A beeping sound came next to him and Kaminari groaned. He slapped his table, trying to hit the alarm clock before admitting defeat and sitting up to turn it off. He begrudgingly sat up and blinked a few times to wake himself up. He thought for a second before he groaned.
The weekend is over. Back to school and hero stuff.
He looked at his computer and rubbed his eyes as they seemed to scream in retaliation. After spending most of their day at Undertown, they went back home and resumed the weekend like normal, and Kaminari decided to spend his last day just playing games all day. He didn't mess around with the Omnitrix or anything, but he did manage to get Sero's and Kirishima's phone numbers at the end of their trip to Undertown.
Sero looked mentally drained, and reeked of motor oils and smoke. When they asked him what happened, he just put his hand up in response. Kirishima himself was slightly sore, as he explained he helped some people move out of a shop, more specifically of a elderly woman named Mrs. Muzu.
After that, they decided if they were going to interact with alien life, it would probably be best if they had given each other's number for communication so that way they didn't need to make plans a day prior in order to work together and hang out. But yesterday, they just periodically talked with each other in their group chat about what they were doing. Kirishima spent the day working out and doing chores while Sero said he was internet surfing while watching shows.
The day did make him feel a little weird after the few days that came prior but it was all he could do as his parents were also off from work that day and he didn't wish to risk it like he did prior.
Well, he should probably get ready anyway.
He put on his uniform and shoved most of his stuff into his bag, with most of it being miscellaneous homeworks that XLR8 finished. He slugged the bag over his shoulder and made his way downstairs, with his parents already up. His mother was drinking her coffee while his dad was cooking something in the kitchen. He just grabbed some bread and threw some butter onto it. He stuffed his mouth with it and waved his parents goodbye before leaving. He heard them faintly reply before he closed the door and had left. He followed the same route he had before after he entered the train, but he decided to go through the forest. As he tread the path, the idea of how close the entrance to Undertown was entered his mind, but he ignored it as he made his way down the path. He reached the breach in the area, observing the area before making his way past it. It didn't seem very likely that there was any evidence of conflict anymore, as at some point someone filled the craters with water, making makeshift ponds.
It actually seemed natural in a way. He would have assumed they were there originally if it wasn't for the fact he was there to witness their initial creation.
He quickly left the clearing afterwards, thinking he might actually visit Undertown and Eric and Glenn again. When he finished his second game of football with the Kinecelerans, he went back to the riverbed to meet the couple. They had brought him back to their home, which was on the other side of the river and located next to a smaller market than the one they had originally walked in. Their home was small, with only one floor and few rooms. One thing he noticed right away is that it was slightly hard to breathe, which wasn't because of the smell, but rather the cause of the smell. Glenn explained that they kept plants from their original home planet, Methanos. Because of this, most of the plants produced small amounts of methane along with oxygen. While it was breathable, it wasn't due to the degree Methanos was because the planet was covered in a swampy forest so most of the planet's atmosphere was raw methane.
Kaminari was perfectly fine with not visiting that planet if it wouldn't kill him from suffocation.
He began the trek onto the road towards UA, this time without the excessive amounts of paparazzi present. When he reached the gate, he observed it's lack of metal plating, most likely caused by the breach from Friday. He wondered if that was how they got in, from the lack of what he assumed was the infamous U.A. barrier.
The idea that a villain caused this outbreak sent chills in his spine.
He entered the doors of the prestigious building, and made his way to his class. One thing about U.A. is that it was quite thoughtful on accessibility with mutant quirks and such, as the hallways and stairwells were tall and wide, allowing those with quirks that make them abnormally tall to fit in.
Maybe that is why the building is so large on the outside.
As he walked the halls, the watch on his wrist felt a little more pronounced. Sure when he wore it in the week prior it was a little odd, but now he knew more of the forms in the watch and better yet, knew that they were aliens.
He wondered if Sero, Kirishima and him were the only ones in the building who knew about aliens. Maybe there might be someone in the school who is an alien in disguise and they don't know it yet.
It was possible, from what he learned most aliens have abilities that could pass as quirks.
Maybe someone in his own class was an alien. It's weird now for him, with these ideas.
Wait, does Area 51 exist? Maybe All Might would know. From what he gathered from some of Midoriya's mumbling, All Might spent a few years in America so he might know.
Either way, he arrived at his class and opened the door. He saw a few of the students he was familiar with, such as Uraraka and Jirou. No Kirishima or Sero though. He sighed and sat down at his desk and sat there, taking a small glance at the Omnitrix.
Maybe he will go back to Undertown after school, after all he would have the ability to go XLR8 again and actually have an equal footing against the other Kinecelerans. Sure Ampfibian did, but that was only if he was a goalie. He wanted to try an offensive position today.
"Hey, you're Kaminari right?" He turned to the girl next to him, Jirou. She wasn't very much a talker from what he picked up but she did have this punk rock feel going for her. Like him, she had a little streak in her hair that resembled a sound wave, which from what he gathered from her mutant based quirk, was how it functioned. Sound.
He mentally chuckled. It was funny how they were similar in that aspect.
"Yeah! And you're Jirou, right? Sorry if I didn't exactly get it from our battle trial." He said.
"You asked to grab a bite." She countered with a flat tone.
"Well.. I uh" He tried to defend himself before she stopped him.
"I just wanted to talk to you. You got a pretty nice watch. Where did you get it?" Kaminari's heart dropped for a second and he began to lightly panic.
"Uh, I got it for free. Someone threw it away." He lied.
"You got that for free?" She interrogated him.
"Yup."
"A slick and futuristic watch?" She pushed on.
"Yup." He began to feel his stomach churn from her interrogation, and tried to not slip up anything about the watch.
"Is it broken or something? Display time wrong?" She asked. Kaminari was quiet as he looked at the watch.
Did it even tell time?
"Uh no. I don't think it can tell time. I just like the design. I think it fits with my color scheme." He told her. On another point, he couldn't take it off anyway so there wasn't a point anyway.
"Really? Wow, that's a lame watch if it doesn't do anything." She admitted. Kaminari smiled and turned his head from her.
'Oh, you have no idea.' He thought.
"Well, I'm sure I can tell time with it eventually. Maybe get it fixed…" He mumbled to himself. She nodded to his statement. The class began to louden as more people made their way in and started talking among themselves. He gently waved to Sero as he walked in and Kirishima had followed.
The trio didn't talk much, just a few off hand comments about what happened the day prior here and there. Their conversation ended when Iida had asked them to take their seats, even if he was the only one who wasn't present in his seat at the time. After he had admitted defeat and sat down, their teacher walked into the class and leaned against the desk.
His tired expression and unkempt hair bore into their very souls as he waited for something.
"Well, I guess you are all calmed down enough. We are going to be doing some heroic training today. All of today." Kaminari pumped his fist in excitement. Great, no homework or school work for today!
"Said hero work will be important to your grade." He seemed to add that last bit in for Kaminari especially but a few others groaned in response.
"What are we doing today sir?" Their froggy classmate asked their teacher.
"Thank you for asking, Ansui. Unlike your first day where you did combat trials, today we'll be doing your first rescue practice. As with your combat practice, it'll be off campus. So get your hero costume, or gym outfit and meet us out front by the bus for departure."
…
There was one thing Kaminari found a little funny about hero costumes.
Put enough of them together and you got yourself a comic convention.
The class waited in front of the building, waiting for the bus to arrive for their class. As with what happened earlier, the class began to section off into groups, but now the groups seemed more defined as people began to learn from each other and hang around people they are becoming friends with.
There were a few exceptions, like Todoroki and Midoriya, one for his lone wolf nature and the other for his complete lack of social skills. It was funny to Kaminari to see their stark differences everywhere else. Todoroki had crazy amounts of control on his uber powerful quirk, meanwhile Midoriya seemed like he just got it a few days prior with it's backlash. Although popularity seems also a stark contrast. Todoroki was obviously admired for his good looks, lucky him, but the class didn't migrate to him like they did with Midoriya. With the exception of Bakugo, almost everyone seemed to like Midoriya, including himself.
He just seemed like a nice guy.
"Alright everyone! The bus will be arriving shortly! Everyone lineup in alphabetical order for efficient boarding!" Iida shouted, doing his hand waves. Although like earlier, no one followed his lead as the bus rolled up to them. Everyone, much to Iida's dismay, bunched up and was ready to board as an unorganized mass of teenagers. He tried to organize them, but failed to account for the fact that U.A. had used their own style of busses, so the alphabetical lineup he wanted wouldn't be able to work anyway.
Kaminari managed to get one of the seats in the start of the aisle, and was parallel to Kirishima. He glanced around the bus, noticing Sero decided to sit in the back with Ojiro and that poor Jirou was sitting next to the nuclear bomb.
"You know… There is something I always wanted to ask Midoriya." Asui spoke up. The other seven of them looked at her to continue as she turned to Midoryia.
"Yeah Asui?"
"Call me Tsu." She corrected him.
"Uh, yeah. Sorry Asui-"
"Tsu." She reinforced it with a more serious tone.
"Sorry! Just, what was your question?" He asked her. There was a brief silence as it seemed as she mentally prepa-
"Your quirk is similar to All Might's. Are you related?" She asked bluntly. Ok, so she wasn't preparing. She is just very quick and doesn't sugar coat anything. Immediately, Midoriya flared up in color, shifting to a color similar to the red haired teen only two seats away.
"Wha-What? Nononono, it's not uncommon for people to have similar quirks. Strength enhancements are common enough…" He refuted. Kaminari chuckled, thinking of what he said to himself earlier.
"Plus, his quirk has that massive backlash. I don't think he could be related to him." Kaminari threw his own two cents into the pot as Ashido, a pink haired girl with an Acid quirk jumped in.
"Yeah I guess that's true. But it will be useful in hero work." Ashido added.
"Yeah. It'll get him popular with how flashy it is. Meanwhile, I don't think I'll turn many heads." Kirishima held his hand out and hardened it. Kaminari was about to jump in to encourage his friend about his actions during the drone attack, but he stopped himself before he let the secret out. If it weren't for Kirishima, Kaminari knew Upgrade would be an electrically charged pile of goo.
"I think your quirk is pretty great! It's great for hero work, great defense with a good strength enhancement as well." This time, it was Midoriya who came to encourage Kirishima. He seemed different this time, instead of being a shy hermit, he seemed more energetic and life-like. It seemed to him that Midoriya really changed when quirks and heroes were involved.
"You really think so?" Kirishima asked Midoriya.
"I know I'll become glorious. My quirk is the flashiest of them all!" Aoyama, a flamboyant teen in glimmering armor that allowed him to fire a laser from his belly button.
Normally, he would have been a little weirded out by that one if it wasn't for the last few days he has had.
"Yeah. You're just going to be known for your stomach aches." Ashido put a shoulder on him as she utterly destroyed any sense of confidence the teen had ever so casually.
"Well, at least you won't become infamous like Mr. Nuclear Badger over there." Kaminari mumbled. Sadly, that seemed loud enough for the person in question to hear him and stand up to counter.
"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU SAY ABOUT ME SPARKY?" He shouted. Kaminari's stomach jumped a bit before he calmed himself down a little. He may have made a mistake but he's going to try and roll with it.
"Yeah. Nobody likes someone whose personality is just a glorification of rolling a turd through sewer water and maybe adding napalm to it." He sadly knew from experience that was an accurate way to call Bakugo out on. Bakugo seemed to flare up at the mere mention of that and looked like he was resisting the urge to leap out and strangle him.
"You wanna keep going? I'll blow your arse straight into the stratosphere!" Bakugo threatened.
"Bakugo! Please calm down! We can't have any direct conflict on the bus!" Iida rose to reprimand his actions, which deflected his attention to the class president.
"Stay out of this, Four Eyes!" Bakugo barked.
"Yeah, his temper is going to stop him from becoming popular." Tsu pointed out. Bakugo whipped to her and leaned forward, to the embarrassment of Jirou.
"YOU WANNA GET KILLED TOO, KERMIT?" She didn't seem fazed as she just pointed to him and turned to them.
"See?"
…
The group stood in awe of the grand vestige of the USJ, which they had hoped was Universal Studios of Japan. It was a large dome like facility, with a massive stairwell leading to a large double door entrance.
"It's utterly astounding that this place is big enough for all of the cities and now this, let alone possess a budget to maintain all of this." Sero mumbled.
"Yeah, it's really weird." Kirishima agreed. Aizawa moved in front of them and looked around annoyed. He looked up the stairs and looked relieved. The class trailed his line of sight, and saw the short stature of a white clad figure, with a black dome on top of them.
"Well, at least they are here on time." He grumbled. He looked back at his class as a few members began to light up in excitement as they recognized the person walking to them.
"Class, I assume you are aware of who the hero Thirteen is?" The astronaut-like hero had arrived on the final set of stairs and they began to wave to the class.
"Hello, Class 1-A! Welcome to your first instance of rescue training! I assume you all know what this building is?" Their voice seemed to come off an intercom from their suit, which made Kaminari wonder if they had any correlation to his Upgrade form.
Or maybe he's just thinking too far into that.
"Yeah! Universal Studios of Japan!" The short but perverted Mineta shouted, followed by some of the agreements of the other classmates.
"No! Because we don't want to get a lawsuit from Universal! This is the Unforeseen Simulation Joint, designed to simulate natural disasters that you might encounter in your heroic careers." The pro explained, much to the disappointment of the class.
"Yeah! Because you're a rescue based hero because of your quirk! Is that why you're one of our teachers for today?" Midoriya asked.
"Indeed it is! Now, with your first day here, I am correct to assume you have learned how quirks can be used for combat?" They asked the class. Uraraka nodded with intensity as Bakugo smirked.
"Then you all know how deadly they can become." The tone of their voice quickly turned serious. Uraraka stopped nodding in confusion and concern as the class tensed. Thirteen held up their hands, where there were small caps on the tips of their fingers. Many knew what they actually were.
"As many of you know, my quirk, Black Hole, replicates the force of a small black hole. Ripping anything down to the molecular structure and sucking it up. Not even light can escape. Without any caution, I would have ended the lives of more civilians than I have rescued. This is the point of today's lesson. Your powers are not meant to inflict harm. I hope you leave here today with the understanding that you're meant to help people." They explained, dampening the mood of the class.
"By the way, Thirteen, where is he? He was supposed to be here. Did he get lost?" Aizawa leaned into Thirteen's general ear area. Thirteen slightly turned their head towards Aizawa and held up 3 of their fingers and whispered something Kaminari couldn't hear. Aizawa grumbled something about stupidity and turned back to the class.
"Alright, let's just get this over with. Everyone, follow us." Aizawa instructed. They made their way to the building and entered it. Inside was a sprawling expanse of a magnitude of environments and smaller buildings. In front of them lay a large staircase leading down into a courtyard area with a large fountain in the center. Beyond that was a large lake with broken ships and debris. Around them were forests and dome-like buildings and other areas, such as a small mountain range and ruined city.
Ok, Kaminari would admit. This was pretty cool.
"So, now we'll break into teams. I'll take ten and Aizawa will take ten as well." Thirteen told them as the two of them reached the edge of the stairs. Aizawa nodded to their plan and they were about to start taking students when the lights all flickered for a second.
Kaminari glanced around. That doesn't seem right…
Aizawa's head slowly turned towards the courtyard where everyone watched as a purple mass appeared by the fountain. As it expanded, a person with sky blue hair and an assortment of hands walked out, followed by a crowd of people with their own unique look to them. Soon, there was a massive crowd of people that had gathered with the final one being a large and muscular bird like creature with exposed brains. The swirling mass condensed until it took the vague form of a humanoid, with glowing yellow eyes.
"Hey.. those are some pretty interesting robots, Mr. Aizawa." Kirishima said with a tone of fear underlying in his voice. Aizawa growled and grabbed pieces of his scarf.
"Those aren't robots. Thirteen, keep them safe. Kaminari, can you contact the school with your quirk?" Kaminari blinked before tapping the device on his ear, a simple radio communicator he thought would be useful. He channeled some of his quirk into it to turn it on, only to receive static back.
"I can't get a signal. Something is blocking it. But uh.. I assume we are in trouble?" He said light heartedly. Aizawa scowled.
"Thirteen, keep my students safe. These villains are here for a reason." Those words brought the gravity of the situation down for a lot of the class, with their faces shifting into more worried and scared expressions.
The only ones who didn't look downright terrified or phased were Todoroki and Bakugo.
Figures.
"But sir! Your quirk isn't useful in a long fight. How are you going to win?" Midoriya asked. Aizawa didn't look at the boy as he put on his goggles and readied himself.
"Midoriya, you can't be a hero if you're a one trick pony." After that, he leapt down into the fray. Villains raised their hands to try and shoot them with mutant quirks that gave them gun hands but they were nulled as Aizawa gave them a round house kick and made them hit each other by throwing his strips and tugging them. The class watched as their homeroom teacher made quick work of the villains with finesse and speed.
Villains were being thrown around as Aizawa nulled their quirks left and right. No one seemed to be able to touch him or even utilize their quirk for that matter. Aizawa even turned some of the villains into weapons, using their bodys as a weight to knock around others.
"That's amazing…" Ashido mumbled in astonishment. The class nodded in agreement with her astonishment.
"Everyone! To the door! Get away from the staircase." Thirteen shouted. The group nodded and all turned to rush to the door. But before they could, the purple mass appeared and began to block the doorway.
"Hello." The yellow eyes appeared in the mist and greeted them. It was startling to hear such kind and gentle words but they all got the gist this wasn't a good sign. Thirteen quickly stood in front of them to shield them from the villain and his eyes narrowed.
"We were informed All Might would be here, but I guess we were wrong. But I guess ending a few students wouldn't be a big draw away. I apologize if this isn't what you intended but we also didn't intend to kill you." Kaminari's eyes widened as it clicked to him.
They wanted to kill All Might. He was supposed to be here with them, but for some reason he wasn't.
But how did they know they were here? How did they even know All Might was going to be here as well?
"NOT A CHANCE!" Before Kaminari could reach his conclusion, Bakugo and Kirishima surged forwards. Both swung at the villain, leaving a cloud of smoke and a small rumble from the explosion. The smoke began to dissipate, and much to the fear of the students, the villain remained apparently unharmed.
"That was close, but sadly you bunch seem more rowdy than for what your worth. Let's fix that.." He raised his mist and it rapidly spread out. It began to cover the class as Kaminari's stomach began to take several flips when his feet seemed to be floating. He felt like he was in a void before a rush of air startled him and the sense of falling over took him.
He collided with a dirty floor and pushed himself up, while looking around. He realized he was now in the mountain zone on the other side of the USJ. He looked around him and saw Jirou helping Yaoyorozu up off the ground.
So that's what his quirk was. Teleporting. That's annoying for them.
"Are you guys alright?" He figured just being helpful would be useful in this situation the group had encountered.
"Yeah. Surprised he didn't drop us high enough for us to just go splat." Jirou commented. Kaminari looked up, not catching any fleeting glimpse of the portal that dropped the trio.
"Which just means…" Yaoyorozu mumbled. The group heard a series of crackles and looked up around them. On the edges of the small pathway they were on, villains lined the edges, staring at them like they were prey.
"Oh, that makes sense…" Kaminari whimpered as he backed up to the two girls. They all jumped down to their level and began to slowly advance to them. A metal bar passed Kaminari as Jirou took it and Yaoyorozu made one for herself.
"Uh, could I have one?" He asked. Yaoyorozu looked at him before turning back to the villains, with a few of them running forward.
Of course, that's fun.
Kaminari watched as the two girls seemed to hold off a couple of the villains. A villain ran up to him and he stepped back in response. He ducked as the villain gave a sloppy punch at him. Yaoyorozu came to his rescue as she kicked the villain away from him.
"Thanks. I owe ya." He said as she quickly whipped around and cracked her metal pole against the jaw of another.
"You could help." Jirou said to his side as she rammed her pole into the stomach of a advaning villain, making him crumble to the ground.
"Then give me a pole!" He shouted as another villain came to him. In a panic, he kicked the villain in the shin. In a fit of holding the hurt leg, Kaminari pushed him into the ground. Yaoyorozu walked over and dropped the pole onto his stomach, incapacitating him.
"Use your damn quirk! Or something!" Jirou shouted before her earphones connected to her boots, causing a sound wave to knock out a few advancing villains.
Well, he could transform but then it would expose that secret, which he didn't want to do. Ampfibian and him have a similar issue, where a discharge could hurt Jirou and Yaoyorozu. Upgrade would need Yaoyorozu to make something, which would put her in danger if she did. Kickin Hawk would be useful, but he didn't know how useful he was in a large-scale battle, plus there might be a few villains with ranged quirks that haven't exposed themselves yet and all he had for a ranged battle are whatever rocks he could get his talons on. He didn't know how useful XLR8 would be with his speed. He knew his legs and tail were powerful from his games with the Kinecelerans, but he didn't know how to fight accurately with him yet.
So he was out of luck.
"Hey, you two are going to have to win this. My quirk is strong, but I could hurt you guys." He reasoned. Jirou seemed annoyed at his answer and her response was to grab his shoulders and she pushed him towards one of the villains.
"Then be my human stun gun!" She shouted. Kaminari slammed into the villains and with instinct, he activated his quirk and coated himself in electricity. The villain howled in pain but didn't try to retaliate as he was paraylzed. He looked up in literal shock and looked at Jirou.
"I am strong." He gave her a thumbs up and smiled.
"You can trust me!" Then a villain tried to crush him with a boulder. Luckily with Jirou's sound wave, it shattered and a doughy fist collided with his face, transferring electricity across the body of the villain, shocking him as well. It was quite funny actually, with him just having to try to hurt him only for them to become paraylzed.
"Kaminari!" Yaoyorozu called to him. He turned and watched as her back swelled as a sheet exploded out and fell onto her and Jirou. She wrapped the two up in the sheet and looked at him.
"Insulated." She tapped it and Kaminari got the gist and realized her intention. He pushed away the villain he was wrapped around and looked at the ground.
A small idea appeared in his head. Maybe it was just a no brainer or just a gut feeling but he figured to not hit his limit and just deveilver enough voltage to knock everyone out but keep his mental state.
He looked at the small army and smirked. He threw his hands up and some more intense sparks covered his body.
"TAKE THIS!" He screamed as he threw his hands down and the sparked hands sent large amounts of electricity down and around him, shocking the people around him. The area was illuminated and he watched as the villains had collapsed on the ground from the pain. He rubbed his head from a small headache he had, likely a tell-tale sign he was close to hitting his limit. He looked over at the still covered duo.
'Well, they are probably good enough for me to not be here.' He figured. He quietly crept away from them, surprised they didn't look up. He managed to get onto one of the ledges of the mountain range they were in and began to walk towards the entrance on the opposite side of the facility.
He reached for his radio, still receiving feedback. Now that he knows there were villains here, he knew that it was possible one of them was messing with the radio signal in the building, preventing anything from going out.
They really do seem adamant on killing All Might, which seems like an oxymoron since it's All Might. But then again, he was standing there with an alien watch that turned him into aliens so weird is slowly losing its meaning to him.
He heard a maniacal laughter come from where Jirou and Yaoyorozu were. He slowly made his way to a boulder that was between him and the gorge and saw a villain advance towards the teens, this one with electricity crackling along his body.
His body tensed. How did he manage to come out of his discharge? His quirk must have been electric, which would also explain the lightning covering his body. And he just left them. And he seems to be more experienced than the other villains they fought so that means…
They could die.
He crouched behind the rock. He is nearly at his limit, no way he could beat an adult who most likely had more experience in using his quirk.
He looked at the omnitrix and activated it. It was his only option to save them at this point, and he would have to hide before his time out happened. Ampfibian wouldn't work, Upgrade was weak to electricity, Kickin Hawk had no range and it was likely he could discharge too which took XLR8 out of the question. He swapped to a new head on the dial and the core popped up.
He breathed out. He hoped this form could beat him.
He pressed the core down as the yellow flash enveloped his boy. His fingernails hardened as they turned a copper color, and then they extended outwards and wrapped around his fingers, creating sockets. His skin shifted to black as his body grew in height and bulked up. His face flattened as his eyes merged until he looked like a cyclops. He felt his ears shift upwards as they elongated, forming a copper plug at the end. His tailbone extended outwards, creating a tail similar to his new tendrils on his head. As his feet and hands lost digits, metal coverings appeared on his hips, arms and shoulders. Finally, a yellow jumpsuit with bolts wrapping around his neck appeared on his torso with the Omnitrix appearing on his chest.
He didn't have time to look at his new form or to try to see what it could do, he immediately vaulted over the rock and landed between the villain and his two classmates. He stood up and looked at the villain who was surprised at his entrance.
"Who the hell are you?" Jirou and the villain asked in unison. That managed to alert both parties that Kaminari wasn't on either side, or that they didn't know whose side he was on. He smirked and took a fighting stance. Sadly, it didn't feel natural like it did with Kickin Hawk so he might not naturally know how to be a fighter.
"Like I'd tell you. But I won't let you hurt... these kids." His voice came out with a sense of static. It was impossible to tell what the villain's expression was with his skull mask, but his eyes narrowed. Kaminari glanced back at the two girls and gave them a thumbs up.
Which was a dumb mistake as the villian took the oppurinity to slug him against the face. He stumbled back before the villain quickly grabbed his antennae and pulled back for another. If this form had a nose, Kaminari most likely would have broken it by now. The villain's onslaught wasn't over as he effortlessly threw Kaminari onto the ground.
"Playing hero huh? I don't know how the boss got a hold of you but you better stay down if you don't want to die before them." The villain growled at him as he put his foot on his back.
"You seem nice at parties…" Kaminari growled as he decided to make his tail useful. It extended outwards and jabbed the man in the stomach, making him recoil in pain. Kaminari pushed himself up and whipped his mouth. He ran forward, not as fast as Kickin Hawk or XLR8, but definitely fast enough to get the villain off guard. He threw a punch at his head, knocking the villain off balance for a second. He looked back at the duo, who were more in shock at his actions.
"Don't just stand there! Go!" He waved them off as the villain rushed forwards. He managed to stop him and the two were interlocked in a pushing match.
"We can fight for ourselves!" Jirou said. Kaminari started to dig his feet into the ground for leverage.
"Do you want to fight this guy? Risk the chance of dying?" He asked. The girls looked at each other and nodded before running off. Kaminari returned his attention to the man in front of him as he sneered.
"My, my my. How heroic." He chuckled as he insulted him. Kaminari smirked in response.
"Of course, why not?" He replied. The villain sighed and Kaminari knew he was screwed. The villain leaned back and placed his foot on Kaminari's chest. He watched as the villain charged electricity to his kick and pushed Kaminari off with tremendous force. He stood up and watched as the villain rose his hands as his quirk encased it.
"Now, I'm sorry but I'll have to get this over with. Which means you need to leave." Kaminari gulped as the meaning of the threat wasn't lost to him. He watched as the electricity became more intense and he began to panic.
This alien has to have an ability. He has to do something. He looked at his antennae and saw the plug.
'Ok.. this has to do something with his powers. What does a plug do? You plug it in and it… draws in electricity… That's it!' He smirked as he crossed his arms. His antennae both pointed towards the man as he fired two bolts of electricity. As they connected, the plugs began to absorb the attacks making them smaller and fade. A rush of power shivered down his spine as he finished taking all the electricity in. He looked at the sockets on his fingers as they glowed with blue electricity.
"Hey buddy! How about I give you a little FEEDBACK!" He brought his hands back as the air began to hum from the energy and he threw his hands forwards, throwing a combined beam of energy square into the chest of the villain, sending him flying back into the wall. He looked at his hands as they still danced with electricity.
"Man! Why didn't I try this guy out earlier! This guy rules!" He looked at the villain as he made a desperate sprint to attack Kaminari. He smirked and leaned forwards for a sprint, but put his hands behind him. He expelled electricity and it rocketed him forwards. The villain stopped in his tracks in defense but Kaminari was moving too fast for him to avoid it. He fist back and punched the villain once more, this time phasing him more due to the electricity. The villain was dazed as Kaminari initiated a slug fest. One after another, Kaminari threw electric-enhanced punches and pushed the villain back, who was unable to fight back.
'Man, this guy sure fired everything he had at me.' The villain was slumped up against the wall, too weak to fight back any more.
He clapped his hands together at his job and looked towards the northern portion of the building.
Well, he better get with his class before anyone begins to ask where he went. Probably going to have to use an excuse that he hid in fear. Great. At least this time it wouldn't have him wade through feces.
