One Piece Folk Tales

While doing some practice writing/world-building, I was inspired to create some folktale/fairytale type stories for the One Piece universe. These may or may not come into fruition in my other fics, but a few of these were inspired by certain characters/concepts.

5. The Seed

a/n: I originally wrote this over a year ago, and it will appear fairly soon in my fic (theoretically xD) so I decided I wanted to share. This one also has a tune, and I'll probably record a better version than what I have now to share later, so stay tuned on tumblr to see~
(also, I only named the song like 5 secs ago there is not really a specific reason behind the name that I could name xD)

The Seed

Shattered and scattered across the sea,
shattered and scattered across the sky.
Gather the pieces and sew them deep.
Reap what was once, is no longer mine.

Buried deep beneath the peaks,
buried deep within the earth,
lies a lofty slumb'ring steed,
waiting for his master's birth
