And we're back with the next batch of student files, this time covering Team BRNN. Much like the last one, I'll be working backwards in that I start with the last letter and end with the first, so we'll be beginning with Makoto's student file for now and we'll end with Blake's.
One thing I should bring up is that Makoto's tonfa were never named canonically as far as I can tell and looked up. So I decided to give them the name "Unfaltering Butterfly". The name comes from her character title from CTB, Unfaltering Beastkin, and from Butterfly Sky, which is the Japanese vocal version of her main theme, Alexandrite.

Description:
Bright and cheerful at almost all times, Makoto has perhaps one of the most extroverted personalities of the current first year students, with perhaps her only competition in that regard being her fellow teammate, Nora Valkyrie, whom she gets along with exceedingly well. She is among our students hailing from Sanctum Primary School alongside Pyrrha Nikos, Tsubaki Yayoi, and Noel Vermillion, the latter two of which she is very close friends with.
Combatively speaking, she has proven to be among the most physically adept first year students, having displayed athleticism in sparring classes matched only by a scant few. Notably, during initiation, she was able to punch an Ursa through several trees with little effort as well as uppercut them far into the air. Though this is in part thanks to her Semblance, Impact, which allows her Aura to build up energy and expel it all at once as a devastating attack, generally through her fists. The aforementioned Ursa getting knocked through the forest is evidence enough of that. Her skill in physical combat is further served by her weaponry, a pair of cross-shaped tonfa called Unfaltering Butterfly, whose sharp protrusions have proven quite deadly against various Grimm over the semester. Among her other combative capabilities, she also has a large, bushy squirrel tail as a result of her heritage as a Faunus, which she's made advantageous use of in both blocking attacks as well as delivering strikes to her opponents, most notably during sparring class against Cardin Winchester. Her most notable shortcoming in combat, however, is that she doesn't display much skill beyond fisticuff-oriented combat. Her overall battle-style is akin to street boxing, and she seems to be self-taught in this regard, which does prove to be a problem against finesse/skill-oriented fighters, such as her first sparring matches with such opponents as Weiss Schnee and Pyrrha Nikos of Team TSYP, where she proved to be quickly placed on the backfoot. Despite this, she makes up for it with sheer determination and adaptability to her opponents over time, as well as a strong grasp on her surroundings.
Makoto has notably expressed great disdain, and often outright anger, at any displays of racism that she has witnessed, more so than any other student at Beacon this semester. Many have noted that how Faunus have been treated is a touchy subject for her to talk about, with Doctor Oobleck informing me that her normally cheerful demeanor drops completely when his class subjects revolve around the issues of discrimination. Even compared to other students at Beacon in support of Faunus, Makoto's disdain for unjust discrimination can be downright palpable.
She has also proven to have a very active imagination, as, alongside her teammate, Nora Valkyrie, she often makes up stories of fighting outlandish Grimm on the fly. Outside of class, she has attempted to lecture Professor Port in how to tell entertaining stories, though Port has maintained that he finds it better to tell stories that are grounded in reality.
Extra Notes:
* Reports from Sanctum academy indicate that her early time there was far more violent due to racial subjugation, with her expressing open hostility towards the other students and engaging several fights, but she moved past it some time after befriending Miss Vermillion and Miss Yayoi.
* Despite performing in the top percentile of students in terms of athleticism and combative capabilities, Makoto consistently shows lackluster academic performance, often falling asleep in class and doing poorly on exams.
* Among the members of her team, she's closest with her partner, Blake Belladonna, even easing her out of her introversion and aloofness towards others when she first entered.
* She and Miss Yayoi both seem to have developed a sixth sense for whenever Miss Vermillion enters the kitchen. They have both been asked to report to the teachers in the event Miss Vermillion cooks again to ensure the safety of the students and faculty, as well as avoid property damage to school infrastructure. See Miss Vermillion's file for more details on the urgency of this situation.
And here we have the first of the next batch of student files. In regards to Makoto's family, I had to make up the names for the parents and baby brother since I don't think they were ever given while the rest of them were. As for why their names don't match the whole theme naming convention of the rest of the family, I had a hard time finding other names that matched so I just looked up and went with what I could find.
Probably not that big a deal in the long run, but still.
