Part 5 - More Surprises at the Funeral Service
Soon after that the funeral was over with, they were all lead to the house of the Spears' family, to eat, drink and talk, and the Cullen's came too with them all, despite the air felt constricted and very hot around them, as they knew somehow they weren't really welcomed to it, and same was felt for the two Black's who also came despite their pathectic tries to get Charlie to be buried back in Forks, but they clearly didnt know what himself had wanted, that did Bella and her new family that she married into years ago, as Eddie's family knew her parents very well as they saw each other as best friends afterall, and they also had talked about what they wanted to happen if they were killed of in either like they were or in a tragic accident, they wanted to be buried next to the plot of the Spears' family in South Dakota, and they had also told Bella this few years ago when her mother had a cancer scare, which turned out to be a beign cyst in her left breast, but to keep a close eye on it despite that diagnosis.
Charlie wanted to be buried there, for he felt more at home in South Dakota then back in his birth home and state of living, for he felt when he was here, it was like coming home for him. Phil wanted to be wherever Renée ended up to be buried, as he loved his wife alot, so his wish was granted without a question as he had no living relatives left in this world, and Charlie and Renée only had Bella as she was their only child and daugther, so Bella was more than happy to let them have their wishes too. The Black's would have to accept it now that it had happened and they were home and buried in South Dakota with the others of the Spears' family around them at their own plot.
Michael and Matthew with Clay and Ryan was the one at the doors of Eddie and Bella's beautiful home, to welcome everyone into the house, as they were serving tea/coffee/water or sodas to drink to a cake, that was gluten, lactosefree so anyone who is allergic would be able to eat it aswell. Bella and Eddie thanked the boys of their help of this, as Bella went to the kitchen with Lesley and Mary to bring out the stuff for their guests, while Eddie went with his father out in the garden to start up the grill, for a barbeque food and talk freely to each other about what had happened just before the funeral had begun and his father gave him (and Bella) the advise to show who is the better one and not let them drag anything or anyone down in a spiral and also to let them know who is in charge here, and whose wishes it was to have them buried here instead back in Forks or Florida where Renée and Phil lived before they came to Forks to visit both Charlie and Bella, as they had missed Bella alot and wanted to see her.
Patrick, his father also told him how proud both he and Mary his mother was over the two how they had handle it so far, and that they had no issues to step in and help if necessary, and Eddie was thankful for those words, as he needed to hear them, as his dad was always so wise and good with his words to anything they needed from him, weither it was a life decision to just a question they had for something they wondered about. Eddie looked into the house where his wife, Bella was working in the kitchen to keep her thoughts straight and not on what happened, and as if she knew he was looking at her, she looked up at him and gave him a soft smile which he returned to her, as his dad just smiled at the two, seeing their bond was that strong for each other.
Meanwhile, the guests came into the house, greeting the Spears' brothers with warmth and nice manners, soon the Cullens were here too, despite they weren't really welcomed in or to this, they had to let them go in and be around them for a little while for now. The two Black's were also welcomed in with some backlash of emotions, but neither of the two said anything of yet. Eddie came in and carrying a tray full of the different meats from beef to chicken, aswell some grilled veggies, while Bella and Lesley placed the potatoes and pasta salads on the same table, and Patrick came in after Eddie with another full tray of meats and placed it on the table, then Eddie and Bella shared a look, then Eddie said loudly after he gave alittle whistle to get everyone's attention;
"Welcome to our home everyone, now there is food for everyone, there is also vegatarian food for those who are vegan and vegetarians, so no worries on that. And also thank you for coming to this funeral of my wife Bella's parents and step-father, as they would love to have you all here and remembering them who they were for you all in the time you got to know them. Now lets eat shall we?"
Bella gave him a soft kiss of thanks, as they all went to stand in line for the food, while Mary and Lesley were going to serve out the food on the paperplates, while Patrick and Patrick Jr were pouring up the guests' chosen beverages of choices. Children who was also here, got to chose between alot of different sodas and fruity drinks, so they would be quite happy at least.
Eddie just held her while the two decided to get their own food when guests had taken theirs and sat down out in the garden and living room. Jacob kept staring at the two, while he was helped to pile his food up on his plate, while Alice was bouncing again on her feet, wanting to talk to Bella, but it seems that Bella didnt want that nor talk to anyone of the Cullens or the two Black's at least for now. Carlisle and Esme refused to look at anyone than Bella, who didnt seem to take notice nor look back at the two at all.
After all had gotten their foods, and Bella and Eddie sat down next to each other with their own food too, his father stood up and said
"First before we eat, I want to thank our priest who did this pretty much in last minute as it all was very unexpected and sudden for us all, so thank you so much for that. And also to one of my sons and his group of friends who in last minute aswell set aside any plans to sing and do music for the funeral, it was very beautiful song you chose to do for the parents' of Bella, my daugther-in-law. Bella is very grateful for you all to come and be here too."
Bella stood up and gave her father-in-law a tight hug of her own and kiss on his cheek, as she then turned and said
"Now you can eat, and thank you again." She then went back to Eddie's side, ignoring Alice's frantic look and wave to come to them and sit with them, and sat down to her husband, while Alice slumped down abit in her seat, frowning that Bella ignored her. Jacob kept looking at her with longing looks, that she and Eddie both ignored for now. Rosalie and Emmett looked very uncomfortable here and not really wanting to be there in first place but was forced by the others of the family to come with them. Carlisle and Esme both sat quietly eating their food, while not speaking to anyone around them, and those around ignored them aswell so no worries there for now.
The priest after eating his food, stood up and said
"First thank you for the great food I got served today, and secondly, I am very sorry for your loss, Isabella, your parents including Phil were very close to our church and community despite how far they all lived from here, they still wished for their funeral and gravesites to be here in South Dakota, as I remember vaguely that your father, Charlie, told me that he felt at more home here than back in Forks his birth home and living area. And thirdly, I will leave you a gift in few days as it is a tradition to gift one to a grieving family member so they know they are always welcome back to the church when they are ready to join us in sermons and be part of the family that we see each other in my church house."
At that Bella stood and shook his hand, as she said softly to him
"Thank you for all work and kindness aswell how early on you could get this to become true for it was my parents' and Phil's own wishes to be buried here. And yes, dad did tell you that he wanted to be buried here too, as he did so back when the cancer scare that mom had a year ago, when it was thought she had breastcancer, thankfully it wasnt that but a beign cyst, but she still worried you know and that was the time both she and Phil also told me of their own wishes to be buried here, as neither had anyone else in family wise than myself, just like my dad had only me too."
Many were shocked of her words of what her mother had gone through last year, while Eddie stood up too and shook the priest's hand in his, then the priest left the house and both Bella and Eddie both sat down again and ate some more, while the two boys of Michael's came to Bella's side, asked
"Auntie B, can we get into the pool and play with our cousins and other children that came here today?" At that they both smiled, while others (the Black's and Cullen's looked shocked of what the boy called their Bella.) stared at her, and she said
"Of course you can, but keep a good eye on those who can't swin just yet, OK? If you need us, just shout ok?" At that he hugged her gently and nodded his head eagerly then the children went out to their pool and went into it where they could be safe so. Eddie just smiled after them, so did Bella. Michael was just happy to hear that they asked at least before not that he minded them doing so without asking permission but today he felt proud of his sons for asking before they did so at least.
After a while of eating their foods, Bella sat leaning back into her chair and rubbing her belly lovingly, as Eddie turned to her said
"You Ok, baby?" At that she just smiled said
"I am ok, just so full of the food, but the babies loves it at least, with the somersaults they are doing right now." He chuckled and rubbed her belly too, and the two had smiles on their faces, as their family just smiled at the two, as they had gotten to feel the babies to move earlier that day. Michael's boys were exicting for their aunt and uncle's first babies too, and were happy to feel her belly weither the babies were kicking or not, they just loved to touch it, and Bella had no issues of them doing so, as she let them do it for it seems to make the two happy for the moment and they also sometimes talk to her belly which always tugged at her heartstrings of her own love for the two boys, whom both she and Eddie were superclose to, as they lived nearby each other.
The boys often came after school to their home instead going to an empty home of their dad's and wait for him there instead of home, which Michael had no issues either with as he knew how much they loved their aunt and uncle afterall.
After a while of sitting around and talking to each other, most guests had left by now with their kids, so it was just the family of Eddie's, the Cullens and the two Black's left in the house now, and the tension was rising again too. Bella excused herself and went out to the boys that was only left in the pool and get them out of it and get them back in the house to shower and warm up abit, and the two went straight to the showers and Bella came back to Eddie's side and sat down, he wrapped an arm around her waist, while she still ignored the remaining guests for little more, while the boys came out in new clothes and sat down next to Bella and Michael who sat next to each other on the couches.
After a while, Alice had enough of being ignored and huffed out
"Why dont you talk to us, Bella?" Bella just looked at her, while the others looked between the two with some apphrension, and she said
"For I dont have any to say or talk to you anymore, Alice, your brother did this to my parents' and he will be served with right sentence for his crime towards my parents and myself, and frankly you all being here has been hard on me, to see my parents' murderer and almost rapist of mine's family here, just it is too hard to be around the two Black's that came to try to get Charlie back to Forks to be buried when neither knew what HE wanted for his funeral, which was to be here and be buried here. I have nothing to say to either of you more than I kindly want to take your things and leave for good from our house and this area. Thank for at least showing up despite how much guilt or whatever you are feeling for the moment, but we will see each other in few weeks at the trial when Edward will be sentenced for his crimes, and hopefully he gets life without parole and restraining order to NEVER contact me ever again, as he now belong to my past and there he will be for rest of my life, no more will I think of him nor give him anything of my life anymore, as he is not anything to me anymore."
Most sat in shock of her words not being minced of anything she said, Eddie held her hand in his, which made her feel his love and support through silence as he knew she was strong enough to stand up and tell her mind on the matter. The two Black's sat back while the Cullens had no choices to stand up and leave the house, when Bella saw they were not leaving with them, she turned to the two, said in irritated tone;
"It meant you two aswell, as you came here to try to put a stop to it, but you never succeded in it, and also, Jacob, you can stop your pathectic staring of longing looks at me, as you now know it is too late, nor did I ever want to be with you before Eddie came into my life, as you are too young for me. I never loved you in that way, not ever. So you need to fucking move on and grow the hell up. Billy you are not my father or anything else, you might been Charlie's friend, but you are not my friend or father, and never will be either, so kindly take your behind and get out of here now."
Eddie, his parents and his siblings were proud of her words towards the two, who had no choice then to leave the house and they also left in their cars, and as soon they were gone too, they all could relax for rest of the evening.
