As I walk into Makino's bar I find it mostly empty. Sitting at a stool Makino approaches me. "Can I get you anything sir." Giving me a puzzled look.
Laughing at her. "How about a hug Aunt Makino? That is if you want me to call you that. I guess mom never officially set that up." Scratching my head. She gasps then looks at me now that I am 5 ft 10 in tall. I have muscles that look like I have been chopping wood or lifting weights my whole life. Short black messy hair. A blue t-shirt, red vest, blue jean Shorts, and no shoes. "It is my birthday by the way." Smiling at her.
"Luffy!" Makino said, running around the bar jumping in my arms. "I can't believe you are finally here. Hey everyone it's Luffy." As the people cheer they have a birthday meal but just early brunch don't want to stay too long. When Curly Dadan and the bandits show up I give her a hug telling her I missed them. As we leave the bar I go to the harbor and by a small fishing boat with a cabin
As we are gathered at the docks I set sail. 200 ft out the sea-king rose out of the water. Giving me a hungry look. Drawing Undertow I glare back knowing sea-kings can feel my grandfather's power in the sword. Taping the side of the blade against my leg I ask him. "You can leave alive, or Makino will be serving sea-king at her bar. You're call." Glaring at him without haki. 'Come on do the smart thing. I am in a good mood and don't want to kill the first 5 minutes I set sail.' As if he heard me it turned and swam away as fast as it could. Turning back I see half of them fainted.
"Shishishi. I will miss all of you." Waving again.
A few hours later I avoided a whirlpool. Pulling out a shirt from my pouch I have kept for 9 years. Taking a smell again I put it back away. I know I smelled it before landing and knew Nami was at sea and not in Cocoyashi village. However it still warms my heart that she gave it to me before I left her island. Laughing at the thought she wore the same workout shirt the whole 4 days mom was there. Without washing it every time we ran just to make sure the scent would never leave it.
Knowing she is on a cruise ship less than a mile away. I directed the boat towards the location. After a while I pulled alongside and asked to come aboard to eat. Dressing in khaki pants, white button up shirt opened a few buttons down, leather shoes, and belt. As I walk on deck I tip the sailor 50 beli. "Can you direct me to the dining hall?" As he pointed the way I walked towards it. As I entered I found the matradey and tipped him a hundred beli for a good table. When I set down I see Nami staring from an empty table she gets up.
As she walked over I see her sway her hips a little. She is 5 ft 6 in tall and has a very slim body. Tone and firm with an orange extremely short skirt tight t-shirt with dark blue stripes. And what I think are a full b-cup almost c-cup breasts. It is all I can do to keep from getting a raging hard on. Though I do feel myself get firm.
Clearing her throat Nami asked. "Well hello is this seat taken?"
Smiling back, I wonder if she recognized me. "It wasn't before. However I would enjoy your company. Miss?"
Holding out her hand. "Nami. And you are?"
Smiling back at her I shake her hand. Making a point to ogle her long legs. "Someone who's wondering why a beautiful woman is all alone out at sea."
As she squinted at me and sat down with her legs to the side she replied. "I could ask the same thing of you. Do you have a special someone, or are you looking?"
Snickering because she would recognize me laughing. "Oh I have a special someone or should I say someones. I have my eyes on." Giving her a once over again. 'She doesn't know. This could be fun.' As I can hear her grind her teeth I continue. "They are very special to me. They even know one another." She is breathing hard even without haki. Her body language tells me she wanted to kick me between the legs hard. "One even asked me a question the last time I saw the two of them. Then they spoke In unison." Smiling at her I see her get a confused look. "I remember it like it was yesterday. The statement was. (We will wait for you Luffy. Please come back to us.)"
Nami's face goes from shock to ecstatic in no time flat. "Luffy!" Jumping up she ran around the table, jumping onto my lap straddling me and planted a kiss on the mouth. I get a boner instantly. As Nami brakes for air she said. "I started to think I would never see you again." Pressing harder against me.
Looking at her I questioned. "So is that why you were trying to pick me up?"
As her heart rate increases I see her getting scared. "I was just trying to swindle you. I mean him. I mean. I swear I wasn't trying to do anything sextualy with you. I mean." As she gets more worried I start rubbing her shoulders.
"It's ok. I can't smell any mail scent on you and I know from being around Shanks crew it lasts for a couple of weeks even with showering. So I am hopeful. You haven't been with someone have you?" Watching her viciously shake her head no to scared to answer. "I believe you were trying to swindle me. Why I don't know." As she viciously shakes her head yes.
Just then the door busted open and at least 12 rough looking people enter. "All right get out all your valuables and you will not get hurt!"
I turn Nami's head back towards me. "Is something wrong? Why are you stealing? I mean I don't object the action, but it doesn't suit you from before." As Nami keeps diverting her eyes to the Pirates then me.
One of them comes up to me. "I told you to get out your valuables." Pointing his sword at me.
Picking Nami up by her sides I sit her down opposite where the pirate is. Then stand up. "I am having a conversation here if you let me finish my discussion you might walk out of here." After hearing this three more pirates walk up while the others keep hassling other guests.
Seeing one move towards Nami I react. Spinning around I drew Undertow stabbing clean through the shoulder that reached for Nami coming a little out the back. Spinning again I slice towards two charging pirates. As they both go to block my sword with their own Undertow goes clean through the two swords and cutting into the pirates chests. Though not enough to kill. Looking at the pirate that was talking to me first as the others are on the deck screaming. I tell him. "You should have let me finish talking to her uninterrupted." As he runs for the door I jump. Swiping Undertow at his lower calf muscles right as the legs are passing one another I cut them both halfway up his lower leg at the same time. As he falls to the ground and rolls over I tell him. "I didn't make the damage permanent but you will not be walking any time soon." Looking at the remaining pirates I ask. "Anybody else!" As the rest run out the door grabbing the pirates I have wounded. I look at Nami. Watching her smile.
Nami said. "A Fishman came and took over the islands right after you left. If your mother had not helped Bell-mère it would be worse. She kept our family safe. Arlong that's his name. Saw a drawing I did and forced me to make maps for him."
"Who dared to hurt my men?!!" A voice called out.
Sighing, I look at Nami. "I will take care of this then we'll talk later." As she smiled and nodded we walked outside.
Outside we see a large group of pirates, and a huge fat round. woman? With a huge metal mace 4 ft long 8 in around. "Did you hurt my men handsome?"
"Yes. They interrupted a conversation I was having with this beautiful woman here." Pointing at Nami.
She laughed. "Hahahaha. Beautiful. Koby, who's the most beautiful woman in the East blue?"
A boy comes out wearing glasses. "You Alvida!" As she smiled.
I look at Koby then Alvida then Koby. I wiggle my finger to the boy asking him to come over. After looking at Alvida and her nodding he walked up to me. I ask at Koby loudly. "When is the last time you had your eyes checked?" As gasps and snickering is hurd. Nami is barely holding it in. I see a tick mark on Alvida. Pulling off his glasses putting them on I look at Alvida then Nami then Alvida. "Nope I still can't see Alvida as the most beautiful. Not going to believe it." Taking off the glasses handing them back to Koby.
Alvida loses it and screamed. Razing her club she attacked me. At blinding speed I drew Undertow and parried her attack then started attacking so fast she could barely keep up. sometimes spinning around like a top with the same swing twice sometimes zigzag patterns. All the while forcing her back. Finally I stopped as she was staggering back she looked behind me on the floor were a lot of metal circle disks an inch to two inches thick almost perfectly even. They were 8 in diameter the farther away from us then getting smaller closer to us. As Alvida looked down at her mace she sees it is just about a foot long. During the whole battle I never put on my armor. Now I dropped the mist revealing my face uncovered and my armor covering my body for the first time. As I do everyone gasps and start shaking in fear. I sheath Undertow walking up to Alvida who dropped what was left of her club.
As I get closer I talk quite enough just for Alvida to hear. "I don't like to kill without a reason. Enslaving Koby is a pretty good reason." Watching Alvida go pail. "However with haki I can feel your pain and i see you remembering your past. They shouldn't have treated you as such. Because I am in a good mood seeing one of my girls again, and your past I will give you ONE pass. However if I ever hear of you in slaving people again I WILL hunt you down and end you." Drowning back I hit her so hard in the gut she flew off into the sky.
Turning to the rest of Alvida's crew I tell them. "You have two options. One you can leave this ship's treasure and run. Two I sink your ship and start killing all of you for the added trouble." Looking them over I say. "Your call." As I said, they rushed onto Alvida's ship and started untying the two ships.
Nami comes up to me. "You certainly have changed."
Turning to her I whisper. "There is a marine ship very close. If we don't hurry we will get caught in another battle."
Nami getting a sly look. "So there is a distraction while we get away." Watching me nod.
Looking at Koby. "Hey Koby if you want I can carry you to a town. Or you can stay here and get arrested. I doubt the marines will believe you're innocent.
As all three of us were jumping onto my boat I unhooked the ropes and took off.
Once we are far enough away I ask Nami. "So if Arlong is forcing you to make maps how are you here?" As she looked at Koby then me. I glare at Koby. "Don't worry I am sure he would not repeat what you say to anyone. Right?" Watching him nod. Looking at Nami.
Looking down, Nami continues. "A few weeks after being imprisoned and you leaving I got depressed. Mainly your leaving. He thought that I needed incentive so he made a deal to buy back our village for 100,000,000 beli. Hahahaha. Like I would fall for that. Bell-mère can't leave but Nojiko and I take turns leaving the island and robbing people. We both have tattoos of Arlong's mark but you can heal that right?" Looking up at me with a pleading look. As I smile and nod she continues. "We secretly give to other townspeople to help them get by. Or pay greater cost for things. We are waiting for you to come back and take care of him. Nojiko and I have been keeping up with any news on you, and aren't worried as to if you will win."
"Later today you and I will take a swim and get rid of that tattoo. However I have a surprise for you. Or rather I am the delivery messenger for someone with a surprise. My mother told me some other gods have had children in this world other than her. Well I believe one is your father." As she gets more worried I continue. "Hey relax. No matter what I will always stand by your side." As she got worried she reached into my side .
\[Nami's POV\]
Hello I am Notos God of the South wind. Because the doorway is closed this is not a two way conversation. I have provided a few answers to some questions you may ask but not all.
I want to say how sorry I am. I was away when the battle happened. When I returned a month later I looked for 5 months before I tracked you down. I wanted so bad to hold you but by then Bell-mère was taking care of you and in 5 months I would have to leave for at least 4 years. I couldn't put you through that. So I made a clean break.
"I never forgot about you. Or your mom I loved her very much. She was a little like you at sensing the weather but more grounded in personality." As he smiled at me I smiled back. "I never came back for you because you have a wonderful family." Then his face changed. "When Arlong came I wanted to tear down the walls between the words and end him myself. But our laws would not permit it." Then getting sadder. "Hazel took care of your family a lot better than I did. She is craftier than me."
Then he smiled. "Luffy is a good man. I have watched him grow up. Well since you have an interest in him that is. Also he has remained faithful to you two. Otherwise you would be getting a different message." As he gave me a stern look. "I left two messages. I am glad that the other one is not playing." Clearing his throat and smiling again. "Women have been very interested in Luffy. Unfortunately after he becomes sextualy active that will double because of his musk. That is all I can say on that note. The rest you will have to learn on your own. " Though I can tell you two things about a Griffin's pride. One the only thing more dangerous than a Griffin with one of his mates threatened is a God. And two they always give one or a few more depending on the size of the pride. special treatment."
Smiling and wiggling his eyebrows at me he continued. "Also Aphrodite is the only one who can keep up with that stamina when he gets experienced." As I am now blushing like crazy he continued. After laughing he got serious. "Well enough about your love life. I have a gift for you. Well a few actually." Reaching behind him to pull out two things. One is a belt to hook things to. It will give some protection but will drain your demigod power which is very low at the moment. The more you use your power the higher it will get, along with the stronger your attacks will get. There is also a little mist attached. I couldn't get enough for clothes but it will hide the belt and what is on it.
Then there is a bag of holding that will carry 5 times what will fit in Bell-mère's house if you fill it all the way to the sealing. The mouth stretches to 8 in by 8 in. However if you put one hand in and another palm out. Something bigger will move from hand to hand, Plus no weight. It has a good portion of ambrosia, but use sparingly it will be." Counting on his fingers. "3 years till a resupply."
As I place the belt on and He is almost bouncing on his feet. "I had Hephaestus make you this." Pulling out a round bronze cylinder with engraving on it 8 in long 1 in wide.
I tell him as I take It. "Oh wow dad a stick. You shouldn't have." Rolling my eyes with a frown.
Then he smiled devilishly. "Its name is Clime Atack. Think extend."
As I did it became an 8 ft pole at the ends are little holes. "What the hell?"
He answered. "It is nearly indestructible since it is made from Celestial Bronze. Can extend to 40 ft in length. Either in one direction or both. And most importantly will work like a focusing rod for your demigod power. You can use your power over whether without it but it will drain you more and will be harder to control." Watching me smile he continued. "Wind and lightning will be your strongest abilities. After all I am the god of the south wind comprising mainly of storms."
I look straight at him. "Can I fly?"
As he hung his head low. "I do not know. Without seeing you in person I can't tell what abilities you specifically have. However even if you do it will be a long time probably years before you will be strong enough to try.
I started to frown then smiled at him. "It is a possibility though right?"
He replied "it might be."
"Yaaaahoooo. Thanks dad." Giving him a hug.
He spoke again. "I hope in three years I will get to see you in person. I do miss your mother, and holding you." As he holds me at arms length apart he said. "We have a saying. Run like the wind. Guess that is one of the abilities that was transferred to you. Also remember a happy Griffin makes for a very happy Griffin's mate. " As I feel my face blushing like crazy it ends and I am in front of Luffy. Making me blushing more thinking of all of what my dad implied.
Luffy said. "Are you ok?" You look flushed. "
Looking away I say. "Yes. Dad gave me a bag like yours, a belt similar to your armor but weaker, and a weapon."
Luffy said. "Cool. However, let's practice on land not here." As we both nodded in unison.
I looked at Luffy confused. "How did you know I was a demigod? "
As Luffy smiled he scratched behind his head. "I knew that you were special the first time I took you up. You looked so beautiful up there that I thought you were an angel." As he blushed he kept going. "The big difference was that for the first time I can remember, and even to this day. The wind carried me. Everything was more natural. I lost almost no energy that trip and every trip we took afterwards. You had to be magical." As he looked down in barely a whisper. "It was on that trip I realized I loved you."
I dive at him and give him a big kiss. As we break for air I tell him. "For me it was a huge crush." Watching him get depressed I continue. "Until you took me swimming. After that I knew you would be the only man I ever wanted." As my lips met his I feel a passion in the kiss stronger than before. Hearing someone clearing their throat we stop and turn to Koby.
Koby said. "Is there anything I can do for you ma'am and sir. I can clean the deck or."
Luffy stopped him. "No Koby you are free you don't have to do anything. I need to get some strong people for a crew then we head to Cocoyashi village to free Nojiko and Bell-mère. But I believe you don't want to become a pirate so I will drop you off at the next port. We are heading to a town nearby called Shells town."
Snapping my fingers, everyone looks at me. "I heard a rumour while on the ship. The pirate hunters are in Shells town at the marine base. Why I don't know. Maybe we can get them to join us."
Rubbing his chin Luffy smiled. "I like it, we will ask them to join."
Jumping up Koby exclaimed. "What! Are you nuts they are pirate hunters. As in hunt pirates. You can't ask them to join a pirate crew."
Luffy and I look at each other. Then busted out laughing. Luffy looked at him and said. " Titles are just names we give people. It never hurts to ask the person directly. You never know what a person's real dream is till you ask. "
I spoke up. "Besides, Luffy can be very convincing." Blushing at him.
Luffy turned to Koby. "What is your dream Koby?" As he looked pale luffy edged him on. "Ow come on we won't laugh." Hearing barely audible mumbling but no words. Luffy throwing his head back laughed. "That is a great dream Koby! My grandfather is a high ranking marine. I have nothing against them as a group. Just the corrupt wons, and the world Nobles have to fear me. I try not to hurt the marines who truly want to help others." As Koby's face went from shocked to happy smile he nodded.
Then I remembered how good his hearing was. (Gulp) 'I better watch whatever I say.'
Luffy and I went swimming later where he healed the tattoo. After close to an hour and many kisses and feeling each other later we returned to the boat. Luffy pulled out some food for us. After we eat and are about to rest Luffy gives me a smile and reaches into his pouch. He has three pieces of cake on plates with forks and said. "I was saving the extra one for Nami, but why not let you celebrate being free of Alvida. While we celebrate being together and my birthday."
After eating and laughing some more I cuddle up to Luffy and we get some sleep.
\[Luffy's POV\]
In the morning we wake up. I pulled out three apples and handed two of them to Nami and Koby. "I am not much for apples but I keep a few on me. Sorry it is not a tangerine. I also found out a while ago that I can't eat only meat as much as I want to. I am still human. However one of the people I am picking up is a cook or so I hear from Zeff. So we will have a good diet."
Nami asked me something. "What is the plan. According to rumors I also need to find something while in town." As she gets in a position where Koby can't hear her she whispers. "I want to acquire something."
I smile at her. "I think we can accommodate that while we are here. But first we need to find out some information. The best way is a bar or eating establishment. They usually have good gossip in them." Whispering close to Nami's ear. "Especially with my ears and nobody knowing I am listening." As I pull away Nami gives me a devilish grin.
After we docked I found a vendor. "Can you tell me where a good place to eat is?"
He said. "Yes there is a cafe three blocks up on the right."
"Thanks." As we walk towards it many people are just milling around shopping. As Koby asked. "You think we will find out about the pirate hunters there?" As everyone gasps. I hear whispering. Looking at Koby I tell him. "Way to be subtle Koby." While I am very annoyed I am grateful also. As I hear all the whispers I get a better feeling of the situation. Once at the Cafe we find an empty table sitting down.
The waitress comes up to us. "Can I help you?"
"What is the special of the day?"
She replied. "Beef Stew."
"Good. I will have 5 orders of the special, and whatever they are having."
As Koby's jaw hit the floor Nami giggles then said "I will have one please." Koby also ordered one.
While we were waiting a teenager walked in with two guards. When he sat down I heard him say. "It is such a beautiful day I think I will get my order to go and eat in the courtyard." People heard a sound of something sharp scraping across wood. "In fact make it two specials to go, maybe I can get someone to join me." The sound returns and everyone looks around. Nami places a hand on my right arm which is on the table while my left is under it. As the guards keep talking to themselves at the door waiting for the teenager. The scraping returns even louder. Just before the food is put on the table Koby looks under the table. As he pulled his head back up he was pale as a sheet. As the teenager leaves we start eating and Koby is still staring at me. I tell him. "You really don't want to know what some people say in private. Sometimes it is better not to know what people want to do to others." After hearing this we started to eat.
After eating the waitress came over. "Wow you were really hungry." Staring at me.
"Shishishi. I have a very high metabolism." Glancing at Nami about to bust out laughing. "Is that teen always such a jerk?" As people gasp.
She glared at everyone. "All of you shut up. Where were all of you when his wild dog attacked Rika. Hiding that's where. If Zoro was not here my daughter would be dead. So like I said. Shut up!" All the people present get very interested in their plates. "His name is Helmeppo. He is the son of captain Morgan, the leader of the base. If anyone doesn't pay him the proper respect or do exactly what they say, Morgan will execute them."
Just then the scraping returns louder than ever. Nami placed her hand on my arm and rubbed up and down with a worried look. Taking a deep breath I relax, the scraping stops. As we leave I place 750 beli on the table. Walking past the waitress I tell her. "The tip is for the table."
As she goes to wipe the table down she sees the tip and gets confused. Then when wiping it down she noticed something on the floor. Reaching down and examining the stripes of wood she looked up. When she does she is shocked. The bottom of the table on the left side of where I was sitting is carved nearly clean through to the top in long strips that are over a foot long. "What the hell?" Looking at my back as I walked out the door.
As we are leaving I tell Nami and Koby. "Zoro and Kuina are tied up in the courtyard because of a deal they made with Helmeppo. To survive a month without food or water. They have been there just over a week and those two guards finally rigged the shift schedule so they would have guard duty tonight and are planning on." Looking at Koby. "Having some fun tonight."
Nami noticed this similar look that I gave her in the Nojiko many years ago now directed at Koby. Instantly caught on as to what kind of fun they wanted to have. Grinding her teeth she asked. "You aren't going to let them I hope."
"I will free them before tonight." Then I smelled something odd. "Who makes rice balls with sugar?" Following the trail out of curiosity I noticed it was heading towards a side wall of the courtyard. Just then I see a little girl get thrown over the wall. (Aaaaaaahh). I ran and caught her before she hit the ground. Checking to see she is OK I see her start to cry. "Its OK who did this to you?"
Sniffling she said. "Helmeppo had a guard through me over the wall.. as punishment for trying to feed the prisoners."
Taking a deep breath I look at Koby. "Take this girl back to her mother at the Cafe we ate at while I pay Helmeppo a visit." Looking at Nami Smiling at me. As they entered an alley I grabbed Nami and jumped over the wall landing in the courtyard. Setting Nami down I see Helmeppo sitting in a chair in front of the two eating with the guards behind him. I noticed he appeared to be taking great pleasure in each bite. Taking a deep breath to calm down I started walking up to them.
After 10ft Helmeppo noticed me. "Hey you can't come in here. Leave now before I have my marines shoot you." As the marines started to smile I spoke. "So this is the famous pirate hunters. And you are the great man who captured them." Watching Zoro and Kuina glare at me, the men relaxed. "So what are you going to do with them. Now that you have the scum at your mercy?"
Zoro spoke up. "He is going to let us go per our agreement in 3 more weeks, and let Rika live." Glaring at me.
"HAHAHAHAHA." Helmeppo said. "I can't believe you fell for that. I can do anything I want. Right now I am having so much fun with the two of you at my mercy I will probably continue it until the month is up." I might let the girl live if her mother is nice giving me free food."
Kuina glared at Zoro. "I told you not to trust him, but did you listen? Nooooo. When we get out of this I will kick your ass."
Zoro retorted. "My fault? My fault? Who said we should talk our way out of it. Huh. Huh."
Kuina started back. "Well if you didn't always use swords to settle disputes maybe I wouldn't want to talk my way out sometimes."
"HAHAHAHAHA." Helmeppo said. "God I might have to keep them around just for entertainment." As the two prisoners glare at him.
"I think not." Drawing Inazuma so fast they have no time to think. Which is black with haki. I shoot two black lightning bolts to stun the two marines. (Zap,zap) (Aaaaaaaaaaaa!) Then they just shake constantly with small black lightning occasionally around them.
Helmeppo is shocked. "What did you do to them?!" As he holds his hands up.
"Usually I just stun them. However, I overheard them talking about having their way with miss Kuina tonight during their watch. I used haki to enhance the stun effect. It should last for almost 10 minutes before they are allowed to pass out, if they live that long. Weak people sometimes on rare occasions die of a heart attack, or don't wake up afterwards when I infuse haki with that atack." As everyone looked down at the two shaking on the ground now foaming at the mouth, eyes open. Zoro, Kuina, and Nami smile while Helmeppo looks like a scared rabbit about to bolt. "If you run I will shoot you. The only reason I haven't already shot you is you were going to ask Kuina to have fun to get out of this, instead of just taking her. They were talking when you got food, praying she will turn you down."
As Helmeppo looks at the two tied up it makes him wince, because both look like they wanted to beat him up. Then said. "Wait until my father finds out about what you have done. You will be sorry." Pointing at me.
In a scared tone. "I have heard about your father." As he started to smile I got the most bored face ever. "I am not impressed." Helmeppo's smile faded as Nami, Zoro, and Kuina all snickered. "I hear him on the roof putting up that eyesore. Let's get him down here. I have a complaint I want to file."
Helmeppo quickly said. "I will go get him for you!!!" With a huge smile on his face.
"No. I have a better way to get his attention." Aming Inazuma pointing it at the statue's chest. A lightning bolt comes out and hits the chest. (Kabom) the chest explodes leaving just the legs. As the arms and head fall to the roof we hear. (Noooooo. My statue!) Looking at Helmeppo. "I think I got his attention. How about you?" As I said that he fell on his but in shock I holster my gun.
Zoro, and Kuina are in shock, yelling in unison. "What the hell was that?"
As I looked at them. "Inazuma, witch translates to lightning strike is apresent/ payment for a future job from Zeus."
Kuina spoke first. "Who is Zeus?" As Zoro closed his mouth.
"Where my mother is from he is the leader of all the gods of Olympus. Which is where the gods live."
As they are about to ask something else Nami spoke up. "Luffy, do you mind if I go get something from inside?"
"No dear. If you need anything give me a call." As she kissed me on the cheek I stopped her whispering into her ear. "If you see any swords leave them. Everything else is fair game. Remember you have a bag now only demigods can search." Smiling at her as she is now smiling with a twinkle. She gave me a wink.
As she is leaving Zoro asked. "Can you pick that up for us." Gesturing to the stomped on food. Picking it up Kuina said. "Half for me half for him please." As I feed it to them they don't look pleased but swallow anyway. Kuina said. "Tell Rika it was delicious."
Smiling, I tell them. "No problem. Though you can tell her yourself soon. While we are waiting for Morgan to get down here. How about the both of you tell me why you became pirate hunters."
Kuina started. "Our shared dream is to become the world's greatest swordsman. After learning what we could at my family's school we headed out to learn more. Than repairing his swords got expensive."
"My swords! What about you needing a bed to sleep in." Zoro exclaimed.
"Bed! You are complaining about the cost of a bed when you run up the bar tab drinking!" Kuina countered.
"You drank just as much as me!" Zoro yells.
Kuina smiled like she won and in a calm voice answered. "Glad you admitted it in front of a witness."
Realizing what just happened Zoro yells. "Hey!" Glaring at her.
Rubbing my temples. "Okay. You needed money. Continue please."
Kuina continued while Zoro glared at her. "Some bandits were attacking the village after we defeated them we collected the bounty. Since almost all towns are near water and the majority of bounties are pirates we were given the title The Pirate Hunters."
Rubbing my chin I answer. "Well, it looks like you need to become pirates."
"WHAT!" Both exclaimed.
Smiling at them. "The most skilled swordsmen are on the grand line. They leave the four blues and head there. The isolated land of Wano is there. Also Hawkeye Mihawk has his own personal island there." As both their faces light up. "To get there safely you will need a crew of diversified people. How about a deal. Both of you join my crew until Loguetown, which is the town just outside the grand line. If you don't like how I operate we part ways no hard feelings. If you stay you become officers on my crew. Oh I almost forgot I am Monkey D Luffy the future Pirate King." As they are both busting out laughing I feel a large group of people coming out of the building behind me. "Or you can get to the grand line by joining the marines." Pointing to the group behind me as they stop laughing I continue. "Good luck getting them to take you anywhere you want to go rather than where they want to send you.
Zoro started. "Fine we will join you." Kuina continues. "However if you get in the way of our goal." Both together. "I will kill you myself." Then they look at each other talking in unison again. "No I will!" Then they glare at each other.
Rubbing my temples. 'What have I got myself into.'
"Who blew up my statue!" Morgan screamed. Turning I see Helmeppo pointing at me.
As I looked at the man who spoke I saw a big man with an axe for a hand, a metal jaw and a huge attitude bigger than he is. With 12 marines with him. They stopped 20 ft away.
"Yes that was me, I would like to register a complaint." Crossing my arms over my chest.
Morgan yelled extremely madly. "Anyone who disrespected me deserves to die. Shoot him!"
As the marines level their guns on me I dialed my haki back releasing just enough to make them pee their pants. "Anybody who follows his corrupt commands. I Will Kill!!" As everyone, even Morgan is pail I continue talking while slowly walking towards him still releasing a little haki. "You Demand tribute for your greatness, put up statues of yourself, imprison people for saving a person, and kill anyone who doesn't do what you say. That's not what the marines stand for! Anyone who follows his command I will give the same treatment I am about to give him." As I am 7ft away from Morgan the Marines back away. I also think one may have wetted himself a little. I am still in common clothes with no armor but have used my weapons enough so they are bleeding through revealing the belt and what is on it.
As I drew Undertow I stopped my haki from going to Morgan while keeping it on everyone else. Morgan getting his confidence back yelled. "Why aren't you cowards attacking?"
In the same voice a person used to talk to a baby I say. "Awww is the school bully going to get all the other kids to fight for him." Then in a serious voice. "Or are you going to be a man and fight for yourself Captain Axe Hand Morgan."
Screaming he raised the axe from his resting position at his side to cut me with the top side. However I side stepped to my left, easily missing it. He then raised it higher putting all his weight to cut me in half stepping forward he brought it down. 'What an amateur. Anyone with an ounce of swordsmanship can beat him. All well.' Swinging my right arm around in a right hook to the side of the axe 2 in from my face I hit it with the hand gard. Knocking it straight out to my left or his right side. As I do this my elbow is pointing towards his face, arm to the left, and sword pointing up. Rotating my sword like the hand of a clock counterclockwise at the wrist fast I rotate all the way around lobing off his arm halfway between the elbow and shoulder. (Ahhhhhhhhhh)
As he falls to his knees wide eyed clutching his stump trying to stop the bleeding. I lean down to tell him. "I hope they will put a tourniquet on you." As he looked up at me still in shock I gave him an uppercut to the jaw with my left hand. He is thrown upwards and back going in an ark 10ft in the air landing 20ft back.
As I get ready for battle dropping the haki I hear. "We are free. Hurray. Yes. It's over. Yay." Looking around. "What the hell. This was unexpected, maybe I can work with this.' Giving a whistle then in a loud voice I say. "Alright I take it you wore not acting on your free will so I will act on what you do now. First if you want him to pay for his crimes put a dam tourniquet on him now! Otherwise let him bleed out and blame it on me." As they think for a second two marines rushed over to apply first aid. As they did I noticed a few get depressed faces. "Second." Pointing with my bloody sword. "These two people are being held against their will on a civilians order for saving a girls life." As everyone looked ashamed of what I said I continued. "Unless you want me to show you what I do to people who treat others like that. I suggest you free them, return their belongings, take them somewhere to eat, namely this cafe where the little girl's mother works paying for their food, and apologize to them." Glaring at the marines. As some rushed to untie the prisoners and two more rushed inside.
I start walking over to Helmeppo. Pointing at him with Undertow. "If you want respect. Earn it. You see, all these people did not respect your father, they feared him. If they truly respected Morgan maybe one or two would have rushed to help him while the rest attacked me immediately." As Helmeppo saw all the marines moving like a well oiled machine while still keeping an eye on me. "You want people to obey you. I get that. However with fear keep one eye open because you will always have someone wanting to stab your back. Oh and one more thing if you turn out like you're father I promise you we will be enemies in the future."
Walking up to Zoro and Kuina who can barely stand. (Krash) Looking at the noise from the base we see the second floor window broken outward and two people hitting the ground. Looking back up we see the curtains whipping outward and a lot of papers, folders, and items coming out. Just then another person flies out landing hard and we hear a crack. Then the wind stopped and shortly after Nami pokes her head out. As she waves and goes back in. Looking at the marines I speak up. "She's with me." As they nod and go back to direct Zoro and Kuina to the Cafe.
Zoro and Kuina walk up, eyeing my sword. As I will the blood off it and sheath Undertow Zoro asked. "You could have done that at any point. Why leave the blood on it all this time?" I tell them in a blank tone. "It helps to reinforce the fact I am serious."
Kuina asked. "We want to challenge you." Both smiling at me.
Sighing, I tell them. "After a few days. Right now you need to rest, and recover. However I will tell you a sword is not my main weapon." As they both eyed my pistol and nodded.
As they are leaving the cafe Nami comes out with a frown. I ask. "Why so depressed Nami?"
Nami said. "I didn't find what I was looking for. Someone got here first." Passing me a note. As I open it I see a skull and crossbones of. A Clown?
I started to laugh. "Shishishi. That's Buggy's mark. All well guess the next stop is Buggy then." Taking a smell of the paper I put it away.
Let's go to the cafe and catch Zoro and Kuina.
\[Time skip\] \[Luffy's POV\]
As we walk in I see Zoro with three swords and Kuina with one impressive white handle sword. They are eating a lot with a lot of plates beside them. The waitress ran up and tackled me. As Nami glares daggers at her. the whatress says. "Thank you. I was so worried that he would come back and hurt Rika. Or kill them while they were locked up." As she hugs me again it looks like she wants to kiss me then backs away blushing as she looked to my left. As I look to my left I see Nami glare at the woman with a look that could kill.
"How did you know what happened? Was it the guards?"
As she was shaking her head Koby cleared his throat and said. "After I came here and dropped Rika off I didn't know how to get to the main gate so I eventually found my way back to the ladder. When I got to the top I saw a large group of people approaching you. I was so scared I froze until after you beat Morgan that is. I stayed and hurd what you said. As Zoro and Kuina left I rushed here to tell them. So they will have food ready."
"Good job thanks Koby. "
As I say this a marine walked in the door looking nervous. "Excuse me sir, but you are a pirate aren't you?"
"Yes, I just started a career a couple of days ago." As Koby is about to speak and Nami is about to explode into laughter. I hold my hand up to Koby. "Why do you ask?"
The marine pulled on his collar. "Well apparently I am in charge till a replacement is found. And while we are extremely grateful, and are no match for you. I have to ask you to leave." Hearing (What) from everyone in the cafe. "It is our job. And while we haven't been doing a good job lately we want to start." As he looked down.
"Zoro, Kuina are you through with your meal?" As both stood up and nodded we all walked towards the door.
The marine spoke. "Aren't you going with him?"
As I turn around I smile. "I wouldn't want that weak shrimp on my crew." As everyone looked at me for my harsh words I continued. "His dream is to be the world's greatest marine. If I brought him along I would have to always watch my back 24 seven. He was captured by Alvida and made her slave. It put a bad taste for pirates in his mouth. I can tell with training he will be strong but for now he is still a weak little shrimp."
As I said this Koby lunged at me. "Weak I will show you weak. How dare you make fun of me." I dodged to my right and grabbed him by the back of his shirt lifting him off the ground. "You said you wouldn't make fun of my dreams! You lied, you stinking pirate. I hate every one of you. Let me down. I will show you who is strong. I will become as strong as you. You overgrown pidgin." I dropped him on the ground, placed my hand on his chest and pushed him hard into the counter 10ft away knocking over a few stools making Koby extremely dazed on his but.
Looking mad I started walking towards him "You little brat. Wait until I get my hands on you." As the marine got in front of me I stopped.
He said in an angry tone. "Leave now!"
As I walk out I tell everyone. "Tell Garp. Luffy said It begins."
Once on the street I take a good look at the two untied and walking proud. Kuina was 5 ft 7 in tall and had short black hair not even to the shoulder approximately 21 years old. She had bluejeanes, white running shoes, and a light blue teeshirt. I would say easily a c-cup but her breasts did not move naturally when she walked they hardly moved at all and no nipls showed. Making me think she had them wrapped pretty tight witch would mean they were much bigger than I thought if that is true.
Zoro was a muscular man of 5 ft 10 in tall with lightly tanned skin about 19 years old. He had his three swords, bundled up over his right hip, allowing him to easily draw them with his left hand. He also has verry short green hair, three identical gold earrings on his left earlobe, and a bandana tied around his left bicep.
Zoro spoke first. "Don't you think you laid it on a little thick at the end." Kuina continues. "Evan I could see you like him."
"Vice Admiral Garp is my grandfather. I wanted to give him a message. I am starting out. Also you saw that marine he was willing to take a beating to protect that kid. That will go a long way towards repairing their reputation in the town." As the two newcomers look on in shock. Nami was interlocking my arm with hers.
As we are on the boat setting sail we see Koby, Rika,and her mother waving goodbye. Then the marines line up behind them. I get nervous until I see all of them selute to me. Relaxing, I wave back.
When I can't see the shore anymore I look at Kuina and Zoro. "I have a test for the two of you." As they walked over I continued. "My mother told me I have some gifts for some people. In my pouch but she didn't say who. So I will ask my crew to reach in to my pouch." As they both try one at the time they find it empty. "All well worth a shot . " I noticed Zoro had 3 common katakana. Reaching into my pouch I draw out an exceptional sword I had. As Zoro and Kuina have their jaws on the ground seeing something. So big come out of something they know is empty.
Zoro spoke up. "How? That's impossible."
"Na simple bag of holding. Only a demigod can reach inside. Tossing him the sword.
Zoro is shocked. "This is the great grade sword Kazeshini meaning Wind of Death. But how."
"Someone gave it to me a while ago." Turning towards Nami I ask. "So Nami do you want to go swimming or do you want to." Leaning in I whisper. "Go for a flight." As she squealed like she did as a kid I spoke. "Ok." trying to clear my ears out I continue. While she is bouncing from one foot to the other. The two onlookers are snickering. Giving Nami a big kiss on the lips transferring my power underwater I tell her through the link with thoughts 'How about we let them in on who exactly I am. Plus this ship is two small for me to change.'
Nami looked at me confused. 'How big are you now?'
'My back is a little over 10ft now, and about 20ft long in body alone. I have gotten bigger in all areas.' As I see her blushing.
Kuina clearing her throat. "If you are going to do it please use the cabin. We really don't want to watch." Smirking at us.
I replied, smiling at Nami. "If you say so." We both run and dive into the water. After about 2 minutes I feel them about ready to jump in and save us having not seen us suffused. Just as they take off their shoes I break the water in my Griffin form 20 foot above the water with Nami in the saddle smiling at them. As they scurry from the edge of the boat away from us. "Shishishi. You should see the look on your faces. It is priceless. By the way this is my main weapon. " As they are without words I continue. "We will be gone a couple of hours, make yourself at home." As we leave I hear them talking with Kuina saying. "Griffin we are working for the fucking Griffin." Zoro started laughing. "Hahahahahaha."
"What's so funny?" Kuina asked.
Zoro calmed down. "He claimed he was the next Pirate King. Now it doesn't sound so out of reach. If rumors are true he is the son of the God of the sea." As Kuina started to smile Zoro continued. "He needs the strongest swordsman in the world if he is going to achieve his goal and protect his family." As Kuina looked curiously at Zoro he continued. "He can't be everywhere at once. And I am sure he will run into a lot of people who are great swordsmen." As both are smiling.
"Shishishi." Nami puts her hand on my neck. I hear her say "What is so funny?" I answer back. "Unless we do something dramatic against their moral compass I believe Zoro and Kuina are in for the long haul." Hearing Nami chuckle then she tells me. "While that is great. I want to just focus on this. This is heven to me." As I looked back I saw tears in her eyes. I tell her. "I feel kinda jealous. Are you sure it is me you love or just flying?" As I am slapped in the back of my head I answer. "Hey no hitting the driver." I looked back and saw her about to cry in sadness instead of joy.
I quickly responded back to her. "I am sorry. What is wrong?" As she answered back I started to climb, having a hunch as to what would make her feel better. "Even with my father telling me you haven't been with someone I can't help but be scared. I mean you are you." Out of curiosity I ask. "What do you mean by that?" She holds her sides. "I saw how Rika's mother wanted to kiss you. Also how the other girls on the cruise ship turned their heads when you walked in. Dad said it is going to get twice as bad after you start having sex. I am scared ok. I don't want to lose you to another woman." I tell Nami. "Do you know what kept me from other women? You. The thought of your face when we went flying that first time. I want you to be my first. I can't and won't ever forget about you." As I feel her crying with happiness through haki I ask her. "Do you trust me?" Knowing we are extremely high up. I hear her say. "Always. Why." I tell her "Because I have invented a new thing in the sky I call sky diving. And some of Shank's crew find it an extremely exhilarating feeling." As I turn my head slightly I see her get excited, she asked. "Is it safe?" I tell her. "With me it is." After a minute I hear. "Let's do it."
Changing back to my human form. We fall. As I looked over she was smiling and crying like crazy. Moving over I grabbed her in a big hug and kissed her. Knowing with the wind she won't be able to hear me I use the connection with touching her. Thinking of her, I tell her. 'You are my center. My core. I will always keep you there, filling my heart.' As the tears are blowing off her face . I feel even more love coming from her than ever before directed at me. Then I hear her start to laugh, and in my head I hear. 'Catch me if you can.' Then she pushed away. Like when we were kids, and as she streamlined herself she shot down like a rocket. I know she will let me catch up, she always does but that doesn't ease my fears much. Laughing myself I chase after her as I streamline myself also. 'What have I gotten myself into now?'
