After making an allience with Rin and her Servant EMIYA, both Masters approach Ryudou Temple with the mission of defeating Caster, but things quickly take a turn for the worse as a new threat slowly rises.

"Hey Ritsuka, are you ready?" - Rin asked him as they prepared for their mission.

"All set Tohsaka, we're just waiting for you and Archer" - Ritsuka answered while he and Salter rested in the couch - "Is everything done?" -

"Yes, we'll move out now" -

Both Masters came out and started to head straight for Ryudou Temple, all while Ritsuka questioned Rin about other Masters. He wanted to know how much did she knew about the other participants of the Grail War.

"Aside from Saber's Master, are there any other that you know?" -

"One of them, Berserker's Master, Illyasviel von Einzbern. She attacked me and Shirou yesterday at night" -

"Illyasviel... Weird name" -

"Yes, and it's not the only weird thing about her" -

Ritsuka remember who she was from the information Da Vinci and Holmes gave him. She's a girl with white hair and red eyes, with a rather peculiar attitude, and she had Heracles as her Servant.

"Let's hope we don't run into her tonight, that might be troublesome" -

"Agreed. Hey, Archer" - Rin called for his Servant to show up behind her.

"Yes, my Master?" -

"Take position outside of Ryudou and wait to launch a surprise attack, we'll hit Caster from both sides" -

"I wouldn't advise that, she's going to sense my presence with ease and would ruin any chance of a surpirse attack working for us" -

"He has a point Rin, detecting other Servants it's kinda like the Caster's thing" -

"He's not going to attack from close range. As soon as I give him the signal, he will shoot a rain of arrows towards Caster and then your Servants will attack while she's distracted and take her out" -

"It would be better if you keep Archer close in case anything happens, what if she creates a shield around the Temple and his arrows can't go pass it?" -

"You... Do make a pretty good point. Fine, Archer will stay by our side" -

"Thanks. We'll end this as fast as we can and then we'll go back home and get some rest" -

"Yeah, then we... Did you just said 'home'?" -

"Oh, sorry, must have slipped" -

"Understand that just because we're working together for the moment doesn't mean you can get all comfy around me" -

"I said sorry. Jeez, calm down for a bit Tohsaka, it was an honest mistake and..." -

"Shush, we're here" -

They, in the middle of their conversation, arrived at the stairs leading to Ryudou Temple. This was it, their mission was a go.

Going up the stairs, Da Vinci wanred Ritsuka of a presence in front of the entrance, Assassin.

"So, he's here... Kojiro, been a while since we faced you as an enemy" - Ritsuka whispered for himself while remembering the events of Shimousa, where Musashi and that world's Kojirou battled one last time before the Singularity collasped - "I miss you Musashi..." -

"Ritsuka, is everything ok?" -

"Yeah, I was just thinking something" - Ritsuka quickly returned to the real world.

"We're going to get there soon and... Who's that?" - Rin said, looking at Assassin, standing guard at the Temple's gate.

"Sorry, but the Temple is ou of bounds for the moment" - he said while mantaining his sword - "Turn around" -

"Archer" -

Rin's Servant quickly jumped against Assassin, with a powerful strike that he was barely able to block.

"Ritsuka, run to the Temple, I'll hold him!" -

"Alright, good luck!" -

Ritsuka ran straight to the Temple while Archer kept Assassin bussy. Inside, Salter and Rider appeared behind him and faced off against Caster, who seemed to be waiting for them.

"Nice to meet you young boy" - she said while walking to them - "You seem to be quite new to the city" -

"Aha, and you seem to be quite a pain to this city" - he said immediatly - *Medea... This will be tough*" - he thought.

"My oh my, that's agressive for someone who you just met, you make me sad" -

"I know that you've been taking the life force from innocents in the city to power up whataever you have going on in here, and I can't allow it to go any further" -

"You can't? Are you planning to kill me?" -

"If we need to kill you, then we'll come for you before you know what hit you" -

"With all the mana that I have stored here, you won't be capable of doing anything, I just hope you know it" -

"I don't care if you drain the mana of the city or the entire continent, we'll take you down one way or another" -

"You're brave boy, but yhat bravery is going to get you killed" -

"Master, this is enough. Let's fight here at once" -

"I think you're right. Ater, Rider, go at her" -

Both Servants jumped at Caster, who avoided the attack by flying before blasting both of them with powerful magic.

"We're no going to win as long as she's flying, get her down from there!" -

As ordered by their Master, both Salter and Medusa tried to make Medea fall, but none were succesful as she simply dodged the attacks. As long as she was in the sky, there was no chance of them taking her down.

"Dammit, if only I had the Battle Mystic Code" - Ritsuka cursed himself. With that Mystic Code, he could use Gandr, and it would've made the fight a lot easier.

"You sounded so confident a few seconds ago Master" - Medea said in a mocking manner - "Where did that went?" -

Medea was about to launch more magic spells but she was interrupted by the sound of growling.

"What?" -

"Ritsuka Kun, look out! Shadow Servants detected close to your location, they're approaching quickly!" - Da Vinci screamed.

From over the top of Ryudou Temple, 3 Shadow Servants appeared: Shadow Diarmuid, Shadow Iskandar and Shadow Lancelot.

"Like this could get any worse for us" - Ritsuka said as the Shadows jumped against him, his Servants and Medea.
