December 25th 2014 – Dr. Roberta Carter's hospital
Timmy and Jackie were now in the dining hall with Roberta and the sailors under their command when a green uniform-wearing sailor entered along a high ranking officer who then told that he – Nolan and their men would go aboard the USS Bastogne (CG-79) – which wasn't far from there – as reinforcements before being transported to the USS Lexington – which was too big for a Costa Rican port – for routine missions. The two officers then replied they would go on the said mission before the Admiral departed.
Meanwhile in Philadelphia suburbs. The Mitchell family's home was still a mess after Christmas Eve. The tree was lighting – which was on purpose as Karen Mitchell – a forty-something-year old woman – lit them for her two children – especially Gray – 12 years old – who still liked Christmas.
On TV – after an advert about Jurassic World – there was an interview. « Ladies and Gentlemen – please welcome Drs. Alan Grant and Ian Malcolm. », « Morning Jerry. », « Morning Jerry. », « So Doctors – why do you – as well as Sarah Harding, and Lex Murphy and your other friends – declare that Jurassic World has an announced downfall ? », « Because, Malcolm started, there are lots of factors that are to be taken care of – for example – a traitor, or a badly designed circuit, or a mistake of gender control of the animals. The system of a park is way too complicated to be controlled and will collapse in a chaotic way. ».
« Not to mention that cloning amusement park monsters is a mistake, Grant said. Because San Diego Incident in 1997 proved that two species seperated by 65 million years of evolution couldn't live peacefully together. But it was only one individual. The sibblings then rushed to the stockings and pulled enveloppes. As they opened them – they couldn't believe it : it was airline tickets to San Jose. The two of them were glad to go meet their aunt at Isla Nublar.
