mirko walked up to us and just had a look of disapproval on her face.

"Are you seriously just casually eating with a killer vigilante?" She asked Hawks in irritation. He gulped a nugget down before saying,

"Chill, just because he kills don't mean he ain't nice. Look, he even bought you a carrot bag." He gestured to it. I can feel her irritation getting bigger and bigger before she just plopped herself down on the seat and started eating her carrots. And during all that, we never said a word to each other.

'What a weird day.'
