Chapter 5: Too Much Information
Anakin turned towards Ahsoka and asked her one thing. "Promise you won't tell anyone?" Ahsoka looked at him. She walked closer and hugged him. "I'm never telling." Anakin smiled and hugged back. "Thank you, Snips." "We'd better get to the council," said Ahsoka and she unlocked the door and opened it. Anakin nodded and walked out, followed by Ahsoka. They walked to the council room. Obi-Wan walks up behind them. "I'm coming too." Ahsoka stopped and turned around. She glared at him. Obi-Wan looked at Anakin. Anakin shrugged. "What did I do?" he asked Ahsoka. "You know what you did," she said. Then she turned around and walked away. Anakin just shrugged and ran after her. Obi-Wan sighed and followed. They got to the council room and walked in. Aayla Secura, Mace Windu, and Yoda were sitting next to each other waiting. Ki-Adi-Mundi, Saesee Tiin, and Shaak Ti were also there with Coleman Trebor, and Depa Billaba sitting there too. "Skywalker. We have some new bits of information regarding last night and who this vampire is," said Windu. Anakin froze. "What happened last night?" he asked trying not to panic. Ahsoka looked at Anakin then at Obi-Wan who was avoiding her eyes. "Padwan Tano and Master Kenobi will leave. We want to talk to Skywalker alone," said Ki-Adi-Mundi. "I with all due respect Masters, I think I should stay. I am Master Skywalker's Padawan after all. Master Kenobi should stay too. He used to be Master Skywalker's mentor," said Ahsoka. "We are all aware. But we need to ask you to leave anyway, Padawan Tano," said Windu. Ahsoka bowed her head and Obi-Wan left followed by Ahsoka. She took one last glance at Anakin before disappearing behind the corner. Anakin watched them leave.
