Dreams and Deceit

Chapter 5

Kagome wore her hair in a single braid. She had on a black body suit with black boots. She wore a breast plate armor and strapped her bow on her back. She made her way to the study to find not only her husband but his two sisters dressed to fight.

Just then her head had an intense pain and she saw images flew by of her fighting with bow and arrow in a short dress. Her hair flew violently around her as she had a pink glow around her.

Kagewaki was by her side "those are memories of you fighting, my shikon miko." looking lustfully at her with his red eyes as he pulled her along outside.

Looking in shock, she turned to Kagura and Kanna as their eyes were red as well. They followed behind quietly until they reached an open field below the mansion. There were two other figures she did not recognize.

A large horned ogre and a giant man with no face. They startled her that she held on for dear life to her husband.

"There is no need to be scared my dear. This is Goshinki and Muso, two more of my faithful servants." His eyes glowed red and a glow of blackness surrounded him.

The two servants and his two sisters knee down to their master awaiting his orders.

"I don't understand what's going on, Kagewaki. Who are these people and what are you?" as she tried to pull away.

Holding on tighter to her "Kagome I am your worst enemy and nightmare but you are now bound to me as my wife...and mate." Brushing her bangs away and running his finger down the side of her neck touching a raised mark that filled with heat.

Her eyes grew in horror as she touched the mark and it shocked her. She dropped to her knees and her real memories flooded back. Inuyasha was the man she loved not this one before her. Tears flowed from her eyes as she looked up to his smirking face.

"I'll never be yours, Naraku!"

As the pack arrived at the end of the field, they saw Naruku and his incarnations along with Kagome on her knees in front of him.

Inuyasha anger rose and was about to charge in blinded until he smelt the air. Kagome's scent changed! She no longer had the pure smell of blossoms but it was tainted with blood.

Inuyasha stepped back and his pack turned to him.

"What's wrong? Sango asked "is Kagome alright?"

A tear ran from his eye "yes she is but...she's not pure anymore."

Sango and Shippo watched each other confused but Miroku knew exactly what he meant.

Walking over to his best friend, he placed a hand on his shoulder "it's alright Inuyasha. We're gonna get her back. He deceived her as he did with all of us. It's not her fault."

Bringing himself back to normal "you're right. Let's get her back and those jewel shards."

"I am glad you remembered everything my darling wife." He laughed menacingly. "You are bound to me for eternity. Soon you will give me an heir! I just wanted you to say your final goodbyes to your friends. See I'm not that evil." as he pulled her up and kissed her.

Disgusted, she slapped him. "I will never give into you! I'd rather die than be with you for eternity."

Feeling anger from her words, he slapped her back "you have no choice. That spider mark will forever remain."

He grabbed her hand and leaped closer to the pack followed by his incarnations. He drew his sword and spoke "welcome to our home, Inuyasha. My wife and I would extend the hospitality but we have other things to do like producing my heir. Let's finish this now shall we." as he rose his hand signaling his incarnations to attack while he forcefully held on to Kagome.

Kagome watched Inuyasha and the others with their hurt expressions. "I'm sorry I didn't know what he did! He tricked me and poisoned me!" she yelled.

Breaking away from his grasp, she knocked an arrow and pointed it at him. The spider hanyou laughed menacingly "you can try as much as you want but you will never hurt me as it is part of the mating. Only if you or I die, then it can break."

Trying to release her arrow, her arms redirected her toward her pack and shot narrowly missing Inuyasha. Looking at the arrow at his feet, he saw her crying and on her knees. He knew she was being controlled. Seeing as much can't be done at the moment, he called out the others to escape as Shippo threw his fox fire as a distraction for getaway.

As his incarnations was about to follow "leave them. They will be back soon. Until then, my wife let us go into our chambers." Pulling her into his arms and flying off leaving his incarnations behind.

"Kanna, I don't like this. What can we do?"

"Follow orders. Let us go back." as she walked away silently followed by Goshinki and Muso.

Kagura started feeling bad for Kagome as she had started becoming closer to her. She was the actual first friend she had.

Kagome sat locked away in her room. She thought back to what happened when she finally remembered how she got there.

Her pack was fighting some demons in the forest when the area was filled with miasma. She got a hard hit to her head and remembers seeing a figure in baboon pelt carrying her away then it all turned to darkness awakening in the same room.

"It was a trap to get me away from everyone! How could I have been so stupid since Inuyasha said stay besides him but I ran off thinking I saw Naraku but was a puppet. This is my fault!" as tears slipped from her eyes.

"There must be away to break it." Looking at her reflection in the vanity mirror. She noticed the red imprinted spider on her collar bone. When she touched it it was hot. She recalled seeing the same one on Naruku's neck. "So he did mate me."

Sitting by the nearby camp they all looked sad at the revelations. Inuyasha was in the tree above when his brother arrived. He jumped down from his spot on the tree "what ya doing here bastard! I'm not in the mood to fight you!" He spat.

"This one smelled the spider hanyou and came here." as he looked at he pack "where is the miko?"

Shippo began to cry then Sango cried as well. Miroku moved between them as he consoled them. "She was kidnapped and deceived by Naraku. He made her his mate."

"They cannot mate unless it is mutual. Did she betray you Inuyasha?" his brother spoke.

"No she would never do that! He poisoned her and used mind control."

Looking at her the sad group "if that is the case, it can be broken. The mating."

"How can it be possible?" Sango asked. "I've never learned of it in my studies."

"The miko was tricked so it is not valid. Naraku needs to be killed for it to remove...or she needs to die." as he leaned against the tree.

"No we can't let her die! There must be another way!" Shippo cried out.

"Wait a minute! I think I might have an answer!" Sango jumped up from Miroku grasp. "If she does die, can you bring her back to life with Tensaiga, my lord? It should void out the mating because she died!"

"It can work but not a guarantee." He responded then walked back in the direction he came.

"Hey where ya' going?" Inuyasha shouted.

"This one needs to observe the situation and will return." as he disappears.

"Inuyasha, we have to try somehow. Kagome wouldn't want us to give up." Shippo bounced on his shoulder.

"I don't agree with her dying but I will have faith." As he ruffled the kitsune hair.

"Let's go over some details in the meantime." Miroku added more wood to the fireplace as the blazed glowed back to life.

The door opened to reveal Kagura with a tray of food and tea. She placed it on the table by the window. "You need to eat and get ready for his conjugal visit."

"I'm not doing anything. I'd rather starve and be beaten than to lay with him again."

"Just do as he says Kagome. I'd hate to see you hurt."

"I'm already hurt when you were part of this deceit and his plan!"

Kagura walked over to her sitting on the loveseat by the fireplace, she bent closely and spoke softly "drink the tea so you won't conceive. It has that special root in it. He would make you drink the sake again as it has an aphrodisiac. That I can't do anything about it." as she walked away with sadness.

Kagome walked over and poured the tea. She smelled it and there was traces of that special root "she's right. Is she trying to help in her own way?" as she drank it.

Kanna was waiting by the door for Kagura "did you tell her?"

Nodding yes they both walked away sadly.

Not too long after Naraku came into Kagome room with a silk purple robe on. He sat next to her by the fire. "Pour some sake for us." He ordered.

With a look of disgust, she did as he commanded. She was told to drink it. In the back of her mind, at least I won't produce a child with him."

In a matter of minutes, her body started to heat up and she couldn't control it as she allowed him to take her.

He whispered "we shall keep doing this until I get my heir." as he laughed.

Kagome cried as she felt pleasure but pain at the same time. She had to find a way out of this and soon.
