Hi!

This chapter, initially, was going to be longer. But I really liked how it looked from start to finish. So I decided to make a shorter chapter.

I hope you like it a lot and that you are enjoying the story. Right now we are seeing how Percy is adapting to his new reality and his new family.

I also want to tell you that I do not know if I can upload another chapter this week, if possible you will see chapter 6 this week. If not, see you next week.

Chapter 5

"Percy! Perseus! " It's the first thing I heard when I opened my eyes.

"Five minutes please" I said as I rolled over in my bed.

"NOT! You said the same thing an hour ago "I felt like he uncovered me. "So get up, don't make me get up by force"

"Triton, please" I said, sitting up on the bed and looking at him. In the two weeks that I had been staying in Atlantis, I learned that Triton can be very cruel when it comes to waking me up.

Triton looked at me seriously.

"Okay okay, I'll get up" I said as I got out of bed. "I change my clothes and meet in the dining room?"

Triton shook his head. "Get changed, I'll wait for you outside your room" he said as he left my room.

I looked at my room and smiled. These weeks had been incredible, every day I trained with Triton, in the afternoons I walked in the garden with Rhode and Amphitrite. And even though we're still getting to know each other, I can see us considering ourselves family, sooner rather than later.

I changed quickly and left my room, when I left I saw Triton leaning against the wall in front of my door, when he saw me he approached and put an arm around my shoulders.

"Come on, little brother"

Together we went to the dining room, when we entered we saw everyone having breakfast, when I saw them I looked at Triton raising an eyebrow.

"Oh, I almost forgot." Triton smiled at me. "It was the first time I woke you up today"

I walked away from him and hit him on his arm.

"Ahh! Percy! " He he said as he rubbed his arm. "Dad tell him something! He just hit me! "

My father looked at us amused and said nothing. I sat in my usual seat and looked at Rhode who was trying to hold back a laugh.

"I see how this works," Triton said as he sat down next to me. "It is the day to be against Triton. Now I understand everything"

"This wouldn't happen to you if you didn't bother me" I said while I ate.

"Percy, don't talk with your mouth full," Amphitrite told me. I looked at her while I blushed, swallowed and smiled at her.

"Sorry"

"You have to excuse him, mom. He's a little boy with no manners, "Triton said as he smiled at me. "But stay calm, I'm going to teach him"

"No thanks" I said as I shook my head and continued eating breakfast.

"I'm not asking you, Percy," Triton said as he snatched a piece of toast from my plate, I glared at him. "After all, as your older brother I have to set a good example for you."

I shook my head amused by Triton's antics, if a month ago they told me that I would be getting along with him like this, I would not have believed them.

"Stop clowning around and eat, the food is going to get cold" Rhode told us as she looked at us. Triton and I looked at each other and smiled.

"Okay, Rho" "It's okay, Rhode" We said at the same time.

Rhode laughed as she shook her head. We continue to eat breakfast normally. We were almost finishing breakfast when the dining room doors opened.

"I can not believe it! The whole family is together, "Kym said as she entered the room and dropped into the chair next to Rhode.

"Kym, we won't wait for you for a few days," Amphitrite said as she passed fruit to Kym. Kym looked at Amphitrite and smiled at her.

"I was able to finish early and decided to come home." She looked at all of us and bit the apple in her hand. "I wanted to see how everyone was"

I think it's time to explain that Kym is not what I expected, she has her rebellious streaks in which she tries her best to get away from her parents, but she is actually a very funny and dangerous person. She is as if she were Hermes but as a woman, you have to be very careful with her jokes. Certainly you shouldn't get on the bad side of her, but other than that she is a very good person.

"Kym chew, you're going to choke" Amphitrite told her as she shook her head in amusement. Kym looked at me and smiled.

"Hear the good news, I'm sorry I can't come back sooner." I smiled at Kym. "I'm so glad you accepted the offer."

"Yes, now we are going to be able to torment him for eternity" Triton said as he laughed.

"Oh yeah. There are so many things we can do "

"Kym I have a proposal that you will like" I said, Kym looked at me to keep talking. "Let's unite against Triton, he is older of us"

Kym nodded.

"No one is going to torment or unite against anyone" Amphitrite said looking at the four of us.

"But I never do anything, mom. Don't look at me, "Rhode said looking at her mother.

"Traitor" Triton said, looking at Rhode.

"Understood?" The four of us nodded. I saw my father laugh. "Okay, now let's continue having breakfast."

"Actually, Percy and I have to go," Triton said as he grabs my arm and lifts us off the table. "We have to train"

Amphitrite and my father looked at us suspiciously, then looked at each other and nodded. Triton and I smiled at them.

"See you later!" We said at the same time as we left the dining room.

"Okay, now we break free, now we have the whole afternoon free" Triton said, putting his arm around my shoulders as we walked down a hallway.

"Where do you want to take me?" I asked him while I was looking at him.

"It's a surprise, but you're going to love it" Triton said, smiling at me.

As we walked around talking about everything, I realized that this was the best thing that had happened to me as a result of becoming God. I had gained a family, sisters, a new mother, a closer relationship with my father, but I had won Triton. A brother with whom I shared more than we initially believed, with whom I could train and hang out, with whom I could spend hours, and someone I knew I could trust no matter what happened in the future.

"Hey, Percy! Are you listening to me?" Triton said passing a hand in front of my face "

I shook my head clearing my mind.

"I was thinking" I told him while smiling at him.

"In what?" he told me as he tilted his head curiously.

"In you" Triton looked at me in surprise. "In which I am grateful to have accepted divinity because that gave me the opportunity to become brothers."

Triton smiled at me. "I am also grateful that you have accepted immortality. And, Percy? "

"What happens?"

"Sorry, for all the times we met before"

I looked at him and hugged him.

"Nothing happens, the past is in the past. What matters is now." Triton hugged me tighter. After a while we walked away.

"Come on, I want to show you something." Together we left the palace through a side door. "What I want to show you today is our city, Atlantis. Dad never wanted to risk anything happening to you when you were a demigod, but now you are a God. And I know you are going to love our city "

I looked at Triton and smiled at him. "Seriously thanks. Thanks"

"Come on," Triton said as he tugged on my arm and we began to walk through the streets of Atlantis. And as we looked at everything and saw people in their daily lives, living peacefully knowing that they will be safe in Atlantis, I made a promise to Triton.

"Triton" Hearing me look at me. "I promise that I will always protect Atlantis, the sea, the ocean. I will always protect our home and while I am still alive I will do the impossible so that everyone is safe "

My brother looked at me and smiled.

"Together. Together we will keep our people safe. I promise you, Little Brother "He said while hugging me. "Together we can win against the world. We sons of Poseidon will always be the guardians of our people. "

We step away a bit and look into each other's eyes. As we watched our relationship change, from now on we were going to be a united front to protect our people. We were going to be brothers for all eternity and no one was going to get in the way of our relationship, we were not going to let anyone or anything get in the way. After all, we are children of Poseidon, children of the sea.
