Prompt: He awoke from a nightmare about...
Remus' eyes shot open as he sat up in his bed, breathing hard. He had just awoke from a nightmare. Glancing towards the window, he watched the waxing gibbous moon. It was only a few days away, but this time it was going to be different. Just a few days ago, his friends revealed the secret they had been working on. They had successfully became animgus. They were determined to accompany him during his next full moon and he was terrified. That's where this nightmare had come from. He had not only killed his friends, but he had also killed his boyfriend.
"Remus," Sirius' voice split the silence and scared him as he turned to look at his boyfriend whom had just woken up as well. "Are you okay?"
Remus couldn't answer or stand to even look at him. Lowering his gaze as tears fell, he turned away. He knew Sirius would worry, but he also couldn't bear to let him see him cry. Sirius silently moved to his boyfriend's bed before sitting down and wrapping his arms around him.
"You don't have to tell me what's wrong, but I will be here for you," he whispered in his ear.
This was all Remus needed to hear before turning around, placing his head to a muscular shoulder, and cried as his arms wrapped around him. He never heard James or Peter wake up or Sirius telling them he had this. He didn't remember falling asleep in those strong arms either. All he knew was he woke up with a headache, in his own bed, but with his lover's arms still wrapped around him.
