"Natsu, hurry up!" Zeref called. "You better hurry or you're going to be late for school!" Natsu came running down with him feeling great. "Hey, did you ever find out what happen to the alien lifeform?"

"Nope. Sabertooth never had it." Natsu said. "Since they didn't have it, I have no idea where it could have gone."

"Well, it better turn up soon." Zeref said. "Dr. Acnologia's career depends on it returning. It could also lead you into some trouble since he thinks you're the one that took it."

"Sorry, bro. I'm not sure where it could have gone." Natsu said. "I better get going. Lucy might be waiting outside." He hurried out. Natsu actually lied to his brother. He knew where that alien lifeform was the whole time. 'Sorry, bro. This new black suit gives me greater power. I can't just give it up without really trying it out.' He thought at he was keeping it close to him. 'This thing even hides under my clothes. I don't have to waste time changing. This thing feels great. I'm sure everything will work out in the end.'

"Hey, you." Lucy said as she walked over to him and gave him a kiss, but felt something wasn't quite right. "Is everything okay? Something about you seems different."

"Everything is great." Natsu said as the two walked. Natsu feels great about having these powers, but is holding onto something from space really a good idea, especially when it's alive?

Magnolia High

Natsu and Lucy made it to school. Natsu kept it on the downlow about his new suit, but he was feeling great about the whole thing. He just couldn't stop being happy. Things were about to go well even more as they saw Juvia and Erza ahead.

"Hey, guys. We got great news." Erza said.

"What news?" Lucy said.

"Someone is back in school." Juvia said as she seemed more excited than the others.

"Who could that be?" Natsu questioned.

"Who do you think?!" He felt his head be put in a headlock as they all saw Gray was back. "Did you think I was gone for good, moron?"

"Gray?!" Natsu said.

"Gray?! You're back!" Lucy said as she hugged him.

"It's really great that you are." Juvia said as she moved Lucy out of the way and hugged him as well. She also gave Lucy a warning glare.

"It's great to be back." Gray said. "Some of my missing memories haven't returned, but it's good to be out of that hospital."

"Regardless, it's great that you're back, Gray." Erza said. "We all missed you around here."

"Thanks, guys." Gray said. "I'm actually glad to be at school. It's got to be better than whatever is going on in the courthouse. Get this. They're actually holding trial for those in the Oracion Seis and Sabertooth."

"Say what?" Natsu said as that caught his interest. "Why are they holding a trial for those guys? Everyone knows that they're guilty."

"I know. It's a little weird, but someone insisted that they get one." Gray said. "I don't know who would want to fight for those guys. They're clearly guilty. Oh well. The jury has got to find them guilty. Who in their right mind think they're innocent?" All of them just brushed it aside and went for class. Natsu stayed behind as he thought about it.

'Those two gangs getting trial? I better make sure that they are found guilty.' Natsu thought. He jumped in the air and brought out his new costume. Natsu actually cut school to go and check this out.

The Courthouse

People wanted to see that the Oracion Seis and Sabertooth are sent to jail. None of them understood why anyone would want to keep them out of jail, but it was out of the public's hands. Zeref heard about this and decided to go and check it out. He was able to get inside and made his way to a balcony. He looked down and could see Jiemma and Brain out front with the rest of their gang on the sides.

"As we all know, these two notorious gangs have been at war with each other for a long time, trying to outdo the other. There's also the third gang known as Grimoire Heart, but it would seem that they have diminished to mere common thugs. If these two gangs are locked away, our city would be much safer."

"They got that right." Zeref said. "This makes no sense. They might be obliged to a fair trial, but everyone knows what these gangs have done."

"Boy, you can say that again." Zeref turned around and was surprised to see Salamander in black at the door. "Hey, bro. Didn't think you would be here."

"Natsu?! What are you doing here?!" Zeref said. "You should be in school."

"This seemed more interesting." Natsu said.

"Are you crazy? You actually cut class?!" Zeref said. "What's with that suit as well? When did you get a black suit?"

"Funny story..." Natsu said. Zeref didn't seemed amused, but there was no time for a story as he spotted something suspicious in the halls.

"You'll have to tell me later. Look behind you." Zeref said. Natsu turned around and saw someone he knew on the other side of the halls. They saw Ethan Nathaniel Darringtin, also known as END, Salamander's greatest enemy. They saw him on the phone and was talking in secret.

"END? What's he doing here?" Natsu questioned.

"Well, the conflict between the gangs originated with him." Zeref said. "Grimoire Heart, Oracion Seis, and Sabertooth go at each other because they want to be part of some elite team that works for him, right?"

"Must be another one of his tricks or such to beat the system. Let's see if I can get a listen." Natsu said as he jumped on the ceiling and crawled his way over to listen in on END. He tried to get a closer listen to what END was saying, but he couldn't here him.

"Very well." END said as he ended the call.

"What's he planning?" Natsu questioned.

"You don't honestly think you can sneak up to me, do you?" END said as he turned to face Salamander. "New look, Salamander? You look good in black."

"I guess I'm trying something new." Natsu said. "Enough with the small talk. What are you really doing here? I doubt it's to see justice prevail."

"You know me too well. I might still have use for those gangs." END said. "That's why I'm here to make sure they get an early release."

"You and what army?" Natsu said.

"Don't you know you shouldn't ask that?" END said. He snapped his fingers. Natsu was surprised to see lizardmen showing themselves. He heard a commotion on the ground level and saw more of them busting into the courtroom.

"No way! I recognize these giant handbags. They belong to that looney scientist: Daphne." Natsu said.

"Yes. She has her uses." END said as he backed away. One of the lizardmen jumped at Natsu and tackled him off the ceiling and to the ground level. Natsu was tossed against the floor as more of those lizards surrounded him.

"So much for order in the court." Natsu said. One lizard went to attack him, but Natsu had flames go around his fist and he knocked the head right off. "Good thing these guys are animatronic. That would have been messy." One other tried to attack, but he grabbed it by the arm and tossed it with the arm coming off. Two more tried attacking him, but he jumped and smashed their heads together.

"What's he doing?" Zeref said as he thought Natsu was acting more savage. While Natsu was trying to fight off the lizards, Zeref decided to go after END to see what he was really up to.

"Are these lizards even trying?" Natsu said as he was bringing one down after another. "END is here for his little gangs, but there's no way I'm letting any of them out." Natsu hurried over to the courtroom, but he saw more of those lizards crawling out. "They just don't learn." Natsu popped his knuckles as he was ready for a fight. Meanwhile, Zeref tried his best to follow after END without being caught.

"What's he doing?" Zeref questioned. He followed END outside. When he was there, they saw a couple lizardmen bust down the wall. It was used as an exit for Sabertooth and Oracion Seis.

"What is this?" Brain questioned.

"Who cares? It's a way to get out of here." Jiemma said.

"I must say that I'm a little disappointed." END said. When he got their attention, all of them seemed rather nervous of him. "It's not exactly impressive that I have to be the one to let you loose when you're competing for my approval."

"We're... We're sorry." Brain said.

"Just get going." END said. "As for the lizards, they'll tear Salamander apart." All of them took the opportunity and ran off. "Brain!" He got Brain's attention before he ran off. "I actually have something that you and the rest of the Oracion Seis might be useful for. Meet with me when you have the chance."

"Of course." Brain said and ran. END seemed rather satisfied with what happened here. Now that he's done what he needed to do, he was taking his leave as he headed for his car. Zeref wasn't going to let him escape that easily as he hurried. Zeref moved to the trunk as he opened it up and tried to get inside. Just as END was about to leave in his car, he heard a shattering sound. He saw Salamander throw another one of those lizards through glass doors.

"Where are you going?!" Natsu called as he saw END was about to leave. Natsu also noticed Zeref was trying to sneak inside. He didn't like that at all. END smirked at him as he closed the door and his car was about to leave. Zeref climbed in the trunk and closed it. "Wait!" Natsu was about to go after them, but a lizard tackled him and held him down.

"Have fun, Salamander." END said as the car drove off. Natsu didn't like that END escaped. He didn't like that his brother was heading for the demon's den either.

"Get off!" Natsu shouted as he smashed his head against the lizard. He used his new strength and was able to push the lizard off. It tried going at him again, but Natsu knocked the head right off. One more tried to attack him. It jumped right at him, but Natsu smashed his fist right through the chest. He crushed each one of those robotic lizards. However, when he calmed down, he thought something wasn't right. "That was weird. I completely crushed those lizards. You know what, it doesn't matter. I need to get to END before he does something to Zeref." Natsu jumped in the air and moved as fast as he could to catch END.

...

END's Building

END was able to retreat back to his building. When his car pulled into a parking garage, he stepped out and moved. Zeref waited until he thought the close was clear. When he carefully looked out, he saw they stopped. Zeref moved carefully out to be sure END wouldn't spy him. As soon as Zeref stepped out and closed the trunk, he was grabbed by the back of his neck.

"If Salamander couldn't sneak up on me, what made you think you could?" END said. "Did you really think I wouldn't notice you back there."

"No wonder your Salamander's greatest enemy." Zeref said. "Not only are you highly cunning and deceptive, you're highly skilled as well. I guess it pays being a former assassin."

"One of the best, I might add." END claimed. "I could end your life right now, but I think I want to see what you know, as well as why you bothered to follow me. Walk." He guided Zeref by his neck and the two of them started walking. Zeref was hoping he could do something to help out his brother, but it looks like he's the one that's going to need saving now.
