I Have a few Stardew Valley Stories I have been meaning to share for a while.
Sorry I have been gone so long. College keeps me busy as does my job on the weekend.
I have about 3 weeks off (with the exception of weekends when I work)
SO here's hoping, along with new stories, that I can finally update some on going ones too~ ;)
Thank you for your patience~

"Hana~...Hana~..."
She could hear the Forest calling her name again...before the morning light broke the sky. She ran barefoot through the leaves, chasing the green lights that waved her over and called her name.
"What...are you?" she asked, reaching a hand out once again.
just as she was about to reach it this time...her blue eyes snapped open to greet the dawn. She sat up right in her bed...her arm stretched out toward trees outside her window. Willow slept soundly in the bed on the otherside and Hana was short of breath.
More and more she would have these dreams...
They seemed to come from the trees...as strange as that seemed.
She sighed.
"There's no way I am getting back to sleep..." she whispered softly to herself. After checking on a sleeping Willow, she slowly crept her way out to tend to the garden...and soon after made her way through the town.
As she wandered through, faded memories began to play. Of bright and sunny days with her and her Grandpa. Some with Willow too. She stopped at the bustop...where an old broken down bus lay, gathering critters and dust. She remembered getting excited when she and her Grandpa took the bus through the tunnel onto their next adventure. A small smile crept on her face as she wandered further. She stopped. A strong twinge within her..like an inner voice...belonging to...someone else. Something was calling her...and she followed it. As the feeling within her grew stronger, she found herself standing in front of an old rund down building...It was worn down...and had holes. And Plant life had begun to take over its wood work.
"This place...looks so familiar..." she blinked as she annalysed it further.
"Well then...good morning young Hana."
"Huh?" Hana blinked and turned to meet the voice that called her.
"Mayor Lewis..." she said softly, "...Good morning."
"You're up awful early, aren't you?" he chuckled.
"Ahh...yeah." she said softly, "I was...having strange dreams..."
"Hmm I see." said Mayor Lewis, "Still getting used to staying in the old rustic place are ya?" he chuckled. She took a few steps further beside him...taking in the building...becoming overwhelmed with a feeling of sadness.
"...What an eyesore...am I right?" he sighed, "This...is the Pelican Town Community Center." he said to her softly.
"This place?" she blinked, "Is the Community Center?"
Lewis nodded.
"Well...what's left of it, anyway..." he chuckled.
No wonder it feels so familiar...
She thought to herself.
My Grandpa and I used to spend so much time here...
"It used to be the pride and joy of the town." said Lewis, "Always bustling with activity..." he sighed, "And now look at it." he blinked, "It's shameful." he stated, "Now-a-days, young folk would rather sit in front of the Tv than engage with the comunnity..." he chuckled, "Listen to me...I sound like an old fool."
"I don't think so." said Hana, taking Lewis by surprise.
"M...My Grandpa...he..." she sighed, "He loved this place..."
"Heh...that he did." Lewis chuckled, "Good old Chester..." he smiled before reverting into a saddened frown, "Joja Corporation has been hounding me to sell them the land so that they can turn this old building into a warehouse..." he sighed, "Pelican Town could really use the money..." he blinked, "But something about this place...I don't know." he stated, "Something is stopping me from selling it." he said softly, "I guess old timers like me get attached to relics of the past."
"I don't really see anything wrong with that..." said Hana, "After all, My Grandpa was the same way," she smiled, "He believed History should be preserved."
Lewis smiled.
"Come on..." he said softly, "Let's take a look inside..."
XXXXX
The inside wasn't much better. In fact it was much worse. Holes in the floors. Broken walls. Shattered glass. A wind sounded through the boarded windows and it made the building creak and moan.
"Huh? What's this now?" Lewis wondered out loud as he took in the sight of what looked to be a small hut. Something about it entranced Hana...Subtle whispers seemed to sound from it. Of course, they only seemed to hit her ears...as Mayor Lewis didn't seem to notice at all.
"Perhaps Vincent and Jas have been playin g house in here..." he shook his head, "This place is even more dilapidated than I remember..." he stated. As the Mayor took in the run down space, something small and green seemed to pop from mid air and wave at her. Startled by this anomaly, she jumped and quickly rubbed her eyes.
"What?" Lewis blinked, "Is everything all right, Hana?"
"B-Behind you-" she said with a tremble in her voice as she pointed.
"Say what?" Lewis blinked and glanced back.
Lot of good that did of course, to Hana's luck, the creature vanished as he turned to look.
"Are you ill?" he asked her.
"B-But...it was..." she blinked a few times and sighed.
"You saw something?" he blinked, "Hm...I wouldn't be surprised if this place was inhabited with rats..."
"Rats...?" she blinked and shook her head, "No I assure you it wasn't a rat- " she gasped as another appeared and startled her once more.
What are these things!?
She thought to herself.
How can he not see them?
She blinked.
Let alone SENSE them!?
"You're worrying me, Hana..." Lewis said to her, "Perhaps you should head on home." he said to her, "Try to get some rest."
"Yeah...all right." she said softly to which Lewis acknowledged with a nod as he prepared to take his leave. Stopping short of the door he paused and turned toward her one more time.
"Hey...I am going to keep this place unlocked from now on." he said to her, "Feel free to explore and maybe help catch that rat." he smiled as he waved his farewell.
Strange...
She thought to herself when a sudden ringing resounded within her.
"Hana~ Hana~"
These are the voices from my dreams...!
She thought to herself as she followed them further.
Except this time...I'm certain I am awake...
The calling had lead her to an empty room with faded wallpaper and holes in the carpet. In this room rested a single tablet that glowed as she approached.
"What...is this...?" she asked in a deminished tone. Her normally bright blue eyes have glassed and faded over, beginning to emit a light of their own as she leaned down toward the tablet and a scrambled lettering began to vibrate around the surface. She squinted her eyes to read it. Some of the words she could make out...but it was struggle.
Written in a language she didn't know...and yet somehow understood.
As she leaned in closer she could just barely make out the scrambled words as she read...
"We...Are...Junimo...?"
