OMG the first three episodes of the Bad Batch were SO GOOD! I'm going to try to work in the Bad Batch later on in the story. Can't wait for the next episode!

Steve's eyes shot open, Dr. Strange's words ringing in his ears. He pushed himself to his feet and looked around. On one side of Steve was an ocean, and on the other, huge trees and grasslands. Looking to his side, Steve saw someone lying in the sand near him. But it wasn't just any man. It was the billionaire Tony Stark AKA Iron Man and one of Steve's best friends.

Steve hurried over to Tony's side. He was starting to wake up. "Tony!" Steve nearly shouted.

Tony opened his eyes and sat bolt upright. When he saw Steve, confusion flooded his eyes. "Cap?" he asked.

"Oh my god," Steve said, shaking his head in astonishment.

"What happened?" Tony asked.

Steve offered Tony his hand to help him up and replied, "you tell me."

"Hey, you there!" Steve turned his head as a voice sounded behind him. A man in white and yellow armor was walking up to them, pointing a gun at them. "What are you doing here?"

"Yeah, we're figuring that out now buddy," Tony retorted with a hint of his old humor.

Before the man in armor could respond, another man walked out of the tall grass. This one was in a cream colored outfit. He placed his hand on the armored trooper's shoulder. "Let's hear them out, Cody," the new man said.

"Yes sir," Cody said, lowering his gun.

"We're not looking for trouble," Steve told them, though he tightened his grip on his shield.

"Neither are we," the man in the robe said.

"Where is this?" Steve asked.

"Kachiro Beech on Kashyyyk," the man replied.

Steve tilted his head. "Kashyyyk?"

"You don't know about Kashyyyk?" Cody asked.

"I do," Tony said. "Give us a second, will you?" Without waiting for an answer, Tony turned to Steve. "I've done some quick mental calculations, and if I'm right, which I always am, we have entered the multiverse. That's why I'm alive."

Steve nodded. "I was visited by Dr. Strange, he said I had entered the multiverse. Do you think there was anyone else?"

"Yeah," Tony said.

"Do you know where we are?" Steve asked.

Tony paused before responding quietly, "the Star Wars universe."

"Shit," was all Steve was able to say.

"Gentleman, may we help you?" the man in the cream outfit asked.

Steve and Tony exchanged a glance before Steve said, "we're looking for our friends."

"May I ask what their names are?" the man asked.

"There's a lot of them…" Steve said.

"Could you tell me one of them?" the man asked.

"Thor," Steve replied, saying the name that first came to mind.

"I haven't heard of him," the bearded man said regretfully.

"Bucky Barnes?" Steve asked, his heart aching at the thought of his friend.

The man was silent for a moment before asking, "what does he look like?"

"He has a metal arm," Steve said.

"Yes, I believe I know where he is," the man said.

"Can you take us to him?" Steve asked, his heart pounding.

"You should go, General Kenobi. We can handle any clankers that come near here," Cody said a bit arrogantly.

"Thank you, Cody," the man who Steve now knew was Kenobi said. Then he turned back to Steve and Tony. "I'm Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi," he said.

"Steve Rogers and Tony Stark," Steve introduced them.

"If you don't plan to stay the night, I suggest we get going, Cap," Tony said. If Tony hadn't just come back from the dead a few moments ago, Steve would have been frustrated with his comrade. Now he just felt affection.

"Right, could you take us to them?" Steve asked Obi-Wan.

"Of course," Obi-Wan agreed, walking back into the grass and beckoning for them to follow him. "Cody, tell Anakin about these two," Obi-Wan ordered.

"Yes, sir!" Cody responded, saluting him.

Steve heard metal clanging and looked at Tony, who had just put on his suit via some sort of Stark technology.

"I take it you're too lazy to just walk through the grass," Steve commented as Tony lifted himself into the air.

"More or less," was all he said.

"What is that?" Obi-Wan asked, looking skeptically at Tony's armor.

"It's his armor. He built it himself," Steve explained.

"That's some very advanced technology," Obi-Wan commented.

"He makes a lot of that stuff," Steve told him.

"You guys just gonna stand around all day or can we get going?" Tony asked.

"Right, follow me," Obi-Wan said, walking farther into the grass, which started to thin out within a few seconds, giving way to a marshy jungle.

"The ship's just over here," Obi-Wan told them, pointing to the bottom of one of the huge trees.

"Thank you for taking us to our friend," Steve said as he boarded the ship.

"Of course. I have to go where they are anyway. There has been… an incident at the Jedi Temple, which is where they are staying," Obi-Wan said, his voice sounding stressed.

"What do you mean, 'they'?" Tony asked.

"I believe many of your friends are also at the temple," Obi-Wan stated.

"Who?" Steve asked.

"My Padawan told me about them, but I don't remember their names. However, I do remember that he said one of them had a flying contraption. Does that sound familiar?" Obi-Wan asked.

"Did he have armor like mine?" Tony asked as Obi-Wan sat down in the pilot's chair and prepped the ship for launch.

"No… I think he had metal wings," Obi-Wan replied.

"That's Sam," Steve said, happy to hear that he would soon see two of his friends.

"There were three more. Anakin, who's my Padawan, said that one could shoot spiderwebs out of his wrist," Obi-Wan continued, frowning slightly.

"Peter?" Tony asked. Steve was surprised to hear a little anxiety in his voice, then remembered how worried Tony had been about the kid when Carol Danvers had brought him back to Earth.

"Yes, that name sounds familiar," Obi-Wan said. "I do remember one of their names. I think it was Wanda. She had her husband with her."

Steve raised an eyebrow. "Wanda? Are you sure that was her name?"

"Yes, why?" Obi-Wan confirmed.

"Her husband is dead," Steve said, recalling the hard struggle to keep Thanos from reaching Vision.

"So am I," Tony reminded Steve.

"You're… dead?" Obi-Wan asked.

"Yeah. I saved the universe, though," Tony added.

"How are you alive now?" Obi-Wan asked.

"Because of the multiverse," Tony said casually.

"What's that?" Obi-Wan asked.

"It's very hard to explain," Steve said.

"Well, let's just find your friends for now and continue this discussion later," Obi-Wan suggested.

"Finally," Tony said. Steve rolled his eyes and resisted the urge to tell him off.

"Let me just make the preparations for the jump," Obi-Wan said.

"The jump?" Steve asked.

"When you jump into hyperspace, you're going at the speed of light," Obi-Wan told him. Steve nodded slowly, though he still didn't exactly understand. He decided it was best to save his questions for later.

"You might want to strap in." Obi-Wan waved his hand at the seats next to and behind him. Steve slid into the seat next to him and clipped on his seatbelt. Obi-Wan pressed a few more buttons and slid a lever forward. At the same time, the stars began to blur around them before the ship shot forward and they were lost all together in a sea of blue.

…...

Sam followed the clone trooper named Fives down many halls until they reached a large landing platform. "Where are they?" Sam asked, looking around him.

"They're not here yet," Fives explained.

"How long will it take?" Peter asked. Sam knew he must be anxious to see Tony again.

"Ten minutes tops," Fives told them, then asked, "you said they were dead… What did you mean by that?"

"They're dead, that's what we mean. We have no idea how they're alive now," Bucky said, clearly not in a talking mood as usual.

"Weird…" Fives murmured.

"Is that them?" Wanda asked, pointing up at an incoming ship.

Fives held up some sort of device that Sam guessed had scanned the ship and then said, "that's them, all right." Sam and Bucky looked at each other, sharing a once-in-a-lifetime connection.

The five Avengers all waited in anxious silence as the ramp of the ship slid down and, after what felt like a millennia, revealed two figures everyone immediately recognized.

"Steve," Bucky spoke first. Steve hurried over to Sam and Bucky while Tony walked to Peter.

"Oh my god. Steve…" Sam stammered.

"What happened?" Bucky asked.

"I guess we came back because of the multiverse, but… I still don't know how," Steve replied.

"It's so good to see you again," Sam said, still finding it hard to believe Steve Rogers was alive.

"You too, Sam," Steve agreed, then his gaze traveled down to his shield. "That looks great on you, Captain America," Steve said.

Sam shook his head and held out the shield to Steve. "It's still not mine."

Steve patted Sam's shoulder. "It is yours," Cap insisted.

"Cap, this is-" Sam began.

Steve cut him off. "No, Sam. This belongs to you."

Sam sighed. He knew it would be pointless to argue anymore. "Fine."

"We're going to need more bedrooms," Sam heard Fives mutter from behind him.

"Don't worry about us," Sam assured him, turning to face the clone.

"We do not wish to be a burden," Steve added.

"Oh, it's not trouble," Fives said. Sam guessed that he hadn't meant for the Avengers to hear his comment.

"Wanda," Steve called, beckoning her over.

Wanda smiled and she and Vision walked over to where Steve, Bucky and Sam were standing.

"I assume Vision is alive for the same reason as me and Tony," Steve mused. Sam winced, realizing Steve didn't know the pain Wanda had been in lately.

"Yes, it's now my third time being revived," Vision said

"Third?" Steve asked.

"I… was able to revive him, but I…" Wanda trailed off. She didn't need to finish; it was obvious what had happened when you have the job Sam and the other Avengers had.

"I'm so sorry," Steve said solemnly.

"We also had kids, and I assume they are also alive somewhere," Wanda added, while Vision wrapped his arm around her.

"We will find them," Steve promised.

"Thank you," Wanda said. Then her expression lightened a little. "It's good to see you again, Cap."

"You too," Steve said warmly. At that moment, Tony and Peter came over, with Peter looking rather overwhelmed. Steve nodded a greeting to Peter who returned it.

"Shouldn't we see if we can find anyone else?" Bucky asked.

"Not yet. We should stay here and try to learn as much about this place as possible. Give them a chance to come to us," Sam said. Bucky hesitated for a moment then nodded.

"What should we do about sleeping arrangements?" Bucky asked.

"Me and Vision got a ship with two bedrooms. We can stay there," Wanda suggested.

"Excuse the interruption, but I must leave. I have something important to attend to," someone said from behind Cap.

"I can't thank you enough for bringing us back to our friends, Obi-Wan," Steve said.

"I was on my way here anyway," Obi-Wan replied before walking out of the hanger.

"How far away is your ship?" Tony asked Wanda.

"We landed it about a mile or so away," Wanda replied, pointing vaguely out into the vast expanse of ships and buildings.

"You could bring it into this hangar bay if you want," Fives spoke up.

"We might just take you up on that," Tony said.

"I'll go get the ship," Vision said, levitating a few feet from the ground.

"I'll come with you," Tony offered, rising up to meet Vision's eye level.

"Thank you," Vision said. Then the two flew out of the hanger bay to retrieve the ship.

"Are you sure we'll all be able to sleep on the ship?" Bucky asked.

"There's only two beds, but I believe there are a few chairs that you can position so that they're more like beds," Wanda replied.

"That'll have to do," Steve said.

"Does anyone's comms work?" Sam asked, remembering how he and Sam had tried theirs to no avail.

"Both mine and Vision's comms are just receiving static," Wanda said regretfully.

"Friday said she was able to pick up a signal on the other end, but we also just heard static," Steve said.

"I don't know where mine is," Peter chimed in.

"Maybe Tony could fix them," Steve suggested.

"Incoming!" Bucky shouted, pointing just outside of the hanger. Sam peered around Steve and saw a ship coming in for a crash-landing.

Sam activated his jetpack and the wings unfurled, quickly taking him out of reach of the ship. Peter had used his webs to take him to the other side, Wanda flew up to the top of the hanger, and Steve and Bucky ran at top speed to where Sam was, reaching him in a few seconds thanks to their super soldier serum.

"Who is flying that ship?" Bucky asked as the ship crashed onto the floor of the hanger.

"That would be Mr. Stark," Vision replied, using his powers to get out of the ship without opening the door.

"Of course it was," Steve muttered.

Then the ramp opened and Tony walked out, saying, "I think I did okay." Sam shook his head in amusement.

"You did not," Vision informed him.

"Whatever," Tony said.

"Tony, do you think you can fix our comms?" Steve asked.

Tony sighed dramatically. "You're killing me, Rogers."

"Can you?" Steve repeated.

"Obviously," Tony said, rolling his eyes. "I've actually fixed mine already," he added.

"You have? Did anyone respond?" Steve asked.

"If their comms are damaged like ours, there's no way they can. So no, nobody responded," Tony said.

"Right," Steve sighed.

"You guys just going to stand there? I can't fix your comms if I don't have them," Tony complained. Sam quickly took his ear piece out and tossed it to Tony with the others following suite.

Tony took a moment to examine the comms before saying, "Geeze, Cap! Why is yours from like the 1920s? You too, Barns!" Bucky and Cap exchanged a confused glance.

"We've always used the same comms as the rest of you," Steve said.

"Yeah, well, I have a theory on why that is," Tony continued.

"You already have a theory within ten seconds of finding that out?" Steve asked.

"Dude," Tony sighed.

"Right, you're super smart," Steve muttered.

"Bingo," Tony said, looking back at the comms. His armor unfolded onto his hand while the rest of his body stayed the same. He used a tool of some kind on one of the comms and put it in his ear.

"Friday, how is it?" he asked.

"Already functional, boss," Sam heard Friday say.

"Great. Wanda, this one's yours," Tony said, holding up the comm for a second before tossing it to Wanda, who used her powers to catch it. Tony did the same with the rest of their commlinks within the next three minutes, though it took slightly longer for him to figure out how to fix Steve and Bucky's comms because they were so old.

"You said you have a theory on why their comms are super old, right?" Sam asked when Tony had finished.

"Right. I think it's just something else the multiverse altered, like how it brought me, Steve, and Vision back to life," Tony explained.

"Sounds likely," Wanda agreed.

Sam heard a door sliding open and looked to the side of the hanger to see Ahsoka walking in. "Commander Tano," Fives greeted her respectfully.

"At ease trooper," Ahsoka said as she neared him, though she sounded troubled.

"Is something wrong?" Sam asked.

Ahsoka turned to look at him, her gaze cautious. "We've just initiated a planet-wide lockdown," she told him. "That means you must get to a safe room, but the only ones available are the cells. I wish we could properly thank you for helping us fight the sith lord, but right now, we need to concentrate on getting a handle on this whole situation."

"Don't worry about thanking us. But would it be okay if we left the planet?" he asked.

Ahsoka shook her head. "No. We will not be allowing any ships to enter or leave the planet."

"I understand," Sam said, though he was starting to feel frustrated. They needed to find their friends, and there was no way they could do that while sitting in a cell.

"Couldn't we just stay in our ship?" Bucky asked, waving his hand at the ship Tony and Vision had brought back.

Ahsoka was silent for a moment before replying, "I suppose you could, but we'd have to close the hanger doors."

"That would be great," Steve said.

"I'll leave Fives here with you if you need anything, but that's all I can do," Ahsoka told them.

"Thank you," Sam said. Ahsoka nodded and walked back out.

"Can I ask something?" Fives asked.

"Of course," Steve said.

"Who exactly are you? I mean… you two can run super fast," Fives pointed to Steve and Bucky, "you can… shoot webs out of your wrists?" he checked, pointing to Peter, "and the rest of you can fly…"

"On our planet, there are a lot of individuals like us," Sam began carefully. "Steve and Bucky took a serum that made them stronger and faster by a lot. My jetpack is pretty self-explanatory. Tony's suit is… slightly confusing, given that it sort of just unravels on him from his arc reactor."

"Okay… What about those two?" Fives asked, pointing to Wanda and Vision.

Sam glanced at the two of them and said, "maybe it's best if you explain what your powers are."

"It would be easier to show him," Wanda pointed out.

"Whatever works," Sam shrugged.

"Maybe we could use our powers on Fives," Wanda suggested mischievously.

"What?" Fives asked, backing up a few paces.

"Don't worry, we won't do anything that will hurt you," Wanda assured him.

"Umm… I guess that's okay," Fives agreed.

"Great," Wanda said, walking up to Fives. She placed her hands near Fives's head, and red energy bagan to surround them. A moment later, the red went from her hand to his head, and Five's eyes glowed briefly. Wanda pulled away and waited for the spell to pass.

Suddenly, Fives gasped and bent down slightly, freed from Wanda's magic. "What was that?" he asked.

"I can manipulate people's minds to give them nightmares," Wanda explained casually.

"You… What? H-how?" Fives asked in confusion.

"Me and my brother are enhanced," Wanda told him. Sam noticed a slight quiver in her voice at the mention of Pietro, but it was so small only those who knew her past would notice it.

Sam could tell that wasn't the answer Fives wanted, but he didn't say anything. "Can you do anything else?"

In response, Wanda held up one hand, her red energy beginning to glow around it, and disappeared. Sam widened his eyes; he had never seen Wanda do that before. She reappeared a moment later in the same spot, leaving everyone but Vision looking at each other in confusion.

Wanda reached out a hand at the ship, surrounding it in glowing red. A moment later, it lifted from the ground, and Wanda swung it to the other side of the hanger with practiced ease. Wanda continued to show Fives the rest of her abilities, with Vision following suit. When they finished, Fives just stared at them, dumbfounded.

"Well, that was certainly a nice way of passing the time," Fives said once he had finally found his voice. Sam felt laughter bubbling up inside of him, and noticed his comrades exchanging smiles and short bursts of laughter. It was the first time Sam had enjoyed himself since arriving in the alternate universe.

"You guys are more fun than you look," Fives laughed.

"Oh, you'd be surprised," Sam said, exchanging an amused glance with Steve.

"I have to assume that people with your abilities will have some great stories to tell?" Fives asked hopefully.

"Where do we start?" Tony joked.

"Tell him about New York," Peter suggested.

"Oh, god," Tony scoffed.

"What's New York?" Fives asked.

"It's a large city on our home," Steve explained.

"What happened?" Fives asked.

All the Avengers turned to Tony, who rolled his eyes a moment before embarking on the long story of the forming of the Avengers. Sam and the rest of his companions rolled their eyes as Tony bragged about how brave he was when he flew into space.

Even though the Avengers were happy now, Sam couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong, aside from the obvious. He wondered if he would ever see Earth again, and if he did… What would he come back to?

A/N: Finally done! Phew, that took a while, sorry. I'm really enjoying writing this story and I hope the next chapter will come sooner than this one did!
